Absolutely awesome place.Had an appointment at 330. Was in a chair by 335 and walking out the door by 4. Nails look awesome. Done great. No tiny bubbles in the nails either.

Me and my daughter got 2 full sets with gel and they did a good job. We noticed a few of our nails were filed crooked though Im sure coffin nails are not easy to shape but i expect to get what I pay for though.

I enjoyed the Solar Spa. However the gentleman who did my pedicure was a little to rough, and forgot to really pay attention to the heal area on my feet. But other than that its a nice place.

I had a friend who put acrylic on my nails for a quick fix to help them heal underneath. They were red, raw, skin was split underneath, bleeding and hurt really bad. It worked really well. Shes a hair stylist and doesnt do nails at all. It wasnt the best job but it worked very well. Larry, who is a nice man, put down my friends work. Well, we knew it wasnt the best but he kept asking who did this? Who did this? He was downing my friends work when I kept telling him it helped them heal. It helped them heal. We knew it wasnt the best job but to put down A FRIEND OF MINE was INAPPROPRIATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL when she was trying to help my nails heal. Its like he didnt even listen to that part but kept downing my friend and I finally have to say I am not going to talk badly about my friend she is a sweetheart. Other than that he did a very good job.

I love these people! Perfect strong nails. I work as a server and my nails always last. They are perfectly smooth. Jessica is amazing fast sweet the girl makes it look easy!

Overall not the best experience. Very disappointed in how my nails turned out. I asked for dipped nails and they turned out wonky, uneven, and started chipping after only 3 days. They also over charged us for our services, they charged me for a manicure and dip, but I was not given a manicure,it was just dip. The only reason I would go back is because the pedicure was pretty good.

I went in today to get a full set I had my own acrylic powders because I wanted butterflies.As he’s doing my nails who cut two of my fingers and was really rough on them twisting them to where they would be popping and weirdly shaped them. I looked at my nails and there’s no butterflies on my nails they’re not the shape I wanted and I have cuts on my fingers.

My sister and I went in for her birthday we got pedicures and full sets with gel on Sunday. I’ve had these nails for 2 days, I just did dishes and two of my nails began to peel bad. I’ve never had this issue any other time I’ve gotten gel acrylics.

All the workers were nice, and there are multiple TVs to watch while waiting and getting your nails done. Jessica ended up taking over and finishing my nails, and she was super friendly. Im very satisfied with the color, shape, and quality of my manicure. My only critique is that I wish they had done more with my cuticles because they were very dry afterward. I got a full, almond shaped acrylic set with UV gel polish and it was $45 + tip

They are not professional at all, They have no system they put walk ins in front of appointment times and then make you wait, the man Larry is very aggressive and MEAN he yells and yanks your arm around they use the same buffing tools on every customer, it’s just plain ghetto I will never go back. It took 3 hours for a fill and she tried to charge me for a full set more than what I paid the first time. It’s chaotic and smells bad no air flow no fans just plain bad business all around.

Amazing place to have you nails taken care of. My daughter and I both love our nails. The staff are so friendly and had my daughter laughing the entire time. I loved all the options for nails and the selection of colors. With were very careful with making sure everything is clean and protected against Covid. I didnt get a pedicure, but my daughter says the chairs were very comfortable.

Been looking for a nail tech so decided to try this one out, paid $65 for 2 sets and both looked horrible. They go way to fast and missed a lot and The length and shape was off on all of them, my tech was very rough and cut me. I won’t be going back here anytime soon.🙄🙄 the place was unclean and so were the tools and they were very rude and demanding

Went in to just have a full set put on and took my little girl for her first time for her 8 birthday the lady did not do anything we asked she did as she wanted and kept saying more money by time my daughter left she was crying that her nails was hurting it was from so much dry powder and glue i finally just asked to have them taken off that I would pay them to take them off the lady said no to come back a different time that she had other customers and when I asked her if she could redo mine when I came back she said mine looked fine which they did not I was way overcharged and the sad part when I went back to have it re-fixed in my little girls took off she wanted to charge me more money and then told me she didn’t have time and to leave her salon and the manager was very rude to very sad placeAnd very disappointing

They have a variety of services available, and I have not had a bad experience with any of them. The more specialized the service the higher the price which is more than reasonable. They are also willing to answers any questions you may have

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU GET AN APT WITH JESSICA! I got Larry and he was horrible. Right when I walked in he was extremely rude and rolled his eyes because I didnt want fake nails. Long story short, he rushed through as fast as he could, LEFT POLISH ALL OVER MY CUTICULES!!, Sloppy, and OVER CHARGED me! I wanted a simple gel over lay and he charged me $40! Not to mention, I waited an hour and fifteen minutes to even be seated. When he told me he was going to do my nails, I immediately got nervous because I watched him do TWO PPL at the same time! He went back and forth from their chairs doing their nails not even spending time on them at ALL. In fact, he went through three clients while the other technicans were still on the same girl. I rarely treat myself to this kind of pampering. I am very dissatisfied. However, that doesnt mean I havent gotten them done many times at other places and they NEVER left polish all over my CUTICULES. I love the idea of gel overlay and the color I picked out is the ONLY reason I gave it two stars.

I have been going to Solar Nails for awhile and they always do a fantastic job! I appreciate how they will have a conversation with you and get to know you! I hardly ever have a wait when I go in to get my nails done.My pedicures and dipped nails always look fantastic! I regularly get compliments on them! When I get my nails dipped they last for at least 3 weeks. Sometimes longer if I am busy and cannot make it in.Jessica is my favorite! She always does such a great job on my nails! If she is busy, I also enjoy having Sarah do my nails. But everyone in there does a great job! I highly recommend Solar Nails!

Very Disappointed. Not sure what is acceptable in Joplin, Missouri (as I am new to the area) but I have had many pedicures all over the country and by far Solar Nails is the worst experience and service I have received. .First, it started with all the nail techs having major conversation among themselves in their language the entire time, speaking out loud, laughing and making loud joking noises across the salon in front of all their customers. **Note: I do not have a problem with people talking a different language; however, there is a certain level of professional etiquette to follow in front of customers when rendering services. When providing spa services the customer is #1.Secondly, Jessica was the nail tech who did my pedicure. She rushed through it, poorly trimmed my nails and just slapped on lotion. Upon receiving this poor treatment, I opted to cut my pedicure short, And I did not get any nail polish painted on to my nails. I did pay the full amount owed without any issues but I will NEVER go back to this place again.Just a word to the locals, when getting any type of spa services, you should be pampered, it should be relaxing, tranquil, clean and professional. This place is a joke and a disgrace.

I had come and gotten my nails done on Monday, and of course with my first pair I was stunned with how gorgeous they were! Then today I took a tumblr and chipped several.of my nails I was heartbroken, I went back in and they fixed them for me and even did a new shape and design on them they look stunning and Im obsessed! I will definitely be back!

Didnt greet me so i never felt welcomed, gave attitude to my friend and snatch the colors she was looking at right out of her hand, we got pushed back behind 4 others that came in after us and they didnt have appointments, they didnt clean up their work, i didnt get the shape i wanted cause they were too busy talking, lastly they rushed my nails and when i asked for them to redo it cause it didnt come out right she just rolled her eyes at me then proceeded to ask me for a tip. That will be my first and my last time going

Jackie Chan did my nails and they are FABULOUS!!!! I loved the atmosphere! Everyone there was extremely nice and fun to be around. Thank you Solar nails for doing such a great job on mine and my sisters nails. 🤓 PS we arrived 30 mins before they closed and they still took their time and didn’t make us feel like we had to hurry up and leave.

First time getting my nails done, worst place to go to I didn’t understand the guy doing my nails and he was getting irritated and one of the other workers were laughing and talking to him in a different language and he was shaking his head. He was using the buffer so aggressively and I asked for coffin nails and they were all uneven due to him being in a hurry even though the place wasn’t even busy at all. Ended up paying $45 for something that wasn’t even good at all. Very disappointed and most likely won’t be getting my nails done ever again.

Super clean and super professional. All the staff was friendly and eager to please. I got the deluxe pedicure and dip manicure and they turned out beautifully!! I will definitely give them my business again in the future!

I have been to many nail salons in Joplin and Carthage area, and not one has been able to match up to Solar Nails. This is absolutely the best nail salon in the Joplin area! Jessica is so talented – she can and will literally create any design you want on your nails. Larry is always there with a kind word and smile when you come in. Ive been extremely pleased with the service that I have received at the salon. Others always comment on how beautiful my nails are and ask where I get my nails done. I would give you more than five stars if more were available!

Me and my mom went there and got a pedicure. They were so sweet and made amazing conversation. I got chromatic and after two people saw my nails they decided to change to the chromatic color. So I highly recommend chromatic. Thank you from me and my mom.

I had just a gel manicure with one small design on each hand done. The design was well done and cute, but the base polish was a bit messy around the edges of the cuticles and there were a couple of nails that werent filed evenly and the nail tip was left still rough and I had to go home and fix them. For the price, Id expect a better job. Id recommend going to the beauty school in Webb City. Much better prices and if students mess the nails up the instructors will make it right to ensure youre happy.

Been here multiple times. Its kind of a hit and miss on good or bad services.They can be rude.If they mess your nails up, dont expect to get them fixed. Unless you pay the full amount. They also drill your nails down to nothing.If you do go here, Jessica is your best bet.Also. If you make an appointment even days before. They dont stick to it. So dont count on that.

You never know how the experience is going to go. I have been going for a while and they usually do a great job, but the last couple times I am not even getting what Im paying for. They lotion massage is my favorite part about getting both manicure and pedicure and they havent been doing it. All my nails are different lengths because theyve been rushing through it. Im disappointed that I pay 70 dollars to get duped out of what I came for. I think Ill take a break for a while and find a new place.

I just love this group of nail techs. They are OPEN LATER THAN other nail salons- and it doesn’t matter if I bring 5 people or just me, they are always happy and willing to help me get in and get done no matter what. I love their many great new colors and options and I feel like they always have the trendiest new things to choose from. I feel like they have the best equipment and options all around- and they are great at what they do. They make me laugh so hard too- and sometimes when they talk in their native toungue amongst themselves o like to act like I know what they are saying just for fun. Good people good product- I love the dip nails- and only wish I could have it done on my toes.

I almost dont want to tell you how awesome this place is. The wait time will increase, which honestly wasnt bad when we went. The nail techs are real nice and can duplicate any style that you pull up on your phone. The nails lasted for a long time without falling off.

My boyfriend and I are from out of town and he absolutely loves kelly and Kim doing his feet. He a welder and wears boots to work and they tear up his feet and he is so embarrassed by it .... but these ladies are amazing and never give him dirty looks . Is there a way to pick zero stars?! So, my girlfriend and I went in for a fun relaxing time, but thats not what happened. After they haggled us for five minutes about getting a more expensive package, the uncleanliness was disturbing. The cuticle cutting tool, they just placed the cover on it and put it back in the drawer after cutting by toes and nails. This makes me assume they were not cleaned prior to using them on me. SCARY! The bowls they have you soak your fingernails in, they just dumped out and placed back in the drawer for the next use. After our pedicures, one of us went across the room where they typically do nails, and the other one had her nails done in her pedicure chair. Thats no fun! All in all, yes, our nails do look good, but the sanitary issues really bother me and the overall enjoyment was meh. We do not plan on returning.
