These guys have been great to my family members and me for years. You absolutely get what you pay for in quality and trust. I have been to a few shady shops, but the people at Bob’s have never given me that vibe in the least, especially when it’s something I don’t want to hear about my car.

Please do not go here unless you have money to give away. They gave me a quote of 1300$ for a leak. And 380$ for a part thats 80$ at auto zone. Idk if it was race based. But it was awkward when I confronted them about the price.

Very knowledgeable staff. Clean counter area and waiting lobby. Always does a great job on all my vehicles. Prices are fair and competitive. Greg and the guys at the counter are always nice, which can be a rare find these days. I recommend them!

Bobs Automotive is honest first and foremost. I am always greeted with a warm welcome and treated with the utmost respect. They provide lightning-fast safety inspections.I first brought my car to Bobs Automotive to be inspected right after I bought it. I mentioned that I wasnt sure how good the brakes were. They could have taken advantage of my ignorance and slapped a huge bill to replace a failing braking system, but instead told me that my brakes had plenty of life left in them.My second interaction with them was also a state inspection. This time, there was something that needed to be fixed before I would pass. Windshield wipers! They only charged me something like $7 to replace the wipers (and recommended that I not spend more on fancy wipers for my beat up 05 Taurus), and sent me on my way with a passing grade.Bobs Automotive is awesome!

Started going to Bobs because it was close to my work. After they diagnosed several problems on my car, I became a dedicated customer. They always provide very clear explanation of any problems (Im NOT a car person so I appreciate this). I am always put at ease by their straightforward honesty. They are a 50 year old family business that just seemed very trustworthy and experienced to me, and Id definitely recommend Bobs to anyone.

My one experience was good. They were to the point and did their job well. Im definitely taking my business there when in need of repair!

Greg at Bobs Automotive is extremely rude, condescending and chauvanistic. I just called this morning to find out a price for a car repair.Greg was very demeaning to me and spoke to me in a way that was very unprofessional and sexist. I would never recommend takingy car to this place as all he is lit to do is try and pull one over on you and rip you off.

Broke our Evap line and then put a bolt in it.When it got mentioned to them, they got defensive and said it wasn’t them. It wasn’t broken before we let them work on the car.

Bobs Automotive did a great job on my parents car after a broken ball joint on I44. They replaced and repaired all of the damage promptly and told us what parts were ok to replace with aftermarket pieces and what needed to be replaced with OEM. Very friendly and made accommodations however was a little pricey but my biggest issue is that they insisted I urgently needed repairs that seemed odd. Since I knew that such work could be done for less elsewhere I said no and took my car to two other locations to learn that I did not the suggested repairs.

Called for a price and they were sky high. Wont be going there.

My son has been a loyal customer of Bobs Automotive for 12 years or so. When we moved here 7 years ago I likewise took an auto problem to Bobs. Just last week they solved yet another problem on my Toyota Avalon that another mechanic had overlooked. Yea, Bobs boys!

Husband got the vehicle inspected there and it went well.

My experience at Bobs Automotive was a terrible one. Bobs Automotive in Springfield MO on enterprise Ave. has the worst most unfriendly staff i have encountered. Especially Greg the owner completely ignored me for almost very long time and then was especially rude. The work they did on my car was also not fixing the root of the problem; so I had to take my car elsewhere. At this other auto shop I was told that all of the repair work done by Bobs was completely not necessary and actually made the problem worse.I would recommend that you NEVER GO TO BOBS AUTOMOTIVE!!
