For $10 a month you can’t beat it. It has all your basic amenities. I just wish they did a better job at sanitation.
Plenty of good clean machines. Nice locker room and clean bathrooms. I absolutely love this place. I also use a trainer there and she has been fantastic.
I’ll be honest. This place is awesome not only because of the price ($10 a month what?!!), but also the huge variety of equipment. Although they can be a little packed at times, majority of the time you don’t have to wait long for the equipments.
Hello, absolutely everything is perfect, the service, the place, the machines, everything. But i would like to suggest that the personal trainers be found in a special section of the page if possible, this for people who are interested in hiring one and have the opportunity to know their names and profiles first, and be able to choose the one that best it seems to them. Because there may be complications and perhaps the person cannot go to treat them first, I say this from my own experience. I hope you take it into account, have a nice afternoon!
Some people have no time to exercise during the week being busy with family, could do it during the weekend and the gym closes at 5PM on Saturday and Sunday! Some gyms like Planet Fitness are opened 24/7!24 Hour fitness closes at 9PM every night. How much would it cost to have two people at the desk for a few extra hours? Closing at 7/8 PM for ex.
Good place to workout. Love this location since its all brand new. My only complaint is the free weight area is never organized or doesnt even have labels to know where to rack it.

Employees to do better with re-racking weights and dumbbells.
The staff does nothing about seeing that weights are re-racked. Having weights around all over the floor is dangerous and makes it very hard to get through a workout timely. Despite making a big show of sanitizing, the restrooms, especially the stalls, are often not clean. The staff seems to exist to sell, sell, sell, and engage in Corona Virus theater. In general, the feel is corporate, brain-dead, and hostile. Membership is way down, or at least attendance is. I wouldnt recommend this place and am exploring alternatives.
Let me be clear, my issue is with the training services. I had great experiences with the customer service relating specifically to my gym membership. Hence 2 stars instead of 1.We require 30 day notice prior to cancellation to avoid being charged again. Sure, Id love to have been given 30 day notice of a pandemic that would prevent me from using these services for over a year. Never mind the fact it is impossible to get a hold of someone in any sort of timely fashion, so if you have a job good luck having the stars align to get a hold of someone to actually cancel on time. You will be on hold for hours. Have an issue that necessitates talking to a superior? Well have someone contact you. Youll have to call and email repeatedly for weeks before thatll happen.That monthly training fee is not a small charge, and thats why this is such an unacceptable issue in my opinion. Over the course of the pandemic, and how my life has been affected and changed, the training service has become a luxury I no longer needed or wanted, and was unable to utilize during this time. I havent been able to receive value from this service for quite a while, and when it was no longer a service I was interested in, I couldnt even receive value for the last month that I was stuck with the bill for. An issue I tried negotiating and explaining, but was only given the rhetoric of 30 day notice in response.I froze my membership hoping to come back to it, but the value of this service is gone for me. Its been a year. My life circumstances have changed drastically over the course of it. My personal trainer who I had such success with, isnt even there any more. This service no longer holds value for me like it once did. With circumstances far beyond anyones control, I have to pay for a service that no longer holds value that I deem worth 244$ and dont feel safe enough to use? They are taking my money and running. Its disgraceful.Dont bother responding. There has been no misunderstanding. Your policy absolutely attrocious given the current situation. The only miscommunication is the same that there has always a been, a pure lack of communication.Its a shame, I did really like the gym, but I was very displeased with the customer service relating to the personal training and my treatment through them has turned me off of this facility completely.

The blonde manager there in the afternoon lied. This was after a patron there reported stalking incidents more than three times. He thought it was wise to have the person who made the complaint leave instead of stopping the stalker. 😶

Very clean and uodated equipment. Large gym. Plenty of equipment to handle a surge of people. The only negative is the hours. It closes way to early on weekends.

Clean facility great staff
Since there has been a pandemic, I haven’t stepped foot in the building. I have gone a couple of times and there was not a single light on and yet these folks just robbed me of maintenance fees. The unmitigated gall, the entire audacity. Now I’m forced to have to go and give them something to maintain.
If you have problems with anything at this club don’t expect them to address or take care of anything. I was assured a return call to address my issue twice and got absolutely no call back.
I love going too this gym. One of the best things I like about this gym is the people especially candy 🍬 she is super AWSOME

Tried to cancel on the phone but got put in a 70 person queue so I had to wait two weeks for a day off. Today I was gonna go in and looked at my bank account and I was charged $50. I don’t have that type of money I needed it for car insurance so I went and talked with him telling him how I haven’t went in 8 months because of military reasons and corona and that I need to cancel and that I need that money because without it I couldn’t pay car insurance. But they said they can’t refund it because it’s a he said she said. Honestly I’m disappointed because I’ve been with this gym for 2 years.
My husband and I just signed up and we are so happy that we did! Fidel is an awesome guy, he gave us a tour of the facility and we immediately liked it. Theres even a little area just for women to work out at in case they dont wanna work out on the main floor. Did I mention that the ladies room even has a sauna which is amazing.They have a theater Room with a huge screen like at the movie theater with workout equipment inside and the cool thing about this gym is... its open 24 hours!!!Go sign up with Fidel, youll be glad you did.
Definitely try to upsell you on stuff any chance they get but it’s a good gym with plenty of equipment.
WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE PERSONAL TRAINER AT THIS PLACE!!!!! I dont usually write reviews, but I cant allowed another innocent person to become a victim of this SCAMS. Unfortunately I was force to cancel my personal trainer due to lack of unprofessionalism and commitment. My trainer and I make an agreement to meet every Thursday morning at 9am. Thursday December 24, 2020, my personal trainer didnt show up for the session. Notified the management in the gym regarding the matter. The manager that individaul via cellular no response. I try to reach the trainer by texting him in December 24, 2020 at 10:23 AM no responded. He replied to my text message on December 24, at 12:51PM stating he thought he discuss with me that he wasnt going to be at the gym on Thursday. I received no text message, email or verbal notice regarding my session was cancel for Thursday December 24, 2020. So now since my trainer was the one that cancel on me, my understanding is he will be contacting me to make up that day. He never did, I take it upon myself to notified the individual to make up the day after the holiday. I texted him on Monday Dec 28, 2020 requesting to meet on Wednesday to make up that Thursday he cancel on me. The personal trainer replied back Tuesday at 7:39 PM states he didnt get this message till just now, I cannot do tomorrow morning I have full morning tomorrow. Well the trainer just turn me down without suggesting another day or time to make up the day he cancel on me. On Wednesday December 30, 2020 I spoke to the manager at the fitness connection, he referred me to another trainer. The new trainer suggested meeting on Wednesdays I told him I preferred Thursdays and he agreed to meet with me every Thursday morning at 8am. The next day Dec 31,2020 after our discussion the new trainer already re questing to change the days for Wednesday. I was unsatisfied with the personal trainer service due to lack of commitment and dishonesty. I only completed one session on December 17, 2020. I decided to cancel the personal trainer and requested for refund of my unused fee. Notified personal service on Dec 31, 2020 via email and phone. The customer service employee states that due to the holiday and weekend someone will contact me first thing Monday morning. Almost 2 weeks no one call or responded. In Jan 11, 2021 another transaction for $140.00 was taking out of my account. I decided to contact fitness connection customer in the 12th of Jan, the manager I spoke too told me my account have being cancel since Jan 9, 2021 and they are not going to refund me the used fee or the money that was taking out of my account on Jan 11. I requested to speak to somebody higher he told it doesnt matter who I spoke too I will get the same answer. Please do not buy into this Propaganda 30 days notice and you can cancel your membership anytime. This company is full of crooks, starting from the management, customer service and personal trainer. The only way you can cancel membership your membership from fitness connection is CANCEL YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, once you give them access to it they will never stop taking your money. Pleased run and dont look back.
Today I visited the Champions location and May I just say my experience there was fantastic. The Sales Manger had great customer service and answered all my questions. I was taken on a tour of the gym, not only was the gym easy to get around but the gym was well stocked and very clean. I can’t wait to spread the news and get my friends and family in the champions gym. Looking for a five star gym hit up champions.

Amazing price for a huge variety of amenities. Personell and equipment condition better than other chain gyms. Personal trainers are expensive but seem highly trained. Im seeing a lot of bad reviews recently, and most of them seem to be about 1) mask requirements, which I would fully expect a corporate gym to have in place, to protect their clients health, avoid liability, and follow regulations. If you dont like it, work out at home or wear a bandana etc. 2) Cancellation policies. Lets be honest: all gyms make you jump through hoops to cancel. In my experience, if you save the original paperwork/email, and send it by certified mail to the right place, theyll do what theyre supposed to do.
Best gym in Houston area. It has everything you need to workout, it’s clean, good equipment, employees are very friendly and attentive, trainers are very knowledgeable and the prices are very accessible. Andrew and Leah are great! They care about your goals and will help you get to them! 100% satisfied, would give more stars if I could!
I have tried for months to cancel my membership, I have had my bank block their payments and every month they somehow pull $5 randomly from my account. Due to covid I lost my full time job and now barely make anything to get by. They pulled $80 from my account randomly- again- I have cancelled, I have given my notice, I have done everything to cancel this membership and I have been lied to at every corner. Now I cant pay my bills and have to dispute yet another bogus charge. Do I have to sell a kidney to get my membership cancelled? When I started I was told Id be on a $10 a month plan, that I could cancel any time. Well I was lied too and apparently given a temporary special.
I am currently a member of Fitness Connection-Champions Forest location. The sales Manager Chris impressed me with his professionalism, knowledge, and amazing compassion for fitness. I recently signed up my wife and he has made it a pleasure to workout at this facility and give valid advice and assist in any way possible to get the results you need. I recommend that you go see him and join today or come in on a guest pass for a trial and you will fall in love with this facility.

I’ve under estimated Fitness Connection for a long time. We switched over from La Fitness recently and we’ve had a great experience at this Fitness Connection. Our kids love coming to the kids club. The manager Andrew has been extremely helpful and encouraging. He seems to care about our fitness goals.
The best thing about this place is the theater room where you can burn lots of calories while watching a movie so you dont really feel the calories burned
Why does no one ever answer the phone when you need them to at this place? Why cant they let you cancel your membership over the website like every other gym out there? Oh, and if you are trying to reach them by phone, no one ever answers. I have been on hold for 30 minutes TWICE. Looks like I will have to go in person....
I came here not believing in the gym, never went to one in the first place. I met Chris and he was absolutely amazing at helping us. He’s a wholesome human being who genuinely cared about us and why we wanted to go to the gym. I’m now excited to see where my gym journey goes. :)
I had some questions i needed a clear answer for.. i set up an appointment within Blake at the Champions gym..i can say that he is so professional and patient to the point that what i thought it was going to takes at least 2 hours it only took less than one hour.. he has great customer service skills.

NEVER EVER GET THEIR MEMBERSHIP!! Looks like they love their customers. They just don’t wanna let you go as a customer, even though you move out of city and are still being charged a monthly and a yearly fee. If by chance you get their membership, canceling that is a process and a half. I would suggest you stay away. They’re just trying to rip people off. I’ve been trying to get a hold of them for an hour now. And it keeps saying “Your call should be answered in 12 minutes.”
Great gym and great prices! More options than LA or 24 hour fitness. Free kids club and group classes?! I thought it was going to be too good to be true but I was even more impressed once I got there! Friendly and professional staff! I will be telling all of my friends and family!
Very safe environment. Everyone wears full fingered gloves & masks. Plus sanitizing spray stations to wipe down machines before & after use.Staff is very friendly.
My family and I went to the Fitness Connection at the Champions location and was assisted by the Manager Chris. After checking out several other gyms and being frustrated with long wait times,overcrowding,old equipment and rudeness.This location along with the professionalism,willing to help, and his going above and beyond manner, was very much needed and appreciated!!We needed it..My family finally found a gym that fits our needs.I would recommend anyone in the 1960 area to check him out!

Just signed up a couple weeks ago and now regretting it being that you have to wear a mask while working out. I feel restricted and cant breath or get into a good rhythm of my workout for my mask falling or suffocating me.Please change policy like other fitness centers.

Super cheap! And now its open all night! They have a movie room and free workout classes. Super value for money. When I joined it was 10 bucks per month. Cant beat it!
Chris was excellent in his customer service skills making sure to address customers as they were coming in even though he was trying to sign me and my son up. Unfortunately I cancelled my membership the next day, not because of him but because the lack of cycle classes that I’m used to. If fitness connection could get some consistent instructors to host those classes I believe this would complete the club and I would give five stars. Go see Chris to sign up he’s a joy to work with.
I walked in looking for a membership, and Fitness Connection instantly hooked me up with a guy named Fidel. He was extremely helpful in finding me plan that would work just for me and he was attentive and responsive when I shared my fitness goals. If all staff members are like Fidel in the slightest, I imagine that I will really enjoy my time here as a new member, and I’d strongly recommend other people to this gym.
The gym is very spacious and offers a variety of amenities. Memberships very cost effective and they offer 24 hour access. The front desk and training staff are always polite and willing to help. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

Chris is super helpful and knowledgeable and made signing up for this gym a breeze! Go see him!! The staff remembers you. Gym is clean. People are friendly. Only downside is finding parking.Still, can’t beat the quality of this gym for such a reasonable price.
Fidel was wonderful!! We got completely setup quickly right when we walked in (including a tour), and he made us feel comfortable. He answered all of our questions honestly as well. Highly recommended!

Great friendly staff, (Ask for Chris), and personal training. Memberships start at $10 a month with no contract. Large quantity and variety of equipment which means even when the gym is busy you will not have to wait for any equipment or bench to be free to continue with your work out.
Chris is a wonderful person with a lot of knowledge about fitness. He is very friendly and courteous. I enjoy going to Fitness Connection to workout and Chris with his great attitude is a big reason why.
Update! I was promised in the beginning of June that my membership will be cancelled. It wasn’t, and I got two new charges this new month $60 worth! Additionally I found out that there was another person added to my account and I was paying for him for 2 years!!!! It is identity theft. I reported it to the bank as fraud and bank refunded my money. The club asked me to call to corporate number and investigate why there is another man in my membership, but Corporate number never answers! It is a pity that after the pandemic I won’t do any business with you guys again, because of these scam.
If you plan to try and have a friend go here without him having to pay for a full membership, after you buy their deluxe membership dont bother going here. First off I signed up letting them know I was planning on having a friend come with me a little bit, and they told me Dont worry we have a VIP guest pass for 7 days! So I bring my friend up to the gym with me just to have them tell my friend and myself as we are walking out the door They are 7 consecutive days from the day he came with me! If I knew they were Consecutive days I wouldnt have signed up.

Used To be a nice gym. Gets way too overcrowded too fast, ppl sometimes take a bit too long at a station. THEIR CUSTOMERS DO NOT PUT UP WEIGHTS. Overall, very affordable but that initial start up is too much. Manager was rude when I’ve talked to him my first time. Just talked to me like I was Incompetent. Anyways, signed up at a different gym that offered my needs and exceeded expectation at 24fitness in their various locations closer to home.
Just recently joined Fitness Connection and Andrew made me feel like I was home again! I slacked off looking for the right gym and I definitely feel home again! And ready to crush these goals with the great staff and clients around here! Thank you Andrew and Fitness Connection for that!!
The gym is decent. The main corporation running the company is not. I go to the gym everyday, instead of asking me to update my payment information while I am there, they just add bogus charges to my account. Why not just talk to your customers when they come into the gym and get them to update their payment information their instead of charging fees? Not happy at all!

My trainer Nick is great. The staff is friendly. The workout room for working out with the trainers is ALWAYS TOO HOT! Really dont like being in that room because of the conditions. Its a shame because the equipment in the room is nice. Great class schedule! Love Donna the yoga instructor.

I really enjoy coming to this gym daily. The staff are nice and I’m able to play basketball with friends. The basketball court is very cool because I live very close.

The gym is nice. However, DO NOT use there Ultra Body Trainers!!!! Do not do business with UBF. They cannot be trustedThey lie and cheat!!!
This facility is very clean and well equipped. I have noticed a lot of equipment that I had never seen in other gyms. The front staff is polite and always greet me with a smile. The machines are never broken and are always clean.

The customer service is off the charts. And whenever I’m late or miss a day at the gym they make sure they hold me accountable for whenever I miss a DAY. What can I say by them holding me accountable I’m more motivated to workout everyday at the same time.
This is the worst gym ever due to their customer service. I tried contacting them for a whole month and could not get in touch with anyone to cancel my membership to meet the 30 day notice deadline. I finally was able to speak with a GM from Greenville and she was terrible as well . I haven’t been going to the gym due to covid and they still charged me and when I go to cancel they’re still going to charge me for 2 months because I didn’t call within 30 days .

So my wife has a gym membership at this fitness connection location. She was given 2 guess passes so we(my nephew and I) decided to go work out with her to see if we liked the gym(I’m a member of another gym). Well after we signed in and showed our guest passes we waiting for about 20 mins for an associate to help us. Finally someone helped us but wait my nephew doesn’t have an I’d so they said well we can’t help you. Like really dude you couldn’t of told us this before wasting our time. And to think we were excited to workout there.....

Just canceled my membership today. Mask mandate doesnt include wearing a mask while working out. Hard to breathe and constantly falls down. Dont need the rudeness and unprofessionalism of an employee doing a roving patrol telling people to leave if they cant keep their mask over their nose in the middle of a set.
Melissa the front desk assistant is the BEST, she’s always ready to help with whatever, I had debt issues and she helped me all the way through it. I didn’t feel judged nor discriminated against.Kameron was ready to direct me to the back immediately over my personal issues and I really appreciate the privacy she was extending towards me!I love this place because of these 2.

I like the machines here; they are new, high quality and well maintained. The atmosphere is nice and friendly. The mens locker room is a little small, but adequate. Showers are fine. Sauna is fine. For $10 a month you get a very nice gym, in my opinion. And its open late, usually midnight. I am very satisfied.

Pretty good for a $10/month gym. I dont see much difference between this and a 24 hour fitness. Has all the equipment you need to workout. It can get a bit busier at peak hours. And doesnt have a pool.
The general manager Andrew was very helpful, he assisted me while I was there by helping me with a meal plan and recommending workout plans to help me reach my goals. Great attitude and high energy!
