As a first time guest I was pretty impressed. The place was really clean and they make you wash your hands before you get serviced, I thought that was really good. The nail tech was kind and courteous and very efficient with his work. I also had my brows done and the lady I had was very pleasant. It was a great atmosphere and I plan on going back again. I definitely recommend this place.

I went today with 2 girlfriends for pedicures. No waiting. Seated us immediately all next to each other. I had Kim do my pedicure, new acrylic gel nails and eyebrows waxed. As Always Kim did a fantastic job and my hands and feet look spectacular. She and the other staff are very pleasant and professional. I also want to mention the owner had no problem giving my companion a pedicure as well that looked great. I mention this because I dont usually see managers being willing to do pedicures. They usually have one of their employees do them and stick to just nails. That impressed me.. Great Job Nail Country!@

Just went to Nail country to get a Mani-Pedi when I walked in was greeted asked what I wanted done. Was told to go wash my hands did that. The person who greeted me pointed to two ladies at the end. BOTH playing on their phones. None of them stopped or looked up to assist me. Then as I looked flustered was told to have a seat in the pedicure chair. Both of them continued to play on their phones. I simply walked out.. Would not recommend this place!!!

They talked about how rough my feet were but they were rough especially since I had gotten a pedicure 2 weeks prior...but when she was done the swelling from my pregnancy had went down and stayed down for a few days and these little Peggys were just right for sucking lol. Mike and Mickey are a lovely team. They turned me from a peasant to a princess in no time. Atmosphere was perfect almost like I was sitting in the comfort of my own living room. Nail Country does beautiful work when it comes to my nails but they never last I’ve had my nails on for six days and two have already came off maybe they need to try stronger powder or stronger products but this is unacceptable and not right after paying $80 for a full set .

I’ve been going here for years, but today they showed their true colors. I went in for a gel fill & the gentleman cut but gave me a $2 discount on a $49 fill. When I called to speak to management, they accepted his behavior and chastised me. I will no longer be giving them my hard earned money due to unprofessionalism.

Clean process, loved my pedi and overlay services and their color range! My overlay lasts for a long time and they use a new buffer and nail file on each client. Plus, Its never too crowded on Sundays. My new nail place 💖

My first time visiting an the customer service was hectic. No order as you enter or no social distancing between the customer. Upon enter your signing a waiver stating they arent responsible if you catch Covid-19. After that your ask maybe few min later to wash your hands. Which I notice at least few individual behind go use the sink an it wasnt sanitize for the next user. Then I was ask to have a seat on a couch an I didnt feel comfortable because I wasnt sure if the couch had been disinfect so I had my personal wipes. The moral of my review maybe they were just busy an focus. But Just that small visit I dont think I will visit again. Even though Ive saw wonderful work of theirs just was please with the approach of their service.

Nail country has some really good nail technicians, but not all. My first time here was amazing and I really enjoyed my nails but the last couple times I went, they were unsatisfactory. Each time I asked for a specific set of acrylics nails with the same technician. She said she could do them but neither of the last two sets looked like the picture I wanted. She was very nice and they are very quick about getting you into a seat but I was very upset that my nails looked absolutely horrible and far from what I wanted. If you like simple nails with a plain color, any nail tech will do but if you want a design to turn out the same way as a picture, ask for Katie or Cindy.

This is my absolute favorite nail shop, it is now my regular shop for nails and lashes!

They have since expanded and added more massaging pedicure chairs and manicure stations. The polish selection is endless. Added Bonus: You receive an optional refreshing beverage with your service.

First time getting nails done in 20 something years. Went yesterday for a pedicure (which was very nice, no complaints) and got a full set of dipped nails. Not sure if this is what they should look like. ?? The tech was nice but I felt like she was rushing and they are very thick and bumpy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

1st x there. Looking from the side my nails they are lumpy. Some spots the acrylic could have been applied better. Their flat when there should be done natural curve to the nails to make it look more like a natural nail. For$53.00 it sould have been better.

I’m I only put 1 star because I had to. I paid for a beautiful set for it to only start chipping on the same day. I went back the next day to get the colors redone (mind you I have five different colors). The original lady wasn’t there so someone else took me. She takes off all of the colors and then tells me to go find my colors as if I know the exact numbers for the colors...she should’ve found out while they were on my nails. As soon as I get up to find the colors she puts someone who had an appointment in her chair without me knowing. Now I’m standing and everybody is all of a sudden busy and they want me to wait an hour. I leave and come back the next morning and I’m STILL waiting for over an hour so the “manager” can y’all to me. (Now the third day) the original girl randomly walks in and she is able to fix them. I ask the manager to still talk just because the customer service is terrible and she says she can’t give me a discount on my next visit what so ever regardless of everything I been through and she doesn’t care how bad I think her service is. Come to find out, it was the manager who gave me the horrible service and sat someone else in the chair after I wasn’t finished (first chair when you walk in the door). I just hope nobody ever has an issue with their nails because they will rush through it and act like they are doing you a favor by not charging you to fix what they messed up in the first place. A HOT MESS!

I was referred to this location because I heard so many great things. However, I received terrible nail service. Not even 24hrs after getting my nails done one popped completely off. It hasnt been a week and 2 more are about to come off. Its upsetting that now u have to pay less than a week later to have my nails done. Never again!!!

This was my first time at the shop Friday March 6 and I had a horrible experience. The lady that service me, I showed a picture of exactly how I wanted my nails . My nails look nothing like the picture .She was very ruff, made a rude comment about my eyebrows. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. I went in think my nails were gonna come out like the picture and she did what she wanted to do . She didnt even give me the color I ask for she gave me a different color .

I went to the salon a little bit before Halloween October 22 to be exact and 10 days later before of the nails have broken off, one of them I got fixed in Miami.I also got my eyelashes done there and I asked them to do it natural and I had very thick over the top heavy lashes.Definitely was disappointed on the eyelashes and now overly disappointed for my nails

This is my go to spot (actually, my wife hooked me on to this spot) for manicures and pedicures! The owners and staff are friendly and do a great job! The prices are very reasonable. The pedicures (slightly higher price) come with an aweosme foot/calf massage...highly recommend! It can get crowded so I try my best to go in the morning or early afternoon!

I have been coming to nail country and always have an amazing experience with Kim. This last time I came in Vincent (Vinnie) the manager was super rude and RACIST! He offered the 3 white customers bud light, wine, etc but offered me water or soda, I asked for wine like the other customers and he refused me and to all the black customers who ask for even a soda they pour into a cup but for the white customers they gave an entire bottle of bud light to them! I’ll never return!

Theyre an ok shop but at times their customer service skills can be a little poor. But today the tech I had was very nice and she took her time. I believe when theyre busy thats when the customer service becomes poor.

My daughter’s nails looked fine but definitely over priced at $50.

I’ve been going to Nail Country since I moved to Tallahassee in 2017. I heard they were the BEST in Tallahassee. However, the more I came the WORSE their services got! When they are busy their professionalism goes out the window. Today was the LAST STRAW for me. This guy completely ruined my nails. I kept complaining, and he still managed to do a horrible job. At that point I was like “OK” whatever! Then he had the audacity to get an attitude with me. When you’re paying for QUALITY work that’s what you expect, and should not be treated rudely when the server fails to hold up their end of the bargain. Never again.#NewNailShopMePlease

I never go anywhere else to get my nails done. So, when I got nail fungus, I knew exactly where it came from. I was just in the salon and saw my proof... a tech working on a lady who had toenail fungus with an acrylic overlay!!! I know this is how cross contamination occurs... someone like that and not cleaning instruments properly is what has caused me to have nail fungus. Either bring your own instruments or please heed my advice!! Honestly, I really wish I could sue someone about this. You guys lost a really great customer. I will never be back again.

The establishment was welcoming but the service was very crude. The nail technician Justin spoke very little English and was not accommodating at all. I asked for warmer water for both my manicure and pedicure and was grudgingly adjusted. I will not recommend this place despite the decor. I was not pleased

Best nail techs in town! Do not come here if you can’t afford it. You get your money for your buck though! They have an A1 staff and excellent service. My nails last 4-6 weeks. I suggest getting gel polish or gel nail. Mickey is the best! But they all are very talented 😊

These ladies do an awesome job. The only thing that would have made me more comfortable would be if they were a bit more courteous. It was my first time there and wasnt really sure what to do and all they did was point to the keychain of colors and said pick color pick color other than that my nails turned out beautiful for my wedding.

This place is awesome! It is ALWAYS super clean...the owner is sweet and talks to me each time I go there. I was in there before noon and he cleaned so much, was even watering the plants. My nails always come out amazing & they offer the most shellac colors than any other salon Ive been to. They are sweet and if you dont like how your nails came out, you can go back and they will re-do them for you. I will be back!

I waited for more the 45 mins to be seen. 1 lady walked up to me and told me she does not do acrylic nails but someone would be with me. Approximately 5 mins later a lady walked in from the street and sat down in a booth. The pedicure specialist kept looking at me shaking of her, I assumed it was at the length I had been sitting in 1 spot. She saw I was getting aggravated but never attempted to correct the mistake before me walking out.This looked to be a very beautiful place of business but looks can be deceiving.

I literally came in here YESTERDAY! I could tell the lady was rushing through it. I needed a nail fixed and a fill in with gel polish. today...one of my nails broke with little effort and the polish is clipping really bad on two of my other fingers. To the point where the entire gel nail polish is peeling up off the nail. Will not be returning

Their service was fast and everyone was very friendly, but I feel like it was a little overpriced. I left with a new set of acrylic nails, but also with excess acrylic that was left over on the bottom of the nails because the tech either wasnt paying attention or wasnt careful enough to clean it off the bottom of my nails before it cured. I just feel like they were more concerned about getting me out of the chair than actually spending careful time on making sure my nails looked great top and bottom - and it wasnt even very busy when I was in there.

This has always been one of my favorite places to get my nails done but today was awful. I had this older lady that talked to herself in Chinese and was so rough, my cuticles were bleeding. Apparently none of the other workers liked her actions, they told me they were sorry. Now Im going out of town for a conference and my nails arent pretty at all. I will go back but will not allow her to do anything for me.

Terrible experience! While I was getting my nails done, a previous customer came in upset about the customer service and quality of her daughter in laws nails... they just argued with her. Instead of giving this lady a refund for the terrible service and rude comments they made to her daughter in law they just argued with her... it blew my mind at how they lack quality customer service. They over charge customers for gel nails which is what the customer thinks they are getting but instead give them the cheaper alternative but charge the same price. NEVER GOING BACK! There are other places that care about their customers and dont over charge them! I wouldnt even give them any stars at all!!!!

I have been going to Nail Country since I moved to Tallahassee in 2017. However, today I was very disturbed by how rude Anna was while doing my pedicure. I asked for a an extra coat of clear top coat because I am going on a cruise and I know how swimming pools can completely ruin nail polish. When I asked for the extra coat, Anna said No you dont need it! I proceeded to tell her that this is what I wanted and I would appreciate if she just did what I asked. She got very nasty and began speaking very loud to her coworkers in her native language about me. Very unprofessional. Eventually she came and put the top coat on, but it was rushed and not put on correctly. I had planned on spending more money and getting a full set, but after this experience, I refuse to spend another dime in this place. Anna has made it clear that she does what she wants to do with a customers nails/toenails instead of what is asked of her.

This is my favorite nail place in town. They are reasonably priced, the ownership is always really nice, and Ive never had a bad experience. Plus, theyre always packed! The only downside is that the inside is not an upscale salon like a lot of people would want.

A little pricier than where I normally go, but best gel manicure Ive had! The guy was so meticulous and they had such a large selection of colors! Didnt have the best customer service, the guy next to me was being pretty rude to his customer and my guy didnt say a single word the whole time, but my nails look amazing and thats my main concern. Nice salon however they will have you soaking your foot in water for about an hour before they even touch your feet. I had to get up and leave for them to realize how long they left me in the chair.

Went with my friend and I asked do they use nail forms, a guy there told me yes so I picked up my colors and then once I set down the lady asked what I wanted, she then replys saying we dont do that here I then turn and point to the guy and said he said you did, they exchange some words . So she reluctantly got the stuff out, however no nail forms, like how she thought she was going to form my nails without nail forms, she ask about getting nail tips added I told her no I have had bad experience with tips. Anyways I asked her dose she have nail forms and she just said no, so I just said dont worry about it and went to sit down and wait for my friend to get done.

The lady that I had was very rough with my nails and ended up cutting into my skin. My color was switched up and now they do not blend in with eachother. I asked for medium coffins and I got small. There is hair in my nail polish and it’s not my hair. My nails do not look too well now. The prices are high and not what the website says. This was my first time coming here and now my last.

I love the new Nail Country. The renovation to the shop is beautiful, they have all new gel polishes and my manicures have been lasting a solid 3 weeks without any peeling or chipping. I stopped going here for awhile because my manicures wouldnt last more than about 10 days but since theyve renovated everything seems to be way better here! Theyve stepped their game up!

Giving one star because I have to. Came in to get a full set. The minute I walked in the employees were already arguing with a customer about something. When an older Asian woman came up to help me, She sat me down at a sticky work bench with visible dried up juice on the counter with her McDonald’s frapapchino right next to the equipment she used to do my nails. I wasn’t offered a drink at all and she started my nails without asking me anything about the length or shape I wanted. She was extremely rough on my cuticles to the point where they bled when I got home but didn’t seem to notice considering she was just rushing through it. She tried to pressure me into getting gel when I repeatedly said I just wanted polish. Then tried to get me to do a pedicure and eyebrow wax after saying no. After she told me to go wash my hands she had me sit for 10 minutes while she left to go do an eyebrow wax. When she finally came back and finished my nails, they were uneven and there was nail glue all over my skin. Needless to say I will not be returning, nor will the women next to me who was in so much pain from her nail technician that she demanded the nails be taken off and refused to pay, which I should have done as well.

Customer Service has been at an all time low in the last 1-2 years. The overall experience and feel of the salon has gone down hill. Quality of services are unsteady. Sometimes services are good and sometimes they arent.

I’ve never liked this place but it’s my sisters favorite and it was her birthday so i figured i would go anyways, when i first got there the people were friendly and it looked very clean in there. Then i sat down at the table to get my nails done and right away the lady doing them was very rude, and i repeatedly had to tell her that I have a cut on my finger that was right next to my nail and hurt very bad but she kept on hitting it and yanking on it and even ran the drill across it. Now the cut is very infected and swollen and i’m having to go to the doctor for it.

I had the WORST experience ever! My mom and I went in to get our nails done. We both got acrylic with a gel top coat. We got our nails done on a Thursday. A few days later, on Sunday, my nails started spacing out. That next Monday, my pointer finger nail broke so I called to ask if they could fix it with no charge and they said yes. So I went back on Thursday and got the one nail fixed. Now almost a week later, I have two nails broken and all they could tell me is they can fix it. Why? So I have to come back in there again? I even asked if they could replace them with just gel at no charge and the lady told me no. An ABSOLUTE waste of money!!!!! Worst customer service. Oh and for the manager who cant speak English. Way to run an AMERICAN business. These people are a joke. I would definitely give them no stars if it was an option.

The work here is great for the area of Tallahassee however they are RUDE! The busier they are the less professional they are. They really need to work on how they talk to their customers.

This is ridiculous. I had a pretty good day until I walked here to get my nails done more precisely, get my nails screwed. The girl who cut my cuticles too hard, made me great pain, almost cut me blood. Then she painted my nails with regular polish, and in the middle of the work, she said the polish is old and too thick, and poured nail remover in the polish to dilute it. This is how she fix this old maybe expired nail polish for the customer. She continued to put two layers paint plus coat on my nail which is really thick, will never gets dried out. She doesnt do work with patience, feels like she just wants to get it finished as soon as possible. My nail looks really dirty with color residue on the tips and on the cuticles. The surface of the nail looks stupidly thick. It is not even possible for them to dry. They are screwed very easily where is the marks on the surface.Their customer service sucks. When I told maybe the boss lady or the manager, she didnt say sorry to me but told me I will fix it for you. And she used some liquid to remove the residue, and trying to even the surface, which likes putting lipstick on the pig, making me feel really ill.She is not responsible for the poor service her salon girl did for the customer, just told me you cant ask the boy who does your nails before, its not fair for us! I asked her isnt fair for me to get my cuticle cut hurt and get my nail screwed here as a customer?When they damaged my nails, they didnt say any of sorry. they do not care about my feelings at all, didnt even respect their customer. This experience is a total failure, it sucks! I think this is the first of negative review I post anywhere, this damn nail salon really deserves it.

First and last time going there. Theyvare overpriced and all prices are different for every customer. I compared the price of my services with a customer next to me. We received the same service with chrome polish on both nails and toes, but shecalso received a pedicure and the other customer pricecwas cheaper. The tech said I cant compare prices. They were very rude and I will never go back. I decided not to get my toes done.

I came in to get a pedicure, I asked to do a normal polish I had picked out with a gel clear coat on top, which my mother had done numerous times on her fingers. They said okay when I asked and then came down to it, they got ready to apply a normal clear polish and I stopped them and asked are we not able to do that and I had many people asking me what it was that i wanted. They were then telling me they couldnt do it. So then offered to do a gel polish on my toes, but at the full price of 40$ after the fact that it was there mistake they didnt understand me in the first place. Needless they need to work on their English. I am overall disappointed.

I just wanted to get my toes polished and they look terrible . I literally could have done a better job myself . Like its almost funny how bad it is. The polish looks caked on, clumpy, uneven ..all over my cuticles, the guy didnt even file my toenails down, or buff them.. Immediately got them redone somewhere else, didnt pay them

I went in on a Saturday, I dont know if that made a difference. The service was crappy. My nails were uneven & not shaped right. I told her they were not shaped right, were uneven, and that I didnt like them. Like always they suggest that they are right just so they dont have to re-do the nails. She also, was being rough with the skin around my nails. My skin had cuts & scrapes from her nail drill. I told her she was being rough! I snatched them off as soon as I left. Thats just how ugly they were!

They over charged me for the second time and I promise I WILL NEVER return again. They charged me for long nails when my nails were short! When I left there were two nail techs outside and I asked them if my nails were long and they responded short. Smh, never again!
