I went there because I blew a rear tire and had donut spare on and they fixed me right up with excellent service. I even bought new wiper blades and they installed them. The lady at the front main counter I believe her name was Dana was super nice and helpful. Good place! 👍😊

These guys are my favorite. I had a tire repaired and they accidentally broke my tire pressure sensor. They replaced it and were happy to do it. Also, when you get a set of tires, you get a free balancing. They serve old fashioned coffee and have a sweet waiting room inside and at seating area outside too!

Edit: While my original review was not good, and I didnt have the best experience, I want to post an update and change my rating. The owner of this business heard about my experience and reached out to me. He has been very kind and is making sure I get taken care of. I am going back tomorrow to get new, better tires.Original review:The people here a very nice. However, when I called and asked about tires for my SUV, they told me what they recommended and assured me that even though they werent expensive, they were really good quality. I drove on them for a while and went back because they were so aggressively loud that I thought there must be something really wrong. The awesome tech that helped me when I came back explained they would never recommend these tires unless you couldnt afford something else. Then after checking my tires informed me that whoever put them on had seriously over filled them to 45 PSI when they should be 33 at most. Its confusing because I didnt imply that I wanted the cheapest tires, I would have happily paid more for tires that are actually good. And this place has such good reviews, but I am disappointed for sure.

I inquired about tires for my husband’s truck recently. I called 4 other tire shops and did not get a call back. Schmunk’s was the only place to call me back. The owner Dan did some amazing research for me getting me the best tire and value for my money. My husband Loves his 4 new cooper stt pros. I liked Schmunk’s so much I am going to purchase new rims and tires for my car as well this week. I will never go to another business for tires. This is an outstanding local family owned business. This place was a tremendous help, and completely unexpected. I was in need of a shop to remove a bearing on my transmission that had broke, but no shop was open and the Honda dealership was unwilling to help. After calling all over, Napa recommended Schmunks and we drove down there. We show up and some guy with glasses grabs a chisel and hammer and snacks that bearing off and throws the new one on (the picture shows my transmission’s gear columns and the top bearing is the one he replaced). We were there maybe 5 minutes, after looking all morning for someone to help. This place saved me! Will recommend to friends and family in that area.

While the service I received was friendly and efficient it was disappointing to see how minimal their Covid-19 precautions are. I chose Schmunks to do a tire repair because they had gotten so many good reviews. But when the feed store in my little community takes better precautions than a busy business in Springfield, and therefore better care of its staff and customers, good reviews pale in this day and age if a business isnt going to take this pandemic seriously and protect its staff and customers.

This is the only experience Ive had at Schmunks, unfortunately I wont be returning. They did the same job on my Ford Escape twice, the seal they replaced failed both times. They sent me to a transmission shop in Eugene who confirmed they installed the seal incorrectly and used an after-market seal rather than the OEM Ford part.Schmunks paid for the service at the transmission shop. After picking up my Escape from the transmission shop I received a copy of the bill, the transmission shop charged less than half for the same job compared to Schmunks.Yesterday I went into Schmunks to request a refund of the difference, I dont see a way for them to justify doing a job on my car that failed twice and then paying half the price for another shop to do it properly.They refused to refund the difference of about $110. They said the transmission shop gave them a business to business discount and I would have paid more to the transmission shop if I had gone there and paid myself. I followed up with the transmission shop to confirm this and they said no, they did not give a discount to Schmunks and that the difference should have been refunded to me. I agreed that Schmunks should have refunded the difference to me or passed it along to the transmission shop.I gave Schmunks an opportunity to make this right, now I wont be returning for any future work with them.

Fast and professional. I called to get my brakes done. I told them I was starting a new job that Tuesday and I really needed them done before then. They got me in that Monday to make sure they were done before I had to start driving from Springfield to Harrisburg. Im sure I will be a long time customer.

I was needing some brake adjustment work on my older Chevy pickup. I had made an appointment for Saturday. Come Saturday, I call in to confirm my appointment. Oops, sorry, no one actually made an appointment for you. Okay, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, rescheduled for the following Monday morning. Reduced work scope to a break flush to make the turn around quicker. This shouldn’t take more than an hour (have flushed myself in under an hour). Checked on my truck an hour in and it’s sitting with nobody working on it. Now two hours in, I’m late for work and still unclear when it will be done. I will never come here again. Mediocre service and poor scheduling and work turn around. My advise, pay a little bit more my money and go to Les Schawbs. Don’t waste your time and money here.

I always have great experience here. I get my tires from them, they are great quality. They do rotation and pressure check each time for free since I got my tires through them too. I thought going to the bugger businesses would be better but havent opined a difference. The people who work here work their assets off, are friendly and great! I wouldnt buy tires anywhere else. Oh they also do other stuff like Belts and oil change which is nice. And they are locally owned! However recently I have gone in to get new tires, called them at least 4days prior to order the tires and then show up to my appointment to find out that the tires arent ordered. This has happened twice. And on top of that I feel like they dont always have the greatest customer service. I asked for the lowest priced tires since Im on a budget, so the gave me 15k tires, but never told me I could get 65k miles from only $3 more. Seriously?

Reasonably priced, they have some experienced crew members and they have never tried to upsell me.

I go to Schmunks for all of my auto service. My car is a 1996, so lots of things need repair or general service. They havent tried to jack up my bill and seem to be honest and efficient. The staff are really great and very friendly. I recommend calling first to determine the best day/time for the service you need, as certain mechanics handle special services (such as new brakes). Prices are very reasonable.

I ended up with a flat tire on our way to Schmunks for my husbands appointment with the truck. It actually was more than a flat tire, the rim was damaged as well, as I hit a divider that was not marked, and was unseen by me when preparing to get into the turn lane.The employee came over to where I was, put the spare tire on, and then phoned to see if a different business would be able to get us another rim. They could - it took two days, and was $315. A new one would have been well over $900.The employee really didnt have to do that, but he did. Good business.Also, it was Christmas time, and they had Merry Christmas, not seasons greetings. I thanked them for that. They were surprised to hear me say that, as many people complain about Christmas as it has Christ in the greeting.I will return to Schmunks in a heartbeat, and for certain will and have shared this with our friends.A great business - going out of their way to be completely honest, competitive, and do a great job! They changed my wifes oil and rotated her tires. But somehow they didnt put the oil filter on all the way causing the oil filter to blow off and dump all 4 and a 1/2 courts on my driveway. Then the following day they did not have the check ready for the towing bill and she still doesnt have her car ready because they didnt have the balls to driver 8 blocks home to pick up her car this place sucks

So I called them yesterday and they find me a pair of used trailer tires and took my name and told me they would hold them for me and when I came in today to get them they had sold them to someone else. I do not recommend this place because they lie

In my one and only experience here, my vehicles alignment was not aligned properly and I was also talked into spending a lot of money on other parts (that due to the events following) I now question if it was even really needed. We took the vehicle back a 2nd time to give them a chance to correct the issue. After that we took it to another shop who fixed it properly. At first the owner was very responsive to my concerns and was offering a solution. He keeps responding to my emails that he wants to get this set right, but nothing happens months and months later. Seems to me that these guys are just a bunch of talk.***Edited to add a response to the Schmunks Team comment on my review:Again you say youd like the chance to make it right for me. Actions speak louder than words. You keep saying youd like to make it right and you offer a reimbursement, but have yet to follow through. You have all my contact information. These guys are pros. Good people who won’t steer you wrong. I went in for two new tires and they helped me find an issue with my rotors and calipers. They called around for best prices on parts and on previous visits they’ve been generous with their prices for parts and labor. They aren’t marking up things at ridiculous prices like other places you might go. They do more than tires!!!

Lucky to get one star I called they said they would be able to get right on it for transmission service told one and half hour five and half hours later. The guy doing the work was so slow spent most of the time in bathroom never again I did auto repair for 45 year he would not last one day in a real shopreal shop

AAA recommended this shop when we had car trouble on a Friday night road trip to CA. They were open Saturday at 8AM and able to weave us into their busy schedule. Rapid, accurate diagnosis, friendly services, and well-managed expectations resulted in our being back on the road before lunch time without getting fleeced. We are very thankful and enthusiastically recommend Schmunks for honest service.

I took my 1967 Dodge Dart in for alignment to another shop and they could not do it due to low hanging headers. Took it to Schmunks and no problem! They have a flat drive on truck alignment rack that worked perfect! And were able to align my old girl even though computer systems dont go back to the 60s and 70s. The staff is awesome, friendly, and they worked me into the schedule without a appointment. Anyone with a hot rod needs to go here. No need to go all the way into Eugene! The alignment tech Kevin has 25 years of experience and it shows! Will be back when my daily driver needs tires.Update 8/26/17 Another great experience, took the daily driver in for its new tires. 2013 dodge charger - they ordered me in the 4 tires I specifically wanted, went in and had them put on and was in and out in less than 2 hours. We are from out of town and our car had a major leaking problem at 3:30pm. I called and Tony got me in right away, was able to diagnose the problem within an hour and get back to me. He was very encouraging and brought peace to our stressful situation. The car was fixed the next day before 1. The price of all they did was extremely reasonable, and quite a bit less expensive than some place else we called. The guys were great to deal with and the service was exceptional. I gave them a second chance after bad interactions with my moms vehicle also since I hadnt yet myself. They did an oil change on her Traverse and lost the oil cover and left a funnel under the hood luckily didnt cause additional damage. They helped with replacing cap and checking for damages. Then the second incident on hers was an inspection she asked alignment to be checked wasnt followed with any repair recommendations and I noticed days later wires exposed inside her tires so we took it to another store which fixed her alignment and put two tires on which resolved it. They had also scanned since it had an active code and couldnt find what the check engine was which she also had done at the other location which was for O2 sensors. Not currently done but at least we know what it is. With my Charger I had shuddering on stops so I had them check brake system was told calipers had worked improperly so did the suggested repairs of new calipers, brakes, and rotors on the back end. These were probably necessary repairs but issue persisted so I took it to the mechanic of the dealer I purchased from and was told front rotors also need shaved and brakes done on the front that they didnt do. Also had a code come on the day before I brought it in and they said it couldnt be diagnosed. I used a code reader myself the following morning when the light came actively on again and hasnt turned off in two weeks shows P1404 and P404 basically EGR needs cleaned or replaced. So my issue is both with missed and paid for services that are incomplete between her and my interactions.

I went to these guys on two different occasions and came out with a repaired vehicle and my wallet still intact. I have a reasonable knowledge of auto mechanics and usually opt to do things myself. These guys are honest and know what they are doing. Whenever I get to busy to do my own repairs my vehicles only come here.

Schmunks installed new struts and tires on my vehicle and I am a very satisfied customer!Bob helped me and understood what needed to be done. He gave good information and the timeline for repairs was quicker than what he said.I have used this company twice now and have not been disappointed with the service.

I had a family emergency and needed to drive a vehicle 2200 miles that had spent 4 months at a shop with no progress and 2 years sitting in my driveway for a total of 2 and a half years dead. Schmunks was able to work with my limited budget and make my vehicle safe and road worthy for me, my wife and two kids. I dont know what we would have done without their kind, speedy and mechanically accurate knowledge and service. Praise the Lord for the honest trustworthy mechanics at Schmunks. When I asked them to do additional work that was not necessary, they let me know and didnt waste my money. The vehicle made the trip with no issues and I was surprised by how affordable the service was.

Great service every time. Very attentive staff. We only get our tires here. The only reason for not giving this place 5 stars is the seats in the waiting are in terrible condition. Worn and torn and no cushion. Its a time capsule from the 1970s.

Went in around 5:30PM to get a set of wheels and tires put on, about a 15-20min job and the owner didnt want to put them on because he didnt want to stay late or pay his other worker overtime.The two owners that were working were moody and the guy they didnt want to pay over time was quiet and friendly, he wouldve been willing to put the set on our truck.The owner told us we NEED to take our studded tires off TODAY, then 5min later turned around and said our new set would not work.. THEN he turned around and said it will take to long..Just 10min of arguing and bullshitting with us then finally saying no, after we unloaded the baby, got comfortable in the waiting area, we had to leave 20 till 6PM.

Went back they told me nothing really to worry about. & rotated back tires to front. It made it worse. Took it back in only to be told my struts are totally shot & that itd cost $300 dollars to fix. I know Im a chick but come on.

I was traveling through the town and my brakes couldnt be ignored anymore. I needed them fixed before I could go home. I came I at 8am and they had me out of there by 10am. They talked me through what needed to be done and showed me my worn brake pads. They even made me a great deal. I will definitely recommend them to family who live on the area.

I was less than impressed with the attitude of the person at the desk (Kevin I believe), but one of the technicians was quite friendly and offered a referral to a place that could assist me with my vehicle issue.

Their charge for brake rebuild was 200 less than les schwab and 220 less than dealership. Excellent friendly service and completed on time. In full disclosure I am vaguely related to the scmunk family by marriage, but had absolutely no effect on my opinion of the work. However, I am a little proud of a local family who operate a successful and ethical business. Call ahead they are popular.

Schmunks is my only tire store. No bull or unnecessary upselling. Just honest salesman and mechanics. What I expect from a repair facility.

After few overpriced experiences at the other tire place down the road from them, I decided to give Schmunks a try. I dont mind paying a higher price for quality parts and service, which was what I thought I was paying for for the last 20 years at the red & white tire center. Instead, I learned that they were simply tripling the cost of the same parts I could get at the parts store. After a year, I have had 3 cars and 2 trailers get new tires from Schmunks and they have always made sure that I get what I ask for. They are definitely my partner in getting my truck past 500k miles.
