If you’re in the Tallahassee area, get yourself to Nail Bar. They recently came under new management and they are better than ever. The quality is amazing and the price is reasonable. Staff are friendly and they have about a million and a half colors of everything to pick from (polish, gel, dip, acrylic). I won’t go anywhere else for my acrylics or my gel pedicures. You won’t be disappointed!! They’ll do everything from classic simple nails to complex and elaborate designs.

This is by far my favorite place to go! The staff is super friendly and always do a wonderful job. If you have nail Inspo off of Pinterest, prepare to get exactly what you want! I’ve been coming here regularly for years and won’t ever go to another place. I also brought in some friends yesterday and they even stayed open later for us! I thought that was the nicest thing. If you need your nails done this is definitely the place to go! You won’t regret it.

Perfect Nail Bar.. Oh and yes, they have a bar!! So feel free to get a glass of wine with that pedi. My guy was Brandon, hes wonderful. I got the medium pink and white fingers and pink toes and my sister got blue toes. Its located in the Publix at Lake Ella shopping center on the left hand side where Davids Bridal. My Girlfriends brought me here for my birthday. I dont remember the gentlemans name that did my nails, but I love the way they came out. My girlfriend paid as a gift to me, but I know it was alittle expensive alittle over $50 just for a full set. But I highly recommend this place.

Needed to find a place open early and this was it. Not the best pedicure but also not the worst. Average. Place could use a cleaning and update.

Very clean. Kinda of expensive but worth every penny. I recommend the gel pedicure. They also have this wax’s that makes the bottom of your feet soft like silk. Thank me later ❤️

Went in Jackie Greet and took me right away I normally never like my nails when it’s short but Jackie really made it look natural and good I actually really love my nails. I will be going back again thanks a lot!!!!!

Im kinda disappointed in the Mail bar. My nails are not what I asked for. I wanted pink and white not ombre and theres a lack of communication between the front door attendant and the nail tech. Im not sure if Ill be coming back I might have to find another place I really like the nail bar again my nails are not what I asked for.

I started going to the Nail Bar for waxing services. They are very clean and I feel safe here. They listen to their customers and are very attentive. I go to Lynn to get my nails done. She is amazing! But Ive also witnessed some great work coming from the other techs as well. Lynn always does my nails to perfection, which is tough for me because Im super picky. The Nail Bar has sooooo many different creative options like foils, mattes, color change, duochromes etc. I recommend this place to everyone. Im never disappointed here. Plus, if you need some extra TLC, they have a wonderful bar to help you relax😉

Only place i’ve been to where my nails and toes last more than 2 weeks! I’m here on week three only bc my my nails are too long. I workout and type a lot and I don’t go out of my way to protect my nails either.

Very poor experience here. My pedicure took all of 10 minutes and 4 minutes was me sitting in cold/lukewarm water. My pedicure was extremely rushed. All he did was brush the bottom of my feet with that purple pumice thing and clip my toe nails. I don’t like confrontation so I didn’t speak up but I won’t be returning and I urge you reading to please take your hard earned money ELSEWHERE! I wouldn’t go here if I received a free gift card, that’s how bad it was !!!!

Poor customer service, one lady who works in there her table is table number (3) do not let her service you. Anyway, she messed up my nails but begged for a tip. I went back 2 days later she wanted to paint over my nails at their bar instead of taking me to her area to redo my nails the correct way. She did not listen to me at all, all of my nails were messed up she did not want to redo them. She did not want to take the polish off and re paint my nails she painted over them instead, she has horrible customer service, her and this other young gentleman. Poor customer service I will not give them my money again. And I advise anyone else who would like to get serviced by nail bar (NORTH MONROE).

I usually go to Nail Country but Id been given a gift certificate for this place for my birthday. The technician was rude from the word go, acting like they did not want to be at work that day, and did a poor job. I had to go back to Nail Country a week later and get it re-done.

Went with my mom to get a pedicure. Was told that it would be 15 minutes. A lady named Ann was about to do my pedicure, and I asked for an acrylic over my toe nails she said ok. Well before starting the actual pedi she wanted to do the acrylic 1st, I asked If I could get the pedi first she said ok. She walked off mad speaking another language and never returned. I will not be returning and I would recommend that any of you that has patience and looking for quality work, good communication, punctual service, and someone to be just as patient please dont neither. Their communication really sucked with me as a customer but they kept communicating amongst each other. Its a no for me sis!

My usual nail place was closed so I walked in to Nail Bar. The staff/my technician were very nice, but he did a terrible job. He was a younger guy, seated near the entrance. He didnt fully remove the previous dip I had on my nails and the only nail he was able to remove was my pinky nail which he ripped and put a tip on. He slit about 5 of my fingers with a NAIL FILE which I didnt even know was possible. And he let the gel dry while it was in my cuticles. So now I have cut fingers with black gel in the cuts and all over my cuticles. He also finished my nails in under an hour and normally they take like an hour and a half to do properly. Like I said, really nice guy but he was clearly rushing and didnt care. And I still tipped him, because I didnt realize how bad they were until I left..

I’ve gone here a few times and each time the quality of my nails was not good. The experience of getting my nails done is nice but my nails never last more than a few days. I’ve never had this problem at any other nail salon. I went in to get one fixed and now another one is cracked. I’m not sure if they use cheap acrylics or what but I will not be coming back.

Got a pedi and after drying noticed the polish was bubbled. Informed the lady who did my pedi and she said the polish i chose was thick and old..ok so why didn’t you say so??you just continue with using it. She told me to choose another color and the same thing happened. Will not be going ok. Too pricey to have all this old polish

Ive never written a review about any business before because I understand people can have off days, but this time I feel like I need to share my experience. The nail salon I typically go to was closed yesterday, and a friend told me she loves Nail Bar so my boyfriend and I went to try it. My boyfriend had an absolutely EXCELLENT experience. I dont remember his techs name, but she was an older woman and she was very nice and did an excellent job for him. I had a younger male tech, and I think his name was Lam. He did a good-great job on my pedicure; however, I had a pretty terrible experience with my gel manicure.First, he put the cuticle softener on my hand and then I put my hand in the water for about 15 seconds or less before he took my hand out and started cutting the skin around my finger nails. The skin was not soft yet, so it was quite painful and he went pretty deep. The other nail salon that I go to takes skin from this area as well, but after the skin is soft, and not nearly so much. The other confusing thing he did was when he applied the gel polish he was not careful to avoid painting on my skin or cuticle, and did not try to remove the polish before putting my hand under the light. Once he was finished there was obviously gel polish on my skin and cuticle, so I asked him if there was anything he could do since I was worried it would start to peel after a day or two, and he filed it down slightly and let me go wait for my boyfriend.While waiting I took a closer look and noticed there was still a lot of polish on my cuticle and skin, and mentioned it to my boyfriends nail tech. When she finished up with him she filed it down a little more but was concerned about the polish on my cuticle. She went and talked to my nail tech and said he would fix it. He used a Dremel to remove the polish from my cuticle and applied a new top coat, and I think in the end the gel polish was fixed and will last, but definitely would not have otherwise. The most painful and traumatic part came after he finished the top coat. He brought back the cuticle scissors, which Im not sure was necessary since he had already gone so deep, and my skin was certainly not soft and started clipping again. Unfortunately, I think he looked away for a second and clipped my skin in one spot so bad that I began to bleed quite badly.A day later all of my fingers are sore from all of the skin that was removed, and it is especially painful to get them wet. (picture below) Im pretty surprised that he didnt offer any sort of discount after the whole thing, and maybe I should have asked, but that is not my personality.

I got my nails done about a week ago (fill in/gel polish) & this is the THIRD time my nail has broke...mind you i went back twice almost right after I got it done. On the first trip, i had the gel polish peel off, they fixed it. 2nd trip, two other nails broke, not including the one i just for fixed.& now ANOTHER nail broke. & they expect you to pay for their errors...unfortunately, won’t be turning

Lien (Lynn) is wonderful and so funny! She did the absolute best acrylic/gel nail removal I’ve ever had. My nails look and feel healthy despite having to take all that off and she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She also does an amazing pedicure! Will always come back to this Nail Bar.

This is such a friendly environment, the staff are friendly and very welcoming. My nail technician Brandon was just the best. If you go there I promise you that he will make it worth your time and money. He is also very entertaining! A big plus. I strongly recommend nail bar and lounge.A very satisfied customer.

My nails were horribly done and when I went to the manager he acted as if he didnt see the issue. The gel wasnt cured correctly and the acrylic was very bumpy. I will never go there again.

I told her a pedicure and she lead me to my chair immediately with no wait. The pedicure was the best I’ve ever had, it wasn’t rushed and she also gave me advice on foot treatment and applications to use on my skin. Please go visit Martha at the Nail Bar, she is the Best!!! I am pretty picky about my nails and have had a hard time finding a place that satisfies me. Lap did my nails in ombre coffin style and they were exactly like I wanted. The complimentary 1st drink was nice and 3$ mimosas, you cant beat.

I’ve been going here for a few years and I can honestly say they are not holding the standards they had before. Nowadays I feel like they rush their work and do not take their time. They need to humble themselves and be consistent. They are not horrible but for the amount of money that I’m spending they should definitely take their time.

Ive been coming here for 2 years now since I moved up here. I never really have a bad experience there. The chrome on my nails only lasted a few days before they started to chip this last time I came but I always get chrome coats. A couple months ago, one of the younger staff ladies made my eyebrows uneven and waxed too much off, so theres an older lady whos been fixing my eyebrows and maintaining them for me, shes so sweet and gentle. Jacky is my main go-to for my manicure and pedicure. Hes detail oriented and takes his time to make sure hes doing a great job. Hes also so honest with how a color will look on my complexion. While he was out of the shop, Brandon, the owner, was taking care of me. HE is AMAZING. He has great conversation and makes the best Mojitos. Definitely would recommend, especially with being picky and particular on nail salons.Thank you guys! You all really make each time coming back a better time than the last one.

Very accommodating and friendly, great atmosphere. I highly recommend the Bloody Mary. Pedicure was perfect but the manicure was done too fast and not up to standard. My nails chipped far too easy the very next day with gloves on. I hope to get them redone.

Mimosas and making my feet feel great

Love this place. Always greeted when walking through the door. They do amazing job on my eyebrows and I have never had a problem when any of my acrylic they have done they have always been what I wanted. They give great pedicures, especially the last time I went he took extra good care of me my feet and legs were very swollen due to pregnancy. Been going here for almost a year now.

I’ve never had a bad experience here until today, I basically threw away 45 dollars for my nails to look absolutely horrid. So uneven and most are jagged at the tips. I have cuts everywhere, my service felt rushed. I will gladly be taking my business elsewhere.

Been a regular for over ten years with this shop! Never a dull moment and theres always laughter! Love Brandon and his staff! Very family oriented! My mom looks at Brandon as her own son! Definitely not a racist either! Thats a strong term to just throw around! I know for a fact it is a lie! Provides very good and Grade A quality service!Atmosphere is relaxing and plenty of TVs to catch a show or just kick back with your girls for a cold cocktail!

The pros first: 1. They have Hello Kitty (kiddie chairs, for kids pedicures.) My daughter loves these chairs. 2. There is a lot of nail techs on staff, so the wait is never long. 3. The staff is very friendly and professional. 4. They have an actual bar inside of the salon. If drinking is your thing. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.Now the cons: 1. They rush through the nails and within a couple of days the nails lift. 2. By them rushing, your nails end up all shapes and lengths (they will happily fix this issue.)

I really like this nail bar. Their ambiance is really nicely done. The service is fast, polite and good. They listen. I hate having drills used on my natural nails or any technique that thins them. They listened and didnt try to tell my why I should or shouldnt let them do it. Help with picking colors and all. They are really nice here. Ive been twice for manicures, not yet had a pedi but they seem to keep steady busy there without being over booked or over priced.

The girl who did my nails had an awesome personality--I loved her, but I got the dip with tips added bc my nails are very short. They looked awesome on 5/11 when I got them done, but today 5/14, 2 of the tips just fell off out of nowhere. ☹

They were so rude, staff was unkind and manicure was completely rushed. they refused to fix after i showed them a picture and my nails looked nothing like what i requested.

I have been here three times. The first time was awesome. The second time was ok. Yesterday I met with a friend for fills. We came at 4:16 and choose our color as instructed. More customers came in and we were all sitting in the waiting area. My friend asked when we would be helped twice. They told her to sit. Everyone who came after us was taken ahead of us and after an hour of waiting they said they can only take one of us. There was no waiting list to keep it organized. If they were to busy fine just let me know so I don’t waste my time waiting for nothing.

Came here to get a French pedicure. I explained how I liked my nails done (a certain way that’s a little different) and the nail lady yelled at me when I asked her to fix it after she did the first nail. She got up and walked away and said someone else can do my nails. I ended up just leaving and going to the place across the plaza. Never experienced such a rude lady!

Great staff, the service is awesome, amazing eyelash extensions and my nails actually turn out the way I want them to. They always make sure that youre good before you leave. Been going here for about 6 months, I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I love this place. At first i thought it was going to be rocky because they told me there would be a 30 minute wait. It turned out to be only about 5 to 10 minutes. The tech took her time and the prices are reasonable with the serving of a full bar. I do wish that they would have offered me more than one complimentary drink! I will be back for more pedicures and even a full massage.

Bubbles in polish. Looks terrible. They were unapologetic and told me I had to come back to fix today because my polish wont last 4 days (until my next day off) waste of time and $60!Changing review to two stars because I was asked to change my review by a tech when I went back to get my polish changed. I still had to rearrange my schedule to come back same day as they wouldnt accommodate me coming the next day I was available. Brought my own polish and no bubbles.

Lovely place. They had fresh wine, and a relaxing environment. Not packed for a Friday, but thats a benefit for me because I am on a time crunch. Why 4 stars? I havent had a manicure yet, only a pedi. The true review will be a manicure, but above all, Im feeling happy that Ive found another nail salon. :) hope to return soon.

This the worst pedicure I have ever had. The lady hurt my leg by turning up the cushion that you put you foot on. When turned up vertically it has a ridge that really dug into my leg. She did not use a top coat and as soon as she was finished she collected my bank card for payment and ask me to come up front to put in my code. The polish was not dry and the polish of my right foot was messed up. I went up front and put my code in and left because my leg was throbbing and I paid $25. for the worst pedicure ever. I will never go there again!

Once in the front of nail salon young lady glance at my nails started laughing right in front of me i said thats very rude she said calm down have you drink. I decided order 1 the young lady put me all the way to back. Once she sat me to back guy tech came said moved 2 seats up so i got up again.I explain to tech how i wanted my nails he was looking like what. At that point i gathered my purse and my drink left. This place needs learn professionalism, more schooling for that tech.

The experience was horrible (my first and las time). The team was not polite at all. My service was rushed! I have had pedicures done several times, and I have never had anyone tell me my toes are crooked. They told my friend her feet were bad and skin extremely dry as if she doesn’t wake up to her feet everyday. It was rude as she is already insecure about her feet. Hence, why she gets pedicures. My polish was lumpy and slapped on! I complained and told them I was not satisfied, that’s when the excuses came. I did not have the time to argue about a refund for bad service. When I paid, he laughed! I would never recommend anyone to go here.

The bar and the set up was nice but as a customer i felt rushed. They guy who did my nails did a rushed, mediocre job...he left polish on the skin around my nails and he rushed and filed my nails crooked. I had to ask HIM to remove the excess polish and to refile my nails. Service and execution wasnt worth the money. IT WAS A WATSE OF MONEY. My nails look so mediocre! Like a 5 year old did them... I will definitely not be coming back. $25 down the drain!!!!!

Im appalled by the service at nail bar. The nail techs were so aggressive the entire experience was uncomfortable. I had been to nail bar previously and it was wonderful! I decided to bring four friends and each of them including myself, were treated HORRIFICALLY.I was pushed out of the way twice, while an older woman yelled in my ear what colors I can get and not get. I noticed that they use the same nail pot for each and every customer. They do not change the color dips in between uses. So not only are they aggressive, they are breaking 1,000 health codes and it is apparent after looking around close enough. I found an old orange soda under my chair covered in hair and nail particles.After my friend finished her SNS dip manicure, the color was completely different than the one she picked. The lady responds the dips change colors after time, and after they dry. Mind you, they were too focused on telling me what I could and couldnt do that they did not once mention the changing colors of DIPS. I asked her why no one informed us of that? She responds if she didnt like it she should have said something in the beginning. Obviously we didnt know it was going to change!!!! So after the lady tells me to be quiet and listen (excuse me?!?) she tries to explain how this is our fault and offers a measly 10 dollars off.I plan on reporting nail bar to the better business bureau, and hope justice is served. Im now honestly worried I might get an infection from the color pots that they dont change between customers. Side note - they Also didnt change gloves between customers!!!!!Good riddance mean nail tech who thought I didnt speak the same language.Update: friend went back to fix her nails, they originally just put the wrong color on. Changed the number and everything on the sample to the color she accidentally got. The numbers and nail techs were wrong.

By far the worst experience Ive had in Tallahassee. I normally dont do reviews but it was so bad I had to tell about my experience. I read the reviews before going and I thought that maybe they werent as bad as the reviews was saying, but they are!!!! HORRIBLE customer service, you might as well just do your own nails if this is your last option. They dont even deserve one star! Ive been getting my nails done for over ten years and never had a bad of experience like I did here. Avoid going to this nail salon, they need to learn customer service and how to treat their customers! My nails didnt even turn out the way I wanted them to be.

After reading the terrible reviews I decided to try them out anyway WORST MISTAKE ever!!! Their customer service skills were horrible after showing them the nails I wanted they told me they wouldnt be able to do it and went back to giving their electronic devices their undivided attention didnt try to give me different alternatives. After taking 10-15 minutes to decide my alternative he told me I had to wait an hour I took too long and went back to giving his computer his undivided attention (that was my breaking point) I told him he was rude and his customer service was terrible and I were going somewhere else he smiled and told me to have a nice day.

I went this morning at 9am. He wAs done with my nails literally in thirty minutes. I got a new full set and gel polish. I sat on chair number two. The young man moved extremely fast and hurt!!!! I had gel polish all around my fingers and cuticles. The gel polish looks just thrown on. My nails and cuticles look like one. Lol. I’m laughing but I’m mad. Then I called to speak to the owner who is in chair number one. I know for a fact that Brandon was there because a client just sat in his chair as I was leaving. I was told over the phone that he wasn’t there. Don’t waste your time. I went early in the morning when it was not busy and still got rushed and bad service. This place cost too much for bad service.

If I could give no stars I would! My husband and I went here today for our 6 year anniversary pedicure. Very bad experience! Ive never been to a nail salon where the pedicure is only 15 mins! People who actually were there when we got there were still there when we left still getting their pedicure! Also they gave my husband a older lady to do his pedicure and she refused to scrub his feet! Just a all around bad experience! This will be our first and last time here! We will continue to go to the other Nail Bar! They had a 45 min wait there thats why we ended up at this one! Never again!

I had a HORRIBLE experience. Trung Lam (whatever his name is) was rude and didnt do anything I asked, such as a cut down and extra polish coat. He was rude, took my receipt and walked off. He also rushed on my nails and they are not shaped properly. I will never go back there!!

I usually go to Nail Country, but they were closed due to the holiday. At nail country, I can get a full set, gel polish, designs and gems on every nail and long length(usually stiletto) for around 80-85 dollars. I pay for quality and I just love blingy nails. Nail bar charged me $70 for short “gel” nails with 2 bows as decoration. The gel he used was not real gel polish, just a top coat. He first drilled my cuticles off then picked the rest off with the cuticle cutters. No cuticle remover or anything added to help soften them first. I hate the finished product and will just go get them redone at my normal place on my day off. Such a shame to just throw money away like that.

My daughter and I both had basic pedicures.. no beverages, just basic pedicures and were charged $100! The woman was very friendly, but i would say very over-priced!

Just left from this place and I’m pissed I went there and got a gel full set with short ass nails and got charged 55 dollars for just some regular ass short nails no designs no manicure nothing special just pink polish and I can tell that whoever was doing them was rushing as well worst experience I’ve ever had with nails ever I got ripped off for something so mediocre I definitely won’t be returning back there! I called up and asked how much regular gel full set was and he said 25 but I was charged extra for them removing forms from my nails along with paying extra for coffin shaped and my nails barely look coffin shaped as it is they are super short how in the hell do you go from 25 to 55 even with extra charges? Such a rip off my very first bad experience and very first find not tipping and don’t even feel sorry for it I wish I could post my nails on here for y’all to see.

This place is terrible. It took the man 30 minutes to do a gel manicure and pedicure on me and it wasnt even busy. Its been 3 days and two of my gel nails have already completely peeled off. I would not recommended this place overpriced and super rushed.
