This is the worst place to trust with any drug screen.I showed up for a pre employment drug screen gave them a sample in which the collector Sandra stared at the sample for over 6 minutes dumped it into another cup and proceeded to say the temperature was not registering. So she called a man in to watch me give another sample. I waited 6 days and no results. She took it upon herself to write the employer a letter making look like I tried to falsely take a drug screen which they wouldn’t test. So I had to call the collecting officer/doctor myself and which of course I passed my drug screen. So not only did she embarrass the hell out of me cost me 6 days of work and almost cost me a new better paying job
I was in and out within twenty minutes. The staff was friendly and were very attentive.
Do NOT be late to your appointment - even 5 minutes. (I was because I mistakenly thought they were in the court building.) I was immediately chided for being late and told theyd work me in. I then sat there for 40 minutes, and I was not even one time addressed again until I left. At least 7 people came and went.... They even took 1 walk-in AND a guy who was 15 minutes early for his appointment while I sat there. I didnt mind waiting, but the lack of any additional communication was uncalled for.Luckily, I have found another place to go, and Ive scheduled an appointment with them this Saturday.
They were very unhelpful. Hopefully the owner looks at reviews. I was the first person there no one in line. I did have an appointment, I walked in thinking I could just wait and they would squeeze me in. No such luck, I asked well right here on my e mail receipt it says walk ins welcome before your appt. “ I don’t know why it says that the state of Texas says we can not do walk ins, it’s illegal” Both ladies said the same thing. I said I’m happy to sit here 2hrs if that’s what it takes for you to have 3 extra min to do my finger prints. No we can’t do that.Wow I drove 1 hour to another facility off blvd 29 in hurst Texas. They are so nice professional and helpful. I even canceled my appointment through the website created a new one at the other location one month out and they happily did my finger prints this morning. Such great people !! In and out in 3 min. Please don’t waste your time, go to the hurst location and walk right in. Plus they actually care about their people and don’t hate their jobs.I hope this saves someone the extra 2 hrs I lost this morning.I wouldn’t waste my time justifying anything either. It’s very clear by the reviews what everyone is saying must be true. I was absolutely told it was illegal 100 percent fact. It’s really hard to be in a position of serving others, some people just don’t belong in the Industry.
Do not waste your time coming here they are very rude.
We use Step One for all Court proceedings and testing. We absolutely love them!
CANCELLED my appt because their computer was down, with no option to wait for it to come back up. Rude incompetent staff.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I WOULD.
I have used this office many times before and have always had great experiences until today. The young lady that did my fingerprints seemed incredibly inconvenienced by my being there. She kept sighing and rolling her head back, but even looking at what she was doing. She was also very short in a hurry to get me out of the office as quickly as possible.
Beware. Step One provided results in direct conflict with Tarrant County’s Veteran Courts results that included 9 months of records. Judge Grubbs denied their results in a custody hearing in February 2017. I believe this business is colluding with certain parents to affect the outcome of child custody cases in this county. I personally know that their neighboring businesses, True Reflection Skin Professionals and Simply Pure Cleaning Services, are currently pushing for anther drug test to be done through Step One again. The owners, Nicole and Daniel Almaguer insist on this location and even offered to pay which is a huge red flag considering there are drug test results already available through the Tarrant County Courts.I would not trust this business at all if your a Non-Custodial parent, a disabled Veteran, or a minority.
For this small-sized office, it really isnt acceptable that they are not requiring masks to be worn by all of the individuals entering the office. I was entering for finger-printing for a CPA license and even though they had spaced out the chairs in the very small lobby, many were entering without masks. Given the current risk, and the size of the small waiting room, masks should be mandatory for clientele.
The girl thats in the front desk was incredibly rude. She was quick to say no without even listening to the question. If you didnt want to come to work that day dont come in! No one is pulling your arm! People/Businesses are paying their hard earned money for you to do your JOB!! And if you going to walk around like you own the joint which I seriously doubt you do please make yourself look presentable, put an iron to your scrubs you wear and dont walk around in flip flops!
Incredibly rude. Told on the website they would take walk ins, went in they said they could work us in, but they didnt take walk ins. One couple with an appointment went first, which was fine. We were left sitting with no one else there, then a guy shows up 25 minutes early for his appointment, and they take him back instead of just making him wait a few minutes to take customers already sitting there. (Because appointments take priority despite being 25 minutes early) Rudest people I have ever dealt with.
They are rude and extremely slow. Be prepared to wait and not be greeted.
I just needed an I-9, but they did it right away and were very friendly. Dont know what all the hate is about.
Don’t waste your time going here for fingerprinting. Totally incompetent.
Mildly rude, not very informative about what u need and on Friday drug testing isnt done until 1:30 - 2:30. Also fringerprint appointment is hard to get and keep if your trying to get a state license for a first responder like EMT police and etc.
I have been using this location since 2011 and have never had an issue, I always get in with little wait(as long as there are not a lot of folks already there) and have never had any staff issues, the place has gone through some changes and staff over the years but my visits have remained the same
NOT the place you want to go to be tested
This is my second incident with this service. Whoever does the fingerprints and answer the phone is kind of rude. Today I chose to use another facility and they got me sooner when I told them how I was treated here.
