0 stars. Please avoid at all costs. Live ANYWHERE else. I lived at this location for 1 year. I received an apartment in horrific condition - covered in dust, damaged, and rugs that were stained, missing pieces, and had burn marks. I reported everything to the property manager and they promised to replace the rugs and never did. During the entire year the water was shut off constantly, the AC was always broken, and my car was vandalized and they had NO CAMERAS. Upon leaving they charged me for the rugs they promised to replace . . . I disputed the charge and they still passed it on to a collection agency. Horrible property and horrible managers. Do yourself a favor and sign somewhere else.

Absolutely The Worse ‼️‼️ I repeat do not live there. The staff do not fox ANYTHING in there but always wants the rent 1st of the month. To Much Money To Not Wanna keep the apartments up to date. A/c will run your light bill. When I stayed there my water use to always have a smell and come out cloudy. When I moved out they told my new complex all lies . HIGHLY WONT RECOMMEND ‼️

Literally the worst and most incompetent complex I’ve ever interacted with. MADE ME AND MY ROOMMATE HOMELESS FOR MULTIPLE DAYS. We signed a lease for a 2x2, spent months trying to call and get more information about move in and whether I could move in early to no avail. Upon arrival at move in day our unit was completely demolished. Debris all over the floor, carpets torn, water damage everywhere, no beds or anything in our FURNISHED unit, floors torn up, holes in the doors and floor, absolutely filthy and unacceptable. The leasing manager put is in a hotel for a couple nights while swearing up and down that they would get us a new unit. After two days of waiting we came back to look at our new unit and it was still not ready. Entire maintenance team was still in the unit fixing random stuff, there were no beds, barely furnished, barely any light fixtures and the few that were there were hanging on by a thread, baby roaches, washer and dryer not even fully assembled, and overall just the structural quality and integrity of the unit is not acceptable for $600+ a month. EmbarassingAlso well over a month later Im getting $300 invoices for the utilities of the room I never lived in. so thats dope

Worst experience. They gave us the apartment very dirty, the refrigerator did not work and it had mold in the freezer, the dishwasher did not work either, the repairs that were made in the bathroom were been sloppy. The office was informed of all these problems and a week later they still have not fixed the refrigerator. I do not recommend this place at all.

Took a tour with the lovely Sidney! She was amazing! The place is beautiful, her attitude was so positive, and I can’t wait to move in! :) She made the experience so great from beginning to end!

Horrible experience!!!! They get zero stars. The tours might be nice but they ignore you once you actually sign a lease. Also, the leased apartments are not as nice as the sample apartment. My daughter did not have internet for months!! They claimed that they were switching providers but did not do anything about it until we complained on several occasions. They did eventually provide an inconvenience credit. My daughter also wrote an email to the property managers in regards to her fearing for her safety because maintenance would show up unannounced then would leave her door unlocked when they left. Renee Jarrell finally replied to her email 2 weeks later!! She stated that she would look into my daughters concerns and get back to her, but of course, she never did. STAY AWAY FROM THESE APARTMENTS!!!

Vicki at the Hub is AMAZING! She is super helpful and makes the place feel like home. They have a lot of great amenities and the one bedroom is HUGE!

Got to see the 2×2 unit, one bathroom had a tile shower and the other a tile tub. The whole experience was very nice, the apartment and surrounding amenities were VERY pretty, and Adrien did a really nice job of answering our questions and making the place feel warm.

I love the Hub Tallahassee! The staff are extremely nice and helpful, the floor plans are spacious, and they have lots of nice amenities! I definitely recommend this place.

*STAY AWAY*I’m writing this to save the time, energy, and money of someone considering this apartment…AVOID! In mid-May, I visited the property and was interested in moving into a 1x1 by May 31st. The manager and leasing agent both confirmed that I would be able to move-in by then and we started the paperwork. Confirmation of a move-in date was huge because I was to be forced out of my residence at the time because of building reconstruction. Also, I would be starting a new job on June 8th.Shortly after signing the 1st lease, they contacted me saying the move-in date would be pushed to around June 1st. Okay, not a problem. I’ll stay somewhere else for a day. I signed a new lease updating my move-in date to early June. Following the 2nd lease, I got a call saying that they weren’t able to move me into the apartment until approximately June 10th. Okay…I signed a 3rd lease confirming my move-in date for June 10th. So, during the 2-3 week period that we were in contact, I had signed 3 leases and called multiple times confirming that I would be able to move-in by said date. “Yes, the apartment will be ready for you.”On June 2nd, I got a call from the property manager Victoria saying that they “accidentally overbooked” and that “they can’t move me into an apartment until the end of summer” and that there is “nothing that they can do.”So…for 2-3 weeks…they consistently confirmed my move-in and NOT ONCE caught the “accidental” mistake that they overbooked. It doesn’t end there…When Victoria first called and told me the news, I asked if they could do a deal on the 2x2 so I could have a temporary place to live because this was clearly their fault. “No, sorry.” I asked if they knew of any other properties that possibly had openings. “No, sorry.”Amazingly, she didn’t even put the effort in to try and provide me with alternative options. I called around other apartments and EVERY employee spent the time to give me a list of possible options, even though they were sold out and had nothing to gain from referring me elsewhere.Again, STAY AWAY. Aspen Run, Canyon Park, and plenty of other apartments are in the same location for the same price and are managed 10x better.

I moved in here several months ago and I want to give everyone a rational review about my experience.1. There were roaches, but we asked pest control and they took care of it. Ever since then the house is roach free.2. The house is old in deed but still in good shape. The room is spacious, but not all the rooms under the same price have the same size. They are slighty different.3. The maintaince people came in to my bedroom without even knocking my door. I wouldnt mind if you come into my apartment without knocking the front door. But please, DO NOT let yourself in the bedroom without knocking the bedroom door. This is the part where I only give 2 stars instead of 4. I did not ask anyone to fix my bedroom but it happened twice, and everytime I confronted them, they explained that they went into the wrong room. It is a violation of privacy and an act of break in. Imagine a girl in her bedroom, some stranger suddenly came in without your permission. And they did not realize what they did is wrong, not even saying sorry.4. The internet is quite slow, with connections not very stable and sometimes there are internet outbreaks. My electronic devices often get disconnected for several minutes and this happens couple times a day, which is kind of annoying. I couldnt risk myself to use this wifi to take zoom classes or timed exams. I had to go to other places and use their wifi instead.5. Party sound and loud music at midnight. Usually happens on weekend or at the end of semester. Not frequent but do exist.6. The rent was inexpensive during pendemic when I signed the lease. If I had to pay the current price, I would not consider living here since there are other apartments at the same rate with better housing.7. I dont know what other review said, but the current office staff members are nice and helpful, there is no doubt about that.In general, the apartment is not like some extreme viewers comment saying that this place is not inhabitable, and its definately not fancy. They are just old normal apartments for students.

Truly truly awful. The entire complex is old and they do what many places here in Tallahassee do and cover everything wrong with paint. Over. And over. And over. Literally you can see spiders and roaches that have been painted into the walls. None of the doors or windows are sealed well so bugs get in very easily. You can only call maintenance so many times before you realize the apartment is just old. They give warnings in the leasing agreement about led and mold to cover their tracks because the apartment contain both and will take a toll on your respiratory system after some time. Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here really. There constantly men walking around being creepy and the property manager is racist.

The maintenance man Jason M. came to help me with my sink and was super nice. He cleaned up after himself and was in and out. I loved it. He was amazing.

I’m usually pretty generous with reviews but this was by FAR the worst place I have ever lived in. When we moved in the carpets were not clean at all. They were filthy and grimy and felt as if a vacuum has never touched it. We were not given a mailbox key and had to go pay for one (even though we were never given one to begin with). On top of all of the broken amenities, the water shuts off randomly once a week for unknown reasons.

The hub is a great place to live, affordable with most of the utilities included and great service. Pool is clean and gym area is nice too. Victoria went out of her way in a pinch to get me a furnished 1 BR and had new flooring installed in less than a week. Thanks again!

Living here was amazing. Any maintenance request that I had was completed in a timely manor. They did an amazing job matching with Juan and Javier as my roommates, especially since i didnt know anyone in Tallahassee. The company is amazing, as I still live with Trinity at The Social 2700.

Great place at a low price, staff has always been friendly, maintenance guys fix things as soon as possible. Its a student focused apartment complex but theres a few non- students there. Seen cops here about 3 times for some disturbances but nothing violent. With that many students you just cant avoid catching a whiff of weed once in a while, but hey lots of hot college girls. Just try to avoid the late fees, they are rough but staff will try to work with you.

Jessica was so amazing ! She helped me sign up for an apartment. It was such a good experience the entire time. She made the visit fun and I had an amazing and good experience here. Im excited to move in!

HORRIBLE. Place has mildew, and apartments are extremely old. The staff are rude as HELL. They only seem nice to get you to sign with them. I had roach in my shower the first week I moved in. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. Wanted to moved into a 1:1 out there that’s “upgraded “ but they boosted the price up to $815. Without anything furnished or no wash or dryer!!! They don’t not care about anyone out here. And noooo I do not want to contact you guys to talk about anything .

The place is ok. Some apartments have had roach issues other have none. The office decent. There alot of charge rules so if you wanna move to a different apartment its 150$ if you dont turn on the utilities in time its about 92$ extra on your first payment and if you pay credit its 28$ handling fee at 335 a month for a 4x4 its cheap.

I Have lived here for 2 years now and have had minimal issues. The manager changed recently and is MUCH better. I have had a few minor issues with my dishwasher and a closet door but those were all fixed pretty quickly with no more complaints from me! Great price, close enough to campus. Great place to live on a budget!

Came for a tour today and Yukoan made everything comfortable and easy to understand. Shes a wonderful person. Jessica and Diamonte provided a friendly and welcoming vibe. Would definitely recommend

Other residents are not mindful of others which really impact this place. The apartments are outdated, but you cant replace the good location. What really makes the Hub standout is the front office staff Ben, Ivonne, Yukoan. They are always trying their best to help us residents. Rene will do her best to solve any issues that arise, as long as you communicate! I wouldnt expect a highfalutin work, but the maintenance guys, Amos and James, work hard and get it done! I love upgrades to the gym and could only hope for some unit upgrades. Definitely consider!

Really nice apartments with a wonderful staff that gets back to me regarding any concern that I have. Had a great encounter specifically with Ivonne and Victoria regarding my application.

It has been a terrible experience to live here. When I first moved into the apartment the floors were not put in yet (even though they said it would be done by move in). It looked like they did not bother fixing any of the damage that the previous tenant caused. There were dog bite marks on door frames, chips on windowsills, and the doors did not seal. On top of that they took forever to do maintenance requests. I went to the office often and the manager clearly does not care about the apartments or tenants. She said, and I quote, the last tenants werent bothered by it (referring to the damage that was in my apartment.) I am already stressed enough by school, I really did not want the extra stress that The Hub put me through.

Horrible customer service. Waiting on maintenance requests that have been lost or misplaced or deleted out of there system. Units smell like mildew and mold. There idea of clean is to just paint everything even the tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms. Broken door frames that look like the cops raided all the apartments at one point.

Ive lived here for quite some time and there have been quite a few management takeovers but Im really excited about the newest one. They plan to stay and renovate the units and I am really excited! When I went in to voice my concerns the two women currently working in the office were really understanding and eager to help me resolve any issues I may have had from any previous owners. The location is GREAT and the space you have is unbelievable. So if youre nervous because of the other reviews, dont be. Genuinely, Ive lived quite a few places and this is definitely at the top of the list..

They like to do outside maintenance way too early on weekdays, they turn your water off for maintenance for whole days and dont tell you even though they said they would, the gym is a joke and the wifi is average at best and the whole place is covered in litter.

This complex is a part of the student housing plan at FSU. My younger brother was meant to move in today but upon seeing the room, it was so disgusting for the student price. (We live far away, so we couldn’t get a tour.) Mold was covering the air vents and ceilings. The sinks and fridge were rusted. Some of the lights didn’t work. The carpets were stained beyond what a carpet cleaner could fix, and 4 of the door jams were split, including the front door, as though it had been broken into. Don’t recommend this place. My bro is setting up a meeting to cancel the lease.UPDATE 5/14/18: Property manager was extremely rude on the phone. Refused contact for a whole week. Refuses to cancel the lease and refuses to walk the apartment herself. We’re now hiring a lawyer to get this resolved. If I could leave 0 stars, I would

This is the worst apartment complex you could rent at Tallahassee. Firstly overpriced and the unit I stayed at was roach and bugs infested. DO NOT let the pictures on its website fool you, please do your own research and you will see why nobody stays there past their 1st lease contract.

This place is absolute GARBAGE. DO NOT even think about getting random roommates here because if one of your roommates decides (s)he’s not paying their part of the electrical bill, the apartment complex does NOTHING to make him/her. They REFUSE to exterminate and you’ll have to do it yourself. When I first moved in, the place was FILTHY and they literally painted over some of the dirt. The ONLY positive thing I have to say about this place is that the rooms are pretty spacious. OTHER than that, this place is a NIGHTMARE. SAVE YOURSELF the headache by choosing a different place!!

This is probably the worst place Ive ever lived in. When I first moved in management lost the keys to my unit. Second, there were old and dead roaches in the bathroom and kitchen. The unit was moldy and dirty. When it was time for me to move out, the management was changing. They claim they have no records of me paying my rent for twos months in the middle of my term. How could I love there for a whole year, and not pay two consecutive months of rent without getting evicted? I paid my rent when it was due. Now Im receiving colection notices for those two months of rent. Please dont move here. They claim its renovated but all they did was paint over everything to make it look brand new. They need to tear these dusty apartments and rebuild the complex.

Staff all have nasty attitudes especially the new property manager, People who I didnt sign with. All the apartments have water damage and they say upgraded but I feel like Im staying in motel 6. I pay so much money for these broke down apartments. No washer/dryers in the units and NO laundry facility on site like they claimed when I signed. There are holes in my ceiling, overall this place sucks.

I opted in for a two bedroom upgraded unit at the Hub however, yesterday was my move in day and I have never been so disgusted. Upon entering there was a horrible smell throughout the apartment. Once I went to my bedroom I was even more disappointed. It seemed as if they painters forgot how to do their job because the paint job was far from uniform. The bathroom had cracks and water stains on the ceiling. There was no shower drain and the bathroom walls were completely chipped. I honestly would not recommend this complex to anyone.

Love the place and it has two bus stops for the fsu buses really close to the complex. My only complaint would be the maintenance, they don’t come on time to take care of the work orders.

As a former tenant there for 2 years I received an email today of charges I owe in which the most ridiculous one was a $539 paint fee....Now listen before the new property management took over, my apartment was already falling apart before my stay there. From electrical issues in the middle of Dec to attempting to clean your counter tops and cabinet but who ever painted before we got there did a crappy job covering up stained counter tops and cabinets, the paint constantly chipped while cleaning, it was cheap as hell. Also that apartment was NOT renovated before we move in like some of the others. Sorry but I refuse to pay for paint job, you guys can repainted the outside of the buildings all day but that doesnt take away from the fact that those apartments are outdated.

Have seen more problems visiting friends at this apartment than living in 5 different complexes in the US combined.

Where should I begin. First off if you are moving your child into the hub for college....run take them and run. This is one of the most over priced absolutley made to steal your money apartment complex I have ever been in. Showers not even close to finished, holes in walls, black mold everywhere, Windows looking like they have been broken into. Oh and let me tell you about the lack of protection against crime, personally had friends have their cars broke. Into on three occasions. And for my final note its infested with all sorts of nasty bugs we have been fighting since day one. Did I also mention they want to raid the current price of rent. Ok ok ok, very last thing. Dont expect them to fix anything either over the course of me and my girlfriend surviving here, we put in trouble calls to try and get the major issues fixed. Said we could survive it, took them 3 and a half months to come and fix the BROKEN LOCK ON OUR BACK DOOR. We have had two other visits over our 7 months. Just fair warming if something breaks and you got stuck in this place better off fixing it your self !

My apartment was broken into with me not even being there an entire month, it has also been over a month ago and the door to the unit still is not fixed, the property manager Victoria told my mother that apartments get broken in to often and it was unfortunate that my unit was one( NOTE i have a 1 year old daughter and was living there by myself with her, in the back of the complex where anything is possible to happen) and might i add she was veryyyyyyy rude about it when explaining to my mother her opinions, she also stated I did not know her apartment had been broken into my concern is how am I a new tenant, and she doesnt know my apartment had been broken into? On top of that wants me to continue paying 734 dollars for rent + water. This is just one incident there are several occasions where negative things have occur and nothing has been done, or you have to literally pressure them to fix anything in those disgusting apartments PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT LET THE DISPLAY ROOM FOOL YOU, save your time.

THIS PLACE IS GROSS! I would rather live on the side of the road than this disgusting excuse for an apartment complex. Within a year of living here there was TWO SHOOTINGS one of which I witnessed! The management didnt feel an explanation to the community was necessary. My bathtubs and sinks in both bathrooms are PAINTED WHITE! Painted! With white paint that peels off due to all the water (who wouldve guessed?) The paint doesnt stop there though... They decided the counters in my kitchen could use some too! The cabinets are all old and half of the handles to open the drawers ripped off within the first month of me living here. The staff, including the manager Rene, are all extremely rude. I had a mold problem in one of my bathrooms that took OVER A MONTH to fix. My AC and water heater are constantly breaking and my carpet had noticeable stains the first day I moved in. On top of the disgusting carpet, they have the nerve to charge a 350$ pet fee for already disgusting carpet. I can also hear EVERY SINGLE THING that goes on outside of my apartment, conversations, doors opening & closing. This is the worst place to live in Tallahassee so MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The manager and the maintenance manager are rude. The roommate matching is a disaster because they don`t use any criteria. These apartments are the worst place I have ever lived in my life. SAVE OURSELF AND DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. When I called I specifically made sure to ask for a furnished renovated place. But I was sent a lease of an unfurnished apartment. Why am I paying more if Its not furnished. When I signed my lease I thought that I was signing what I was told, but apparently not. This apartment is not renovated at all. There are cracks on the wall, leaks on the ceiling, the bathroom is a mess, paint on the floor, the toilet needs to be replaced, so does the shower, outlet is it of place, there is stains from water damages on the wall, cracks and paint bubbles on the wall, an electric stove top was missing, no washing machine or dryer, I even saw some period blood stains in my bath tub and it gets worse. if I want to get furniture or a washer and dryer its additional pay. My apartment was given to me uncompleted which violated my lease. My roommate came with the same expectations as I did, we both though that we wee getting a nicely renovated furnished apartment but we got a slum instead. I am not paying additional prices to get the same quality as a non renovated space. Please address my concerns because this has really frustrated my weekend. If this apartment complex valued integrity and exceptionality then this place would have been better than I imagined, but it is not. Just because somethings do not have to be done doesnt mean that they should not be done. Never have I lived in somewhere this bad that I had so many concerns. If you want a cheap apartment that is for students and worth the price check out The Commons or Seminole Grand NOT THIS PLACE. My roommate and I have cried so many times because of the hassle this place is causing us and the management is not helping. So please SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT MOVE HERE. Fleas & floods in the apartments worst complex ever and the managers was very rude. The owner said that the reason our apartment had fleas because of the dog my roommate owned but the fleas were only in my room which the dog never entered and not to mention the people above did not own any pets and they got fleas. the dog never had fleas before we lived at this complex. The dog park was disgusting and so was the apartment we were thrown into. After they finally agreed to relocate us after one of the many floods fleas came back into the new apartment and my roommate had not lived there for two months

Iam currently living here and its been the worse experience. When we signed our lease we were promised everything they advertise. Internet, locks on the door...etc. I moved in late July and got internet late August. They claim student living but maybe 3 residents actually go to school. Constantly seeing creepy people walking around peoples apartments and looking in. The staff is rude as can be and dont try and help at all and laugh and giggle when youre waiting to talk to someone.( usually about a work order that didnt get done and you put in months prior). The apartment buildings itself are old not renovated( paint dosent fix holes or cover nails from the previous owner). The walls are paper thin and the insolation is god awful. You can hear mice footsteps in the apartments above you. No joke. The poolIs dirty and thier is no laundry mat. Dont waste your time.

READ! I am NOT disrespectful but I would have to absolutely disagree with the review below/above. Ms. Victoria is actually the leasing manager, and a great one at that. She and coworker Megean are very personable, professional and truly care about the residents. The current property manager is new but appears very active and dedicated to the job. I actually met the staff when the previous property manager was present and my girlfriends place was broken into. While the old manager hid behind his office door, Victoria & Megean were very proactive; this is why I wanted to negate the previous review. Granted, they can not fix everything nor are they burglar ninjas. I won’t lie, the property is hella old, but the office staff does the absolute best with what they have. I do wish there was more maintenance on site and a Jacuzzi.

READ MY REVIEW.I recently decided not to renew my lease at Capital Walk because I could not afford nearly a $1000 a month for a 2/2. I stopped by this apartment for a tour. I had no idea how much money they were asking for a 1/1 either. Victoria Ferguson took me to the demo unit and I was immediately floored at how spacious it was. I asked how many square feet is this unit? She said over 700. I looked around a little bit more and said lets sign some paperwork. Victoria is a true professional. She truly cares for her residents. All of my belongings were transported and stored at a friends converted garage and a mobile trailer. I was homeless. The next day I came by and told Victoria about my situation. She originally had informed me no unit would be available until at the earliest the 10th of August with a guarenteed unit by the 15th. I told her I was living in my company van. It is the truth. I slept in my van.She had not realized how dire my situation was until I asked for permission to sleep in my van in front of the leasing office. I have been a resident for 3 days and I am always treated like a VIP when I enter the leasing office. Victoria and her staff are polite and courteous and attend to any and all issues promptly.My apartment is only $600 a month for a 1/1 and all I will say is you get what you pay for. I cannot complain. The internet is blazing fast on this side of town.I thought I would be sleeping in my van on my birthday but would you know, Victoria was hard at work the day prior. She got a unit available for me so I had an apartment to sleep in on my 31st birthday.Thank you Victoria for busting your hump and truly caring about people. G-d bless you.

Communication on zero move in day is two weeks from now haven’t heard anything I’ve called no response.

They are rude only person that is nice is the staff but the manager is so rude and the apartment is nasty and I had a problem with mold since i moved in. Worse thing happed was I had a month without kitchen water

I am not one to find the time to write reviews over a place, but I had to make an exception for 1303 Ocala of how HORRIBLE they are. I have lived here for 13 months and its been the worst experience ever. Everything is spray painted, from your walls, kitchen counters, apartment ceiling with water marks, bathroom sinks, and bath tub! A/C always breaks down, and they never seem to fix the problem! My utilities bill has doubled for the past two months because of the problem with my A/C and they dont care AT ALL! Im always having plumbing problems and you will have your toilets clogged over night, at times, and lets not even get into the mold topic.. The managers and staff are extremely rude but it really seems like everyone in this company doesnt give a single damn about your needs. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even to my worst enemy.

I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. The apartments are dingy, the staff is rude, and although cheap, the apartments are still pricey for what you get. I truly realized how devilish this company/property manager is when a good friend of mine, a 50+ year old handicapped gentleman who had been living here since January 2012, was literally kicked out of his apartment at the end of his lease term. He was not given the option to renew for that specific apartment because it is now a women-only unit, and was given the ultimatum of either being kicked out or living with new, unwelcoming people, despite being current with his bills. In the process of moving, he fell and fractured 2 of his vertebrae, yet the leasing offices position remains unchanged. Tread carefully if youre planning on renting, these people are heartless.EDIT: According to her google+ profile, Lindsay Brown, another one of the reviewers, works for Asset Campus Housing, the company that owns 1303 Ocala. Normally, I would say that it doesnt surprise me that the company leaves reviews for itself, but it speaks volumes that not even she could bear the thought of giving it a 3/3.
