Having just moved to the area, I was eager to find a new nail salon close to home, and Star is it! I was able to get a same day appt; the salon is clean, modern, & comfortable; & everyone there is friendly & professional. Alex was a PERFECTIONIST with my powder dip mani in particular. My nails tend to curve down and he built them up to look more naturally flat without making them thick. Their prices are very reasonable and I can’t wait to go back!

Alex is amazing! If hes not available I wait for him. His attention ti detail is awesome and I always love my nails! You can Cashapp and Venmo here too! They also have Covid safe barriers and temp checks!

I have gone here twice for a pedicure and have been very satisfied with both visits. They offer many different packages for hands and feet and Im sure more than what I know. They have done a great job for me and I will go back.

I found Star Nails when I relocated from Ohio and was looking for a new nail tech. I cannot say better things about my experience so far. My service has been so fast and efficient and Heather does an incredible job with my nails and today I got a wonderful pedicure from Annie. They have a great selection of colors for gel and dip powder. I’ve also gotten waxing done and that was done perfectly as well! Highly recommend!

Was Looking for a new salon, after doing research on yelp, reading reviews and looking at prices we decided to stop into this little gem early one morning we were greeted nicely. I personally had “D” she was amazing, felt comfortable and at home, we had two technicians and they both opened new sealed nail implements in front of us and offered drinks. Being 9 months pregnant and due any day I will make some time to come in for this special treat whenever I am able.

Landed in Tampa last night. Just in town visiting from Pennsylvania. When I woke up I googled nail salons near my Airbnb. I saw a few but decided to come to stars. Their website helped me schedule an appointment and I was able to be seen at 945. Awesome right! Service is very good. Not rushed. Friendly staff. Didnt try to force gel polish on me like most salons. I like to change my color a lot and its not easy to take off. Long story short beautiful salon. Thank you for making my visit to a relaxing one. I got a gel fill and pedicure. They did a great job and the staff was very friendly, they even had holiday cookies out. Its very clean there as well which is important at a nail place!

After trying many salons over the years I found this place. Been coming for almost 2 yrs now I think. They are all great nail techs. Very professional,knowledgeable, and courteous. Everyone there owner Heather, Alex, Annie, Sophi, Yani (spelling sorry) and Nancy does a wonderful job! Even the couple that have come and gone were great! They take the time to get to know you and your specific needs/wants and go above and beyond. Heather just this wk really did a great personalized job with my very weak nails. They also do there very best to make sure u are taken care of in a timely manner. Can’t say enough about Star Nails by Heather💕

Don’t get me wrong I loved the friendly service, they were so nice to me and my mom but the service was very rushed, I felt very anxious rushing over to each different nail tech for a full set. I did also get a pedicure done which was actually quite nice the colors came out good and the service was good. but the full set was sloppy with the polish on the sides of my fingers and extremely dry cuticles. I was so sad. I was hoping for for them to come out really nice due to the reviews. Maybe I just came on a bad day but I wasn’t impressed. :( not a great first impressionBut I will come back on another day maybe a day that they aren’t so busy

I just started being able to afford to get my nails done again this year after recovering from this long quarantine we’ve all been in.I went to a different salon where I was doing some errands the other day that a friend had recommended. Needless to say they didn’t do a very good job. So I called Star Nails today and asked if they could take an appointment for my daughter and I at 6 o’clock even though they close at seven. They were able to fit me in and fix my nails and put a brand new wonderful fall color on them. I ended up getting my eyebrows waxed and my daughter’s lashes done for her senior pictures tomorrow as well. The lady Who did my eyebrows educated me on my natural arch and made them look so good and clean.My daughter looks beautiful as well and I’m sure I’m going to cry when I see her pictures tomorrow. Thanks for all your dedication to your customers and keeping such high standards as well as a clean salon through this crazy time of Covid 19.We will be back and happy to see heather and her staff.😁

I went to Star Nails to have my strip lashes put on. It has now been one month and they are still on!! Ladies, its about the care of the lashes which makes them stay on so long. I work out, sweat like I just came out of a pool and they are still on. I clean my eyes around the lashes, thats the key. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed. Clean shop and the staff is very friendly. You are always greeted by the owner Heather. Top Notch for all your pampering!

Came here because I had a groupon for a manicure with Heather, I am super happy with her & the salon in general. Heather was sweet, did a great job in a timely fashion (I was on my lunch break so thank you) and did a quality job! I recommend upgrading to the gel manicure as I did it was well worth it and also I would make an appointment - its a beautiful shop and there were steady walk-ins on a Wednesday afternoon so Im sure they get busy!

This was my first visit at this nail spa, and my friend and I were both very impressed with the servce that we got. I had a pedicure and manicure done. Everyone was so polite and took their time not focusing on rushing us out the door. The massage with the pedicure was very thorough, unlike other places that we have recently visited. Most clean and good atmosphere I have seen in a nail shop! Ty keeps your visits interesting and not boring or awkward, unlike most shops. He is funny and very good at his work. I use to jump around between shops trying to find a good quality one and his was the best and Ive been going for about the past 2 years now! I drive a good 30 minutes just to go to his shop! Everyone there is very nice and welcoming.

My go to nail salon. When I first moved to the area Ive been to,no lie 5 different salons before finding this one. Its always clean and theres never a wait. They always seem to have plenty of staff on and offer refreshments during your services. Wine, cappuccino, water, or soda. Hope this helps!

I have come here many times and I have yet to have a bad experience, everyone in the salon is so nice and polite! They have a huge collection of gel and polish colors to choose from. The lady worked on my nail took her time for every detail of my nail. So I love this place! Price is reasonable for what I got. I am very pleased when I leave.

Nice staff, but they do not keep appointments times or with the people you requested. The staff is not trained well, and they are a bit disorganized. They may be under staffed. Everything felt extremely rushed! And being shortstaffed should not be something that affects how you treat your clients. Nothing about my service was enjoyable. When you go get your nails done you want to relax and everyone was so loud in particular the staff. Maybe realize that your job Is to make someone feel pampered and enjoy the experience not just to get their nails done. This is very disappointing! The staff was more concerned with their friends and chitchatting with them then they were how I felt and how I enjoy the experience.I was not even able to sit down to get my nails done I had to stay in the chair for pedicures and it was very awkward and uncomfortable because I had to lean to the side and stretch my arm out so I could get rushed through instead of putting me in the manicure chair so I could be comfortable. It’s more important for them to make more money than it is to have happy customers

This is the best nail spa I have been to. I have been to everyone on dale Mabry and NEVER have I been treated so good. Heather is extremely personal and no matter how busy still gives the same great service. She as well as other staff are absolutely amazing with lash extensions. I have very heavy eyelids which can be challenging to do lashes and have them show once I open my eyes. No one does them better. I get compliments all the time. I pass a number of nail salons but would not leave star nail and spa. Not only amazing work but they work hard to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable You will love love love heather the owner

Heather did my upper lashes, I had never had extensions. She is beautiful and incredibly talented! I love love love my lashes and they have lasted raking leaves for 2 hours and bass fishing in the wind and sun lol. I WILL be back to this spa often!

My friend and I both had a great experience here. They really go the extra mile to make you happy. I accidentally messed up my manicure twice and they fixed it for me. Lots of colors to choose from too.

They overcharged me to get gel, chrome, and a design on one finger. The very next day, all of my nails began to chip. I called the owner and let him know and he told me to come back when it is not bisy to get my nails re-done. I went back after 2 months because I work and I couldnt go on the weekend because he told me to come back when he is not busy.I went to get the gel done and they wanted to paint the gel without doing a manicure. I told him that the credit I have should cover the manicure and gel and he told me it was my fault that it took 2 months for me to cone back and they will not do a manicure before applying the gel.He had no problems taking my $60. Terrible owner and person.
