WOW!!! 5 star experience!! Dino Ricci did an excellent job taking care of my fiancée and I. We came in looking to trade in our Ford for a Tacoma. Dino helped us through our budget and found the Tacoma that fit within that budget perfectly. I found a great car priced at $25,700…. By the time they added in all of their EXTRA DEALER FEES … the bottom line out the door was over 33,000.00!!!Unbelievable and really nasty way to do business. Thank goodness I do my homework first! I can’t imagine the folks that just sign off on unnecessary charges.They would not remove or discount any of their fees. No negotiation at all!!!Good God Toyota of Tampa Bay!!! Y’all best regroup.
I did have to wait for a little longer. I was not thinking when writing my review that my car was not a Toyota, and so they would have to get certain thing from dodge if needed. Even though I had to wait longer than other people with a dodge they still treated me with respect and kindness. I do recommend to come here for servicing and repairs even if you dont have a Toyota.
My daughter was looking to buy a used car, we got there and the selection wasnt what she wanted so David Willard walked us to the new car lot and she fell in love with a 2021 Camry SE XP. I have purchased 2 RAV4’s and have had them serviced at Toyota of Tampa Bay since 2013. Even though I live much closer to another Toyota dealership, I do not mind driving a little bit out of my way for the great service and amenities Toyota of Tampa Bay has to offer. The advisors are responsive and the waiting lounge is roomy and comfortable. Not everything has been perfect but when something went wrong they have made every attempt to fix the situation. That is how you earn customer loyalty.

Good dealership if you want to pay over blue book and an abundance of fees. Went in to buy a car I was interested in that I saw online. Their website listed it as a Certified-Used car, then they had the gall to add a $1500 fee to get it certified, and refused to remove it. I’ve been to a few other dealerships this week, and all of them were eager to work with me on price. This place obviously had no interest in selling me a car that I was ready to buy. Don’t waste your time here.
From the moment we set foot on the lot we were felt like we were in the right place. We were welcomed with a smile and a very knowledgeable and personable sales associate. The associate we were blessed with was Hal. We felt as if he wasn’t trying to pull the wool over our eyes. You could tell by his work ethic and choice of words that honesty and integrity was important to him. He made no empty promises and worked around what we had to offer. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or forced into anything. By the end of the car buying journey I left feeling as if I had made friends within the company. The process as a whole was painless and truly enjoyable “which I previously thought to be an impossibility.” With that being said on behalf of my family and I thank you Hal! Went in looking at a Highlander. Met with Gary Benson. He assisted us by showing a model. The dealership didnt have any in stock. Gary went the extra mile to order us our vehicle and kept us updated on the status. He was very professional and answered any questions we had. Definitely will be buying another vehicle from him.
This dealership is absolutely atrocious. I have had nothing but issues since my lease buyout and have not been able to get in contact with anyone who seems to be able to do anything, despite leaving messages. They messed up my buyout - resulting in me losing 150 points on my credit score because the account is now showing past due. When I explained the situation to the bank, including the fact I havent even looked at the car in 3.5 months, they told me until they complete the payout, there is nothing they can do to remove it from my credit. On top of this issue, when I actually bought the car, I was never told that the first financier denied my application because of my length of employment history. Fresh college graduate paying $55k for a car - understandable they denied. But instead of informing me - they go to a different financial institution to get me approved and somehow that loan amount is about $8k more than the amount requested from the first bank. Low and behold, I only find this out when I receive the reason for denial letter 3 weeks later. Shady is an absolute understatement. I have never had a single credit issue up until working with this dealership and am now at risk of not being able to purchase a house because of their behaviour and inability to do their jobs correctly and communicate. To the extent theyve also lost business when we bought another Toyota 2 weeks ago from Lakeland instead.The only saving grace for this abomination of a dealership is their service department. I would give them 5 stars - always friendly, communicative, helpful, and kind. Too bad the shady sales and finance departments ruined it!
Just moved to Tampa and needed a routine maintenance check. I used to wait 2 1/2 - 3 hours in the lobby of my old Gettel but Toyota of Tampa Bay ubered me to my apartment and back for free. Omar took care of my car and was super friendly and communicated from start to finish perfectly. 10/10 for sure

I purchased a used vehicle about 2 years ago. First I must say this is the best service department and the most professional and polite salesman. I have ever dealt with, That being said I recently had an accident and vehicle was totaled. I purchased gap insurance from the dealership, but after insurance paid their portion the gap insurance is shorting me $882.41 because the vehicle had a previous accident and it was not repaired correctly. This was a certified used vehicle and I was never told it was in an accident. I am so disappointed especially since 2 of my family members have purchased vehicles their because I recommended them. I have now been without a vehicle since June 28 trying to get the gap to pay more but they are a very shady company. Please be careful of what you sign. I understand this is not the dealer doing this to me but they should stand behind what they sell you even gap insurance.Update:Accident date June 28, 2021 and today is 08/24/2021 me very heard back from anyone. I sent email with details as they requested and I never heard back.
I’ve been coming here for a while now, but my last visit was the best for far thanks to Harvey. Every time I go I usually have to wait a while when I go pick up my car. He made the transition from beginning to end so smooth and kept communication of everything going on with my service. I 100% recommend working with him he goes on and beyond.

Brought my car for service, the staff at service are very friendly and helpful but the wait time even with an appointment is over 3 hours, I didnt see my name on the board until I went and ask about it. The sales staff are aggressive, pushing a sale. I was approached by 4 of them while I waited and one even called me even before my appointment. As some one new to the Tampa Bay area,. I will be exploring other Toyota service locations.

Toyota of Tampa Bay team perform very poor in keeping up with time commitment for the vehicle Service. I am getting my vehicle Serviced with them over the last 7 years since I bought it from them. Every time I had to wait for 2 to 4 hours even for the simple oil change service. I have tried different appointment schedule from 5:45am to 7pm and the outcome of delay in vehicle service has not changed. Numerous feedback doesn’t help to change themselves to provide faster service
Brittany was both professional and proactive in all of our interactions. She anticipated my needs, and provided professional and accurate advice on all the topics we discussed. She made my purchase decisions easier and stress-free, and was an intelligent and enjoyable person to work with. I dont know what Toyota of Tampa Bay is paying her oh, but it isnt enough! I went to an alignment there and when finished with the alignment they try to trick me but did not know if I’m a mechanic also. They showed me that my brake caliper on my left side was leaking but I knew it right away that they lied to me. Purposely they open one the bolt on the caliber that hold the brake line of the caliper. So I told them that the caliper wasn’t leaking before a bring it here. They did not what to becuse they are ripping people off. And when I arrived to my house, I tightened the bold and after that no more leaking. I mentioned to them that the brake caliper wasn’t leaking before I bring it to them. I can’t imagine how many people are losing a lat of money with those people who are working there. Before you bring your car to that place make sure if the car have any other problem because they will couse other problems to your vehicle without you notice that. This is my advice.

Took my Toyota highlander to this facility as I had it at a mechanic who put it on a machine and told me I needed a new actuator as my rear AC was not working. Car was under warranty and all they did was spray the door. Did not work and I still have no rear AC as I was quoted $800 to repair. I unfortunately will not use them again.
I am extremely disgusted by the service that is being provided. If I could give zero stars I would. My key battery was dying and I decided to go to Toyota Tampa Bay to get a new one before it completely died. No other issues were going on with my car. I recently had my vehicle serviced and everything came back great! I was told when I arrived to service to just go to the parts department and they would take care of me. I spoke with a gentleman there and he changed my key fob battery. I left a happy customer. Until 2 hours later, I’m stranded in the middle of no where because my key fob would not register in my car. Every time I walked to my car or put the fob near the ignition to start the car, my trunk would open. I found this odd as I DID NOT have any issues with my car until Toyota changed the key battery. I then called service and was placed on hold several times. I finally called parts who transferred me to a manager and I explained the issue. Explained that I was stranded and my car would not start. He said he would email his manager and the dealership manager to have someone contact me. This was Wednesday. No one EVER called. I had to pay to have a tow service jump my car just so I could get home. I called Toyota Tampa Bay and told them this. They said I needed to bring it in. Since I’m not in town they said I could take it to another Toyota which I did. They wanted to charge me an obscene about for a diagnostic and would not reimburse if it came back that there is nothing wrong. I called Toyota Tampa Bay again and spoke with a manager today. I explained the issues that I have been having and he immediately became combative with me. Stating that it is not there fault that my car is having issues. Over talking me when I was trying to explain these issues were not happening until they changed my key fob battery. Needless to say, it became a screaming match and he refused to help so I hung up! I have never experienced anything like this. I honestly want to trade in my car and get a Nissan again because I never received this type of customer service there. I guess I’ll just continue to have my truck randomly open and pray no one decides to climb through and steal any of my belongings or my vehicle
So my daughter bought a car from a sales man named Abdel and she absolutely loved him and referred me to him. He was amazing along with the sales manager Ryan. They understood my situation, didn’t pressure me and helped me to the end til i was able to get into a newer vehicle. Im very appreciative and thankful I went to them.

Bought a beautiful 2021 Camry from Toyota of Tampa Bay on Fletcher over the Memorial Day weekend. Abraham was my sales associate and he was great! He answered all of my questions and made the process of buying a new car easy. It was very busy at the dealership but he made me feel like a priority. Overall impression: Abraham delivered excellent service and made buying a car a pleasant experience.
All deal went great with the sales people, but as soon as I got into the financial area the guys started to push me things into the monthly installments that were supposed to be already included in the deal that I cut with the sales people. So, be aware of the financial people when you get there, demand that they respect the deal that was settled with the sales agents, otherwise they´ll try to push you hundred dollars more into the bill! The three stars go just for the sales agents, the two missing starts is due to the financial sharks lurking around.

I would start off and say that Allen our salesman had great customer service really knew how to talk to people and make them feel welcome. The reason why I am rating this dealership so poorly is my wife and I were shopping for a 2021 highlander and sales team was not really trying to work with us, gave us a decent price for our trade in, but the biggest issue was after the manager appraised our trade in he lost our keys, thank goodness my wife had her set of keys and we were able to drive our car home, the next morning Allen contacted me and said they found the key, and no one in the dealership was wanting to at least give us gas money to drive 30 mins away to pick up a the key . Allen is a nice guy but whoever lost my key and completely inconvenienced me and not even offer to give us gas money, I will never shop or even send anybody to this dealership, went to another dealership where they met our needs and we are proud owners of a 2021 highlander.
My wife and I bought a used 2020 F150 we came in for our free oil change we made a appointment for 9 o’clock and we are still here after two hours for a free oil change as we are sitting here waiting on our vehicle to be finished we witnessed a salesman name Dino helping his customers with their new vehicle he had no idea anything about the vehicle he kept asking other cells men how to do different things so he could show his customers he did not even know how to open the gas door.We also witnessed a salesman name Xavier He kept his customers in his office for over two hours he kept disappearing we seen him outside the building for like 20 minutes left his customers in his office.I would NOT Recommend going here for anything!!!I would like to add my Service Rep was FANTASTIC and he kept apologizing for the long oil change, I would recommend if you have to go there ask for Kevin J.He was very nice!

Mo is an excellent man with a high level of experience in selling. However, Neil Cann (service rep) fought very hard on behalf of their reputation for excellent service. He coordinated with management to find a agreeable resolution to the problem. They agreed to replace my rear window and I am happy that Ive bought and service my car at Toyota of Tampa bay.

We ended up not making a deal on Sunday (my wife changed up the car she wanted and what we originally were aiming to spend changed so we had to sleep on their offer for a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee). His manager Martin was very polite to us as well and we went home all on good terms.We ended up coming back to the dealership yesterday, (05/21/2021) just 4 days later. We spoke to Andrew again and he was just as kind and patient like the first day we spoke to him. We ended up making the deal on the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and couldnt be happier! Dropped my jeep off to get tint done and full detail at 2:45pm going on 9pm no call, no update, just got off the phone with them was told, oh I’m sorry but the detail hasn’t been done to it just has been sitting in the lot for 5 hours but if you want you can come by tomorrow. 2nd month with my jeep battery just died and was informed sorry we don’t cover wear and tear you’ll have to go to autozone.

I just got off the phone with Greg Willard (GM of Toyota of Tampa Bay) I was threatened with, and I quote, “you’re not going to like where this conversation is going.” When I asked him what that meant there was a bit of talking in circles. My vehicle was serviced yesterday at this location and after I received my vehicle from being serviced, there were interior cosmetic flaws. I tried to work this out with the service manager Steve C. This was to no avail. He told me in so many words that Toyota wasn’t liable. I called this morning hoping to have a simple conversation with the GM... I did not expect to be THREATENED! I’ve actually had issues with this dealership before as far it’s customer service is concerned, but gave them a second chance... and was even asked, and did change my review on Google! That was the wrong decision. I will be contacting corporate with further details. I’m from Indiana and leased my first Toyota from Evans Toyota in Fort Wayne. I have been a loyal customer since April 2016, and even though their facility isn’t as big as the one here in Tampa, the customer service is head and shoulders above Toyota of Tampa Bay.
When I say Bill is the best salesperson ever, I mean he is THE BEST! He truly made my entire experience purchasing a Toyota amazing. I totaled my car 2 days before moving to Florida for grad school, and Bill was able to procure me a Rav4 in days. He even went so far as to pick us up from the airport with my 6 bags of moving luggage. If you’re looking to buy a Toyota, RUN don’t walk to Toyota of Tampa Bay and ask for Bill Finnell!
Made an appointment and they even called to confirm our appointment. Was supposed to meet with a Christian. We drove an hour to find out he wasnt even in that day and the Sienna that we wished to see had to be hunted down in the lot. After 20 minutes, finally saw the Sienna just to see how dumpy it was inside. Yes, its a used vehicle. But Toyota didnt bother cleaning it! The seats were filthy with splatters and there was a dead roach! Complete waste of our time!! If you want to sell a used vehicle, make sure its freakin presentable!! Dont recommend this place if youre searching for used.
I do not recommend this Toyota at all. Make the drive to the Clearwater Toyota for better customer service and absolutely no BS. This place is ridiculous on prices. You couldn’t pay me to go back to this place. They are scamming their customers into this $2000 “warranty” for them to replace your wiper blades for you… are you serious. Seems to me to be a cover up for more dealer fees (which keep in mind is another $899). They tried selling me a 2009 Corolla with 65k miles for $14,000…. I went over to Clearwater Toyota and bought a 2020 Corolla with 10k miles for $5k more. AVOID this place at all costs to save money. It seems to me they try to prey on the uneducated buyers…
I called to see if they still had a Honda Odyssey that was advertised for a very reasonable price and Salesperson Shannon said it was there and asked when we would be in to look at it...I told her we were leaving now . On my way to the dealership, Gabriel called and asked if we were coming to look at it and I told him that we were currently on our way. He said wonderful and we hung up. When we arrived at the dealership and asked to view the vehicle, we were told that it was in the service department, hadnt been tested yet and we couldnt look at it... Even though we were speaking with Shannon, the one I originally spoke to. I had to go to work, didnt have alot of time... Dont let these people waste your time.Basically, they advertise extremely low prices to get you in there and try to sell you something for more money. I will never go back. .

Enjoyed my experience with Toyota of Tampa Bay. Everyone was friendly and eager to make deals. Fernando Gonzalez, Jr., was extremely accommodating, knowledgeable and willing to make my deal happen. He was also a lot fun to work with - a very personable guy. I live in the panhandle of Florida, but would encourage any of my friends and family to make the drive for a new ride! Man when I tell you that Kevin Zapata & Eddie I gave me the best dealership experience of my life! I have purchased 3 cars in my life span so far and by far this has been the most easiest, best experience in the world! Not only was I not satisfied with the deal Toyota originally offered me, I also felt they were not trying to accommodate me nor my situation until I came back 2 weeks later and got introduced and greeted by Kevin and Eddie. Not only were they understanding, but they did everything in their power to get this deal done, after 6 hours at the realistic, the deal was sealed and I can’t be happier.... I tell you this, soly because of Kevin and Eddie I will only purchase my future vehicles from Toyota of Tampa Bay

I bought a used Toyota SUV, I came here attracted by the advertised price. Once at the dealership I was explained the dealer fees, and the MANDATORY Toyota Tampa Bay Advantage which cost $2,000 and is a lot of BS that you DONT NEED.(Example: windshield treated with a special rain repellent,Door Edge & Cup Guards, A/C Refresh, Roadside assistance and Collision Credit (DUPLICATED SINCE YOU HAVE THIS IN YOU CAR INSURANCE), Surface Sanitation ???, Headlight Protection??, Nitrogen Tire Service??, BAHHHHI am submitting a complaint to the FL insurance business bureau, and Ombudsman. These guys SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED to scam people because this is what the Toyota Tampa Bay Advantage is, a real SCAM. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR CAR !!!!!!
I wanted to take a moment to thank Steve (service director) and Kevin Jofko (advisor) for taking such great care of me when I came in to get my vehicle serviced. I wasn’t aware that there was a recall on a particular item in my vehicle, but Kevin set the repairs and Steve made sure I was able to get in and out in a rental so that my weekend wasn’t disturbed. Thanks guys for great service!

Be prepared to be here a while. The facilities are comfortable and have all the fixins. All the staff are very nice.
