I took my mom to sweet escape nail lounge. Customer service is really good. Service is good too. My mom loved her pedicure. ❤ thank you for making it special for me
I got a pedicure done yesterday. The lady doing my pedicure was named Michelle, she was so gentle and nice! Also the nail polish looks so good! She actually took her time and didn’t rush like the other ladies would. I will ask her for again next time.
Sweet Nail Escape is okay. However, the services seemed rushed and the environment is not relaxing at all. With so many nail techs and clients it is hard to feel relaxed in this environment. Not to mention each service is rushed, subpar and on to the next. Therefore, I would say the services here are okay.
I wanted to try this place out and was extremely disappointed. The service was very rushed. Tammy used my foot basin water for my manicure, I was cut by cuticle clippers, and my nails were very uneven and not the shape I asked for (mind you asked nicely if she could shape them and I was ignored). My pedicure was decent but honestly the manicure experience ruined my whole time. Find another nail salon in your area.
Tried this place out, because our normal place was closed for renovations. Inconsistent on pricing. Asked for 2 shellac manicures. I picked a regular color and my friend picked a color that cost 10 more. Told us the price upgrade, 10 was not a problem. I received a paraffin wax hand treatment I didnt ask for. Friend didnt receive it and they charged her 25 more instead of 10. My nail color is patchy and bumpy. Tried to charge her 5 extra for cuticle trim, but declined. I wasnt even offered a cuticle trim? How is this not included..? Wont be back.
Not my place to get nails done but my daughter is a #1 fan and loves Jody
I have been coming here for years with my daughters and they always take great care of us. Today was extra special because my appt was an hour before closing and I brought my daughter with me. Her nails took a little longer and resulted in us being there past closing. The owners as well as the nail tech Cindy were very patient and didn’t rush us out, she took her time and made sure my daughter was satisfied with her nails. Cindy did such a great job on her nails! And as always Jessica and Krystal took great care of me! Customer for life! :)
My go to nail place! Highly recommend
Yikes, where do I start. Ok, so I come in for a simple, one color, coffin-shaped full set of nails. Pretty cut and dry. After prepping my nails, the nail tech tries to dip my fingers in COMMUNAL dipping powder pots. That is extremely unsanitary. God knows if the person who stuck their fingers in the pot before me had a contagious disease or not. Also, I asked for a coffin shaped nail, and got a glorified rectangle despite multiple requests from me to please fix the shape. (Check out the photo). As icing on the cake, the nail tech ripped her gloves at the fingers several times and didnt bother to get a new pair of gloves. Gross. After 2 hours and still not happy with my nails that I paid a lot for, I gave up, paid and left grossed out and unhappy. I wont be coming back unless standards are raised. Thanks for the good times, Sweet Escape 😭
Little to no wait time. Impressed. Update: down one star. Nails began falling off the very same day. Laura added more glue when I had stop by the next day for a pedi. Couple of days later, nails began to lift from the sides! Ugh...$50 bucks! I guess it depends who does ur nails.
I went there today to get shellac nails for my party coming up. My nail tech was Karen, she was gentle taking off my nail polish as most of the time when I get my nail polish removed, the nail techs are rough. There was pain on my left middle finger so I expressed that there was pain and worked around it to make sure she didnt cause more pain. She was on the phone with her AirPods which is a pet peeve of mine as its a bit unsanitary. When she was removing my calluses, she was using a tool to remove them but after she used the tool, she would use she own nails without gloves to make sure they were completely gone and for me thats unsanitary as she never washed her hands or used hand sanitizer. When she was buffering my nails, she did it very rough and it started to burn even though it was only for a few seconds. I did not express this so I dont blame her for continuing doing it roughly as she didnt know. Other than that this is a nice nail salon and will return.
I went in and asked for acrylic nails. they said ok, so when i went to go sit in the chair, i picked my length for the nails and she kept telling me to call my mom to ask her if the length of nails would be okay for me. i told her it’s okay, i don’t need to call her. she insisted and said that ppls moms come back and ask for a refund when the child’s nails are “too” long. she asked so many times. i said it’s okay i don’t need to call her. she also had airpods in and i think it’s very unsanitary.
Best place to get your nails done. I love the snacks they have at the front. Makes you feel welcome and comfortable. They are so detailed and worth the price. Go to Jessica, shes the best!!!💅🏾💕
My shellac was put on so nicely and the gel powder overlay I got under it was thin and beautiful. My nails didn’t look bulky at all. A very natural look.
Beautiful work wish they offer discounts for healthcare workers
Great place to get services!
Trish is a fabulous nail artist!!
My wife and I do couples pedis, mainly because my toenails become talons without 3rd party intervention. We sit adjacent, get some complementary wine, and are pressured to upgrade to deluxe services. We decline, and the fun begins. I particularly love the hot rock massage. Im not a fan of the foot callous scrubbing because it tickles so much. Overall, its a good time for Regular Joe and his wife.
I’ve been coming here for about 6 years! I have tried numerous other salons due to how far this is from my house, but Sweet Escape is by far the best! Every time I try another salon I am unhappy with the shape of my nails, quality of work, and the service. I’ve never had a tech I wasn’t happy with. Everyone is always friendly and attentive. Vivian goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy with your service.
Very nice ladies working at sweet escape! Clean stations, they wore masks the whole time. Great pedicure!
This is probably my go-to nail place now that I’ve gotten into the dipping powder life. Jenny did my nails, and I previously had acrylics on, which she removed then started a dipping powder process with me. She did tips, then dipped them in powder. These nails are so insanely cute!! I paid $55 for her to remove my powder acrylic set, then switch me over to a dipping set. Definitely coming back, and $55 is nothing for everything she did to get these nails for me. Take in mind, she said this normally would’ve costed $45 but she had to take off my last set of acrylics before switching me over to dipping powder. I love this place, it’s so nicely decorated and makes the entire experience that much better.
Amazing service and staff is very kind!!!
I do want to start off by saying that I usually always have a great experience here and always feel like Im being taken care of. I usually see Maya but she wasnt there for my visit and when she isnt I really dont mind seeing the other nail techs because in my opinion they are very caring and give great service but today was different I saw Megan and I will be honest she did do a good job shaping my nails and applying the dipping powder... however she was on the phone which is my biggest pet peeve, she wasnt really wasnt giving me the service Im usually used to, until her manager or the owner walked by and said something to her. It also took an hour and a half on a service that usually takes an hour... I will say to management just to talk to her about that so you wouldnt have any other customer complain about her or the business
This was my second time coming here and i’m never going back. I usually go to a different salon near my house but i thought that since i was in the area, this would be a good place to try out. BAD IDEA! i’ve NEVER gotten an infected toe before and after this salon visit, my toe got swollen and red and there was a bunch of pus coming out of it :( In hindsight, it looked like they were reusing materials cause they didn’t take them out of sanitation pouches or anything, their tools were just sitting in random little plastic bins in the carts and they were just using them. i’m not gonna post pictures bc that’s gross and i don’t think anyone wants to see that. however, just be warned because my friend who went a day before me also got a really bad infection and had to go to the doctors to get it cleaned out :/ don’t go to this salon.
Never have had an issue here. Always can get in due to having so many workers. Never have any issues with anyone.. no cuts... nada. Also they give a really bomb a** pedicure for 30$ with hot wax, massage, hot stones, paint... the works. It always shocks me as it’s their basic pedicure and I get fully pampered with some wine given... love it.
There is no wait time at sweet escape lounge and my nails majority of the time are so lovely. I want to personally commend Amy, one of the nails techs, who did a shellac manicure for me today. Very neat!
Love this place! I always make an appointment... then I’m in an out really fast. I use the me two ladies every time that way they know me and what I want and need! I easy access from Hwy 59 South, SW freeway near Hwy 6...Everyone is very friendly! You get what you pay for!
I loved it. I got a gel mani and pedi. It was totally worth the extra I paid. They massage you and you can tell they are really making an effort to keep you as a customer. I love the color I picked, its so pretty! Everything came out to $100 w/ a tip. They deserve it, one lady does your nails and one does your feet. Its also so pretty inside!
Nice place, I like the Christmas trees super cozy and I adore my nails
Excellent job Sue and Thuy! Great diversity music is always in rotation 🙂
Love my Tammy love for my manicure, I will be back foe Mimi love for my pedicure.
Great place to get you nails done. Very professional and upscale.
Wonderful place to visit
I love this place. Ask for Jodi
Ive always loved going to Sweet Escape. Social distancing, comfortable, relaxing.
Best fill in and pedicure Ive had since moving here from Atlanta!
Loved it, need to go more often 😁
The safety procedures they are taking now are good but how they do nails is still not good. Then when you enter some girl just stands in front of looking at you until she rudely asks what you wants and come to find out she works their. Then during check out same girl takes my payment and just plain rude.
I love this place, almost never a wait unless you have a specific girl, always quick and do a great job. Good music, complimentary wine and sodas, super cute decor, large selection of colors and really nice staff. Love them!!
Clean. Always friendly staff. Yen is amazing at dip manicure!!
Theyre being extra cautious! Wiping after every customer. Great and nice personnel!
Ask for Jodi. Shes been doing my nails for years
Love the entire atmosphere at this place. As long as Jenny who does my nails and Kimberly who does my toes never leave I will forever continue coming here. Nice vibe here! I love the selection of music played here. Very relaxing unlike most nail shops are hectic. I gave it 4 stars because the lady who appears to either be part owner or related to the owner isn’t so friendly... beautiful fun place though. Love it here ! #Pricy but worth it.
Jessica gave me a great nail job! She was very engaging and provided exactly what I needed. It was my first visit, but it wont be my last!
Daughter loves it!
I have been going here for a few months now and I love this place I especially love my nail Tech. Her name is Amber she does an amazing job every time and she takes her time she doesn’t rush or make me feel like she is rushing me. I recommend this place and Amber.
I was looking for a new nail salon and came across this one. My first time there was a bit busy, but I was in and out in about an hour and half. I got a powder full set and deluxe pedicure along with an eyebrow wax. Eva was so sweet and she did an amazing job on my nails. Definitely an great nail tech. I was able to have 2 people working on me at the same time so I did not have to wait for the services to be done separately. There were approximately 25+ techs in there working which is probably why I did not notice anyone waiting more than 5 minutes. I will definitely be back. The customer service matched the decor in the nail salon.
Service was great. Atmosphere was excellent. It would be great to have senior citizen discount.
I got both a shellac pedicure & manicure, not even 4 days later the shellac peeled up on my fingers. A few days later I had 2 finger nails split in half & both of my big toe nails cracked in half. NEVER had that happen before. Must be poor quality shellac.
Ive been here a few times, but it seems like its getting more business and the quality of work is declining because of the amount of people that come in. The wait can be overwhelming because of the amount of people. I like to get my eyebrows done by one person every time I come in because I love the way she does my eyebrows... But when I request her the front desk gives attitude and is very rude. Which I can care less about just get the lady who does a great job on my eyebrows. Id rather someone I know does a great job than walk out with eyebrows I have to wear for a few weeks that I hate. So, that is only reason I come and put up with attitudes from the owner and front desk... My eyebrow lady is sweet and very kind. Love her!
Awesome Service
Overwhelming experience. Appreciated the cleanliness but wouldn’t return. My pedicure lasted 1 1/2 usually it last 3 weeks.
I have been coming to sweet escape for over a year now. I have loved this place up until now. The management has recently changed and the service has become worse and worse. I told Lisa that I wanted not too short not too long, coffin shape acrylic nails. I previously had a bright cherry red and needed a whole new set if I wanted a lighter color. The first 2 colors I chose were not able to be used in which Lisa didn’t specify why. So I finally went with white. My nails turned out to be so short and completely square shape. There is also a chip on my thumb. A few of my nails are uneven and slanted. I came back later in the day to see if they could have it fixed and Lisa was very rude, telling me that it was my fault and that she can not fix it. I am very unhappy with the treatment I received from the staff and IF I ever go back to Sweet Escape, I will definitely not be seeing Lisa.
It is classy, clean, relaxing and the ambiance is great. Highly recommend
Need serious replacement of front end staff. Never coming back to this location and it was my go to. Services are great but I’m not spending any time or money anywhere that is going to treat me like I don’t belong when there’s plenty of other nail salons to choose from.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER & EVEN POORER QUALITY!!! I walked in, the receptionist’s greeting was “yes”. I told her that I’d like a shellac manicure. The technician seats me. I give her my color selection, she’s gone maybe 10 min. I can see her walking around. Finally she makes it back only to tell me they don’t have the color. She didn’t offer another color selection so finally I asked if she could just do a French manicure. Her work was so sloppy and the experience was so poor I finally just that she give me a manicure. I would never return to this place. Although I left a TIP (to insure proper service) there NOTHING proper about the service. Just sloppy!!!
My go to nail shop in Sugar Land. Even on busy days there are so many chairs there’s always little to no wait. The options for colors, pedicures, dipping, metallic or matting they have it all. They even have complimentary snacks, drinks and wine. Most of the time my 5 year old comes with me to get her manis and pedis too and Crystal is so sweet, gentle and patient with her.
Prices do not reflect quality at all.
Mimi and Christina are the best! I love my nails every time I go to this place ;)
Always love the experience at this salon
I came here for a bit of pampering that I desperately needed. Had a wonderful pedicure and had my eyebrows cleaned up. It was wonderful and I enjoyed my time here immensely.
One of the technicians (Jenny, not her real name bit one she uses at shop) told me that she didnt know how to do hangnails or get the skin from under the nails while I was getting pedicure. So she said she could not do it she would go find someone else. She got up to go look. They can be quite rude and nasty there especially at front desk when you walk in ( the young one with the glasses especially) but the work is good and have had no infections. Very clean...just nasty attitudes, personalities with fonky dispositions. Thats why I spend my money there but would go to a different place with better people if I knew but dont wanna risk it.
I’ve been to this place before but today when I went I was really over it. (TRINA) the nail lady made it so obvious she was talking about me that she even had her little coworkers next to us look at me and giggle every 10 minutes.. she made me feel so uncomfortable. I may not know what they’re saying but it’s so obvious when they’re talking mess. ON TOP of it she messed up on my thumb and ended up being so crooked but that must’ve been because she was rushing. She honestly didn’t even deserve the $5 dollar tip I gave her.
Excellent in all aspects
Staff was rude. They think people dont know what they are saying when theyre not speaking English but its not that hard to pick out the words I do know. Then another staff member tried totranslate it into something nice but they seriously just sit there throwing shade at the customers theyre over charging
My mom, my sister and I were so excited for a girls nail day. We asked for 2 manicures and 3 pedicures. They forgot about my sisters manicures and she wind up not getting one. It took 10-15 minutes for my assigned nail tech to show up/start my pedicure. She kept leaving to get stuff and taking extremely long breaks during my pedicure. My mom and sister enjoyed theirs but were disappointed in their actual paint job. Their pedicures started 15 minutes prior to mine and we still finished at almost the same time. I didn’t feel like the attention was on me. Maybe she had something going on. Long story short it was very overpriced for the service we received.
My friend and I were looking for a place to have our monthly pedicure dates. She chose this place because they offer complimentary wine. The service is great depending on who you have. Thats why I loved the little punch cards, they write their name on it so I know who to ask for and who to avoid for the next trip. The last time I was there they lady seemed like she didnt want to give me a pedicure, instead she gave me my first ingrown toe nail according to my podiatrist. Ive been hesitant to return but the basic package is lush and you get rewards for visiting often. Considering it was an isolated event and Ive always gotten great service Im reluctantly keeping this as my go to spot. At least until I get a high recommendation of another.
Sweet escape had been my go to for at least four years, however theyve recently transitioned to different management. All of the great customer service and techs left with the previous team. Ive made appointments several times and not once have all scheduled services began remotely on time. Today an appointment was made for 5:45 and services did not begin until after 7:00pm. I asked the manager the issue and not only would he not speak to me (a paying customer) but he also laughed and shrugged. The techs I deal with are great! But management is going to run this place right into the ground. Dont come here unless your schedule is extremely open. They definitely lack consideration for customers time.
The staff at the front desk needs alot of training in customer service. She did not have a clue, very rude. That was a big turn off for me
The manager here is DISRESPECTFUL. I have been a loyal customer here for years. I tried dip for the first time and was told by TWO employees that there was a 2 week guarantee. My nails chipped within 8 days, so I went in with my card (they write the date). The owner told me there was a 1 week guarantee and I had been told wrong. He then called from his phone, the woman who did my nails. He had ME TALK TO HER (talk about unprofessional). He said he would fix it but was so rude about it and was lecturing me on the policy (not his employee). I was very uncomfortable and will NEVER step foot in here again.
This is my go to! I recently switched over to dipping powder and made the mistake of going to another salon that was close to my job ! Came back less than 2 weeks to get a new set because the previous salon did a horrible job. Mia did my nails and they were honestly the best, they look natural. I also go to Christina for my shellac pedicure!
Beautiful space and welcoming professional environment. BOMB color selection. Minimal wait due to large staff...quality is fairly consistent. Theres a good number of skilled techs however Ive yet to establish a favorite. My #2 goto nail spot.
Great time. Nice and helpful staff. Clean. I was referred by a friend and she was right.
I really enjoyed my first time getting a mani-pedi here! Elaine was my nail tech and she did a great job, was friendly and finished in great time so I wasnt there forever. Yen did my feet and they look amazing, I will definitely be back and just sent my friend to try it out as well. The massage chairs are great and the salon looks really nice inside, they play really fun music, just a great overall first impression. They have a ton of selections on shellac which I also went crazy for, I highly recommend giving them a shot.
My go to nail shop in Sugarland. Nice atmosphere. Can be extremely busy on weekends. A little pricey.
I love this place. I drive almost 25 minutes to come here for my nails. They always have great colors and fun designs to choose from. I did deduct a star for wait time but in the end its very worth it. If you want to get pampered to the max this is the place.
Best nail shop Ive ever visited. Lots of technician. Fast and curious
The first time I went to Sweet Escape Nail Lounge I had a wonderful time! Even though I had to wait a little while, it was so worth it. I got the best shellac nails I had ever gotten and I vowed to go back. Well today was not as good. I went to go get my nails done and have a relaxing time with my friend but instead get a little chunk of my finger snipped off with nail clippers. It hurt so bad and the nail lady tried to hide it from me. My finger was throbbing but it did not look so bad from what I could see. After we paid and went home, many of my fingers started hurting. I then noticed that 5 of my fingers were bleeding surrounding the nail and the chunk she took out. PLUS the nails had rippled for some reason. I cannot even run my hands underneath warm water with them hurting severely. Needless to say, I will not be returning for awhile and will be calling them in the morning.
If you need a place to get your nails done in a reasonable price and time, go there. Ive never been disappointed. A wide variety of colors to choose from.
I love this place! The owners here are AMAZING! Everytime that I walk in they already know who Im there to see lol Jenna, Lily and Helen are the BEST! I dont let anyone else touch my nails. Keep up the great work guys!
Very rude!!!!My Mom and I want yesterday To get are hands and feet done, the ladies That work on us where very nice and did a good job. But when my Mom went home that night her nail broke, my mom call the Salon the lady who answered Said that my can come back in the morning to get her nail fix .When my mom got up this morning another one of her nail broke. When she got to the salon the lady at the front desk Told my mom she had to wait 1hoursBecause they were all booked up . My mom said she was not going to say and the lady started to laughAnd said oh well . Mom left the salon feeling upsetThat’s not how you are supposed trying your customers
I got to this salon on a regular and I love it! I live in Pearland and I drive over every two weeks! My favorite nail tech is Ann!! She is amazing! Her work is always neat. She takes her time, gives great suggestions and actually talks to me unlike some places I have been to. I have never waited more than a few minutes for someone to get started on my nails. My first pedicure was not up to my standards however I talked to them the next time and let them know exactly what I expected and it has never been a problem again. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for one of a kind, creative and innovative nails!
Oh my goodness. Talk about nickel and diming EVERYTHING. I’m surprised they didn’t charge me “$5 more” to sit in their massage chairs! I wanted a regular pedicure and I picked an OPI regular (non-shellac) color. It had a silver lid, and she told me, “for this OPI it’s $5.00 more because it lasts longer.” I’m all for higher end and paying more for nice people, a great job, and pretty atmosphere, but the only thing nice here are the massage chairs. The update on everything is beyond here and annoyed me.
The nails look good as soon as you get them done but they break after 2 days. every time i go they last a week at most and for the prices it’s ridiculous. i went to get one nail put back on and a refill and it costed me more than the first time i got them all done. they don’t post the prices anywhere so they charge you whatever they want.
If I could, I would given them ZERO stars!! The manager is RUDE and has no respect for customers. As she was talking to me on the phone she yelled at me after her company overcharged me! When she completed her sentence, after degrading me she simply hung up in my face. They proceeded to refund me (so they say). Months later I am STILL waiting on my $20. But Ive given up. Karma will get the best of them. Would NEVER recommend. Looks like a sweat shop anyways lol
This place is always busy for a reason. Great service, although it is on the pricier side (full set acrylic w/gel color is $50), it lasts for 3 + weeks. Hanna helped me today and Im definitely coming back to her in the future!
I have been going there for over 10 years. The service is fast but the cost way too high. $220 for my 10 year old daughter to get her nails painted and for me to get a pedi and full set. My nails are fine but not great. They have gotten way too greedy. I will not be coming back.
The whole time I was here NO ONE returned my smile. It was like everyone was too good to SMILE!? My tech said ONE word to me shape. She left so much white junk on the underside of the nail that it immpossible for me to get them clean so they will be coming off soon. complete waist of money.
Great for gel. Normal manicures not so much. I always feel rushed to be in an out of a seat here.
