This was my first time using Hana nails. There were things I liked: the atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was very friendly. But I feel overall, the negatives outweighed the positives. My friend and I had called ahead and scheduled an appointment, but waited for about 30 minutes. They did have us wait in the massage chairs with water which was nice, but it grew cold as we waited. No big deal though—waiting never killed anyone. Then, we asked for the signature pedicures. We got to talking with each other and didn’t realize 1) they skipped the heel buff, etc. which is listed as a basic and 2) they threw in hot stones (Which is a part of the package above). At the end, we ended up paying for the package above (when they even repeated the “signature pedicure” back to us when we asked for it). **I do realize I should have been paying more attention and caught these things, but I was trying to relax and mindlessly be pampered. Lol.My friend also got a manicure. It turned out nicely (a French tip) but she was cut twice by the cuticle tool and it drew blood. You could still see the blood in the clear coat, along her nail bed, when she was done. They were kind about it, and apologetic, though. So, in a nutshell:positives—nice facility, relaxing atmosphere, nice staff.Negatives: they didn’t perform everything listed in the basic package for a pedicure. They added parts of the more costly package without consent. They charged for the more costly package. There is a wait, even with a scheduled appointment. Blood was drawn (but I assume that can happen at times). My advice: Give it a shot. The staff are very nice and the facility is clean. Just be very aware of what services are being given (or not given) and what you are being charged for. Also, I would only make an appointment when you are not pressed for time.
Just horrible. I went in yesterday for a basic shellac manicure with a hot pink color and black tips. Later that day there was no longer any pink color remaining and only the black tips remained. I would not recommend.
Only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the first time I went I had a good experience. Not coming back, my nails were not even a fraction of what I wanted, the marble looked like my newborn could have done better, and one nail isn’t even painted all the way. Asked for the ombré, and was told no. Not even a reason why. Just no. No is right. Never again!
Ive gone here for several pedicures and manicures. Each time has been fantastic. I usually have Tara do my manicures and she does great work. I love the environment. Its clean and relaxing.
I’m very upset let me just say, I love the people and all they are very sweet, but they did my toes horrible, and cut me and I think my toe is getting infected. I had them put a false nail on my big toes and one toe nail isn’t even connected to the false nail at the end $70 for what? My toes been burning for days .
Everything was very clean. Very friendly staff. Followed proper sanitary guidelines.
Had called in advance to make sure they had time. I waited half n hour in the pedicure chair and no one showed up. I had limited time and went with a friend to do it together. She was done when finally someone showed up to do mine. I told them I don’t want to do it anymore. The owner was very unapologetic and was almost irritated at me for not being understanding. Wasted my time and met some unprofessional people on my work day!
It was nice, but not great.
My first time there. I felt like my pedicurist seemed to rush through. She scrubbed top hard on my legs & over & over in the same place rather than moving all around to make it enjoyable. When scrubbing my heels, etc, she scrubbed so hard I had to pull my foot away as it hurt so badly. I might go back but would ask for someone else.
We came in for two pedicures sat for an hour had to get the water change due to sitting to long and it getting cold I was a regular customer also African American two white girls walked in and the workers went straight to them and started doing their pedis after we sat for a hour they didn’t offer discount they laughed and said no discount didn’t apologize or anything very unprofessional and I will never be back and y’all will never get my money again and I will b going on Facebook and other social media to warn them about the unprofessional employees and the owners!!
Clean nice staff and they do good work
I didnt get the design that I wanted they did plaid instead of checkered I was a walk in so I knew it Id probably have to wait but I was there for 4 hours
It was my birthday so I went to pampered myself. So I went they told me did I wanted to try the cat eye design so I am like sure Ill do that. So as the ladie doing my nails it wasnt getting done right than she didnt put my design on my nail than she had to do it again she got aggressive like she mad it not my fault I told you what I wanted so I didnt like that not only did they made me late for my appointment due to them messing up and had to do it over it still didnt come out like I wanted or should I say how it supposed to have been . I am disappointed and paid $42 for something that I didnt get. I will not be coming back thats for sure.
Even before the coronavirus, I felt satisfied with the level of cleanliness and sanitation at Hana, so I felt comfortable coming back after things reopened. It’s very clean and professional. I always get what I expect for my services. My favorite local place for pedicures!
First time I went there because it was recommended by a friend. Her nails always look great. I got a dip. Nail color turned out nothing like the sample color I chose. No biggie. But when I got in my car and put in my readers I could see how uneven and wavy the dip was on every finger. Actual they look like like a messed up nail polish. Of course I should have went back and complained and had them redone but just didn’t have time for that. Lesson learned. I don’t be back.
First time going. The gentleman was very nice but he talked a lot how his hands were hurting and how over worked he was. I requested French pedicure and French manicure. He put my feet in warm water, I was waiting to see if he would put some type of foot soak powder in water but nope he did not. Just warm water. He did not massage my feet or nothing. Just clipped nails and put nail polish on them. No lotion nothing. Now time for manicure. Still no massage just clipped a couple of my nails that were uneven and put polish on them and he was done. He did not put a top coat on nothing. Seemed like he was preoccupied because I did not want any of the extras that he suggested. As other obvious long-standing customers came in for services that was much expensive than mine he lost focus with my service.$53 dollar later basically just for nail polish I feel like I overpaid and under service. Came home did my own pedicure and have to put a topcoat on my fingernails because they had already start chipping by the next day my toenails polish where chipped and all my finger nails polish were chipped. Very dissatisfied had to go on vacation with a manicure and pedicure that look like it was a month old but in true fact it was only a day old. Unless you are a regular customer that spend a lot of money or first-time customer the purchase the more expensive packages. Good luck 👍
First time coming here. Coming to get an overlay-$30, very quick to be seated on worked with. Very friendly. They offer drinks. Shop is very clean and doesnt smell like acrylic and body heat....Will defintely be coming back!
I was a walk in and the took me right away. She was fast and efficient. I asked for a glitter color and it wasnt going to look the way I wanted so the nail technician got a tool and scooped out the glitter and used a toothpick to individually add the flecks to each nail. You dont get better service than that. Very impressed.
My nail is falling off green and nasty af from letting someone do my nails here
Nice Ambiance but no proper communication with the people there. You tell something they do something. It is little expensive too and always lets you wait even though you call and go.
I followed Hannah here from her previous salon & just love her. Im thrilled that shes opened her own place. Its new so of course its clean & neat but the layout is great with lots of big, comfy pedicure chairs & great prices. You wont be disappointed here!
Very clean, and great customer service!
Walked in to get my eyebrows done yesterday. She did a great job probably the best wax Ive ever gotten. Will be coming back for sure.
Wonderful place and excellent job on dip nails. Will be back for sure!
Im going to give 4. There are things that could use improvement but a lot of them are still learning. They always do their best to make things right or fix anything that you dont like. They are super friendly, loveeeee the scenery. And I recommend lynn when it comes to nails. She really takes her time and I love that. They also have discount card which is a big plus.
Pedicure was ok, but the manicure was a disaster. I went in with a nail broke way back and was told to use a dip to let the nail grow out. I wanted a silk, but listened to the lady there. Dip was done on Monday after Memorial Day and by Wednesday it was clear the dip had air pockets all along the area near the nail bed. These pockets kept getting larger, until I snagged it and half of it popped off. Next day, before I could get across town and fix the mess, another 1/4 came off and the broke nail was pulled off with it.Still have small bit stuck on my nail. Dont use dip, its a total waste of time and will only hurt your nails as they snag and get pulled off.
I consistently have good pedicures here. It’s clean and the staff are friendly.
Hana did a wonderful job on my nails love it
Just got a $40 set of acrylics. Theyre all different lengths, theyre all different shapes, and when I got the nerve to ask her to fix something, she didnt understand and actually made it worse. I never leave bad reviews, but Im literally livid.
. i went to get my eyebrows there yesterday, i was a walk in . this was my first time getting my eyebrows waxed and i experienced little pain . the service was professional and paid attention to my brows . they were trimmed, waxed, and plucked to the perfect shape ! i will definitely be returning to this shop again !
I had gotten acrylics nails and not even a week later they all popped off. I went back and got them re done but they are already lifting the nail polish chipped an hour later and I had gotten shellac and those are supposed to last a long time. They also don’t talk to you very much they just sit there and talk to the other workers in there language.
Love this place.
Hanna did a great quick fill!! Will definitely go back!!
Pitiful “6 minute” massage. Not worth the money only to get rug burns from the buffer he was using.
I followed Hana here to her new nail salon. I can only speak for her because I wont let anybody else do my pedicure but it is always perfect. If you have trouble with ingrown nails, she is the expert. I have had so many bad pedicures at other places. I moved to gulf shores, Alabama but I wait to get my nails done every month when I am in Springfield because i know it will be done right.
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!! The guy that was doing my nails was having a screaming fight with the owner. He stopped working on my nails several times so that he could yell at her. My nails do not look good, they are uneven and just sloppy looking. He stormed out after he finished with my nails and the owner didn’t say sorry or anything to me. WORST nail experience I have ever had.
Got acrylic nails today and she never asked what shape I wanted, just gave me ugly square nails and left enough room at the cuticles that it looks like I need a fill already and theyre uneven. Plus she rushed me and was rough, not sure why they werent busy...
