The people makes this gym everything! When you are struggling to wrap your mind around your Fitness and nutrition goals, the coaches here really are encouraging and help you focus to make your path clear. The work outs are very challenging. Little by little you will see that you can do a little more and little more every week. I encourage anyone to push yourself, come and visit this gym. And see that you can do more than you ever thought! The best part is. You are not alone. The support is amazing!!
Known Coach Larry for years now, hes probably one of the best, if not the best crossfit coaches out there. Its quite a drive from where i live, but its worth it and i will be signing up to train with coach Larry again soon.
This place was my first experience with a Crossfit box and it was delightful. The coaches and staff are friendly and considerate. Really feels like a family. The coaches push you to your limits and I have been working out here for 4 years, not a single injury!They also offer lots of different workout classes like Group Fitness, Zumba, Tai Chi, etc. The staff also does a lot of classes on nutrition and healthy choices. All in all, a well-rounded gym!
In the beginning of working out and working towards being fit I felt like I wasnt doing much to improve, after about 3 weeks with coach Larry, I have noticed that I am reaching my goals of endurance, strength and body definition. Not only are my fitness goals being met, my overall mindset has improved. Being pushed in my workouts has translated into my real life in a positive way. I 100% recommend this establishment as well as the staff and I hope your experience is as great as mine.
I took my first group class at Lay It Down Fitness last night and I loved it! The Tai Chi instructor, Gene, is an excellent teacher. I have very strict criteria for choosing a place to exercise: the space feels warm and welcoming; the exercises are suitable to my fitness level; the class is small enough that it doesnt feel impersonal; there are others in the class who like me need to get in shape; the instructor is easy to understand and follow; and people of diverse cultures and colors are in the space with me. By the end of my class it was clear that all my criteria were met. Plus it can be a little intimidating as a 70-year-old woman to walk into a gym for the first time, but Coach Larry was so encouraging on the phone and made me feel like family from the moment I came through the door. I’m grateful to have found a place where I can pursue my fitness goals in an atmosphere that reflects the things I value.
Anyone looking for a gym facility. Id highly recommend before signing up with any other big company gym to check out LayIt Down Cross Fit per the staff and team is AWESOME. They go out the way MOTIVATE u which is a #1 for me to keep going and staying on track. This place is alot more reasonable then any other place you go to. The primary strength of this facility is Coach Larry Neal. I came in for several CrossFit 101 classes, and it was immediately obvious that Coach Larry is serious about drilling fundamental movements and basic skills before allowing for progression of weight and more advanced skills. I had the pleasure of working with Coach Larry one on one for several weeks in preparing for two different CrossFit competitions. His training and drills greatly improved my coordination and power with the Olympic lifts, and his individualized programming for me was crucial in building the mental toughness and endurance necessary to compete in competitions with 4 events in one day. I highly recommend CrossFit Lay it Down to anyone seeking to better themselves both physically and personally - you will gain not only skills in fitness, but your mentality and discipline will change for the better as well!
This is a great crossfit gym! They really focus on form, technique and an overall healthy life style. I have been at this gym for almost 2 months and it is worth the investment. Coach Larry and Coach Brian are exceptional coaches with a wide knowledge base. Nutrition & Health coach Alicia is very competent and helpful when it comes to healthy dieting. This is one of the best decisions I have decided to make on my fitness Journey.
This is a great place to work out. The coaches are fantastic! Larry really takes an interest in his members health and definitely focuses on stretching and warming up before doing a WOD. I have been a member of a few boxes over the years and this one has been the best in regards to spending time with the members to discuss their health goals and make sure they are heading in an excellent direction. Its a little smaller of a facility than Im used to, but Im hoping they expand over time to make more room for more people.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience as a member of Lay It Down CrossFit. Coach Larry is an incredible person and motivation to achieve big health goals. He is knowledgable and enjoys working one-on-one with each person. I look forward to going to class, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking fitness!
