Look at what is considered “move in ready”. Completely disgraceful and unacceptable, especially during Covid. This place was not cleaned at all by staff. Fast forward to 5 messages later, I can’t reach anyone to deal with this matter. I feel as if this complex is taking complete advantage over their college community. Any proper landlord would not dare hand over keys to someone in this condition. To say that I am completely disgusted by the service provided at the TheSocial2700 would be an understatement! My son moved in yesterday while I was stuck home sick in Ft Lauderdale. The pictures he sent me of his “move-in ready “ apartment was deplorable and not fit for anyone to live there. The apartment appears as if it has not been cleaned AT ALL since the last occupant. It was so disgusting that my son could not sleep there last night. Since the moment he walked in, I have called numerous times and have been unable to get anyone other than call center staff.
I’ve lived here for a year and I don’t have any complains. Everyone in the leasing office is very nice and helpful and maintenance does a good job as well. The apartments are pretty basic though it’s not anything luxury but with the price it’s expected. I stayed in a 4x4 and what I loved most was how big the rooms are. I just didn’t like the room I had in particular because it was in the back and had no natural lighting. The apartment overall didn’t really get good natural lighting because of the building’s location (building 14) so it did appear pretty dark in there most of the time. Something I do think should be looked into is the community gate. The gate is always open which is kinda concerning. I would have felt more comfortable if they closed the gate during after hours. Other than that, I enjoyed my time here and parking was never a problem either (lots of parking for guests and residents) People talk down about the social 2700 because it’s “cheap” but honestly it isn’t bad at all.
So far my experience hasn’t been a good one. If I would’ve known it was going to be like this I would’ve never moved here. The online view of the place was a 10/10 in person it’s a 3/10. It was very deceiving to see what I had actually paid for. Not to mention the repairs on my apartment have yet to be completed and I’ve been living here for a month. Even Adams Pointe wasn’t this bad. DO NOT MOVE HERE
The place is okay. Theres a nice pool out back. I like the setup of the apartment. Each person has their own room, and there is lots of space. Plenty of common area space and space in the rooms. The apartment was dirty, though. Also, the place looks nothing like the pictures. Dont believe what you see. I dont live here. I was helping someone move in. This is my review based on initial observations.
I am never one to write reviews, however I lived here the past 6 months and it was nothing but terrible. To start, when I first moved in in January, 2021, the management gave me the wrong lease and I had to sign the correct one days later. Then, when my move in day came up, I went to the office to get my keys and they had NO INFORMATION in their system on me and had no idea I was supposed to move in that day. Along with that, they did not even give notice to my roommates that I was going to move in with them and I had to knock on the door and tell my roommates the day of that I was moving in with them right there (they were obviously not happy about that). In addition, the property is always dirty and run down looking. My lights in my bathroom did not work and no one bothered to to get back to me after I called management. The office workers never know whats going on, and give little to 0 help. They are quick to charge EXPENSIVE fees and my last month of living there they charged me 3 times the usual cost of utilities I usually paid without warning. I do not recommend living here at all. Worst apartment experience Ive ever had. The rent is cheap, but you get what you pay for.
This apartment complex is really awful. Staff is nice, but nothing ever gets done. Maintenance requests take super long, we had the entire roof of our porch collapse leaving a hole into the attic area and they did nothing about it for over a week. They have also lost two of my packages. Furniture/appliances are cheap, and you can find much nicer places in tally for the price.
The worst place I have ever lived. DON’T MOVE HERE. The apartment was disgusting when we got to it, nothing was cleaned. Maintenance didn’t answer half of our requests. The shower ceiling had dust on it, and they literally painted over it. I thought it was mold at first but when we got up there and looked it was literally dust from the vent that they put on the wall. Anytime you try to call with anything the office will never answer, you get sent to an “off sight call center” that doesn’t have answers to anything. I literally don’t even know why they have a job considering they don’t have “access” to any of the in-office worker’s files. All they say is that you can get a call back from the office and then the office never calls back. Our front door rubs against the floor that makes it hard to open and close. It scratches the tile floor and left a big gash from the previous owners. I put in a work order for it, and go figure, it’s not fixed. It’s also dented to h*ll and back from whoever lived there before us. The first day I got there I put in a request to have my bathroom door handle fixed because it was stuck on being locked, they put in a new handle that wouldn’t keep the door shut lol. Ironic. The apartment next to us was so nasty before move in, it had cat/dog poop in the bath tub, trash everywhere, I felt so bad for the people who were supposed to move in, especially since they had drove 6 hours with their parents to come and then open up to that. We didn’t have a neighbor for 6 months, and it wasn’t cleaned but 2 days before new people moved into it. I never leave reviews on anything like ever but I’ve had such a horrible experience here. It’s literally disgusting. Trash will be on the ground all throughout the year, and the dumpster is constantly over flowing with trash bags. I could think of countless more complaints but that’s just the few that are on the top of my head lol.
I lived at The Social 2700 from August of 2020- July 2021. Let me first start by saying: you get what you pay for. You pay for a cheap apartment, you will get a cheap apartment.Move in day rolls around and I had to wait HOURS because my keys were not even made yet. It is August in Florida which means is super hot outside. I finally get inside and the apartment is a disaster. The apartment was not cleaned prior to moving in, it was disgusting. The paint job in the apartment is horrible. There is paint on carpet, ceilings, windows, outlet covers, etc. The buildings and sidewalks also need to be pressure washed very badly. Also they preach a safe community. They really make you believe that too! The gate will be closed for move in weekend and even the first week of classes, just so parents think their kids are safe. Then the gate will be open the rest of the time. Also the area surrounding is very bad. You will hear gun shots at least once a week. A ton of homeless people hang out right outside as well. You pay more for a furnished apartment, but it is terrible quality. There is supposed to be a TV included, but I never had a TV. I asked about it the first few weeks and they said the TV’s were on back order. I asked weeks and months later and they said the same thing. I went my entire lease without a TV. When I asked to be partially reimbursed, they said no.The water pipes in the building are super old and there are constantly leaks. Certain buildings are worse than others of course. Maintenance was great and handles them as best as they can.The office staff was super sweet, but didn’t really know what was going on a lot of the time. Also you can never get ahold of anyone on the phone, you have to go in the office to be heard.(Also there are a ton of fake reviews created by staff member and their friends or family. When there are over ten five star reviews in a row that happen to name drop the same person, its very suspicious.)
After 8 hour drive to arrival destination, the Lease Office was disorganized, staff did not had knowledge with the paperwork. After a long waiting when finally keys were handed and we went to the apartment. It was a total mess, everything was dirty, a very strong mariguana smell all over the apartment. Kitchen is falling apart and dirty. floor dirty bathroom and laundry dirty pieces of furniture missing. No nightstand and desk as offered when renting. Sofa all scratch and dirty. No Maintenance at all. Not recommended. Dont understand how they deliver an apartment in those poor conditions. No respect fat all or tenants.
Absolutely disgusting at move-in. Apparently they skipped over cleaning the apartment before move in. They had a cleaning crew come in and didn’t even clean everything. They took the dishes for our stove burners and just didn’t replace them. We had to go to the office two weeks later after they did nothing and demand that they come fix it. Getting maintenance is a struggle and the staff is incredibly unhelpful.
Should be called The Aquarium at 2700 ! Half of the time I lived here we were underwater. Roof just caved in multiple times, sounds like it’s raining outside but nope just in your apartment. They have trailer park plumbing and low skilled maintenance men whose patch work is equivalent to a kindergartner trying to put a puzzle together. When you move out, they try to charge you crazy fees on things THEY failed to fix or renovate. The environment is horrible (gun shots) and no security! The gates will only work on the day of move in (maybe a week after) and never again until the next move in :) ! The photos attached are how I found my apartment when I got back from vacation which still took them a week to fix. They are money hungry and careless. I wouldn’t recommend a rat to live here.
There were a few concerns initially. However, the staff rectified the concerns upon hearing what they were. Overall, the experience was awesome.
After a 7 hr drive coming from South Florida we checked in and we were given the key to the apartment only to find someone else’s trash and some belongings inside the dirty apartment. We gave a complain about the apartment being dirty only to be told to wait until the cleaning people could come. However, they never showed up and we had to clean the apartment ourselves. Oh what a mess, the sinks and bathtub were clogged, the kitchen was greasy and dirty. The fridge still had food inside and was dirty as well. The lightbulbs barely gave any light, the ceiling fans were full of dust as if they had never been cleaned before. We were hoping to get here and get settled with our stuff but no we had to do a deep cleaning and then begin unpacking after a 6 hr deep cleaning. It is really bad since when you give an apartment to a tenant it should be cleaned and in good conditions. The washer barely fits any clothes.
After a complicated move in experience and dealing with multiple issues both Javon and Marty stepped up to handle it. They both made sure to stick by the word and handle any maintenance issues as soon they could. Even in my old apartment they both made sure to tend to any of my problems that I had. Staying here at the social 2700 has not always been pleasant but knowing I can rely on them has made it easier.
Move in experience was horrendous. Not enough staff to check people in. The room which was supposed to be ready was not cleaned, the furniture was destroyed or missing, nothing was painted, the carpeting looks like a crime scene and there were numerous cockroaches that I had to kill in my daughters room. Plumbing is leaking in multiple bathrooms. I could go one and on. Day 2 of this nightmare and no work is being done to remedy the problem. Of course the August rent has already been deducted from my checking account. This situation needs to be fixed immediately as I fly home tomorrow and I can’t leave my child in this distrusting environment. Terribly disappointed in the Social 2700!
UPDATE: I’m editing my review from 1 star to 3. It is still true that there were several major issues wrong with the unit when I moved in and these issues caused major inconveniences and should have been corrected prior to me moving in. It’s also true that it is near impossible to get ahold of anyone or submit a work order. However after being extremely persistent for 2 solid weeks I was able to have Marty the maintenance representative visit my unit to complete many of the repairs. He was empathetic, treated me with respect, treated each request as a high priority urgent and important issue, and professionally worked to resolve many of my concerns as follows all in one day while it was storming outside. This man deserves a raise, and the complex should hire more maintenance personnel during peek seasons like move in week.Completed work:1) Replaced the old refrigerator with a new one - it is operating now.2) Repaired the stove burner grates - they fit properly now.3) Corrected the oven tilt issue - the oven is now in its wall brace.4) Identified and corrected an issue with the garbage disposal - it works properly now.5) Replaced broken cabinet/drawer pulls in kitchen - the drawers work properly now.6) Replaced the old bed with a new one - the drawers on the left side now function correctly.7) Found screws and secured the light fixture to the ceiling - the light is safely secured.8) Invited a Century Link Representative to come by to correct the internet - the WiFi works now.9) New blinds were installed to replace the broken ones - the privacy issue has been corrected.10) Dinning table legs were secured - table no longer tilts.Remaining concerns:1) Sofa cushions and arms need to be replaced as the polyurethane is peeling severely - Marty mentioned these were back orders and my sofa will be replaced once more arrive.2) Linoleum needs to be replaced as it is torn sharp and jagged - Marty explained this is on back order and will be scheduled to be replaced soon.3) The GFCI outlet was installed in the bathroom but power still does not flow to the receptacle - Marty tried his best but said an electrician will need to come repair it instead.4) Cabinet and counters peeling - Marty mentioned this is an easy fix for him with some glue however due to time and priority of items we were not able to address that yesterday.5)AC Filter needs replacing - Due to priority we were not able to address that. It’s important to point out that during move in week with staff was stressed and processes were inefficient and disorganized causing extreme delays for moving in. Some (not all) staff had attitudes and no patience. Most however were professional. I did notice roaches, spiders, gnats, and flies, however the property said they offer free pest control and I will be using that service. My final tip to other would be renters is do not believe the photos online as no unit will look like those staged photos. Instead make sure you document all of your concerns with pictures and emails and stay persistent to ensure you are getting what you pay for. If the remaining work orders are completed I may increase my feedback rating but at the moment I feel like the property is still a three star property because as new renters, we should not be responsible for the damage caused by the previous renters. Those issues should be addressed prior to the new renter moving in.
There was a maintenance issue at move-in but the crew, including Javon and Marty, were extremely competent and friendly. Check-in went well too.
When I toured this place it was great, the ambience was calm and the staff was extremely helpful, especially Kayla who helped with my whole application process and informed me a lot about the area. She is super sweet and nice, thank you so much Kayla for your help!
Hello! Ive never been here before but im currently student home searching for the near future. me and my cousin want to live together while in college and we thought this would be the best opportunity! :) i was wondering the prices for a 2 bedroom! lowest and highest prices. Thank you!
Had to place maintenance requests every week as each new issue would arise. Roof caved in at my apartment as well; problem never got fully resolved. At the end of my stay, I was arbitrarily charged for losing my key card while others werent for the same reason.
I am the parent my daughter was schedule to move in between 9 and 10 a.m. when she got there they didnt have a key for the united they had her assigned to she had to wait four hours before they gave her a key to the apartment. It was obviously that no one had inspected this room before leasing it out again. They obviously dont care about cleanest with covid because there was stuff in there from the previous attendance there was stuff underneath the sofa seats seat the bathroom wall needed cleaning had some type of stain on the walls the closet doors are broken the window blinds are broken the balcony door looks like someone try to kick it in. And the area manager was there who seems to have an attitude because we had so many issues when she should have been focusing solving the problem. They should have not assign anyone to the apartment if it wasnt ready to be a lease. One star rating is too high should be a zero very disappointed..
The maintenance staff makes it worth living here. They are phenomenal. Marty (in maintenance) has gone above and beyond to resolve my inquiries. He has great customer service and is extremely respectful to residents.
Javon Ferguson and Marty was tremendous and a very big help to me and my roommate.
I have lived in 4 different apartments in Tallahassee and this is by far the worse. On move in day, my keys weren’t even made . When I was finally able to get into the apartment, the fridge and cabinets were filled with the previous tenants items. Everything in my apartment has broken down at some point - dryer, toilet, kitchen sink, and AC. Not to mention, my bedroom and laundry closet doors don’t even fit properly. I have to call the front office at least 2-3 times to ensure that my request(s) are even being considered. Getting a call back is nearly impossible .Front desk employees never have answers and managers seem to conveniently be on a lunch break (every time) when asked for. As I’m typing this, my apartment is nearly 90 degrees. Why? Because my AC hasn’t been properly working in months. They love to say, “don’t hesitate to give us a call or email” and yet I can’t seem to get through. Maintenance has been to my apartment so many times, at one point, they decided to leave there own cell phone numbers.
The most professional agent, Kayla, I’ve came across. We connected which made me feel comfortable and eager to learn more about the property. Will be signing soon !!!
The tour was Amazing! Our tour guide Kayla was on point. Super honest, and professional. Definitely considering to move in here.
My daughter was scheduled to move in on 8/20/2019. However, when we got there checked in, got the keys and went to the apartment we was very disappointed. The apartment was filthy! The refrigerator and freezer was full of old food and smelly. Bags of trash everywhere, on the floor inside and on the kitchen counters. Trash was also on the porch and balcony along with broken chairs and beer bottles. The place was disgusting. I couldn’t believe I had driven over 6 hour prepared for her to move in and couldn’t. It was unbelievable and I have images to support everything stated.
An amazing atmosphere! My tour guide (Kayla) was very hospitable and informative. Can’t wait to call this home!
I have had good experiences where maintenance responded quickly, were nice, and my issues got handled, but that has been a small percentage of the time. Very unresponsive. We have had a leak in our ceiling 4 separate occasions, one time it didn’t get responded to for 2 weeks and we just had a cooler sitting collecting the water. When maintenance did come they busted open our ceiling and did a terrible job putting it back together, decorating a lot of our belongings with paint along the way. If you have to go to the office to request someone, hopefully you get Z or someone who cares to respond to your issue, because most of the time they will just say they are going to get back to you and never do. When we had no issues, I liked the place and thought it was a fair price for how big of a unit it is (I have the townhome). When you have issues, it is a terrible experience trying to get them resolve them.
The staff it is absolutely wonderful. They help me in a time of need..my son was having a seizure in his apartment and I was 45 minutes away! As 911 was dispatching to the apartment the maintenance man went up to check on my son and to make sure that he was conscious! They also called 911 and 911 walked them through the process to help him as he was seizing. I am so thankful for this staff for helping my son! I am also grateful for the people that stayed on the phone with me as I was driving to make sure he was OK! They truly care about the people living here and will be willing to help at any cost!
I have been apartment hunting for the longest and with covid precautions still in effect I am glad i was able to get a physical tour from the leasing agent Mr. Cooper. Im moving out soon and they were so organized and helped me realized things I should need with in my own apartment.P.S. they had snacks at the end.
The move in process with our unit has hit a few snags but the maintenance people have been SUPER helpful! Marty and Javon have been awesome with helping us with the problems in our unit.
Javon F. Was a very very helpful person.
Horrible staff. They loose your packages & I moved in my apartment and I had a roommate and she didn’t know I was coming & they were having leaking issues in the ceiling before i moved in. Nobody said anything. Thru my whole lease I had to deal with plumbing issues and ceiling leaks which caused mold . I have plenty of pictures of my ceiling being my left open and per code enforcement no one should live in a open ceiling especially with mold there) and water leaking on my belongs while I was at work or home because they could never seem to fix the issue. The maintenance people are horrible & Lazy. I do not recommend staying there. This was going on for the duration of my lease & they wouldn’t offer a new unit or prorated rent.
I just want to commend Leonard and Andre for making sure my work orders are not only done correctly but promptly. Some of the best maintenance members I have ever had.
I had Kayla as my agent and she was very engaging. Hope she’s my agent when I apply.
Maintenance was horrible. I had my sink fixed twice and my third work order was ignored; I still ended up with a leaking sink and a puddle of water under my sink. The maintenance people take their time depending on what it is whether marked as an emergency or not.
The move in experience was quick and helpful, they were very hands on with having everything organized in a professional manner. Especially Quin, he was one that helped me with move in and enjoyed the professionalism he upheld. The community is interestingly quiet and nice to live.
We enjoyed our time touring at The Social. When we toured the office staff was very nice and friendly. Arielle and Alexis was very helpful.
The maintenance and upkeep of these apartments are horrible the plumbing on all these apartments and townhouses are horrible. Told them I suspected mold while I live here with my child and it took me and my room and me to call code enforcement who did t do anything btw for them to do something but all they did was plug up a fan to dry water from ceiling like that is going to help anything. Things are not replaced just either over looked or only fix one part of it. I moved In and no one told me I had a roommate until I moved in then no one told me that these townhouses have plumping issues and since I’ve been here I’ve had leaking issues as well. Would not recommend to stay here especially with a child.
I highly do not recommend this place. Left the apartment in a better condition than it was given to my roommate and I which had appliances and furniture that was either dated, not working or broken. The lack of care that was shown when we had a recent mold issue made the decision for us to move out even easier. My roommate and I did not feel safe while living there! Do not be fooled by the tour of the model apartment as the apartments does not reflect what was shown. Be prepared for the occasional mold issues and unexpected charges if you still decide this is the place for you. As I said before, I highly do not recommend this place!!
NOT EVEN ONE STAR. This place is awful. When I first moved in, the main door was unlocked, it was dirty inside (not move in ready). Lazy maintenance, or more like they dont care about their job. Management are unprofessional and dont meet the needs of their residence, more like they dont care. They also dont honor the roommate matching, they blame it on the applicants for lying. DO NOT MOVE HERE IT WILL BE A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I am graciously giving two stars due to the fact that the actual office staff and turning crew were quite helpful, however the actual apartment and maintenance fall short in every possible way. Since move-in day (August 21st, 2020), my freshman year has been a disaster with The Social 2700. Not only was my initial apartment absolutely filthy, there were remnants of smoke all over the apartment when I SPECIFICALLY requested a smoke-free room due to my serious allergy. After waiting hours in the sweltering heat, I was finally put in a unit--different from the model in which I had initially requested, but after hours of waiting I just accepted it. And they are still charging me the more expensive amount for the unit I was supposed to be in in the first place! Almost a week in, I have already been met with several issues. I was locked in my room for an hour because my bottom knob had been broken and painted over! Maintenance came and said they would replace it the next day, but never did! The apartment itself has water damage in almost every common area, and the upstairs AC is a hit or miss. Not even two days after move-in, my kitten has fleas, despite being an entirely INDOOR cat! The parcel room doorknob is BROKEN and we had to BREAK IN to even get my packages! Do NOT rent from The Social 2700 if you expect a clean, organised, and SAFE environment. I can not WAIT for my lease to be up.
While move in day was a bit much the staff is exceptional. They accept where they fell short and go above and beyond to fix any and every issue. I had some issues when moving in because there were already roommates in my apartment but they sent cleaners in immediately to clean all of the common area, and got me situated. They even came back to check on me to make sure I was okay. They were very nice and were doing there best to help everyone . A lot of people showed up before there time zones witch caused a HUGE cluster. I look forward to the rest of the year here !! Building 8 is where it’s at !!!
Arielle Walker assisted us with a tour and was really helpful and very informative. I appreciate her patience with answering all of our questions
Mr. Quin Kelley was very helpful. He stayed after hours To help me move in. Great customer service. Love my new apartment!
The Social 2700 is a great place to live. Great management! They are very helpful, and I love my apartment!
This is place is great, the energy when you walk through the door is infectious, and our tour guide Arielle was the sweetest person, definitely gave us the best experience, thank you.
The management change has been horrendous. My best friends roof got rained in on and they dealt with the situation horribly, at first not even answering the phone and admitting to avoiding not answering the phone on the day of this incident. They have horrible customer service skills and make things so impossible. They charged me for things that the previous tenant did and were just overall horrible.
Dont Live at this place the leasing office is filled with scammers that charge you for things that are out of your control upon move out. Theyre charging $300+ just so they can repaint the room after living there for 2 years. I could understand if it was a result of a tenant ruining the paint however, thats not the case. Every month the rent is incorrect and i have charges that are incorrect. The property manager has a habit forgetting to fix the issues with billing. The nightlife here is horrible, if you want to see the local police department every other night stay here. Or if you love the sound of gunshots while you sleep this is the place for you. if you can look past all of that this place is lovely once you get past the black mold growing everywhere. If youre tempted to stay here please dont. Look past the fake reviews they have up from the incentives they give residents and stay somewhere else.
By far the worst, most dangerous (neighborhood-wise and things neglected by management), filthiest, most run-down, slapped together...... honestly words cannot describe it. Just dont. Dont trust anything you see, or hear. Id rather you email me personally to ask and see my apartment before you risk any of your children or yourself living here. I figured it wouldnt be too bad since I defend myself and fix things myself anyways, but this is...... This is unfathomable.
Last week when I came into the office for a tour, Mr. Terrell Nelson was awesome. He treated myself and mom so well. He was fully aware of the property and answered every question my mom had with great pleasure. We thank Terrell for his great customer service. We need more individuals like that in the world.
Nice friendly place
I found out about The Social 2700 through Terrell. He was one of the vendors today at Set Friday (at Florida A&M University). I was just looking for somewhere to stay off campus next semester and he was so very polite, informative, and kind. I truly appreciated him and look forward to moving in soon!
Terrell Nelson was amazing. He was super attentive to my needs and answered all of my questions. He was extremely friendly and welcoming. By far the BEST tour I have ever been on. Thank you so much Terrell!!!!
Do not live here they are scammers they double charged me on rent and took 2 weeks to fix it and then made me pay 185 in late fees even through they emailed me that I wouldnt have to. Then when I tried to email them to see if they could cut it in half they completely ignored the email and never even responded. They do not care about their residents and only want money no matter how they get it.
Nice place. I love it here so far
I cannot stress enough how horrible this apartment complex is. My roommate had to completely deep clean our apartment when she arrived. The apartment looked NOTHING like the model we toured, and we were missing hard-wood floors and the TV. The carpets are stained with who knows what and have never been cleaned despite our complaints. We have always had bugs and frogs get into the apartment because both of the doors are broken and do not shut all the way. They have never done anything to fix it despite our complaints. Also, they are always losing keys and not giving you the right ones! I cant tell you how many times weve had to change the locks and make new keys for our door and our mailbox because the staff would lose them or give us the wrong ones. Ive also had my mailbox broken into, and the Social 2700 did nothing to fix it or seek out who broke in. Every time my roommate and I have ever had an issue, the staff were incredibly unhelpful and rude. The lack of security is appalling, as the gate is ALWAYS open. The complex is located in a dangerous area of Tallahassee and right across the street from a homeless shelter. I was once chased into my apartment by a woman who had come into the complex. She screamed and threatened to hurt me and I had to hide and call the police. We have never felt safe living this apartment.DO NOT LIVE HERE.
When I first moved in, my assigned apartment door was locked. Then I went to the office and explain the situation, the PM told me he had mis-assigned my apartment thou I was a female due to my name and reassigned me to an empty apartment for a temporary time as he needs time to search for an new room for me. Three months later, he was able to located the a new room for me and the room was horrible... as there are some serious maintenances happened in the room and easily discovered. Well, I wasnt a picky person and takes couple pictures of the current room and called for a day. I would said one thing, the staffs are helpful when you talk them.Moved out:I had moves out of apartment in May of 2020 and continued pay rent until July. Then in August I received bill from them for 750+ for unauthorized pet (cat food at living room counter for Humane Society after friends cat doesnt like it ) and replaced carpet. I called the office and they told me they are no longer responsible for it and ask me to call the central billing team. I contacted the billing team and they told me they charge me because of the cat food at the counter. I told them I dont have any pet and my ex roommate is willing to witness that if they need proof(I used the roommate match service they provide) but they are unwilling to accept an verbal witness statement from my ex roommate. So I asked my ex room mate to write a statement and forward to me so I can send it to them. While I send the statement from my ex roommate, I also send in the pictures for the carpets in the room that I had taken for the other part of the charge. By the way, they have charge my ex roommate for unauthorize pet too after I send the email. Now Im waiting for them to response and will update this post once I get feedbacks from them.... so far, this moved out experience have been horrible.I had reach out to the Trinity Feedback about a weeks ago and no one have response to my email. And my ex roommate had his charge removed when he contact the office.
At the complex I scheduled a tour and it was amazing. Azhariyha Vaughan is stupendous. She has probably the been the best leasing agent I’ve ever met. I suggest people to come take a look and sign up!
I signed a lease with this company the social 2700 managed by trinity properties. I will be posting images when I can print and access all the documents to prove what i am saying. Using their resident portal in an attempt to make a payment using echeck. three days later I get an email explaining it was unable to locate my acct. and upon further research found a non sufficient fund charge on my acct. upon callin the number provided on the website they told me that I didnt have enough funds in my acct. if they werent even able to locate the acct how would they know i didnt have enough funds to pay? upon further instruction from one of their receptionist I provided bank statements to the company to prove that I did have enough funds. I then got an email finally from the property manager (the only time in my numerous attempts that I have succesfully reached him) explaining basically why i got the nsf fee. so obviously he didnt review the situation or was just strugging me off because the email didnt actual adress any of the issues at hand. I have tried to reach trinity and the social 2700 on almost every of the numbers they list and the only place that answers is their property customer service which doesnt handle anything with billing or much of anything. also they have no ability to forward me directly to anyone and just take my name and number down and submit a request. I have had atleast 2 submitted for me with no response. it is now one day before scheduled move in and due payment and I am not in town and have no way of getting the payment to them although i have been trying for almost two weeks to no avail. the only reviews on here from what I have seen that are positive are that of those who just visted the place and were shown around. I have tried calling the number they have provided on their reviews on here and all it says is all circuits are being used. it doesnt even ring. this place is very sketchy to say the least
The staff was so helpful in getting my son and a friend of his set up with an apartment. They worked with us all the way to get everything done timely and accurately. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Jason M. made the process so easy. Routinely called for follow-ups to ensure the moving process was smooth. The apartment was not picture perfect when we moved in BUT Ceasar and the team quickly handle everything and took accountability. The staff is very professional and I am happy with the complex and my stay thus far.Update: Two years have passed and I still stay at The Social. Realistically, the only reason I am here is because of the location (close to work and school) and the affordable price. Since moving here management within the office has changed, but not for the better. The employees in the office can do a better job at relaying information clearly and concisely to residents and make sure the inform they are giving to residents is correct. Moreover, the office needs to improve on correcting discrepancies in a timely manner. Also, do not get fooled when they say gated community, as the gate is always open. Finally, while picking up after a pet is the residents’ responsibility, management should do better in replacing trashing bags in the trash cans and enforce the rules to where residents are held accountable.
Our experience while learning about The Social 2700 and touring was amazing, from the phone to in person, we experienced AMAZING customer service. Tiara went above and beyond in answering all of our questions, she was super knowledgeable and very friendly. She insured us that she would help us every step of the way and would be available to answer any questions that arise. She provided EXCELLENT customer service that made us feel at home even on the tour. We could not have asked for a better experience while looking for an apartment.
I came in for a tour and Terrell Nelson was excellent. He was kind, gentle and patient with me. He definitely made me feel at home and was very knowledgeable on the property.
I am a parent of a resident at The Social 2700. Upon signing a lease, I was hesitant moving my daughter off campus due to previous roommate experience. However, the after touring with Amberly, she made our family feel right at home. She was very knowledgeable of the area and answered my many questions regarding the community, amenities and security. I am very thankful for the friendly office staff and diligence in making my daughter and her friends feel right at home.
My service when I toured Social 2700 was excellent. I was assisted by Nyeja, who was extremely nice and helpful when viewing the apartment. I am planning to move-in in the fall. I appreciate the service and help. Thank you
Terrell Nelson served so well today at FAMU! He presented himself so well and gave us great joy. He definitely appreciates his job and showcases great customer service! You rock Terrell
Terrell Nelson showcased excellent customer service while serving at FAMU this morning. His smile was warm and definitely made me consider a stay here. Great work Terrell!
Azhariyha Vaughan was very helpful and articulate. She was a very captivating leasing agent who helped me make my decision towards moving in to the social and I would recommend her to my friends if asked.
I loved The social 2700 so much! A’zhariyha V. was very bubbly and made my day. She also gave my dad and I a very informational tour causing us to fall in love with the complex.
I’ve enjoyed my time here at 2700. My apartment was really spacious and I got paired with a responsible roommate, we ended up getting along really well. Jason was especially helpful every time I came into the office and needed assistance. I would highly recommend this apartment complex.
Initially when moving from the dorms, to an apartment off campus I was terrified. After taking the tour I was impressed by the property and was pleased by the staff in the office. Big ups to Tiara for the information she provided. She was filled with much energy and answered all the questions I’d ask.
Terrell Nelson was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable of the property and also offered reasonable suggestions for the price range given to him.
Honestly I think Villa Del Lago is a great place to live. Its near the colleges which is a plus. The staff are very helpful and will work with you. They put a lot of effort into making living here peaceful and fun. Ive had a great experience so far. The only thing I recommend is placing a gate around the apartments due to the fact that we are right next to a homeless shelter, But other than that all is well at Villa Del Lago!
I recently came to Tallahassee to tour a few sites and the Social 2700 is now at the top of my list! The property looks extremely clean, with an amazing gym, pool and other great amenities. The property manger Cesar was AMAZING in taking the time to speak with me personally and happily answer all my questions!
This place is an awesome living area for young adults. I had personal experience with an employee named “Gaby” and she helped me with everything i needed. All the questions i asked she had an answer for! Great employees and i would definitely recommend to my friends to live here!
I had the best experience with Lou. He was very respectable and very funny. He answered all of our questions and showed us the nice model room. I loved taking the tour with him and would love to eventually sign my lease with him! Looking forward to doing some business with him!
Amazing customer service! I met Tiara, who explained everything in great detail and answered my questions. It was evident that she was extremely knowledgeable about The Social! Thanks for your help Tiara.
The apartment complex is great! Mazi was very professional and informative, he answered all the questions I had and then some. I was not even aware of all the amenities that came with being a resident. He also showed me around the property and the floor plan I was interested in. The service alone is enough to make me consider signing a lease here.
This place is very deceiving! Save your money! Today was move in day and I was completely disgusted! First off, my apartment number was changed 2 days before moving in and I was not notified by anyone, luckily I checked the Residential Portal App so that I could locate my apartment before moving in. When I saw that I was relocated, I called the office to see if I could have my new roommate’s contact information, but the response was “There is no roommate on file for you.” I was also told that no one would have access to the apartment before moving in. As I opened my apartment door, I was immediately in disgust. There were dishes in the sink, the stove was nasty, the carpet was stained, there was cover on the chair, there was trash, insects on the counter, things such as linen falling out of the closet, and many other nasty things. It was displayed as if someone had been living there. I was in so much shock that I did not proceed to going upstairs, instead I immediately went back to check in to file a complaint about the filth. Their excuse was that some of their cleaning staff had quit and they were not notified until last night. Honestly, it looked like my roommate had been living there. One guy offered to check the place out along with my mother and I. So, we went back to the apartment and my mother took pictures & videos of everything. This time I went upstairs to check out the bedroom and bathroom. Let’s just say $593 plus utilities for a 2/2.5 here is not worth it! The closet is very spaceless! You can barely turn around in the bathroom. The bed is a full size and it takes up majority of the room! My dorm room on campus was bigger. The room and bathroom that they show you is false advertising! Not to mention another parent and resident was complaining about similar things during move in and they were asked to return their keys. I didn’t not move in because it is not worth the amount we are asked to pay. Save your money!
I came into town to potentially look at future homes and I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and cleanliness around the property at 2700. I took it to an absolutely fell in love with the pool and the gym that they have on site the property manager Cesar was amazing.. he made me so excited to move in and jump in that really pretty pool thank you so much this and for all your help and I think I’ve made the best decision go Noles!!!
Unfortunately after taking another tour of the complex & reading these reviews once again, I can agree with some of the negative feedback given by the people who is so unfortunate to lease from here. During my second tour I asked some of the residents about the complex & the responses were not positive. Roaches & the pictures of the complex being deceiving was brought up. Good thing I spoke with these individuals before leasing because I want my first time living off campus to be a great experience.Remember, look around & ask questions, it’ll save you in the long run.
Really wanted to applaud the customer service I received from Nyeja Warner she was patient and very attentive when dealing with my case.
Pretty cool place to live, loved the environment and everything but the customer service aspect of it is piss poor. I was in a furnished apartment, which is supposed to come with a 40 TV in our apartment (and was listed on our lease) my roommates and I went through our ENTIRE year lease without ever getting a TV. Every time one of us went to the office to ask about it, the answer we received was always along the lines of Oh we just switched companies so well have to add you to a list. We were never reimbursed for the cost a tv we never received and on top of that we had to pay for paint when we moved out when the apartment which wasnt even painted when we moved in to begin with.Along with all of this when I first moved in (last Aug) I paid using a huge money order with the amount of over a thousand dollars which was supposed to last me though Jan the following year. When Nov came around my account was charged for rent along with the normal late fee of $50 after 3 days and another late fee of $10/day after that because the office LOST MY MONEY ORDER, luckily I had the receipt and was able to track the order, it was cashed though The Social 2700. After giving up with speaking to the associates in the office over several times I emailed the assistant manager - she was no help either and actually stop replying to my emails (my account balance was now almost $2,000). My issue was only resolved once I contacted the property manager, but even that took a few days.If youre thinking about moving here put it at the bottom of your list. Make sure you get EVERYTHING that your lease says youre gonna get and keep track of what you pay as well, even then I wouldnt live here again if they paid me to. Would give it 0 stars if I could.
Terrell Nelson served really well this morning at FAMU! Thank you Terrell for being knowledgeable and showing us this amazing property!
I loved it!! Nyeja gave me a tour and I’m so happy she did! She was so enthusiastic and kind, she made me love it 10x more!
The Social 2700 is a great away from home place for students. I will never forget Amberly and the friendly leadership she provided me and my family with. Her knowledge about the complex was second to none. Thank you for your help in choosing the right home for our daughter.
I honestly enjoy my stay here at VDLFor the most part its quiet and peaceful. I just like the setup of the inside of my apartment. I stay in a townhouse here and it really gives me a home-like feel. Its honestly a great deal for a great price. The management are super cool, they make you feel welcomed, Ive been greeted by name on numerous occasions. They try like many collier companies to keep the neighborhood involved by keeping us up-to-date.Also any time I reported a maintenance issue or work order they came promptly within one-three business days (mainly the day of if they arent busy or the following day) I can tell the managers really care about the environment and are working to improve the apartments and neighborhood. The main thing I brag on is the friendly staff.Yes there is a homeless shelter across the street you can hear them if you stay in the front(as I do), but Im a witness to the staff doing a great job with making sure theyre not trespassing. One thing they could do to improve is keeping the lawn and parking area clean from like tree residue and rocks. But overall I give this place a thumbs up!
This place seems amazing! The floor plans are really nice and spacious. Amalie gave me a tour and was an absolute joy and answered all the questions I had. She was telling me things about the apartment that even I forgot to ask! I’m really excited to live here in the fall!
Nyeja was such a great help! She gave a lot of good information on the tour. I look forward to leasing with you all!
I would definitely move here. My Sorority sister Tiara Byrd recommended it to me. This place is beautiful and looks well kept.
Living at The Social 2700 started off rocky, but meeting Amberly Williams in the office was something that I really am thankful for. Amberly went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. She assisted me with an issue I had with my apartment as well as my account. Shes very professional and sweet and make sure the job gets done.
I moved in February of 2016 and the leasing staff was very helpful with accommodating my stay. They helped me with a speedy move in as it was very spare of the moment. They made sure I had everything I needed and if I wanted something fixed it got fixed the day of because the leasing team and maintenance team it just that awesome. This is the most friendliest staff I have ever encountered in a leasing office. I suggest this place to any one looking for 2/2s and 4/4s.
This place us absolutely amazing. I was looking for a nice place to move to and was still undecided, until I came here. Ahtiana the lease agent was so sweet and very helpful in finding me the perfect apartment. I cant wait to live here. The staff was great!!!!!!!
Last weeks I went to tour the social 2700 and a very nice woman named Nyeja was my tour guide . During the tour She answered all of my questions and concerns and was very kind during the process .Nyeja definitely had great customer service and I truly appreciate her . I’m looking forward to moving in soon. .
Nyeja was great! Gave me a very professional tour and she answered every question I had as best as she could with much info! Definitely ask for Nyeja when touring!!
FAMU for sure received a light this morning.Terrell Nelson served very well on the set and as an employee on campus, he is welcomed back anytime!
Yesterday 8/20/2019 was my move in day. However, when I checked in, got the keys and went to the apartment I was very disappointed. The apartment was filthy! The refrigerator and freezer was full of old food and smelly. Bags of trash everywhere, on the floor inside and on the kitchen counters. Trash was also on the porch and balcony along with broken chairs and beer bottles. The place was disgusting. I couldn’t believe I had driven over 6 hour prepared to move in and couldn’t. It was unbelievable. I do have images to support everything stated.
Azhariyha Vaughan was amazing and very charismatic, she answered every question thoroughly and gave us a well detailed tour not to mention her great personality! I highly recommend her.
