We walked into Westshore Mazda the place is elegant and we are quickly greeted. I would start off and say that Derrick Bensch our salesman at Westshore Mazda, he had great customer service, he really knew how to talk to people and make them feel welcome. He was very nice and not pushy at all! He even showed me how to use all the features and set up my phone. I was treated professionally, quickly and respectfully by everyone there! Derrick went above and beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend contacting Derrick for your next vehicle purchase!! DO NOT do business with them, they are an extremely unethical and unreliable car dealership. I drove from Jacksonville to buy a car and all four tires starting coming apart on the way home. This was suppose to be a “pre certified” vehicle, It clearly was never inspected properly, if at all. I took it to a repair shop and the guy told me all four tires needed to be replaced and that I’m lucky that none of them exploded on the drive home. After repeatedly contacting and being ignored by timo Fitzgerald (the car director) he rudely told me it’s not their problem because they “inspected” it.
If you are considering a new car, go here. We visited as a walk in last Sunday and we were immediately helped by Abdul. He was super friendly and sweet (and model-level gorg). We told him the car we were interested in and he pulled it up for us, walked us through all the features of the car, and sent us on a test drive. When we came back it was just a matter of financials. It obviously takes a while and Abdul kept us updated throughout the process. Everyone we worked with at this location was professional and easy going.As for the car, I literally tell myself (and anyone who will listen) how much I love my Mazda. Just bought a third Mazda for our family from Carlos at Westshore Mazda! (He’s a wizard, Harry!) He gets you into the car you want at the price you ask. I don’t know how they work their magic…I just know they are straightforward, don’t waste your time (no spending all day haggling), and have great warranties, too! So far, two of my sons have gotten their cars from him…and now, I have, too. I thought, for sure, I would be too upside down on my trade in because of mileage…but Mazda gave me more money for my Honda Grand Touring CRV, than Honda was going to give me! That speaks volumes! Great payment, beautiful new car, better gas mileage and better warranties…it makes a difference. We have now bought three cars from Carlos…there’s a reason for that. He’s honest, true to his word, and works with you to make sure that you’re happy with your car AND happy with your payment. Now, extended family is going to him, too. I can’t speak highly enough of Carlos and Westshore Mazda…and all they have done for my family. Just go see him…you’ll understand why.

Salesman, Harry, did everything he could to help. However the overall experience was frustrating and unprofessional and it still hasn’t ended even though I picked up my car almost 2 weeks ago. I was sent a survey I filled out honestly. Once the sales manager received the survey he actually tried to punish me. I was offered a gift card for the issues I was having, and tried to cancel my new car detail bc they never detailed it when I picked it up. The sales manager took back the gift card because he said I slammed them, but was forced to honor the detail because the car was never done. I could care less about a gift card, but the the lack of customer service and professionalism was stunning.
The car salesman Muhammad was great from start to finish. My husband and I never felt pressured from him even when we changed our mind about the car we originally went to see. Muhammad ensured us he would help us get the financing that we were comfortable with for a newer car that I did not think we would qualify for. Again thank you Muhammad for staying late and working with us to get a vehicle that we really wanted.

Went in for an oil change and got charged nearly 500.00 for extra services that I did not approve nor ask for. Luckily they sent me the receipt before job was completed and I was able to stop them before they went off on their own and charged me.Second one is I requested a quote for a trailer hitch and installation for adding a bike rack and was told it would be over 1,000.00 for parts and installation. I cant recommend enough never to purchase anything from here. I am happy with my Mazda which was purchased in North Carolina but i have no intention of ever coming to this place for a Mazda or any type of service.
My purchasing experience with Westshore went well enough. After weeks of research, I walked away with what I know to be a good deal on a new 2021 CX5. Save for the fact that they bake a $2200 dollar Westshore Advantage fee into every car they sell. Make no mistake, its just a way for them to make a few extra bucks while advertising their inventory as priced to sell. Regardless, I wasnt going to buy a vehicle with the Advantage plan attached. So, after an hour or two of back and forth, they knocked $2200 off the sale price, and offered me the promotional deal I was quoted over the phone. All things considered, everyone at the dealership was very friendly.If things had stopped there, Id give a five star rating. The car buying process is it what it is. Youre gonna have to fight for your money wherever you go. What I appreciated from Westshore, was that they were respectful of my stipulations and inquiries throughout the negotiation process. Unlike other dealerships I had been to, they didnt lowball me on an initial trade in offer, and made concessions where they knew they had room to.So, why a 2-star rating? Well, its been over a month since I paid nearly 30-grand in cash for a new car, and Im still without an updated registration. My tags expired weeks ago, despite the fact that I was promised itd be taken care of by my renewal deadline. Westshore charges a mandatory $400 fee to handle the filing digitally, which they outsource to another automotive group. So, weeks later when I call in asking for assistance, they give me a phone number, and ask me to call the agency on their behalf. Talk about a slap in the face after spending so much money at their dealership. Never mind the fact that they charge you to do the paperwork themselves.So, intent on preventing myself from being pulled over, I call up the agency myself. They promise to get things taken care of, and overnight the tags. A week later, wouldnt you know it: Still no tags. Today, I called up Westshore to explain my situation once more. Believe it or not, they tell me to follow up with the agency on their behalf. Go figure. So, I ask them to resolve the situation for me, and I get passed off to a voicemail. So frustrating. Heres the kicker, I begrudgingly call up the agency, only to find out they never actually overnighted the registration.Long story short, I spent $30k on a new car from Westshore Mazda, and its me who ends up doing the legwork.
I was able to get an appointment and get in the same day. Then the job was finished more quickly than I expected.
PERFECT car buying experience! We just purchased our first Mazda from Westshore and we live in Gainesville. It was well worth our time and I can guarantee it would be worth your time as well. The entire staff was excellent but I have to give a shout-out to Adrien for providing the easiest car buying process ever. He was informed, quick, and professional. The next time I need a car Ill be making another trip to Tampa and hoping that Adrien will still be there!

Customer service was great prior to the purchase. Post-purchase not so much. I left messages, with no follow up call. When I had to call in about my issues, Abdul answered the phone both times . He was very nice and professional. I wish I wouldve had him as my salesman .

I purchased a car in April from them and it’s has been nothing but an absolute nightmare getting the paperwork they messed up all straightened out. They have spelled my name wrong on every single piece of paper they have ever sent me, they have also filed the wrong paperwork multiple times resulting in a need for multiple temporary plates for my vehicle.Their customer service is horrible! Empty promise after empty promise. I’m currently waiting over an hour for a phone call back. They said they’d call me back in 5 mins. I’m constantly chasing people down to get my temp plates, the correct paperwork, or anything done correctly. This entire dealership is inept.I’ve never been more unhappy dealing with a group of people in my entire life. I wish they would just do their jobs correctly so I don’t have to call them anymore. It’s MONTHS and I still don’t have my actual plates. These people cannot be trusted to do anything correctly. Save your time and money and buy yourself a car from people who know what they are doing!!UPDATE : The car cannot be driven until paperwork is updated which can take weeks. These people sold me a car that I can’t even drive at the moment because they messed everything up so badly. Didn’t even offer me a temporary car to use while I wait weeks for my plates. I have no car to use now. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CRIMINALS.

Found a gently used Mazda 3 on their website with very low milage and very clean at a decent price. I visited the dealership and decided to buy the car. The dealership was very pushy with their added value package that included things like scratch resistant protection, nitrogen for the tires, and roadside assistance (I already have roadside through my insurance company), and a couple of other things that werent useful for me. This would have added $2000 to the total cost of my purchase. I politely declined and they werent happy about it. We completed the sale and then on my way home from the dealership, the gas light and the check engine both came on. I called my salesman and brought the car back so that they could at least provide me with gas. Unfortunately the service department had closed for the day and I needed to bring the car in the following day for the check engine problem. I brought it the next day and I was informed by the service person that a part would need to be ordered to correct the issue. I had no problem with that. I left the car in there possession for another normal workday and through the weekend. No updates were provided to me on a time-line, no phone calls from the salesman to see how the repair of the new to me car was going. I purposely waited until 3pm on three separate non weekend work days to call them and get a status for the work being done. 5 days after I purchased the vehicle, I pick up my new to me car with no explanation or paperwork of service accomplished. Although, I did ask for and received the paperwork before I left. The service person printed the paperwork, handed it and my keys to me and walked away. No thank you, no have a nice day, no thanks for being a our NEW customer or anything. A week has gone by and I havent received any follow up calls about the repair or my level of satisfaction with sales or service. Ill say that I feel like I found myself a great car for a decent price. From my personal experience, I feel no one cares about customer satisfaction at that location. I would prefered to make a purchase elsewhere in the future and will not be recommending this location to any of my military work friends. Thank you for reading and hope this helps.

Im not sure if its because Im a woman, but in the mans world of car sales I was always uncomfortable and felt taken advantage of with my previous auto purchases. I had a bad experience at another dealership so I was hesitant to walk into another possible similar situation, but I am so glad I came to Westshore. I bought a 08 ford expedition from them. they sold it to me with a bad transmision in it. never got to test drive it because it was in the shop both times i came to see it. they said they couldnt hold it until it came out of shop so i could test drive it only way was to buy it so i did. now they wont fix the problem. i will never buy from them again.
How do I start to tell you that if your going to buy a Mazda it has to be from Westshore Mazda and you have to ask for Carlos Rosa. My family and I had went to a Mazda dealer in Brandon and because of the poor service we received we decided to go to Westshore Mazda and this was the best decision we made. Going to Westshore Mazda was by far one of the most wonderful car buying experiences I have ever had! Carlos and his team treated my family and I as if we were part of their family. Mind you we had previously had a horrible experience at the OTHER place so, we were apprehensive but, Carlos and his team treated us with respect and professionalism. What impressed me the most was that because they are under construction they are working out of a trailer but they treated us as if they were working out of a new building. Under those pressures and conditions they worked flawlessly and rolled out the red carpet. Carlos and his team made my nieces first time car buying experience very pleasurable she got the car she wanted and at a great rate. I have always been a Toyota guy but, Carlos and his team have converted me so, my next vehicle will be a Mazda. To the owner of the dealership Carlos and his team deserve some type of recognition for the outstanding work that they do under all the adverse and uncertain conditions that they face. Really disappointed after buying a car here. First, I was told a cargo cover would come with my CX30, but after I bought the car I was told it was not standard and I would have to buy it separately. Generally I research as much of this stuff myself before going buying, but because every other car I saw it on was standard, and it was in my vehicle during the test drive, I really didnt think much of it. When I went to go pick up the vehicle, I noticed that the low windshield wiper fluid light was on and the vehicle had less than a quarter tank of gas. That is just not acceptable when buying a 35 thousand dollar vehicle. They also made the purchasing process so painful, as they would not talk to me about pricing on the phone or even in person, unless I wanted to take it home that day. I contacted 4 other Mazda dealers in Florida, and none had a problem with discussing pricing with me over the phone, except this one. The only reason I decided to even go in again to negotiate is because they are much closer, and more convenient, but now I regret not taking the time to go to Lakeland or Brandon, both of which also offered somewhat better deals.Edit: I forgot to mention, they gave me this Westshore Mazda Advantage tag with all these amazing perks of buying a car here, which they said was included (and literally says Look this vehicle features on the front of it). After I bought the car, I was told it was a premium add-on. Really disgusting behavior.

I purchased a Mazda CX-5 about a week ago and had a great buying experience. Abdul was very knowledgeable, professional, and outgoing, and made the process of finding the perfect car easy and enjoyable. My mom is looking to get a CX-5 for her next car, and we will definitely come back to Westshore Mazda and work with Abdul!
Been going to Mazda service since 2016 so I have a good idea on what to expect. I felt very taken advantage of at this location. Arielle did not inform the add ons would take my oil change from 100 dollars to 400. I asked at one point what the total was and was informed that she didn’t have that answer for me as she was going to apply discounts and do my a favor. I did not know the price until I sat down to pay, which put me in a very uncomfortable situation. If you can, go out of your way to a different Mazda dealership that is honest and upfront with their customers.

I just spent the last two hours in a waiting room with no information given to me about my car. I had a very simple cosmetic repair that needed to be done. They were going to check to see if the part was available in house otherwise they would have to order the part and install it. Simple. 2 hours later I haven’t even received a phone call updating me on the process. I walk over to the trailer that they are currently operating in to find out that my car was just taken to the back to get checked out. I’m obviously upset. I ask to receive my vehicle back and while I’m waiting I get to witness an employee quit and walk out. Meanwhile, LITERALLY NO ONE HAD ANY IDEA WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I basically just spent my whole afternoon at dealership for absolutely no reason. This could have been avoided and done over the phone.
Do not trust these people!! We are from out of state and negotiated and finalized the purchase of a Mazda Miata over the course of three days. Our salesman Walter Chavarria and manager Jaafar Harke refused a cash sale and required that we finance the vehicle. We reached an agreement, signed a price and financial agreement and met all of the dealership requirements and our credit was approved. We offered to put down deposit and asked for assurance before we purchased airline tickets and made non refundable hotel reservations and were assured the vehicle was being held and Walter texted:“We don’t do business like that. Like Jafaar had said normally we don’t keep cars. But since you’re taking you’re money and time to come we will for you. I actually have the keys separate already stored away.”The following day we scanned and sent photographs of our airline tickets as requested by Jaafar to assure that the vehicle was being held. This was completed at 3:02pm. However, at 5:32pm Walter sent a text stating that “I just went to grab the car and park it outside, we had a customer come in earlier this afternoon prior to you making a final decision and loved it and decided to buy it.”If it was put aside as Walter assured us, no one could have “come in earlier this afternoon” and “decide to buy it”. So we are out of pocket one-way flights from Louisiana and three nights of nonrefundable hotel rooms, because of the dishonesty of the salesman and his manager. I do not recommend doing business with anyone there!

Didn’t think this location was open because it’s in the process of being built but, IT IS! Probably the quickest, easiest car trade/buy process I’ve ever done. Carlos was extremely helpful and professional. I will be back when it’s time to buy again in the future.
I would never use Westshore Mazda as my car dealer again. They gave you the wrong information about the car to make you buy it. After you purchased the car, there are absolutely zero services. When you call them with an issue, they would say someone else will call you back. However, they never call you back. Pray that your car will never have an issue if you purchase it from here.
I visited the Westshore Mazda Dealership today and wow was I impressed! From the moment I walked in I felt so welcomed. I worked with Abdullah Taman to purchase my brand new 2021 CX5 Grand Touring. Abdullah was such a pleasure to work with and really took the time to answer all of my questions with a tremendous amount of patience. I came in after leaving another dealership (which I had a bad experience at) and had specific numbers in mind which I had to stick with, and he absolutely delivered! With the help of Abdullah and Jaafar Harake, the General Sales Manager, I was able to get into a much higher level car than I had originally came in for, for a lower price than the other dealer had quoted me for a much lower level car! I am so appreciative to both Abdullah and Jaafar! Amazing service, people, and environment! 10/10 would recommend!!
We went to westshore to browse and drive home a 2021 Miata. Carlos was awesome. No pressure very informative and helpful. From start to finish it was the beat car buying experience we have had. Can’t say enough. We have recommended Carlos to our friends who currently own a Mazda
I had the most excellent customer service experience purchasing my first Mazda! I traded my Altima for the CX3 and couldnt be more excited! My experience with Tim Fitzgerald, Rick Haynes, the entire sales and finance teams was beyond first class! They worked their magic to get me the best deal! During signing ( nice man wearing pink shirt who just transferred from VA..I forgot his name but remember his face) everything was explained in detail and all my questions were answered thoroughly! There were no surprises whatsoever because I did my homework ahead of time and visited their website to read up on charges, fees, etc..thank you everyone for a terrific experience and Ill bring those desserts next time! 😁

Has good deals on used cars however the only reason it is not 5 stars is becuase of the mandatory Westshore Advantage add-on for $2000. It feels a bit scammy since when I called they did not mention it until the estimate.
Waste of time!! I would never get a vehicle from this place. Salesperson told us the brand new vehicle was in an accident and the manager called next day to say the vehicle is available for sale. No thanks I do not want a brand new car that has already been in an accident for full price when I can get the same deal elsewhere for one not in an accident.
Great experience for the first time. Our seller was thorough and told us all the details we needed. They made everything super easy for us from financing to registering our car with the insurance. Everyone was so friendly and helpful

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Westshore Mazda’s sales team last week. Our salesman Carlos, was very professional, knowledgeable, and worked well with us to get exactly what we wanted. The team worked diligently to get us our first lease in a Grand Touring MX-5. We love it and recommend them to anyone who is looking for an affordable car with the luxury and style of higher priced luxury imports. They currently are operating in a small portable to the left of the Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler dealership due to the new construction of their building. Be on the lookout, you won’t be disappointed!
