I had an excellent experience with Jim Browne Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Tampa Bay. Walt was the salesman and he did an excellent job of meeting my requests and needs. When I test drove it, the engine ran rough and Walt had it checked out and they replaced the motor mounts to make it run smooth again. They helped me get the insurance ironed out and did an excellent job of meeting my needs. They have followed up with phone calls and the price was better than I had been quoted by the salesman. The Financing person did a great job so that I understood what I was getting into. Overall it was one of the best car buying experiences I ever had.
I went yesterday to purchase a Dodge Charger RT for my son. This is my second car in 6 months that I have purchase at Jim Browne. Previously was a Jeep Gladiator for my Daughter. First I want to be clear. I realized that this is where I had the Jeep serviced not where I purchased it. I apologize for the error. However, I did purchase this New Jeep Wrangler from Jim Browne Chevrolet across the street and this is where they serviced it. Not sure why they dont know who I am. The Jeep had 8200 miles on it but I still purchased as new. This vehicle was possibly a repo or a return because of the pandemic. I looked over the jeep and it appeared to be in great order. Except for some blemishes on the back windshield of the soft top where the previous owner had put stickers on it and the sun had baked around the sticker leaving an indent. The Manager had agreed to purchase a windshield and have it shipped to my home where I would replace it. Since then I had noticed that all the door screws were missing that hold the doors in place and several of the screws on the front of the vehicle were aftermarket screws. Possibly because the previous owner had installed aftermarket parts on the vehicle. I also noticed that one of the lock lug nuts were missing on one of the tires. I have currently replaced all the door screws and replaced the lug nut on the tire. However, I reached out to the salesman about the windshield 2 times. Both times was promised a return call but it never happened. Otherwise I would say it was a good purchase. Im happy with the Jeep.

Recently purchased a 2021 Grand Jeep Cherokee. Rich was a great help the first day we arrived looking for a specific vehicle. He was able to track it down in their inventory. When we came back Sunday to discuss moving forward with the deal we had the pleasure of working with Todd! Overall I had a great experience. Todd was super helpful and very easy to work with. He was personable and tried to make the transaction as easy as possible. I wont lie, buying a car is not in my top 10 faves and Todd was super patient with me as he could tell I was a bit overwhelmed. We have purchased two cars from this dealership and have recommended to several other people. However, I would not recommend the service department. We dropped off our vehicle off on the 8th for an engine issue. The person who was working the ticket on our vehicle left the dealership and we have had little to no updates on the vehicle. We have called several times but have received text saying they have techs out sick and will get back to us. I called this morning to speak to a manager and of course have not heard back. The warranty for life is only valid if you take your car to their service department but with incidents such as this, I will not be taking our vehicle back or purchasing from this dealership again. In current times, it is hard to find help, but a car should not be in a service department for a week with little communication. If we have known of the issues, we would have taken the vehicle to another Jeep dealership. A week without a car or not even being offered a rental is ridiculous. Very disappointed that there has been such a decline in Jim Browne and hopefully we will get our car back soon.
I took my vehicle in for a repair that is covered under the warranty. The service sales person pleasantly lied and told me that they would no longer honor their own warranty. I purchased my vehicle at Jim Browne BECAUSE of the warranty that they no longer want to honor.

Jim Browne is the worst dealership in Florida, came to have my oil change with Mopar coupons in hand, and the dealership refused to honor them. I was told the prices listed on the coupons are incorrect, also that my vehicle was originally purchased in Canada, which the dealership says is another reason they couldn’t honor the Mopar coupon. I told my service guy, that the dealership needs to call the corporate office of Mopar and have them remove the coupons if your dealership not going to honor them. Bait and Switch, Jim Browne Chrysler in Tampa is despicable, and untrustworthy!!!
After a miserable experience at Jerry Ulm and other Jeep dealerships, my husband and I were beginning to give up on our dream of owning a Jeep Wrangler. Luckily we did not give up and reached out to Jim Browne! DREW was who answered our call when we asked to test drive a Wrangler and this began the absolutely best car buying experience of our lives in 20+ years of car shopping! We asked Drew if he could have a Wrangler ready with keys in hand when we got there and when we pulled up, he was outside waiting with the Jeep pulled up. We took it for a test drive and loved it. From that point on, Drew gave us over the top customer service throughout the process. We worked on picking out a Wrangler and put a deposit down. It was not the one we had hoped for so Drew told us he would monitor all the Wranglers coming in and keep us posted should we want to choose another one...which he did! There was never any shady dealership business right through negotiating the price and signing the documents. Even the finance department was a pleasure to work with. The day our Wrangler was ready was the day we were moving into our new home so guess what Drew did? He offered to drive our new Jeep TO US! It was such an amazing thing to not have to drive to go pick it up on such a chaotic day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jim Browne for your car needs and definitely ask for DREW! Hes kind, courteous, knowledgable, friendly and delivers top notch customer experience!

Today he corrected what was not a good experience earlier during the week at the shop with the most polite, courteous, and genuine desire to help fix the car and repair relationship with us. Well I can say I was pleasantly surprised this time. Took Jeep in for an oil change and was out in 1 1/2 hrs. I know it doesnt seem like something to celebrate but the last 5 yrs have all averaged 2-3 hrs. Since they wont schedule appointments for scheduled service its a start. 🙄

I went to the dealership to look at one truck I saw another truck on there lot. I didnt think I could afford but I thought I would ask anyway. Antonio, Tony, was my salesman and he helped get a price on the other truck which is a beautiful vehicle, unbelievable condition, a 2016 Ram 1500 with just under 29,000 miles. He and the staff, the management in the finance man worked long and hard to get me into that truck. It was an amazing experience and they got me into a truck that I didnt think I would be able to afford and they worked it out and got me payments I could afford. I thank them very much because this is an amazing vehicle and no one else in town could help me because I was underwater in my trade. Recently been looking for a new vehicle since my car of 15 years had been having much issues the last year. I haven’t bought a new car in so long I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I can honestly say this was my best experience so far with ease. Most of the dealing was over the phone since I do not live in the area and had to travel to pick up the vehicle. Rich was the salesperson I dealt with and he was very up front and did not try to pull anything...I was very pleased with him. I will be looking at them again on my next vehicle in the future even though I do not live in Tampa.

I located the Wrangler I was interested in on the Jeep website and found it was in transit to the dealership, so I reached out over the phone and spoke with Internet Sales Manager Tony Camarero.Tony was able to work out a lease deal for me over the phone that was much better than any other dealer in the area. After we worked out the all I had to do was provide a small refundable deposit to hold the vehicle when it arrived.At no point in the negotiations did he say things like This is very sought after vehicle, or This is one of the only ones like this within 100 miles, or other things to try and get more money for the vehicle.Once the vehicle arrived it was a very quick and painless process with Tony and the Finance Manager. At no time in the process did they anyone try and upsell me on anything.I appreciated that Tony was able to do the entire deal over the phone and that he focused on what they could do for me vs what other dealers could not do for me.Tony has also been proactive to follow up and see how things are going (on more than one occasion), and is super responsive to my email if I have a follow up question.
Christopher in service did an excellent job. He kept me informed on every step of the way with the repair of my truck. He is an asset to your company. I didn’t purchase my truck from Jim Browne but I will from now on get my truck serviced there. If your sales department is as good as your service department I will be buying my next vehicle from Jim Brown. Kudos to him and your company. Job well done👍
After a subpar experience at another Jeep dealership, we decided to travel here because they listed the exact vehicle we wanted. I had communicated via email prior to our trip to make sure they had the vehicle we wanted. When we arrived at the dealership we were promptly greeted and escorted to the salesman we had communicated with (Carlos). He had taken the time to have the vehicle detailed prior to us arriving and promptly brought it around for a test drive.After the test drive, we started the negotiation and trade process. My wife and I have purchased approximately 25 vehicles in our lives, and this was by far one of the top two experiences. After receiving their trade value, we informed them of our desired price. They came back $400 higher and we ultimately made a deal for $100 more than we initially asked for (which was a great price).The entire purchase process was low stress and a bonus was the excellent conversation with Carlos while awaiting the completion of the paperwork. We highly recommend this dealership. If not for the distance from our home, they would be our preferred dealership for service.
Von is the best salesperson I ever had. This being my 16th brand new vehicle since 1985, i never had this pleasant of an experience.Vin was knowledgeable, honest, sincere, responsive and a great person.We bought a truck sight unseen with 2 trades. Unreal but different times.Ask for Von, you won’t be disappointed.
My husband and I recently purchased a 2021 RAM 1500 from your dealership. We had a great experience throughout the entire process, beginning with the receptionist. Our Salesman, Nathan, was very knowledgeable and professional. Carlos worked diligently to locate the truck my husband wanted. The General Sales Manager, Tom, called around and got us the most money he could for our trade-in. The Finance Manager, AJ, kept us entertained while he completed the paperwork. We will be sure to recommend this dealership. Mr. Browne should be very proud of this crew.
I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty. I couldnt get the back window to close and I took it here. They said they would charge $160 for an estimate, but not charge if I got it fixed there. The estimate was over $1000! My neighbor fixed it in 15 minutes, by putting a shim under the latch!
Great service. Drove from Englewood. one trip and done. They ordered a cargo net and will ship with some forgotten items in old vehicle so we dont have to go back to Tampa. Everyone super friendly. Don our salesman was great to work with, not pushy at all. Great dealership experience. 5 star review

Dont go there unless you want to be scammed! We paid 189$ for a diagnostic that has not been conducted properly (if not at all).My husband brought them the car for a diagnosis after noticing a problem with the brake pedal. They ran it and gave us a 1100$ quote to change the rear brakes (without the wheel cylinders). As it was too expensive for us, my husband took the car back and decided to do it himself. Before taking the car back, he explicitly asked Melissa whether the master cylinder and power booster were okay and they said yes.My husband started changing the brakes and discovered that they did not look at both sides of the car (the brake pad was still struck to the drum on one side, which should not happen if they check it) and broke a brake shoe on the only side they checked. He also discovered that the cylinders needed to be changed, and it was not on the quote. Changing the brakes did not solve the pedal problem. It was in fact due to a problem with the master cylinder that needed to be changed and leaked into the booster (that had to be changed to). NONE OF THIS WAS ON THE DIAGNOSIS ANF THEY TOLD US THOSE PARTS WERE FINE!This is inacceptable. We paid for a job that has not been done. What would have happened if we have let them the car to repair it? They would have called us and tripled the quote after actually looking at the brake system like they should have? Maybe that was the scam.
From finding my Jeep online, contacting the dealership, having a response within an hour from Von to get info and the process started simply over the phone, to entering the dealership and walking out with my Jeep working an hour I am far more than impressed. While in the dealership my Jeep, that had only been there for three days, was sold by another associate as well. Thankfully, Von was on his game and contacted ASAP. I would’ve been heartbroken And since we left we have not found a better deal then we found through them!!!Thank you Jim Browne 💙💙and team.

I have been taking my truck to Jim Browne Dodge on Florida Ave since I moved to Tampa 4 years ago. No more. I had bought a oil change package to try and save a little money. I guess they forget to tell you that it has an expiration date. I only go when my computer comes on to let me know that oil change is required. So I took my truck in and dropped it off. Only to have a charge for oil change and tire rotation. I asked about the package I had bought and was told that it expired in August. I told them that no one told me there was an expiration date to no avail. So beware. Since my truck is out of warranty I will be using a different shop. Plus they lost a customer the next time I go in to buy a new vehicle. Also they did rotate the tires but didn’t put enough air in the rear tires so the low tire light came on halfway to the house. Maybe a minor inconvenience but when you are paying for them to do the job right it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
From buying my Jeep to maintenance, the employees here have always been super helpful. Big shoutout to Debbie in service and the service manager (can’t remember his name 😳) as they have been super helpful with a radio problem I was having. Great customer service!
Just bought my second car through Roberto. Amazing salesman, really worked his magic to close me deal. Friendly attitude. Ran into some bumps and he knew how to fix it immediately.
