Every-time I’ve been here I haven’t had an appointment. A sudden issue would happen with my car and they’d say to just bring it by and they’d work it in when they could. I’ve never had to wait long at all despite not having an appointment. They always figure out the issue and get it fixed quickly. For example today my car was smoking and in less than an hour it was fixed. I am impressed at how fast their service is. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. Great customer service. I can’t recommend them enough!

We had gone to JBC for years for our car needs and when we learned that Telle had purchased them, well we had a little hesitation. We are so pleasantly surprised at the quality of communication and service weve received! The new look brings it up to date and they were fast in their service. Overall a great experience!

I would like to give John a huge thank you! I stopped in last week after closing. I was traveling through with my special needs grandson and had a flat tire. I pulled in as the last person was leaving. John saw that I had a flat, he opened his shop, repaired my flat and check my fluids. He told my grandson and I just to stay in the car and stay cool under the air. When I asked how much he waved me away and said our safety is more important than a few dollars! You just dont find places that go above and beyond anymore! Thank you!

WOW! We were traveling from KC to Branson with our five young kids this week and happened to have a battery light come on about a mile away from this shop. The rough-shifting and low power feeling started soon after the light came on so we quickly got off the highway, and now feel it was fate that we happened to be so close to this Telle Tire. We literally pulled in right as the vehicle died and were certainly in a very vulnerable position to be taken advantage of with high prices and low service! However- we were met with the TOTAL opposite and the best service we’ve ever experienced in this industry. As soon as we’d unloaded our family, the technicians were outside jumping the van to pull it into the shop, and they were so gracious in allowing us all to camp out in their lobby while they evaluated our vehicle. They knew within 10 minutes what the issue was, and even though we pulled up less than 2 hours before closing time, they were so reassuring that they’d do all they could to get it fixed before they closed. The manager even had already ordered the part before they knew for sure what the issue was so that it could be delivered ASAP and get the fix done. Their hard work and kindness brought us to tears thinking about the good fortune we had to break down right at this exact place- even though at the time it was stressful and a bit scary, we were cared for so wonderfully and felt like family! They stayed 30 minutes after closing time to get it all done and gave us an applicable discount! As you can tell, I can’t get over their kindness and generosity. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone in Springfield and passing through.

We have been going to JBCFor several years. They have always been honest and trustworthy. I bought tires there. And they have kept on car in tip top shape. It is nice to have a shop that when your car breaks down. After they repair it. We can leave there shop and go on a road trip with no worries. I Did that. Thanks guys.

You can tell a lot about a business true intentions by the way they treat their customers. Both intentionally AND inadvertently. This is a business motivated strictly by money, not serving the community it is a part of. How can you hang a sign in your front window exclaiming, Face masks required by city ordinance. and not require that a single one of your employees comply? I believe thats called doing the bare minimum. Regardless, I wont be giving them anymore of my business. Too bad. I had fantastic experiences here in the past, but the staff is entirely different now. If you are a conscious minded community member, like myself, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Great experience this morning at Telle Tire and Auto Center. Left home and got the low tire indicator alert. When I got ready to leave my appointment I could actually see the screw head puncturing my tire. I knew just a block away was JBC AUTO, a place I’d used for my truck service. Pulled in and see it’s now TELLE Tire and Auto. Went in and they could get to me in about an hour and a half. While waiting and talking with the manager, he said, let me see if I can pull this one guy off his job and get you on your way, which he did make happen. 45 minutes later I’m done! I go to the counter to settle up and the manager said “no charge ... this one’s on us”. I’m certainly not expecting that. So after leaving a tip for the mechanic and a big thank you, I’m on my way.Telle Tires bought all the former JBCs in Springfield. What a great addition for Springfield! Since I’m home I’ve checked out their web presence since I’m new to this vendor and feel like my experience evaluation is something worth sharing. Family owned, Missouri owned, fair dealing, and an 80 year history of service and success. Thank You.

Quick and clean. Did agree to honor the price quoted by the other local store.Paddled the tire disposal fee just a little.I was at a full service Goodyear store by necessity only. .History may not repeat but it sure will rhyme if you let it. And the attempt at conflated fees combined with the tiny discrepancy on the disposal fee indicates I made no mistake in avoiding these full service Goodyear stores for the last 20 years ever since Kansas City store caused hundreds of dollars damage to my 2000 4Runner then lied about it.They have great tires and some great sales but these stores do require constant supervision by you and confirmation of your bill total before turning over your keys.Tires only. Confirm billing. Watch the work.Better wait for spring.

I went in to get a state inspection done on my car and an oil change. The staff was very courteous and got my car done quickly. I would highly recommend this place!

My son in St Louis recommended Telli Tires when I called him to ask for advise on buying tires. I checked locally in Springfield where we had bought 2 previous sets and seemed pricing was too high! When I checked and compared prices with Telli in Springfield they were a few hundred dollars cheaper than the place we had purchased from before! Plus John told me there was a $70 rebate which the other local business did not mention!!Telli won our business here in Springfield!! John and Mike were both awesome!! Courteous and very efficient!! I’ve recommended the store on E Republic Rd to several people also!! I was in and out with new tires and an oil change in just a few minutes over an hour!! Its the worst service I ever encountered, impeccable suv and just getting an inspection sticker...Service Mgr said that my Power Steering has a leak,need to replace it...A F##king lie and FAKE diagnoses, went home and open the PS reservoir...still full of fluid, hasnt been touched since had service from Reliable Lexus 1.5 years ago, ...had it inspected by different shop....No Leak....pass Inspection...Telle Tire will never get my service, A Rip Off Company..trying pull one over..fake leak..a SCAM..recommend take your business ELSEWHERE....

I used JBC Tire for the first time recently as we needed the front break pads changed out on our vehicle as well as an oil change. They provided fast, friendly service AND had better pricing that their competitors! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend JBC Tire!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would.3/24- had them service tires that were under warranty on my. 05Ford Explorer. Put my new tire on front drivers side, and all tires balance. When i picked up my car there was a click from front drivers tire and was squealing an awful sound. Circled the lot, Jon came out and looked at tire and said it was just because of there parking lot. Brought my 2015 Camaro in on- 3/29 due to purge valve and rpm fluctuation. Said they replaced the valve totalling $275. (However the receipt just reads that they did 2 diagnostic tests. No parts or labor charged. ) So when I picked up the Camaro I dropped the Explorer off.I stated it was intermittently not starting and that I had already had the starter checked. I also ask for thier Complete Vehicle Evaluation. Shortly later I was told the starter cable was loose and thats what was causing the issue and the evaluation showed tie rod ends and fluid that needed flushed and a small oil leak at the seal... Nothing else. So I had them replace the tie rod ends and alignment.When I left the shop I called to let them know the rpm needle was still fluctuating on the Camaro. They told me to bring it back and they would check it out. I stated I could not bring back it in until the following Monday because of work.The Explorer was finished on the 31st totally 457.32Drove home(about 10 minutes away) seemed ok.4/3- Explorer still wont start. I giggle the positive battery terminal cable and it starts. I pull out of my drive way and my ABS light and traction controll light comes on, car acts like it want to lose all power.4/5 I call and Jon tells me to bring it back and they will make it right. So I bring the Explorer in immediately. Even tho the Camaro was scheduled for them to look at again since they didnt fix it right the first time. Jon calls an hour later stating the positive battery cable needed changed out and they did that free of charge. I ask about the ABS situation and he stated it was just do to the electrical issue. I drive my Camaro in again to swap the vehicles out. When i start the Explorer abs and traction lights are still on!!!I immediately get out and say something and Jon and one of the mechanics are looking at each other like they are just so confused. They have me pull my car in the bay and they tell me its a wheel hub sensor. When I asked if that was something that should have shown up while doing that inspection, they couldnt give me a straight answer. Said it was nothing, and sometimes it can trigger a light for no reason. They cleared the light and said if it comes back on to bring back up. Upon leaving the lot the light came back on and I called to let them know. Was told to bring it back in and that they would take care of it and make things right.Later that day I get a call saying the Camaro is done. They found nothing wrong with it but did some preventive maintenance and took apart, cleaned and reset the throttle. So Here I am picking it up and dropping the Explorer back off. I drive home seems ok, but rpm needle is still fluctuating. They replace the hub on the Explorer 375.87.4/6 I take the Camaro to another shop to see if the wiggle on the rpm need was normal. They stated it can be, under different circumstances i.e. cold morning starts, running the air, ect.4/6 I am driving the camaro out of town and as I start down the highway the car is not registering that I am accelerating. As if the throttle is not engaging. Pulled to the side of the road and called JBC tire and jon again stated to bring it in very apologetically and he would make things right. I gave them one last chance to make things right this morning 4/8. But they say nothing is wrong with my car, they cant recreate the problem and pretty much Im out of luck and they cant fix phantom Problems. Jon refused to give me corporate, the boss, or owners information. I am now at square one. The explorer still intermittenly wont start and my Camaro is in worse shape than when I originally brought it in his has been a nightmare. They prey on women.

Had a bad experience elsewhere and they got it done sooner and cost significantly less.

At my recent oil change, the desk attendant was not wearing a mask and allowed another customer to not wear a mask even after being asked by the customer. My bill stated that a 10pt CC was completed but was not explained to me. I would have like to know as I ran out of wiper fluid later that day while traveling in severe weather. Also, my gauges were not set back to where I had them. But overall, I am happy with the service that i was given. I have been coming to this JBC for about 15 years+ years so I expect the little things to be a part of my experience everytime.

Had an oil change done and apparently the tech that did it has no care or concern for other peoples vehicles. Oily fingerprints all over my hood and door. The climate controls and radio dial were turned down with same said hands and they didnt even bother putting down floorboard paper on a rainy day. Guy at the front desk was nice though so 2/5. Def wouldnt take my car back there though

On 3/2018 I brought my 01 Eclipse to JBC on Republic Rd. I paid $2,281 TotalMechanic 477 worked on my car. I Paid for a used engine Replacement estate inspection complete vehicle evaluation and alignment check a timing belt component kit oil pan gasket that was my first ticketThey either installed a faulty engine or messed up my timing belt On 4/05/2018 I paid for spark plugs HACC AC compressor used evacuate recharge and recover $84 serpentine belt parts $50 exhaust manifold gasket because they damaged it in the engine install done by mechanic 477 The shop paid for damage 3/2018 On 5/30/2018 Had to pay out of pocket for the tow bill because my car broke down because of their faulty timing belt install this shop bill costed me $250 on 5/30/ 2018. On 7/10/2018 I had to pay yet another tow bill of $100 for JVC to reset the timing and install a steering sensor at no charge to me except for another tow bill mechanic 420On 12/06/2018. I had to pay $303 Because they failed. To notice my engine mounts were faulty. I do not recommend this shop. And when I originally left the shop be up for all the extra money spent in return visits and money out of pocket for the tow bills because of a faulty job they originally did And ripped me off for terrible mechanical Work. I had originally brought this car in at 127K after all this money spent the car made it to 171K miles. After all the money I have spent in business with JVC they told me they would not stand behind their work anymore

Had a flat on a camping trailer tire, large chunk of metal. The folks at JBC were very friendly and helpful, and in my opinion, went above and beyond in helping us. I highly recommend.

Went in for an oil change and inspection and Matt was amazing!! He was very friendly and got my car all taken care of in no time at all!! The guys in the shop were awesome too! Ive been taking my vehicles to JBC Tire for years. Ive always been very impressed with their service. The prices are fair, they dont cut any corners, and they dont attempt to up-sell you anything. I would recommend JBC for all of your essential automotive needs, including oil changes, transmission fluid changes, alignments, tires, etc. Matt did a great job explaining my options the other day when I needed to have about a half dozen maintenance repairs. After we talked about price and they started the work they found several little things that needed fixed as well for example my break line was leaking and since we already landed on the price I wasnt charged for that or to fix my tire when he found a nail in it!! I called to make an appointment for a tire patch and they told me to come in at 9am. When I arrived, they said they were too busy and to come back at 1pm. I came back at 1pm, was told it would only be 20-30 minutes so I waited, and it took over an hour. The scheduling there is terrible.

Ive called this shop and the one at 1710 W Kearney St, Springfield, MO 65803 since they opened 2 hours ago, repeatedly. Neither knows how to answer a phone, and they dont let you leave voicemails. I couldnt even get in to see how the services can be rated. On the off chance I try to call again and they answer, this will be updated based on the actual service.

JBC did a great job on my service, caught my brakes just in time. George was very helpful and a life saver when I forgot my purse at home! Always love getting my service done from JBC 👍

Brought my 06 Chevy Colorado for a check engine light. They diagnosed it and afterwards repaired the issue. Cody the mechanic also suggested to talk with Chevy since most of the issues had a warranty at one time. I took my truck to Chevy and the only suggestion was what JBC had just done. After confirming with Matt the sales manager, he was honest and told me it wasnt worth the $3200 job to buy a couple more years out of the truck. Thanks JBC tire and auto for being an honest repair shop!

I was broken down on a rainy Friday afternoon they got me in and fixed my truck changed my oil & filter. Price was reasonable. They were very nice and explained everything upfront and gave me the cost of what it would be. I will return for more tires and Mechanic work. Highly recommend.

I went to JBC for a standard oil change and they tried to tell me that I needed $800+ of work done on my car. I declined and just got my oil changed. A few days later, I noticed oil leaking out of my car. I took it to my mechanic and he told me that the oil plug was barley screwed in. When I called the store asking for an explanation, they insisted that they “would look into it and get back to me shortly”. After a week and multiple calls to the store, I gave up. I wouldnt trust these guys to work on my lawnmower after this.

I dont normally write or read reviews but I felt compelled to share my experience with others seeking a trustworthy auto shop. I was referred to JBC by my employer and I definitely see why he thinks the guys on E. Republic are the best. On every occasion the customer service has been top notch. I feel like Matt and Josh care about my safety and understand that cost and convenience are important. Its not just a job to them. They are incredibly courteous and helpful...even did repairs on my Mercedes. Im so thankful I can rely on their expertise with multiple vehicles. Thanks guys

Matt is always so helpful to me. I have switched to using this JBC over the sunshine location bc they are just getting way too “salesy” over there. They tried to sell me a 106 dollar inspection today when all I needed was a courtesy check and a brake inspection which are free. Ive used JBC several times and spent hundreds of dollars with them so it’s nice when the other location just took care of me and didn’t try to upsell me .Matt always shoots it to me straight and I just feel more comfortable working with him. Its a relief when you finally find a mechanic you trust enough to keep using regularly. :)

First off, I called the Republic location Saturday around 7pm. It says they are only open until 6, so I was shocked. My car was leaking gas and I needed a shop that would be open on Sunday to get it fixed. AND THEY WERE. I was super happy about that.Not only were they open Sunday, they included my diagnostic fee in my labor AND didnt charge anything for doing work on Sunday. I was quite happy about that.They called me and kept me in the loop about what was wrong with my car and was able to give me a detailed price over the phone. It was expensive, but big car repairs usually are. I felt so comfortable with them I didnt even double check other places prices.They sent me a Thank You text the day after and I got a thank you card in the mail too. Crystal and Chip did a great job at taking care of me and I am thankful and appreciative of that.They have my oil changes and regular maintenance until I leave Springfield. Will come again.

* UPDATE: I used the JBC Tire off of East Republic Road. Its kinda behind the hotel and Bank. I have NOT received a call from the owner. I will not recommend this shop at all. This review should serve as a warning to anyone that comes across it. I had to give it a star to give it a review.I took my truck here to get new brakes put on because they were squeaking and driving me crazy. It was a Sunday so I also got an oil change, they run a special on Sundays for oil changes... $20. Tried to drive the truck home and my brake pedal went all the way to the floor. I had to wait until Monday for the main guy to be there because the other two guys there said that my master cylinder was bad and needed to be replaced for several hundred dollars. Monday the main guy gets there, bleeds the brakes and calls it good. I have brakes and an oil change for over $200. I still have squeaking brakes.

First time using JBC, and thid shop was the only one that would take out car, because the problem we had was such a difficult one to deal with, and they had it fixed within the day! Mike helped us out quickly and provided great customer service. Steve is the owner and he called to check in with me about how to approach the car repair. Our car is running perfectly now and our alignment is finally right. Easy to find location on Republic Road. Excellent experience on every level and we will be taking our car here in the future, and recommending this company to our friends and family!

Very disappointed with this place.My wife took our 2002 RAM pickup in for an inspection on Sunday (9/2/18). After waiting almost an hour she was told that it did not pass inspection and they presented her with a repair estimate of $1400!The repair estimate stated that the vehicle needed hub bearings, lower ball joints, tie rod end, and 3rd brake light bulb. They offered to lower the price to $1200 if she had the repair done on the spot. The owner information on the paperwork wasnt even made out to the correct person so the employee just crossed those lines out.When she got home with the paperwork I checked the part pricing that they listed and was able to find all the parts for less than $160.Replaced the 3rd brake light myself for $6 (That line on the repair estimate alone was $35+).She took the truck in to another shop this morning and it passed inspection without any problems. She specifically had requested that they look at the ball joints, tie rod ends, and bearings. No defects found.Would not recommend this shop to ANYONE. Disgusting that they attempt to take advantage of of someone like this and the feeling my wife had was that they thought she was just a dumb woman.Bottom line, dont use this shop at all.

Ive had some issues with my car that were very hard to pinpoint the last year.
