Ive only been at this apartment complex for a couple months but so far its been good. Parking is actually available. Much better than my last apartment. All the features in this apartment are up to date. Maintenance is great. We had a power outage and maintenance went above and beyond to help us even though the City of Tallahassee was supposed to take care of it. I really like that my packages are all in safe places like the Amazon hub. I find the apartments are actually quite quiet and I never hear people outside or in the halls. Everyone seems pretty respectful as well. The only downsides I can think of are really petty or things that come with living in an apartment. They painted over the wire shelving in all the closets and its weirdly sticky. The garbage seems to pile up around the compacter every week. It cannot keep up with the amount that people are throwing away. I think they may need to do something about that.
The package lockers are GREAT! I’ve been here a few months and it’s not to close to campus so I get plenty of quite time which was my biggest concern when moving. And let’s not leave out how awesome the girls are in the front office
I applied for this complex because I will be moving to Tallahassee soon. The leasing process was going great until I did not hear from them for a few days. I had to call them myself for them to tell my my application had been denied. When I asked why they said it was my income. There is no possible way. I make 3X the rent as a state employee. When questioned further the employee mentioned it was my background such as credit history and rental status. Again no way, my credit score is high and I have never broken a lease and never paid my rent late. I think I could have accepted all of this if they would have to called to inform me myself. Instead I had to chase them around for a couple days trying to get a response. I wasted valuable time on them when I could have been looking at other apartments. Very unhappy
The Enclave has been excellent. Office staff are kind, professional, and extremely responsive. They host small, free events and even have food trucks come! The grounds are frequently tended to and look beautiful, and the complex is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The complex has a lot of young adults and young families, as well as some middle aged tenants. My husband and I were really happy to find this complex after college! The neighborhood is walkable and there is a greenway right down the road! The maintenance guys are responsive, too. If we ever had some trouble around the home, they would come within 24hrs to troubleshoot and I never felt uncomfortable. They were all kind and respectful. The apartments, themselves, are in wonderful condition and the empty units seem to undergo renovations to stay upgraded. Like most apartment complexes, your neighbors can be good or bad. For the two years we’ve been here, we only had one loud neighbor sometimes for about two months, and even that wasn’t the worst. Management does a great job handling tenant concerns like that, as well. The only two downsides I can think of is that the apartments don’t have balconies and rent prices can climb over time - which is pretty standard. The latter is the only reason we are moving; otherwise we’d stay for a lot longer!
I moved in a 2 months ago and Glad I chose this complex. Not too close to campus so it’s quite. The girls in the front office Courtney and Morgan are really helpful. I really like the package lockers.
My family and I have lived here for 3 years and we love it. The staff is so friendly and always willing to help. Due to covid my husband had to take his Florida Bar Exam virtual from home. He talked to the maintenance manager and property manager about ideas of how to keep the noise down to a minimum and they went out of their way to reschedule the landscapers to come on a different day. My husband was very grateful and that was a huge help. They also always respond to any maintenance requests promptly and the office holds resident appreciation events in the leasing office every month. The only quirk is that the trash compactor is at the front of the complex and often backs up causing residents to leave their bags of trash right next to it. But when that does happen maintenance acts promptly to fix the issue and clean it all up so do not let that dissuade you. There is a small playground on property that our son has thoroughly enjoyed and it is a 5 minute walk to the library AND starbucks.
I am writing this review on behalf of my son and his two friends who rented for one year at the Enclave at Huntington Woods. Overall they were satisfied with their experience and apartment while renting. The biggest issue was being charged $823 for the carpet replacement after lease was up.Several darkened stains and patterns in the carpet were present at the time of move in. My son took several pictures, and the stains were very clearly there. The property manager sent photos after move out and there were no significant changes in the condition of the carpet. It was 100% normal wear and tear. The apartment was left in the same condition it was rented - yet property management withheld the $500 deposit and charged an additional $350 for carpet replacement. There was absolutely ZERO damage to the property. My only advice— Be prepared to lose your deposit and be charged for unfair penalties.
I love this apartment complex! Everyone who works here is so nice and the apartments are amazing and in great condition. The ladies at the front office are always very quick to respond to any questions I have and the amenities are always well kept. The complex is also very dog friendly which was perfect for me and my dog.
This is a wonderful apartment complex. I enjoy my apartment and my neighbors. I always see maintenance out first thing in the morning cleaning up the grounds and they always greet you with a smile in passing. It is a very clean and quiet place to live. Very glad I chose to stay here. The only reason I am leaving is because I have built a house.
Glad I choose to move here. the girl at the front desk made everything easy when i moved in.
A fantastic place to live in. I stayed for 20 months, and I really enjoyed my time with them.So friendly with excellent service.
THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE! I definitely recommend this apartment community to anyone looking for a clean home, friendly staff, and convenient location. The ladies in the office, Morgan and Courtni, are amazing! They helped me with the ENTIRE move in process and still continue to help me as a resident. The maintenance staff also does a great job at keeping up with the grounds. I’m very happy at the Enclave and it’s truly the best place to call home!
I am actually not a resident here, but my daughter has lived her for a couple of years now. I had to write this review for the other parents out there who may have kids moving out on their own to let them know this is the place you want them to live.I know first hand how nerve-racking it can be when your kids move out on their own and how much concern and worry you can have for them and their safety. I have never had any concern for my daughters safety while she has been living here. The property itself is beautiful. The apartments, the pool, the gym and all of the amenities are all perfect. It is such a nice quiet complex and has the feel of a quiet family neighborhood . Even though it is close to the college, and I am sure there are plenty of college kids living here, I have never seen any evidence of loud disruptive college kids hanging around, having parties or causing disturbances. My daughter has never experienced and issues of crime, break-ins, or cars getting broken into and she has always felt safe. The parking lots and walkways are all well lit at night and you just feel safe there at night.True story, one weekend when I was there visiting my daughter I noticed that her neighbor had an Amazon package by their front door. Well the neighbor must have been away for the weekend because the package sat out by the door for the entire weekend, from Friday to Sunday. On Sunday it even began to rain and I noticed the package was getting wet so I pushed the package out of the rain. The apartment was at the end of the building so it was the closest apartment to the parking lot and you could see the package from the parking lot. I was impressed that the package sat there all weekend, overnight, and no one took it. I am not sure an Amazon package would survive undisturbed for an entire weekend at my house and I live in a great neighborhood. After seeing that, and with all my other experiences and impressions of this apartment complex over the last couple of years, I am convinced that the Enclave is safe. Also my daughter loves living there as well.
Ive lived at the Enclave almost 2 years and I must give the staff and maintenance team 2 thumbs up! Morgan and Courtney are always there to answer any questions you need and Im always greeted with smiles. Maintenance is fast and reliable. Whether it is an A/C filter or a small leak, they are there within the hour, even after hours. Not only is their staff responsive, but they host different events throughout the month. Sometimes even going as far to deliver your food to your door. WOW! It really is the small things that matter. Thank you Team Enclave!
The Enclave was an amazing place to spend our first year in Tallahassee! The complex is quiet, extremely well taken care of, and super clean. Any issues we had were resolved by maintenance the same day. We have lived in four different apartments and can honestly say the guys who work maintenance at the Enclave are the best! Very polite and know their stuff. The girls who run the office are super sweet and were always available for any questions! Our apartment itself was spacious and the appliances were up to date. The smart air conditioning was awesome and ended up saving us money on our electricity bill. The only reason we moved was to get closer to town as you are just about outside of Tallahassee. I definitely recommend the Enclave specifically to families who want a safe and quiet complex to live in!
LOVE this place! Thank you Courtney and Morgan for the tour and the professionalism. It’s not time for me to move yet but I’ll definitely recommend you!
My wife and I have lived in Tallahassee for going on 12 years, and this is by far the best place we have rented, thus far. Where to start...The staff really makes all the difference. If youve rented before, you probably know what its like to call your apartment office and feel ignored and hopeless. The office staff at The Enclave has been responsive and warm and friendly with us through the application process, moving in, and now as residents. Any time we have had a question, they have answered us immediately and made us feel that they truly cared. When we moved in, they gave us a gift basket and it felt like they were genuinely excited that we were moving in.Something that has just blown us out of the water has been the maintenance service. I am not exaggerating when I say that we have called in a problem and had a technician knocking at our door within MINUTES to fix the issue. They also seem to be extremely knowledgeable, as we have never had to call them back about a repair once they have fixed it. Any time we see them out on the grounds when we walk our dog, they always wave and say hello, which really adds to the feeling that the staff here cares about their tenants.I havent had any complaints about my neighbors here either, it is actually one of the quietest places we have lived. This is definitely a big concern when looking for places in Tallahassee, because the younger, college crowd that populates this town can get pretty unruly. We have had a very peaceful experience living at The Enclave, with no college partying to report! Its also worth noting that we walk our dog and walk our trash to the dumpster after dark and have never felt unsafe or uneasy. If you are looking for an apartment and want a great community feel, I definitely recommend The Enclave!
What an amazing place. The two ladies in the front were very helpful and really took the time to show me what I was looking for. Very nice place.
We have been living here for 2.5 months so far and it has been great! Our apartment was even better than we expected at move in, and everything was extremely clean. Pool and landscaping are just as nice as they seem in the pictures online! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and they often have food trucks come to the parking lot for residents. I was initially concerned about several reviews involving stolen cars, but I haven’t had any safety issues thus far nor have I felt that my car/myself/my belongings have been in danger since living here. The only reason we would move away from here after our lease is up is location, as the enclave is pretty far from downtown/things to do. But, definitely a 5 star place to live if location doesn’t bother you.
I really enjoy living at this community, Its very peaceful and my neighbors are great. The move-in process was very easy, unlike other places Ive lived at. They also have a move in basket prepped for you once you get there. The staff is very helpful especially with submitting service request. Maintenance also responds within a day. The pool is never crowed even on a hot day! Theyve also had a couple of food trucks which was really helpful once I got off work!
If you dont wake up at 6 or 7 am I would highly recommend not living here. This is the fifth time this week Ive been woken up at 8 am by some kind of obnoxiously loud landscaping service that could easily have been done in the afternoon. These people have no respect for your sleep and you should purchase ear plugs if you cant find anywhere else to live.
I would like to thank the staff at the office for making the move as easy as possible. They are professional, courteous, and prompt at replying to any inquiries one may have, especially Emily. The apartment and common / rec areas are nice. Parking space is plentiful. My only complaint being that the windows of the apartment are single pane thus not energy efficient. Expect higher heating and cooling use.Have yet to require services of maintenance, aside from accidentally being given the wrong key at move-in. They too were very friendly and courteous, addressing the issue immediately. Good signs should a maintenance issue arise in the future.Overall very pleasant experience so far and would absolutely recommend!
Between the single pane glass windows and the gaps in my door I can hear all the chainsaws and pressure washers really clearly, they make for a great alarm clock if you like waking up at 7 am.
Love it here. The office and maintenance staff are very kind and responsive. Feels like home to me. Can’t wait for the pool to warm up.
Kents Smokin Sausages and More have the pleasure of being one of the food trucks at The Enclave at Huntington Woods. We look forward to coming on the property to bring some of the best food in Tallahassee. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! The main office and grounds are kept very clean. Weve been communicating with Emily in scheduling to come on the property. Shes very caring, has a great listening ear and open mind to suggestions in making sure the food truck is a great success. Be sure to check this location out!
I absolutely love it here! It’s quiet and cozy and the staff that work here are awesome! They respond right away to any questions we might have. The pool area is super relaxing and the property is taken care of really well!Emily from the office is soooo AMAZING. She made our moving process so simple. She gave us a welcome gift basket when we got here. We really do love and appreciate her and what she’s done! The last place I lived at was the complete opposite...after coming here I realized that it is possible for management to be on top of everything and be nice and welcoming to their tenants. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a new home 💜
Definitely the best complex I have come across! The ladies in the leasing office are the kindest people and make me feel at home immediately. I love the Amazon Hub and the pool is a chill hangout spot :)
One of the best experiences i have had in a while. i appreciate everything that Morgan and Courtni did for me when i spent my 5 years at there beautiful complex. Maintenance staff was exceptional they never had me wait more than 24 hours to get my special request finished.
I LOVE it here! I moved to Tallahassee from Miami a couple of months ago, and all I can say is that I am so glad I chose the Enclave as my new home. The first thing that came to mind as I drove into the Enclave for the first time: “Wow, this looks like a Hotel Resort!” The landscaping is gorgeous, and the apartment complex itself is beautifully maintained. My apartment unit looks exactly like the pictures you see online—folks—what you see is what you get! Stainless steel appliances, remodeled kitchen, and bathroom. Also, their online system for paying rent and requesting maintenance services for your apartment is SOOO hassle-free and convenient. But I also enjoy living at the Enclave because of its friendly management staff. They always greet me with a smile; any questions or concerns I have are answered with such care and professionalism. That, to me, is the difference-maker. The Enclave is special because of the people who manage it. I appreciate how they make you feel as though you really were a part of a community. There are events they plan year-round and they have free breakfast and lunch at the office from time to time! Thank you for making the Enclave my home away from home.
Absolutely wonderful apartment complex. I’ve lived here for about 5 months and have nothing but positive things to say. The unit is beautiful and spacious and the community is well landscaped and maintained. The pool and fitness center are immaculate and they even allow their residents to rent kayaks for trips to the lake and beach at no additional charge. Super friendly and helpful staff who clearly care about their residents and who take pride in the work they do. We’ve had a few incidents in our unit that required maintenance attention, but each time the problem was addressed quickly and efficiently. Recently, our fridge stopped working and our food spoiled because of it. Not only was the appliance quickly replaced, but they gave us a credit on our rent to help alleviate the burden of replacing the food we had to throw out. The day before Thanksgiving, a large shelf in my closet fell and I was worried it wouldn’t get fixed in time for the holiday- but nope! Maintenance was at my door less than 10 minutes after receiving the call and had the whole mess sorted within the hour. These are just a couple examples of the above-and-beyond service you will receive at The Enclave. This is the first apartment complex I’ve lived in that has truly made me feel like a valued customer and I highly recommend them to anyone living in the Tallahassee area.
I moved into my apartment 6 months ago, and I absolutely love it! I moved here because it is close to my job, but I have found that this property is perfect for me and my lifestyle! I recommend these apartments to everyone who asks! I loved working with Morgan and Courtni in the office--they helped me find my perfect spot for me! They are professional, efficient, and knowledgeable in everything they do. I also appreciate the timeliness of the maintenance team. I have had to file emergency work orders, and I always hear back as soon as they are able. There is so much to love about this place! Each unit has full laundry room, fully equipped with a washer and dryer! I really like the nest A/C systems, too! I am able to connect to my thermostat and control it from my phone. I love it because I can control everything with the touch of a button! The pool area and gym are amazing! I love going to the pool on really hot days. I wish I could say I used the gym more… ha! But it has a fair amount of equipment for people to choose from. I have 6 months left in my lease, but I know I will be renewing my spot! I absolutely love it!!
I was a visiting scholar at the Florida State Univ. and lived at this wonderful apartment for one year. I moved out and came back to my hometown in December 2019. The apartment is pretty clean and has nice landscape. The staffs of this apartment are amazing. The office staffs are so kind and friendly, and the maintenance staffs are experts and so quick, never let me wait hours for my repair requests. Most of the residents are friendly and quiet. The location is also very good. Library, restaurants, drug stores, churches are in just 3 min walking distance, and community bus stop is located at the entrance. This apartment has nice and clean swimming pool and fitness is also well taken care of. I sometimes miss the staffs at the office, Morgan, Gina, Ashley, and Trista. Morgan and Gina must be still there. They sent me my security deposit back quickly by postal mail and they did not forget to include $31, the water pro-rate. I highly appreciate it. I really enjoyed staying there. Ill be back there again if I have another chance to go to Tallahassee!! Im sorry but I dont know about the the school district there. I definitely would recommend this apartment.
Emily was so great in helping us with all of the paperwork and stuff!! It was a very quick move and she made it so much easier with her quick responses and wonderful personality!! :) I lived in these apartments a couple years back and I absolutely loved them, I am so excited to be living here again!!
The apartments and amenities are nice. The maintenance people respond fast to calls. My only issue would be office staff. Morgan was great and always helpful. Gina was rude and lazy. When you ask her questions, she rarely knows the answer and doesn’t help with packages. She will literally sit there, doing NOTHING and make you search for your package. Rude.
I really adore this community! The landscaping is beautiful and the resident events are super fun. I’ve always made friends with a few of my neighbors. The environment is peaceful so it’s easy for me to get homework done without distraction. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of college town.
Emily & Courtney were very helpful and efficient, we came and did our applications it only took a couple hours before we were approved & moved in! Great experience, highly recommended!
Yes, it is a little more expensive than other complexes, but you get what you pay for. The apartments are very new, clean, and have amazing appliances - all in all worth the price in my opinion. The complex itself is also nice and well-maintained. And unlike the last complex I lived in, Ive had nothing but positive experiences with the management here. I wish I had found this place earlier.
I love it here! Parking is not at all an issue, unlike many other apartment communities. The office staff and maintenance team are very efficient and caring. Great amenities!
Emily was an amazing help ! She helped me through the process of everything and I was able to move in sooner than I thought and she helped me save tons of money when I moved in .The apartment overall is beautiful and it’s comfortable ..
I really enjoyed living at the Enclave. It was a comfortable laid back place, and I felt fairly safe. The place was fairly quiet. The maintenance staff did a good job keeping things up and were prompt at answering calls. The office staff was wonderful as well and never made me feel uncomfortable. The pool was nice too. Did not use the work out room, but it was nice know it was available if I chose to go.Only down thing to say is, I wish they had not raised the rent as I most likely would have renewed for another year. I do recommend the Enclave.
The Enclave is one of Tallys best kept secrets. Ive lived in Tallahassee for years and never knew this cozy little place existed! Upon driving in you realize the staff takes pride in what they do!.The whole place is well-kept and I love the landscaping! Im always greeted with a smile whether Im picking up a package or just stopping in to use their awesome business center. They are consistently updating the amenities so they are never tired looking. I love that they put on events just for the residents to mingle and say thank you. I also love my apartment. I was a little worried moving in that my furniture wouldnt fit but they helped me measure the walls and brainstorm some layouts. I really had nothing to worry about. I hope to stay around the Enclave for years to come! Thank you to everyone in the office and maintenance for making me feel at home.
I dont know about the other people but i never had problems with Enclave. I lived there for a couple of years and would definitely recommend it! They do great maintenance, change carpets in the appratments, appliances are nice and new. Great, clean place!
This apartment community is the hidden gem of apartment communities in Tallahassee! Tucked away and quiet but still minutes away from the grocery store, bank and school! The apartments truly look exactly like the pictures they post online. Maintenance staff is great ... fixing the problem as soon as they know about it. The enclave should be your #1 choice on where to live. I would recommend to ANYONE!
The apartments themselves are in great condition, the staff is helpful, and the whole neighborhood is safe and inviting. Couldnt have asked for a better place to live in Tallahassee!
Love living here! This part of Tallahassee is so secluded and and quiet! A great place for those looking to live in the city, but away from the hustle and bustle. The community is STUNNING! My apartment has so many beautiful features too. I just renewed my lease for another year! Oh! and the office staff is super nice! they always help me out.
The staff in the office are unhelpful and are giving residents the wrong packages. I received a text message from the Enclave notifying me that I had a package in their office. I went there and the girl at the front desk went into the package room and brought me another residents package. I gave it back letting her know the package was for someone in a totally different apartment. She told me “well this is all I have I don’t have any other packages for your unit.” She didn’t apologize for giving me the wrong package nor did she recheck the room to see if my package was there. I even checked with USPS and Amazon and both said my package was delivered to them. My wife has had to check their package room herself on multiple occasions to find her packages. Hopefully their Amazon hub system works because clearly this staff isn’t cutting it.
I have been at The Enclave less than a year and find it to be peaceful and tranquil. It has nice landscaping, is clean and offer good amenities at a reasonable price. The office staff is wonderful and the maintenance personnel responses fast. Last, The Enclave have numerous community activities events. Moving from Miami it has been great with the peace of mind I get living at The Enclave.
Still loving living here. Its bittersweet to be moving for work. I enjoy going into the leasing office and getting coffee. And really like all of the resident events at the community. Not to mention I will be paying a ton more relocating to my new assignment.
Personable staff who take the time to learn your name. There’s always activities and events going on. They really take the time to make you feel at home. Neighborhood is also quiet and pleasant. Such a major fan of this place! (:
My job requires a lot of travel, and sometimes being away from home for long periods of time puts me in unique positions. But the staff at The Enclave knew and understood my situation, and they were always there for me when I called them from the road for some help. They would put a key under my mat when I left for a long trip and forgot to take mine so I could get inside when I arrived home at 2 a.m. When the most recent hurricane came through the panhandle of Florida, and I was on the road, the staff went into my place, upon my request, just to make sure everything was okay and to throw out some food I had in the freezer that I was certain went bad due to the power outages caused by the storm. Those are just a couple of examples of how great the staff is at taking care of their residents. While on the road, I never had to worry about anything at home because of the awesome people who work here, which gave me tremendous peace of mind and allowed me to focus on my job better. And I havent even mentioned how beautiful, quiet, and comfortable the actual apartment was. I loved it here and would have stayed forever if I hadnt been required to move out of Tallahassee!
We lived there for three years and we have so many good memories. The staff are always so nice and helpful, they respond quickly anytime!
I just signed my lease here and the staff is so friendly! They showed me the awesome amenities they offer here and made the application process super easy. I even saved a ton of money because Im a full time student. They waived my application fee of $50, gave me $100 off my first months rent, and I got a reduced security deposit. I cant wait to move in!!
Pretty decent apartments, a bit on the expensive side. Pool area is nice, area itself is pretty nice. Even the neighbors I met were friendly, Maintenance was quick and responsive and management and all staff in the office was very helpful, friendly, and professional. I only left due to affordability of a single apartment.
I went to visit these apartments as I am soon moving to the area for work. I was pleasantly surprised to see how friendly the staff was and how they seemed to genuinely care if I leased with them or not. They were able to answer all my questions very professionally which was a major plus for me. The area seems very nice and I felt quite comfortable there. I am definitely planning on leasing with this company.
I have been living at the Enclave for quite some time and it is one of the best communities I have lived at. Its not a gigantic apartment complex so it stays quiet for the most part. The staff is super easy to talk to and get in touch with. Maintenance is always quick to come out and change your air filter or even just a light bulb. There is not trash everywhere and the office will hold resident events and contests that are pretty cool. Also, you can lay by the pool without a party breaking out. I would definitely recommend it here if you are looking for more of a home feel in an apartment community.
I couldnt have chose a better place to live!I love everything about my apartment, the stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring, and my walk in closet. The office staff provides you with stainless steel cleaner to maintain your appliances. The Enclave takes apartment living to the next level!I recommend The Enclave to anyone who is looking for a nice, new cozy place to call home!
I just moved in a few days ago and so far I really like my apartment. The pool looks nice and Ive been to the gym a few times already. I dont feel crowded at a big complex or in the inner city. Plus my dog Brett really likes it here too. They have treats for him in the office and a pet park so he can run around. I would advise others to live here too.
I have lived here for quite some time now and have nothing but good things to say about this little community. From move-in to now, the staff here has been so helpful and friendly. My commute to work is short thanks to close proximity to everything, and I look forward to coming home every day to all the conveniences that they offer here.
The location is great and you could not ask for a better community. The apartments have brand new appliances in the kitchen and gas stoves which are way better. The staff is always nice and they even gave me a basket when I moved in with essentials that I did not have to run out and buy after unpacking. They made my move in day as easy as possible and even suggested restaurants in the area.
3-4 roaches come out after you turn off the light every night which was not the worst. All of a sudden a bunch of crazy construction workers lived next door and sleeping time is only guaranteed from 3-6 every night. The courtesy officer or the manager didnt do anything at all. They only told them to not to be noisy which solved none of the problems. They got drunk and crazy every Friday and Saturday and they had so much fun walking up and down the stairs. Sleeping is a luxury for more than 3 months. The reason for having all kinds of people moving in is simply because the management (which has an extremely high turnover) is focusing on $$$ but nothing else. You would see something not making sense on your bill, then you talk to some guy at the office, he agreed that the utility charge was not correct and promised to get back with you but the next day he was gone and you got new management team. They would trick you to charge as much as they can on everything. I needed a 5-month lease and they said the best they can do was 6-month lease from 11/1 to 5/1 for which I need to pay 6 months rents. The furniture was supposed to arrive on or before the move-in date but they arrived a week later. They promised to prorate and refund the dates when the rental furniture didnt arrive in time on the move-in date but it never happened. Then they charged $40 for 1 extra day when we moved out on 5/1 when the contract clearly says the lease term is 6-month. Their explanation was that it was on the contract that 5/1 means I will be charged to 1 day extra but its just I wasnt smart to tell the little trick they played to rob me. The extra day showed up as utility charge that their staff had the hardest time figuring out what was that for. The place is the best if you have every minute in your life to worry about incorrect utility bill, irresponsible management and lots of traps to charge you more. Plus you get extra if you got crazy drunk neighbors which couldnt sleep at night. Good luck!
I have lived here for almost a year and have mostly enjoyed it. No issues and the apartments are nice. My only complaint is it is pricey and rent went up so I will not be releasing. There are other apartments in town that cost a lot less with similar amenities. The front desk staff are great though! One of them (Davis) even helped me carry my huge bed frame that was shipped to the front office all the way to my front door. Not many people would have done that!
Great place to live management team members are very active.
It is a quiet and beautiful apartment. Nice neighborhood and good location. Maintenance people always fix things very fast. We are happy to live here.
Friendly office and maintenance staff! Any questions I had they are quick to respond to. Unit was in good, clean condition upon move in and has been completely pest free.
I lived at the Enclave from 2017 through 2018. It is yet my best experience living in any apartment complex or apartment building. They are polite (administration and maintenance), facilities and grounds are kept beautifully, maintenance service is prompt and efficient, personnel is courteous and friendly, and social activities for the community are ingenious. Ill miss you guys!!!!
Emily is awesome! Cant wait to move in!!
The Enclave is the place to be! Such a beautiful and quiet community. Lovely amenities (Washer & Dryer in every home?!?), helpful staff, and a beautiful apartment to come home to. Highly Recommend!
FOR GODs sake run away from here. I created an account just to leave a review here. It was noisy, they change managers like drawers, and they discuss personal business among residents within the office. I found myself informing corporate due to them discussing my personal business within the office. Upon moving in it was decent, we ended up having an abundant amount of black cat hair when we moved in our apartment that we didn’t see during the tour. Should have documented it. Fast forward to moving out after 2 years and the manager looked me in my eye and told me my carpet was fine because my husband and I cleaned our carpet regularly. Our(carpet cleaner broke due to cat hair from a pet that was obviously there before us). Soon as we left they took our deposit, and charged us $900 more. So a total of $1400. By this time I was 700 miles away and receiving a letter in the mail about owing something I thought was taken care of. I proceeded to head back to Tallahassee on a business trip and insisted the manager show me these “so called damages” while I was in town. They refused, yet insisted they had no pictures to prove these damages occurred. (I truly don’t believe they even replaced the carpet). After arguing with corporate for weeks and being outright disrespected by them, I just paid them because it was such a hassle to deal with. The MANAGER LOOKED ME IN MY EYE AND TOLD ME OUR APARTMENT WAS FINE AND WE DIDNT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING WHEN WE LEFT. Take pictures, document, and look over everything before you sign anything. They got a free carpet off of us. If y’all are reading this Enclave call me so I can pick up my carpet y’all said I messed up.
I have lived here for a little over a month now and I absolutely LOVE IT! Everything inside the apartment is brand new and everything outside is well kept. If you are looking for a place to live then definitely stop by The Enclave.
I have had the best experience moving into and living in this community that I literally recommend The Enclave at Huntington Woods to everyone I know that is moving to Tallahassee.Moving to a different city is always challenging. As a newly admitted FSU PhD student, I wasnt really looking to emerge myself in FSUs lively campus atmosphere at this point in my life. My goal was to find a place close enough to campus that the drive was convenient, but far enough that if I wanted to, I could avoid any potential rowdiness that may exist on or around game day.On the day I went apartment hunting, The Enclave was one of my last stops. Just arriving to the community was impressive, with the very well manicured entrance, convenient (and safe!) traffic circle, and canopy trees on the commute. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly during the tour, and have maintained these valuable characteristics throughout my time living here. Theyre professional, timely, and very reasonable. The staff is very empathetic and kind too, which I very much appreciate, especially moving to a new town by myself for the first time. The units have LAUNDRY ROOMS WITH FULL SIZED WASHER AND DRYER. You read that right... how exciting is that?! Nest AC units (if you havent heard of this, google it now!) can be controlled from my phone (super convenient when youre not home or when youre lazily laying in bed), the layout of the units make them appear much larger then what they are. Compared to other properties with similar square footage, the layout of the units at The Enclave are much more open.Driving to FSUs campus takes me 11 minutes. The area around The Enclave is quiet, and the community itself is quiet, and appears to be sprinkled with an array of students and small families. I love the feeling of seclusion you can find up here when seeking peace and quiet, when in reality, youre a five minute drive from bars and restaurants. I recommended that my colleague look into renting here... and now she is a tenant too! You absolutely get what you pay for with this complex, and the rent was very reasonable especially compared to other properties I had toured. This place is awesome, Im lucky I found it and wish someone would have recommended it to me when I started apartment hunting!
Very nice community, a great mix of family friendly people. Awesome amenities, including fitness center, pool, grill, and a computer use area. Staff and maintenance have been very friendly and overly accommodating.
The enclave is awesome. The office is always super clean. The business center is convenient and smells amazing. Definitely recommend living here!
First of all, Id like to say this property is in a great area!! Looked around and decided on the enclave...glad I did! The prop mgmt staff takes good care of the place. Id recommend this location to my fellow renters looking for a clean, quiet, well kept place to live.
Relocated to Tallahassee for my job and needed to find a place to live rather quickly and had only planned to live here until I bought a home. Ive been here now for nearly a year. That should tell you something. Its a great location with an impeccable staff. I dont see myself leaving here anytime soon.
The enclave has been a great experience so far for me and my family. The girls in the office made our move very simple. I would recommend this place to a friend.
We moved here November of 2014. The apartment looked exactly like the model minus the stainless-steel appliances.Pros- Family friendly, close to restaurants and shopping, clean property, great maintenance request turn-around time, usually a fun resident activity monthly and kind staff.Cons- Our rent has gone up consistently every renewal. This year’s renewal is the highest at a $230 increase (the complex says it’s the residents part of the trash collection). There is only one trash in the front of the complex and it is always full with trash sitting everywhere, disgusting. I will not stay another year just for the rent to go up again or pay extra for that trash problem. This past year multiple cars were broken into and mine was stolen. Although the crime itself is not the complexs fault there was no notice given to the unaware residents of what went on. They claimed there would be a security person but I have not seen anyone. When there was a gate it was always open and has since been removed. The gym is very small and for the longest only 1 of 2 of the treadmills has worked. For us the cons outweigh the pros and we will be happily moving this year.
I love living here! The one bedroom floorplan is extremely spacious and newly updated! Its so quiet and the pool comes equipped with propane grills so its so easy to bbq! Moving to the enclave is definitely one of the best decisions Ive made and its a great place to live! Thanks to the awesome staff for being such a huge help during the move!!
Everyone who works here is so friendly and nice! Maintenance is excellent! I love my new home!
This property is a hidddn gem in Tallahassee. Gorgeous landscaping and wonderful amenities for the price. The office staff and maintenance are exceptional and I never have any issues. I would recommend the enclave to anyone is Tallahassee.
What a great apartment complex facility! Couldnt have been more pleased with their management. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for an apartment in Tallahassee!
I love living at The Enclave! The location is great and the amenities are awesome! The front office is always so friendly and helpful which is a plus too!
We love Enclave it a nice and quite place to live .It the best place for yr family to live the manager and everybody in the office is nice . U can bring yr pets with u at Enclave .
Really nice pool, the cabanas are great! Good atmosphere for families and pet friendly. Employees are friendly and courteous, would highly recommend living here.
Do not live here unless you want your car stolen! In the eight months that I lived at this complex my girlfriend and I both had our cars stolen and there were multiple other car burglaries/thefts on the property. The worst part about it is that management did NOTHING to remedy the situation. I was told they would be adding cameras and that an officer would patrol the parking lot at night but I have yet to see one, ever. I asked to be let out of my lease due to safety concerns and of course they refused because they honestly dont care about you, only getting your money every month. The units are okay but not worth the price of rent, especially considering the area that you will be living in is HORRIBLE. Theres no gate so people off the street just roam the parking lot at night and pull on car door handles and do God knows what else right outside of the apartments. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere before deciding to rent at Enclave.
The enclave is a lovely community to call home. The staff takes pride in leasing out these apartments and the maintenance is always striving to complete any requests in a timely manner.
Be very cautious! Management will not return my emails and answer questions after signing the 50 page lease. Im not exaggerating its a 50 page lease! First red flag! Over priced and lack of communication after I signed the lease. I am so apprehensive about their customer service/or response to problems after I move in! You can find something just as nice but less expensive just look somewhere else.
Terrible, I’m a former resident from awhile ago but after staying here I’ve been tarnished. Since moving, I’ve stayed in pricey hotels due to hassle of living here. Noisy, loud, lots of car break-ins and will rip you off when youre leaving. Terrible experience, I won’t ever rent out another apartment in my life.
Run away, if I could rate this place a 0/5 I would 1/5 is giving them too much credit . When I first moved there I had a great leasing agent. However, she moved on and theres a new management team now. I dreaded the decision the second I moved in . Theres roaches everywhere and mold is imminent. I called to see if the pest control company could come out. It took them 2 months to there. There were cracks in the vinyl flooring that I mentioned at the time of move in that we were later charged for. Its so much I dont even want to explain . Its a horrible place to live . Very loud and youre paying too much for such a small space . Look somewhere else .
I never write reviews but this has to be done. If you enjoy your privacy and want a peace of mind look elsewhere. The management here is VERY sketchy and disrespectful and they do not value tenants. They also have a habit of “losing” security deposits because of constant change in management. The maintenance head and management work hard together to look inside your apartment for violations whether thats with or without your permission. My roommates and I are not allowed to renew our lease even though we do not have any violations on our records. There are many other places with much more to offer in the area. Dont Fall for the small apartment features.
1. Since moving to the Enclave, there were a total of three different management teams! Different management styles and inconsistency.2. There did not go a day when we didn’t see a bug in our apartment. We eventually took it into our own hands and constantly had to use Raid in our apartment to try to help with the bug problem.3.There is only one dumpster in the entire property, which is located at the very front. If you live in the back of the property, you will find yourself having to walk very far to throw out your trash. You would think that for all that you are paying for your apartment that there would be at least two dumpsters. By the end of the week, the trash is piled up so much, and it is an eye soar because it is located in the very front. When we moved in and Comcast came to set up our cable, we realized that the living room was not wired for cable.4.When we toured the apartment in the summer of 2015, the model unit had wood flooring throughout the entire apartment, including the bedrooms. When we signed our lease, we made it a point to request all wood flooring because that is what they were doing in all upgraded apartments and we liked the look in the model home, and we were promised a unit with all wood flooring. We intentionally signed with the Enclave because we wanted to avoid having carpet in our apartment. A week before we moved in, they told us that we would be getting carpet when we moved in. They did not fulfill what they said they would give us, and believe it or not, we were charged to replace our carpets when we moved out. My partner and I do not have any pets or children and never spilled anything on our carpets, but they charged us because they claim there was substantial damage to the carpet. What????? I promise you there wasn’t. The master bedroom is very small, and we only walked on the perimeter of the bed, so naturally dirt will show on the carpet after a year and there was an imprint of where our bed was placed. When I say dirt, I am referring to the normal wear and tear of a carpet after living somewhere for an extended period of time. We barely walked on our carpets with shoes. They didn’t even bother to steam clean the carpets before making the executive decision to replace the carpet. They said that the maintenance are “pros” and they do this “all of the time” so they know, but after doing extensive research online, I learned that it was normal wear and tear and it could have easily been steam washed to look new, as most apartment complexes do. They didn’t charge us to replace one-bedroom carpet, but that is the room we never used, so of course we didn’t track any “dirt” in that room. If you are moving into an apartment with carpet and have pets or children or simply just walk…don’t do it! They will charge you for anything when you move out. I suggest steam cleaning it yourself since that is something they apparently don’t do when someone moves out.5. We lost our ENTIRE $965.00 deposit for them to repaint our apartment and replace the carpets. I have been renting for over 10 years, and never in my life have I lost a deposit. It is STANDARD for an apartment complex to repaint units and clean the apartments, but they didn’t do it and ended up charging us!! They also tried to blame us for scratches INSIDE of the cabinets that were already there when we moved in. MARK EVERYTHING on your move in sheet and report everything! Again, since they have different management every 3 months, there is no consistency and one person will tell you something different from the next! I am very disappointed at how things turned out at the Enclave because we were thrilled when we first moved in, but we feel like they took our money from us. We feel cheated by the current management team and the Aspen Square headquarters. We have been Aspen Square residents in another state previously, but we will NEVER rent at another property again. Again…very disappointing experience and a very unpleasant experience with their management teams.
Well maintained property the Office personnel are helpful in every way the maintenance are very knowledgeable
This was honestly the worst place Ive ever lived. I feel like any of these positive reviews have to be fake because I dont know who could possibly enjoy living here. Luckily my lease was only for 6 months and I was really disappointed that the home I was moving into wasnt ready and I had no choice but to extend my lease a month. But unfortunately I didnt realize that they had not extended my lease a month like I asked. They added a month plus an additional week which is my own fault for not making sure they had the right date but it was sneaky of them to add those extra days that I had no choice of paying for when I wasnt even living there. I had issues since the day I moved in - first, everytime it rained the entire place would smell like mold, which when I asked them to come check they told me to take my trash out because thats what was causing the smell. Im sorry but there is definitely a difference in MOLD smell and a couple banana peels sitting underneath my sink that WAS NOT smelling up my apartment. Then there were roaches which they would spray for but still would creep up. But the worst I saved for last - this place is the LOUDEST place Ive ever lived. You can tell when the people above you are in the shower, the kitchen, flush the toilet, watching TV. You know every time someone goes up or down the stairs especially since the layout of the apartments are horrible. Who puts the bedroom window in the front by the staircase so you can hear literally everything? I complained over and over about my neighbors who would keep me up until 3am repeatedly and they never did anything about it... I am not lying when I say I complained about the noise at least once a week. It would get so bad that I would have to go stay at a friends because I had to be at 5 or 6am for work and couldnt sleep. I saw on a post below that the community replied back and said We have great rapport with our residents and we foster an open environment where any and all issues can be brought to our attention and with that level of communication any issue can always be rectified. THAT IS A LIE AND AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They only care about getting people in the door and taking your money. They do not care about you at all. These places cost wayyyyy too much for what you get. I thought it was supposed to be luxury living but its more like section 8 living.
THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE DO NOT WASTE YOUE MONEY HERE!THE MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE AND IS JUST TRYING TO TRICK YOU IN TO GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS AND THEIR COSTUMERS SASTISFACTION .Like this problem I had with my refrigerator leaking it took them 2 weeks to give me an OLD refrigerator, and when my light was burned the management said they would send someone to fix the light but that person just checked it, and when my washer was tearing my clothes up it took them about 3 weeks to get it fixed and they still charged me for what THEIR washer did, THIS IS IMPORTANT THERE HAVE BEEN MANY THEFT!ROBBERIES AND CARS STOLEN I have experienced with it THERE WAS JUST SOME RANDOM GUY THAT CAME UP TO ME WITH A GUN AND POINTED IT TO MY HEAD AND THREATENED TO SHOOT ME IF I DIDNT GIVE HIM EVERYTHING IN MY POCKET SO I DID THIS WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED IF THE MANAGEMENT HAVE KEPT THE SUCURITY GATE and THE RENT IS SO HIGHT FOR A PLACE SO SMALL IT INCREASES EACH TIME YOU GET THE BILL AND WHEN I WAS GONE FOR A MONTH THE WATER BILL, AND THE TRASH BILL I STILL HAVE TO PAY AND THE IS JUST ONE TRASH CAN JUST ONE AND IT SAYS LUXURY MORE LIKE SECTION 8 SO IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS
We leased for only one year. During that time there were three different staff changes including property managers. A disabled car stood in front of the building we stayed in from the time we moved in until we moved out. Trash piled up on a continuous basis in front of the complex, the neighbors were EXTREMELY noisy, when it gets cold condensation from the window accumulates and when it dries MOLD appears, the water bill is not individual its based on the building youre staying in and the number of occupants living within the unit. I dont know who are writing those other reviews because this development deserves a ZERO rating; and I know for a fact there are other complaints from other tenants who are still living there and previous tenants as well. I could go on, but Im sure I left enough information to heighten your awareness about this community. LUXURY living...says who? Complete and utter false advertisement!!!!
Ive lived here for a little bit now. I have no issues with the complex at all. The office staff is great and the manager, Latora, remembers my name which has never happened before at any other place, and Ive only been up there like twice! Anyway, maintenance is pretty speedy, Ive only had to put in a online request once, besides some stuff right before I moved in. My building is pretty quiet except for my upstairs neighbors were a little busy and had angry girlfriends @ 4am (smh). Which leads me to my only dislike (otherwise they would have gotten a 5). If you dont want to hear a loud neighbor, stay on the 3rd floor. If you dont mind hearing things every now and then, every other floor is just fine. Thanks! Im done!
Love the New Management, very friendly people. The neighborhood is on a bus route and they are constantly doing improvement to the facility.
Fantastic staff, great safe community, and in a beautiful location. If you are looking for a place to live in Tallahassee this is where it should be!
Just moved out of tallahassee for a new job, sad I had to leave the enclave. The amenities were great and the leasing staff was always very helpful, especially Alyssa.
Just moved in a few months ago, seems great so far,and the service is great, the kids be loving it:) D.Mooney
This place is awesome
