I did a basic full set and a pedicure here. I will not be going back. My whole experience was rushed and it felt like they were just trying to get rid of me. They did my pedicure and my full set at the same time so it was anything but relaxing. I felt anything but human. I was looking for some relaxation and some time to spend for myself and it was a disappointment. Somehow i ended up paying $80 dollars for a BASIC pedicure and a full set. The full set was $30 dollars and a basic pedicure is NOT $50 dollars. So how did they charge me $50 for a BASIC pedicure. Make it make SENSE. I feel robbed of my money and almost taken advantage of. For those of you who are looking for a fast service because you have somewhere to be in 30 minutes, then this might be the place for you. But if you’re looking to relax and feel taken care of. I do not recommend. Overall, my nails look good. They did a good job on my nails i will give them that but hopefully they don’t lift after 4 days. If you care about customer service and professionalism then go somewhere else.

Melissa was great her English was limited but she was very friendly the front desk guy wasn’t wearing a mask 😷 that’s why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 I got a mani/pedi n the callus treatment was really good 😌 Melissa really clean out my cuticles very well thank you so much and her hands were so soft and I called her mei Ling because I didn’t know her name until I was gonna pay 💰 😩😩

Such an awesome experience, Everytime Im in town I MUST have Tony do my nails, hes very good and has awesome details. Me and my BF had a pedicure as well and it was very nice and relaxing.

I got mediocre nails at the cost of pain. I can usually deal with a few cuts but this set burned on most of my nails as if the primer was not fully dry or the bead wasn’t right for acrylic application. Wasn’t okay with technician touching my necklace close to my chest either, very odd interaction. The design wasn’t all that pretty to be upcharged for to nearly 60 dollars. Disappointed and definitely put me off to even going near this place again. Just go to a more local spot and help family owned business like I should have done in the first place, that was my fault.

Pedicure was on point! We chose the aloe pedicure. Included hot stones, hot towels and extra lotions massaged in well. They spent plenty of time making sure our feet looked their best! Normal prices for the extra we had done. Definitely will be back!!

Waited 40 minutes after my scheduled time before service started. The tech was kind, asked what pedicure I would like, and I told her the best they offered because its been over a year since I was able to have one. She worked quickly, barely did anything, and before she even started polishing my nails, I looked at my heels and saw they looked no different than when I walked in. I could have done a better job at home with my own pumice stone. I paid for the service, even left a tip, because I understand its a hard job, but the quality of the service was sub-par.

We are in Tampa for a week on vacation and I wanted to find a nice nail salon to take my 21 year old daughter and my sister in law for pedicures. I drove by a few nail salons nearby in strip malls that looked really sketchy so I kept looking and found this place in a Google search. It had good reviews so I drove over and looked in. It was really nicely laid out, with at least 10-15 pedicure chairs and looked very clean and professional. I made an appointment for a few days later and we went today. We had a great experience and all 3 of us received really great manicures for a reasonable price. It was a very nice experience.

We recently moved closer into the city center and where desperately trying to find quality service at decent prices. My wife and I stumbled on Tampa nails on Cypress, To get a full service for our maternity photos. They treated my wife like a queen and did her pedicure and manicure while in the massage chair (she is 8 months pregnant) and Tony was so fast and perfect on my full set! We came back a week later for waxing which was perfect as well. This will be our nail shop from now on. I do recommend making an appointment as they are in West Shore and will be busy.

I called for an appointment on 07/27/2021. I was told I could walk in. On doing so, I was told my wait would be 20 minutes. After requesting service, I was assigned Rosie. Her client was late. I asked for a Callous pedicure, which offered a longer massage. I was not given that extra massage, as Rosie’s client walked in. She did a terrible job with my ingrown and went to attend to her client whom she went all ga ga over her. This is not professional. I even told her that I was not given the treatment I requested for. She just turned a deaf ear. The owner needs to train his staff about being professional. Even the application of the color was haphazard.I did not write this out of spite, but want to owners to know.

Do not go to this nail salon. The guy who did my manicure cut 5 of my cuticles. Each one was bleeding. One nail bleeding through the whole entire service. While my nail cuticles were still bleeding, he put my fingers in the dip powder jar that EVERYONE uses. Then while he was painting my nails and while my nail was STILL bleeding, he took his dirty nail and cleaned off the blood. I was absolutely horrified. Now the next day one of my nails is infected. I get manicures very regularly and this is by far the worst I have ever had. And now I may have to go to the doctor if the infection doesn’t get better. Please go somewhere more sanitary where they actually know how to do nails.

I walked in for a simple gel removal. These are my natural nails so no tips or any other service add-on needed. First thing I notice is that the front desk guy was not wearing a mask. They did not use the plastic divider that is supposed to go between the customer and nail tech either. It just sat on a table. According to my receipt, I had Tony. He used the electric nail file tool to shave down the top coat and then proceeded to soak my nails in the aluminum filled acetone for 5 minutes. It did absolutely nothing when he tried to scratch it off with a tool I have never seen before. So then he put my nails back in the aluminum filled acetone for another 5 minutes. We started to make some progress on my right hand. Another 5 minutes passed and he starts working on my left hand. The whole experience was just very rough and care-less. He seemed like he was frustrated that it was talking longer than expected, almost like he was trying to rush me out even though the place was dead. There was literally only 1 other customer there getting her nails done. When he finished, I was told to wash off my hands and could then pay up front. As I was washing my hands, I noticed that my nails felt very weird. I kept looking at them trying to figure it out. When I was up at the register, my total was $10. I was a little surprised considering I did not think the quality of service was worth it.... so I asked Tony right there and then before I put my debit card in if all the gel had been properly removed and showed my hands to him once more, he just replied yes yes. So okay fine, I pay and go to my car to start sending pictures to my friends because I was very disappointed. Whatever though so I drive back home and then look at my hands in my bathroom because the lighting was better. It is very evident that there is still gel on my left hand ring finger. He also proceeded to crack my left hand pinky nail.I usually go T & L Nails on Davis Island where they charge you $7 for gel removal. But decided to try out Tampa Nails since it was down the block from my apartment complex. Well let me tell you, I will NEVER make that mistake again and will just make the drive out to Davis Island moving forward. T & L Nails is a very reputable, nice, and inexpensive nail salon.If this is how Tampa Nails handles gel removal, I would not even trust them to paint my nails with regular polish. Let alone apply gel.Do not waste your time and money here.

I got a fill in and a pedicure with gel polish on both my feet and hands. My total was 80$. That was on a Saturday and my nail started lifting up on a Tuesday. Money wasted on my nails.

This was my 1st visit- I appreciated that I could make an appointment through their website without having to call. When I arrived, the salon was clean and nice. My nail tech, KT, did a decent job on my nails (acrylic fill with gel polish) but was very standoffish and not friendly at all. He was very obviously rushing through- finished in 30 minutes, the fastest fill service I’ve ever received and I’ve had acrylics for many years. Again, he did a decent enough job but because of the lack of positive customer service and rude vibes I will probably not be returning.

Excellent experience at Tampa Nails Westshore. Hanna is the best. She is very thorough, takes her time and listens to how you want your nails done. I get the dip manicure and love the look. My nails look great and last for at least 3 weeks!

Tampa Nails is a great place for a pedicure! Wed never been to the Cypress Street location (only the Hillsborough one). Same great service! The people are very friendly and thorough. We always try to stop at a Tampa Nails when were in town.

I have found two incredible nail technicians at this salon. I love this place but now it is even better with these two ladies. Kim gives me an exceptional manicure with dip. She so thorough and makes sure she does a perfect job. Cam does my pedicure for me and she is so good at what she does. Both of these ladies are very personable and polite.

Very beautiful place . Im here visiting for a short time, this place is a walk away from my hotel. When I got back to my room I notice my nails arent smooth all the way around and have about two dents in my nails that the acrylic was not filled in enough. I dont have the time to go back but that was disappointing.

The location/building is clean and inviting, but thats the only pro to this place. A friend and I both moved to Tampa recently and stopped in on a Monday afternoon hopeful that we had found a new place to get our nails done. We both opted for their volcano pedicure option and are both regretting it. My friends technician couldnt stay off of her phone and my technician was rude. She didnt smile once or even converse with me. Even though we paid for their most expensive pedicure option both of us felt like we were just wasting their time. The whole pedicure was rushed. When we were done we were told to wait 10 minutes and that was the end of our experience. Not even a thank you or have a nice day. Customer service goes a long way and unfortunately there was none here. We will not be back.

I said I wanted a full set (acrylics) and I signed in saying I wanted acrylics and the nail tech started doing a regular manicure and I corrected him and he charged me for both a regular mani and acrylics. He did do an amazing job on the acrylics I just wish I wast charged $18 extra.Edit: the manager contacted me after seeing my review and gave me a refund. Very much appreciated.

I came in to get a gel polish on my nails and polish change on my toes. Actually I’m still sitting in the salon writing this review. I don’t live on this side of town but was in need of a polish. The lady who polished my toes was very sweet however the guy who did the gel on my nails was very rude. He was rushing me to pick a color and when he did my nails I tried to engage in conversation as I told him this was my first time coming to this salon but he didn’t even acknowledge my comment. I asked if they had multiple locations he said yes and that’s all. Very stand offish and he rushed doing my nails as if he didn’t want to do them. Please provide more customer service training to your employees. For this very reason I won’t be back.

50 bucks and the gal was on her bluetooth the entire time..and answering the incoming shop calls too but those were personally as well. lol Didn’t say one word to me while she did my nails. She literally ran my credit card, turned her back to me and walked away. lol It’s a shame because I really had high hopes since it’s so close to my job.I guess customer service and connecting with your customers isn’t important to them because they don’t need anymore customers. ;)PS Be careful...the floors are super slippery!

I had a wonderful experience at Tampa Nails with Trisha.... she gave GREAT massages on both my legs, feet, arms arms hands and I only ordered the basic manicure and pedicure. The chair was really comfortable and the soft music was so much better than radio. I loved that the TVs werent on too... it felt more like a spa visit than I was expecting for the busy area!

Hana was gentle, thorough and very personable. My next visit to Tampa, I will definitely make sure to stop in for another pedicure.

My sister and I both received full sets. Two days after having them hers fell off. Today is the fifth day and my middle finger on my right hand snapped at the glue seam. Her set was $30. Mine was $55 because I wanted dip powder.This place was rather expensive, the looked beautiful, just sad they did not last like they should.

This nail salon was across from my hotel. I went to get a a quick polish change. They did a good job, but I think $10 is a lot for a regular polish change! I was pleased with my services though.

Walk into this not busy salon on a Tuesday for a pedicure and immediately was told a 1 hour wait.. Over 15 chairs and about 5 people in getting pedicures. I will never go back very unprofessional and the young girl was rude..

I will never be back! I went for a fill and pedicure and they did both at the same time! It’s not a big deal but i felt rushed and it wasn’t very relaxing! Also i asked for the same color on my nails and toes and they are clearly two different colors and when i said something to the girl doing my nails she said it was the same color and it’s clearly not! This location is so close to my work! Have been here 3 times already and Yen does not disappoint! Ive noticed that this location does get busy around lunch time and after work depending on the days but my wait is never too long and theyre very accommodating. Officially making this my permanent spot!

I prefer to give NO stars. Horrible experience. Rude nail techs with bad attitudes. The few times I went, I was never greeted or made to feel welcome. To add insult to injury, the job performance was terrible. My nails broke within days. When I complained to the owner via phone call, he said there was nothing he could do, that the nail techs were independent contractors. Well, sorry for you ....... I now go to Heavenly Nails, and love it. I would rate a negative 5👎

The worst experience! I did the deeping powder there a Friday and the same day my nails where cracked i couldnt go on Saturday but when i went on Sunday they said o yea yea we will fix it and they just fixed 1 nail so I Lost $40 because today is Monday and my nails are falling apart and they are supposed to Las from 2 to 3 weeks

Would give a zero if possible. I arrived at 730 the place closes at 8pm. Place is pretty much empty (1 customer) with staff sitting on their cell phones. I asked if they were still open and was told no even though the signage says 8. I pointed that out and was told they take the last customer at 730. It was now 731. Just my luck.

Cam was every polite and efficient, she was very kind and curtious and went out of her way to make me feel very comfortable. The girl in the shop took good care of my husband while I was getting my nails done, whom was jus diagnosed with lung cancer. I highly recommend Tampa Nails.

This is absolutely by far the WORST nail place I have ever been to!! Their customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE If you want to be treated with any respect whatsoever I would suggest not going there ever they look like they do good Nails however I believe is the manager I’m not sure of her name but I am pretty sure she’s racist as I don’t believe she likes white people stay away from that place

Charlene is an amazing nail technician. She is extremely friendly and outgoing. You can tell that she genuinely cares about her clients, she takes time to get to know them. She takes pride in her work and she is an absolute perfectionist. It feels good to have a nail tech that cares and makes your nails look bangin EVERYTIME!

I’ve never posted a negative review on google, but I just had the worst manicure of my life so I thought I’d warn anyone who’s considering going here. Not only did I walk out of this place with nails looking like a toddler painted and filed them, the customer service was absolutely horrific. As my nails were soaking, the woman servicing my manicure, started filing her own nails with the SAME tools she was using on me... which also led to her nail dust getting all over my hands and shirt. Also, she watched multiple episodes of TV shows on her cell phone, regularly taking breaks while in the middle of my manicure so she could situate her phone/look for different episodes to watch. I have been getting my nails done for years, and have never received such awful service. I can’t believe I paid for a manicure that I will be personally taking off in a few short hours when I get home.

I literally never give bad reviews but unfortunately this was my only option! I got my nails done Sunday, by Thursday 4 had already broke. When I call to see what I could do I was hung up on. When I called back the manager hung up on me again! I was never disrespectful but was horribly disrespected. The staff was extremely friendly but the manager is beyond rude.

Awful service. Awful product. Will never return to this salon. I dont mind paying $60 for a full set when they look amazing and stay on more than a week. Within a couple days they were lifting and within a week, 2 had come off. They were crooked, shaped horribly and just down right awful.

So it’s kind of a hit or miss shop. It is always clean and has a very nice atmosphere....And I have had the best service and distracted service here. This last visit: pedi & dip... the dip manicure first: well the guy who did it didn’t take his earphones out, use lotion, do my cuticles, and the nails have already began peeling... so do I go back for repair, idk.The pedicure was good and this guy did a great job...massage, hot towel & cuticles done. So bring cash so you can tip properly, if getting more than one tech.In review it may be great or not so great, but since it’s a drive for me and the services are inconsistent...I’m not sure I’ll go back

Ive been pasting by for the last 6 months wanting to stop, so today I finally did and it was well worth the wait. From the customer service, to the overall experience just a Relaxing and Refreshing experience. From the time my daughter and I walked through the frony door Lilly & LeAnn were all over the job. They met my expectations above and beyond. So to say my overall Experience here was 💎rating plus 10 🌟💯💯💯!!

Went in for the 1st time received acrylic nails after 3 days the Polish is chipping off so when I went home I didnt feel as though the job was done correctly because my nails were not painted on the sides but only on the top. I put clear Polish overtop so that it Would have a shine. Still looking as though my nails had been on for at least a month I went in to get a fill when I went to get the fill the lady said no you have gel Polish on! I proceeded to let her know it is not gel it is acrylic she goes $5 $5 more! I said OK so that brings me to a total of how much for in acrylic fill $25. Thats the price of a full set no way I asked if I could remove the Polish with the swab, every time I tried to remove the Polish on my hands she pulled back the cotton swab and took it out of my hands at least 3 times. I told her no way youre not overcharging me. I got up and left bye.. I wont be back

Came in on a Saturday for a manicure. Wasn’t greeted by one employee or the manager for at least five minutes. When I finally was acknowledged, my manicure was done fast, carelessly and with no basic manicure services. The manager did my nails without cleaning her workspace there was clippings and nail dust from the previous customer. Nail Utensils looked dirty. My manicure didn’t even include a hot towel or lotion massage. It was the worst experience and such a shame given the location. I would tell anyone to save their money and go elsewhere, this is a pathetic excuse for a nail salon. If you work hard for your money like I do, treat yourself elsewhere.

I am only giving this business one star because I cannot give it a negative rating. 1st of all everyone just stared at me when I walked in the door. Once they finally acknowledgd me I sit down and the man did not speak to me. As he was doing my nails he broke one of my real nails. When I complained about the fact that he broke my real nails the manager or owner came over it and was speaking to me as if I was lying. When I tried to explain the situation to him he was very defensive to me. I would not suggest this establishment to a dog let alone a woman who is going to spend her money to get her nails that they are very rude and unprofessional at best spinge or money anywhere else.

I had a bad experience. They were understaffed even though we made an appointment. It was the quickest pedicure I’ve ever had. In and out in 30 minutes. My polish is already peeling off and it’s been 5 days. Very disappointed and will not be back. There are plenty of other nail salons in Tampa that will take their time and give you a great pedicure.

I am a mother of 3 girls and never do anything for myself so spending $60 on my nails was a lot for me. I wanted acrylic but the person there talked me into getting them dipped. She said they would last for weeks. 1 week later 3 nails came off and all the rest are cracked. I will never go back there.
