Her customer service skills are something you dont find nowadays and it shows. She is very educated with vehicles and very personable with the customers. You guys are lucky to have her on your team, make sure to take care of the good ones because theyre hard to find nowadays.

I called over six places this morning to fix a leak in my tire. They were all booked for days or had very long wait times. When I called Monro they said to come right in. Right when I pulled up, they immediately took my car, repaired my tire and I was out the door in 15 minutes. They did not even charge me! I highly recommend this place. Very friendly and fantastic service!

I have honestly never had a better experience at an auto shop. Everything was so well explained that I could guarantee I wasn’t being ripped off or upsold on stuff I didn’t need. This will definitely be my first stop for all my auto needs!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Got towed in because my car overheated. Also had communicated with them because I have a warranty for my breaks. Did my breaks, picked my car with with the original problem still ongoing and my check engine light still on. Was told they would have to change me another $20 to check it or told me to go to auto zone, mind you my car had just came out of their bay. After speaking with the manager he offered no solution. Horrible customer service. Disappointed to say the least. I would rather spend much more money neglecting my warranty in the future than to ever have then look at my car again.

The kind gentlemen at Monro on Rochester Road in Troy helped me replace my headlight in just a few minutes time. They saved me a lot of headache with their quick and friendly service!

John, was honest, straight talking and took the point. I trust John for both my vehicles. I had a challenge and John was the reason why Monroe won me over...My wife and I work on our own vehicles so we understand cars. Nice place and friendly people until talking about the numbers.It is my right to get a detailed written estimate since I dont know every word that is related with the machine. Then the people there start telling me that he has to check decline on the computer to see the price of each work my vehicle needed and this will cause the DoT to track me since my vehicle is unsafe to drive.I dont know the law or regulation about DoT but this sounds definitely a threat. I have my right to shop around and you have your right to report my vehicle.

I love this shop the manager mr John is awesome, the staff is very honest and friendly.also the prices are reasonable.. they don’t try to trick you into getting stuff you don’t need.. I’ll definitely be bringing my car here for now on.Im one very pleased customer

This used to be my favorite place to go to for oil changes and car repairs, great management etc. They changed management, which is now okay but the past manager was great. I always knew I was getting an honest deal. After my recent visit on 6/20, I am not pleased once so ever especially after I found a light under my hood left by one of the mechanics. After this incident, I really dont recommend Monro.

Dont trust these guys at all. Went in for an oil change. After “free” inspection, they tell me my car needs new pads, rotors, and shocks, for a grand total of 1700 dollars. First of all fixing all of those things would cost about 800-900 dollars any where else. Secondly, all of thee above are looking fine at the moment (pads will need to be replaced in the next 5 thousand miles or so). Dont trust these guys, they are scammers.

What an awesome group of guys, Mike and Chris are just awesome, they helpped me get my brakes fixed and answered my many questions about how brake flushes prolong my braking system. They are both very respectful and honest Mike took me into the back of the shop and him and Chris explained why my brakes were making the noise that they were HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I lost air pressure twice in my SUV today. I stopped at my Chevy dealer on Maple Rd. And was told they couldn’t patch my tire until Monday.. I called 8 Belle Tires in the area and was told a similar story. I called Monro and spoke to Rob and he told me to bring it right over! They took care of me immediately and found the shard of metal in my tire and an additional nail. I was out in 20 minutes. Great guys. Outstanding service. I highly recommend.

Took my vehicle in to get some tires changed, on my way to the shop my alternator started to go out. Robert and the crew at Monroe Brake and Tire took care of not only my tires put also replacing my belt and alternator at a great price. He Kept in contact throughout the process, was very polite, and did great work! Highly Recommended Honest Shop!

We had an absolute great experience here. Chris helped us with an electrical problem with our heat not working in our van. It ended up not being a big fix at all and Chris was awesome enough to not go through our warranty and also not even charge us as this fix was only a couple of dollars! Dishonest, does not honor warranty. I got 4 new tires from the Monroe Tire in Flint in March 2019. Because my tire kept losing air and looked flat I decided to go to the Troy location on 6/1/20 because the Troy Monroe Tire was the closest to me, I called and explained the issue. They did say, I needed the reciept which I did not have. When I got there, they said it was the tire sensor, which didnt make sense to me because the tire was actually flat. I paid to have that tire sensor replaced and a couple hours later, a new light was on tire pressure sensor fault . I went back the next day and they said maybe I need to drive a 100 miles. I did that and it was still on. Went to Discount Tire and they actually pinpointed the issue, the rim on the front passenger side tire is bent causing the tire to leak air and the part of the tire that faces the inside of the car is bald due to the tires not being rotated. The front driver side tire has the same issue. So, it was never the sensor . I been to Monroe Tire 4 times, 2 times to the one in Troy and 2 times to the one in Flint . I thought the Flint location would be helpful considering that I got the tires from there but all they did was put sealant on the tire and air in the tire, which leaked out 2 days later. I am done with Monroe Tire, I will never go back. I will be filing a dispute with my bank.

When I First walked in I was greeted right away by Mike. He was Very respectful and answered all my questions. Management has changed since the 1st time I went there but quality of service and care for the customer has stayed the same. Excellent experience they were the only shop around that had the tire I needed in stock, they pulled my car in as soon as I dropped it off and got me back on the road.

Stay away, lousy warranty and service. Had front rotors and pads changed in Pennsylvania on 7/31/19, noise was still there so manager said will give me break on rear and only charge me for rotors. Paid $469 for front and $200 for the back. 10 months later back brakes are metal on metal, so I brought to the Troy MI location and he said cannot honor the warranty because Pads arent on receipt wanted to charge me $350 for rotors and pads. Talked to 800 number for corporate and they called him and told him to honor the rotors warranty. So I called him and he wanted to charge me $275 for the Pads even though the rotors are supposed to be $110 each or $220 for the pair. I dont know what school he went to but $350 minus $220 doesnt equal $275. Tried calling corporate again waited 1 hour on phone and then asked to be called when agent is available but no response. Bad quality and lousy service.

First time I’ve been back since they changed their name. Still do a great job. Bill in the office is very knowledgeable. If you are looking for a repair shop that won’t try and sell you stuff you don’t need then you should check them out

I expressed my concern to the staff and to the other customer in line, and worked on my car. 15 min later I was on the road again and showed up on time to my interview. Had a great experience this morning. I had oil changes on two of my cars. The manager was excellent and did a great job examining my cars and making sure everything was in good working order. All of my fluids were topped off as well. I had fast and friendly service. We have been customers for over 10 years. Great job, Monro!

I was at this location about a week ago. I knew I needed an oil change. They had confirmed this. But they also estimated almost $2,000.00 worth of work that my car needed. I went and had two opinions on there estimate and I NEED NONE OF IT!!!! But what they did miss was my O2 sensor is bad. They were under my car looking at my ball joints and such but didnt see the wire melting on my exhaust? What a joke, You see a women with car seats in her car and basically tell her that her tires are going to fall off after she told you she lives an hour away. Thanks for the oil change but i also had to have another one because i was low 2 days later. I will NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS LOCATION. I have family members that are mechanically inclined. I chose this location because its down the road from where I work. I will go somewhere else.

I went in to get one of my brake lights fixed was greeted by Bill. What I thought was going to be a 30 minute service turned out to be a 10 minute one. I was very impressed on the attitude of the staff members. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

This is my always go to place! Nick always takes great care of me. He is very nice, and very professional as well. The staff is just as great. I always feel very welcomed, and just as important when I am there. I never feel like I am being rushed. If theres ever a time I need a ride to or from work, they help me get there with no hesitation. I live an hour from troy, so to find a place I trust that is near my job and does good work has taken a weight off my shoulder. I always recommend them to people on this area! Thought it was a Firestone ended up pleasantly surprised and so was my bank account. They matched the price that Firestone was going to do it at and helped me understand what kind of things I needed to look out for including a bunch of problems with my tires ( which I knew needed to be replaced ). Overall great guys. We even had a laugh due to my manual car having a reverse that looked a bit different then other manuals. They were not as busy but I appreciated them walking through with me what I needed to be on the lookout. So overall probably will only need to be here about an hour. No super long wait or need to go home due to a long line of folks. Also hella honest. You can see everything they were doing so no problem concerns with sneaky price hikes. Didnt feel awkward either coming in as a woman knowing nothing about cars. I typically can tell when someones selling me something.

Terrible experience will not be back here again and would not recommend this place to anyone, please avoid! I bought 4 brand new tires for my truck and called this place up to ask for a quote on how much to install them, I told them everything about my vehicle (year, make, model, size and brand of tires, etc) and the manager that day told me $50 to mount and balance. It was close to closing time so I asked him if I could come in tomorrow morning and he said no problem but there would be a different manager because he was off work that day. The very next morning I brought in my truck when shop opened, and told manager I spoke on the phone day before and given a quote to mount and balance my tires for $50 and right from the start he was upset about the price the other manager gave. I told him if he doesnt want to do the job no problem, I dont mind going elsewhere. With disgust all over his face and an angry tone, he said he would go ahead and honor the quote. I was very reluctant but went ahead and let them install the tires, they said it would be ready in a couple hours. So about 3 hours later I showed up thinking it would be ready and I noticed they didnt even start working on it yet. I walked inside and manager said they didnt have an open bay, mind you there werent any vehicles in the shop when I dropped it off, I was the first customer of the day, they just didnt want to do the job to begin with and were keeping me in limbo the whole time. I went home and another couple hours go by and I give them a call, they said they installed the tires but put the wrong valve stems in and had to do the entire job all over again because they didnt have high pressure valve stems. So anyway, truck was finally ready at the end of the day and after all the hassle with the price, they finally got what they wanted, they charged me extra because they didnt have the high pressure valve stems and I needed to pay extra for them. I should have taken my truck right from the start to another shop and I would not have gone through the BS they put me through, but one thing for sure is I will never be back again.

James the manager Had my Lincoln Serviced and out the door with a fresh oil change in record time. Very professional in his manner and quick to offer advice with great value. He felt a repair that another mechanic had recommended was not necessary, saving me about $2000.00. I will be back.

I have been coming to Speedy for almost a year and I have never had any problems. Peter is always straight forward and lets you know what is needed to be done on the car. They show real ownership when it comes down to the services needed. Whether it be an oil change or something more involved, they give 5 star service.

I stopped going to Speedy when it went under new management and did not return due to poor service. Yesterday, I knew my car couldnt wait any longer for an oil change and I didnt have the time to drive 30 minutes to my dealership, where I have been going since leaving. I called Speedy and they were able to get me in no problem. The new manager Matt was knowledgeable and very customer service focused. You can tell the new staff wants the best for their customers so they continue to come back. My family and I will definitely be back as their customer and am glad to see they have the right people back in control!

The service at this auto shop was amazing!!!!! I am a girl who knows nothing about cars nothing!!!! The manager Josh explained everything I need to know about cars in general but especially my car. He took time out of his day to break down everything that was wrong with my vehicle. He also showed me what parts are what, and how they operate and function. From the engine, breaks, exhaust, seals, steering/suspension, tires, axles,starting, and the radiator. He even showed me how to change my oil for when I go away to school. Now I feel like I know more about my car, and I even feel confident to tell the next mechanic what to check for when I get my next oil change out of state. There was also another mechanic that helped me and he was so kind. He found the problem I came in for and fixed it right away. I left very happy and satisfied. I will defiantly will be coming back before I leave for school in 2 weeks. Thanks again guys!!!!:)

On a Saturday afternoon, my car was making some strange sounds while driving. I pulled into a nearby restaurant parking lot, looked under the car and discovered a protective shield hanging down and dragging on the ground. I looked across the street and saw the Monro Auto Service Center.They quickly remedied the situation and I was on my way within minutes. After talking with the manager and staff, I realized I have found my new vehicle repair center going forward.My sincere thanks to all involved.

I was looking for a new oil change place near my work when I found Speedy Auto Repair. I just showed up, not realizing it wasnt one of those quick-service, in and out, spots. The gentleman who helped me, Pete, was very nice and warned that I might have a slight wait, but they would take care of me. The wait wasnt long at all and the oil change very affordable. Tire was delivered to Monro, and I set the appointment date and time directly from Amazon. I was in and out the door in 20 minutes. No fuss. No waiting.

I was there today for a possible alignment issue because of the blessed Michigan roads n potholes...new mgr Josh was a super friendly, kind and knowledgeable person. Had to wait a little but totally worth it since they balance the abnormal tire pressure and verified the angles and stated no alignment required. Its a rare case these days of truthfulness and honesty that these guys acknowledged. I am surely going back anytime for regular maintenance issues

I have been going to these guys for the past 4 years. They never tried to sell me anything, is straight forward and does a great job. So many times Ive gone in and they found a few minor things that needed to be fixed and did it for free. The cost of repairs is very fair and Peter has always done his best to give me the best price. I came to Michigan earlier this year for work and had to get a car. I find out the AC compressor and clutch needs to be changed. Went through a few auto shops before I was recommended speedy and Im glad I came here. James (pretty much the owner) was very helpful and knowledgeable. Initially the new compressor clutch didnt work, but Jason took the time to figure out what exactly was wrong with it and fixed it up. I can finally say I have a trustworthy and reliable mechanic. I highly recommend this place.

Ive been going to Monro for 4+ months for service checks, pre-purchase inspection, oil change, etc. on multiple vehicles and am always extremely satisfied with the work and care from Ryan and Austin. Theyre both extremely honest and thorough and show great flexibility in being able to fit me in ASAP.

I have now dealt with Pete and the guys on a couple different occasions and I cannot be more impressed with their service. So much so, that one time he assured me a repair was covered under a dealer recall. When I brought the car to the dealership and they insisted the repair was not part of the recall and charged me a $120 service fee, Peter reimbursed me the $120!Although I was devastated Peter left this Speedy location, Jason has taken over and has assured me he will continue to provide the same reliable service at a great price! Just like Peter, he has provided us with the best price available without expecting us to dig for coupons!
