I enjoy the equipment and the atmosphere. It is, however, a competitive gym. So, women will most likely come in a full face of makeup and their hair done. And youll be able to smell the tanning lotion in the air π€£.It is a clean gym though. Cleaning after the use of equipment is important to me. Luckily, there is a great sense of gym-edicate, in that area.I recommend this gym, because it builds a sense of comrade. The regulars will notice you and it gives you a sense of belonging.
Good facility. It does get really crowded during mornings and evenings. I would recommend paying a little extra for the studio classes so you get instruction and more room to work out. Overall very good facility with great instructors.
They are to focused on the loud speaker music and talking absolutely no cleaning. Bathrooms are a mess and for being corporate HQ its rusting. They dont wipe any equipment down.
The gym is very nice but way way way too busy. Unlike anything youβve ever seen if you havenβt been here before. They need double the equipment for the amount of people that go there. Youβre better off somewhere else
Awesome gym. Tons of equipment and options. Does get very crowded later in the afternoon, but isnt really a bad thing. I would like to see an increase in equipment maintenance... A lot of machines, benches have loose bolts and things. Tons of simple fixes that could easily be kept up on, that I notice everyday.
Having.been a member of numerous health clubs, large and small, from coast to coast my initial findings with VASA are very exciting! There doesnβt appear to be any favoritism but everyone appears wβve an equal in treatment and respect at VASA. The reception I received was warm and genuine and subsequent treatment was equally cordially respectful and professional. VASA may not be a major national player in this field, but they will soon be if they keep up this approach to consumer care. Their facilities are not lacking either, but rather are state of the art and the staff are more than willing to present them to you and make them available to you to use at all times. Iβve never felt so warmly received at, and openly exposed to all the all the apparatus at a club because quite often some of what you see is reserved for a higher priced membership you learn about later. Iβm getting a sense that VASA Fitness is an honest, real deal fitness club that will be a household name across the country in 10 years!
Super easy to sign up and get started. Employees are friendly and professional. Highly recommend this facility to anyone considering it because of 8its exceptional quality and class. I love having a membership.
A great place to work out. But if youβre looking for a place that isnβt almost always packed this isnβt the spot for you. Most nights you can find full court basketball as well.
This is a very large and nice facility with a variety of equipment. The downside is that the mens restroom, and I assume the womenβs as well, is far undersized for the capacity of the gym and is very gross because so many people are using 3 urinals and 3 stalls. This was a design oversight on somebodyβs part. Still worth the money.
Great gym. More like a health club. Has steam room AND sauna. Plenty of equipment and space. Iβve never been to a nicer one. And the staff is very nice.
Iβve been going here for 3 years now, 6 days a week. Youβd think that with my membership fees alone theyβd be able to afford maintenance for equipment and maybe, I donβt know, more than 3 cable attachments as well. Quite embarrassing for this to be the headquarters of the vasa brand, filled with old decrepit machines and no attachments.
Horrible communication. We needed to cancel. I didnt want to get charged their bogus yearly save your rate fee. Their rep in the store said as long as I cancel before the next billing cycle, I wouldnt get charged that fee. He even gave me a number to call just in case they ended up charging me. They of course charged me the fee. I called in and they refused to refund me the fee. Clean gym. Bogus fees. Horrible customer service. 100% dont recommend.
The facility itself is nice: plenty of machines, free-weights, etc. The company, however is the typical sketchy, con-you-out-of-your-money, gym. Not only do they intentionally neglect to tell you about certain fees, they dont even honor their own policies. Heres a specific example: I signed up a couple of years back and paid for the more expensive membership because I was told it included the guest privileges. After bringing guests for years, one day I was told it was not a part of the membership I pay for and I would have to add the guest privileges for an extra $17 a month (absurd seeing as it only costs $10 for a basic membership). I decided to drop my membership to the basic plan and add guest privileges (since that was the only reason I was paying for the more expensive membership in the first place). After being billed for the guest privileges add-on, I was emailed and informed that I could not add guest privileges onto a basic membership. I added the guest privileges through the Vasa app, paid for it, it shows that I have a basic membership with guest privileges, and they are STILL trying to tell me that I cannot have guest privileges. No mention of a refund or explanation as to why their app allows me to add guest privileges and be billed for it, just a simple, sorry, you cant have guest privileges on a basic membership. Its companies like Vasa that give the gyms a bad reputation. Unprofessional and immoral.
Attempted robberyIve been going to Orems vase for a long time but yesterday something very unpleasant happened, they tried to steal my belongings in the closet, they couldnt because the padlock didnt break, I communicated the situation to the reception guy who, due to company policies, cant help much but I want to thank you lo because he was very requested to help with equipment to break the lock. Very embarrassing, it comes out at no loss and as of today I will no longer keep anything in the closet here. Be very careful because there are some bums beside us and vasa is not responsible unfortunately.my code1862526V
I have been a member at VASA for several years and have gone to multiple locations. Theyβre all very well kept with lots of equipment to choose from as well as classes. The staff is friendly and quick to help!
I canceled Planet Fitness right before joining Vasa and I am so much happier here. My trainer Sarah is wonderful. I actually look forward to going to the gym now and Iβm starting to see better results in my health. Vasa offers so much for a great price in my opinion. London who does the Cycle class is wonderful. I also want to say, each staff member is wonderful and always makes us feel welcomed.
Good gym but the vasa just up the street is a lot better. I go here because it is the midway point for me and my workout buddy.
Gym is always clean and equipment is kept in great shape. Machines are almost always working and if out of service they are only closed for a day or two. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great amenities on top of the actual gym part. Only complaint is it gets really busy.
This place is always bumpin. Theyβve got a huge range of equipment and machines and free-weights. Not to mention the sauna and steam room π―. 4/5 because itβs pretty packed most of the time
Got me all sweaty and junk Which is a good thing. I could stand to lose a few pounds. Especially around the love handle areas. And probably lay off the sweets a bit. All and all not a bad place to work out. Beware tho in evening it gets packed. Come during lunch hour. Much better time to come and to workout all the equipment seemed to be in working order and the sauna was the best part. Sweat out all the toxins in my body. Making dad bods great again. Thanks VASAFitness
It was a nice update from moving gyms, I was a frequent flyer to the Provo (South-East of BYU campus) its substantially bigger on University. I felt not so cramped despite having quite a bit of people there. Mind you I went thursday mid-day.Overall though, clean, organized, more variety, more machines/equipment, and a nice environment. Would recommend!
Was a member before covid and stuff had to cancel my account they worked well with setting it back up and all still a great place to go just prices can be a bit weird at times 4/5
Great place! I go here pretty frequently, almost every day!I go here mostly for peace and to feel calm. Its a great stress reliever for me!Theyve got some of the best high tech gym equipment here! Not to mention that theres a swimming pool and a spa π€ͺβ¨οΈHighly would recommend this gym to anyone.
It has been nice. But a Lot of the equipment is Not working! That is very inconvenient Including the saunas and hot tub π
The hours still arent fixed. Other gyms have went back to 24 hours, but this one is still closing at midnight and 10 on Saturday. This makes it extremely difficult to get in, especially since Im on a night shift schedule. Ive still gotten no word as to when theyll return to normal. I dont think theyre cleaning during closing hours anymore because the gym is getting dirty as hell again. Not to mention that they removed most of the cleaning stations.
Ive been going to this gym for a couple of years now and its okay. Theyve made a couple changes that Im not a fan of. Namely taking out a racquetball court for another personal training area. Because the one in the middle of the gym isnt enough and then forcing people who use the guest pass to sign in again and again and again. My wife has signed the guest pass hundreds of times and it would be nice if she didnt have to do it every single time.
Way too busy unless you go late. Good gym tho
This location is very busy almost all the time, but it also has plenty of equipment. The staff are friendly but dont go above and beyond generally. The main issue here are gym goblins who hunker down on equipment and spend most of their time talking rather than working out. Still a good place to workout with plenty of amenities.
Its very crowded location but they have everything you need. There seems to be in amount of cliques that you seem to need to have prior to going to the gym or something to reserve equipment but I dont care about that, when asking around for where certain equipment was I got next to no answers and a lot of cold shoulders so its not too warm of a place to be if you just starting out compared to planet fitness where the amount of people is down to a quarter if not less and when you ask where machines are the point you and sometimes walk you directly to where the machine is and they dont even work there, I guess what Im saying is the self-involved egomaniacs are at Vasa and the caring individuals seem to gravitate towards something like anytime fitness or not as known gyms
It is a great place to work out, the staff is really friendly. And they are usually pretty quick at fixing any machines that are down. They also have a wide variety of machines.
This place can be super busy when the students are here, so you need to find a good time that works for you. This place struggled very hard to stay open during COVId. Im glad for their efforts
I love Vasa Fitness!! The people are friendly and very professional. The gyms are kept very clean and orderly. The instructors are fantastic. And itβs a very warm Homie feeling there. Every time I visit Utah I go to Vasa and I know I will have a great experience!!
Its a great place to train! During this pandemic I feel pretty safe training there. There are some rules such as cleaning all equipment after use or respecting social distance that guarantee a safe environment. You also have all the classes and equipment to train your body in the way that you feel most comfortable. I love this place!!
Love coming to VASA, its so open and clean and the atmosphere is motivating. Plenty of equipment and weights to go around! 4 stars just because its quite pricey and the $80 once-a-year fee is a bit of a challenge for the average college student.
BEWARE OF UNDISCLOSED FEES Iβd avoid this location in general because itβs the most packed gym and equipment you want to use is never available, though this is to be expected. However, their customer service is INEXCUSABLE. 3 months after cancelling my membership after moving out of state, I was charged with a yearly $64 fee that they refused to refund even though it is completely unwarranted. Donβt get a membership here unless you want it forever because they donβt let you quit without charges that donβt align with what the reps specifyUPDATE-They made sure to protect their image and reply to review publically, but never actually followed up or contacted me personally. Do better VASA
Ive been locked out of my account and have tried to reach them though email, call, and their online chat but never get a response. Everytime I have tried to log in I get a response saying my account doesnt exist but they seem to be able to find it to charge me. They told me my email wasnt in the system but emailed me to let me know about more money they want to pull from my account
Spacious and well organized, not to mention super clean!
Lehi needs another Vasa or a new bigger location β¦ way too many people and is very over crowded.
Iβm not sure how they are at other locations, but the university location has very unprofessional opening staff. I have had 3 different times where I am sitting in the parking lot for 20+ minutes waiting for the facility to open. Might as well sleep in or find a different location if you like to work out early.
This gym is very dishonest! In order to cancel your membership be prepared to be charged $60 along with that be ready to pay random fees though out the year. While they do have a good price for monthly memberships they charge other random fees. Please do your self a favor and avoid this gym.
34 minutes late opening today, then laughing like its ok on your way to unlock the door is definitely NOT OK either! I understand a few minutes, but 34 minutes is unacceptable especially when mornings is the only time I can come in..
Honestly I like this gym, usually I wouldnt complain too hard especially with a company I like. But - theres a few things I really havent been happy with lately and it seems like there wouldnt be any efforts made for correction if I left anything other than a one or two star review. The hours are the biggest complaint for me. I realize covid is very much a problem, but Im confused by the way this VASA has responded. The hours have been cut back - what was originally a 24 hour gym is now closing every night and early on Sundays. But I feel like the cleaning supplies run out frequently, automatic doors have been removed - which feels counterintuitive, the bathrooms can be pretty bad at times. If the priority has been slowing the spread of covid, why does it feel like the hours getting cut was just taking advantage of the pandemic to drop the 24 hour status? Isnt planet fitness open 24 hours? Even if its adjusting membership prices to account for cutting back on hours of availability, that would feel better. The employees are usually friendly, the location is great, and aside from a few broken machines which seem to always be down, I do enjoy this gym! If there can be some communication of timeframes and when we can see that coming back you can bet Ill come leave a more positive review. I would just like the value of a membership with VASA to come back!
So theyre no longer open 24 hrs to clean all surfaces during the night right? Why else would you not be open 24 hrs anymore? Well if theyre goal is to clean during closed hours, theyre not doing it. In the morning Ill be the first one in the gym and see wipes still on the ground by machines, if that simple task cant be done during cleaning hours then are you really cleaning at all? Probably not. So just stay open 24hrs please.
This gym has all the Olympic barbell strength training equipment. Its kept relatively clean.Areas they could improve:- peak afternoon times expect to wait 30+ minutes for a power rack- a lot of power lifters and not enough maintenance on barbells, frequently encounter bent bars with no replacement available, which is a safety hazard. Power racks have holes in the floorboard and no repair or replacement in over a year.- sometimes no clips, many people bring their own- their billing office threatened a penalty when my credit card was rejected due to me cancelling my card (credit card fraud). Next time my card number is compromised I can expect a nice fee from vasa! (-:
Jess at Vasaβs customer service was incredibly quick, polite, and helpful. She took care of multiple requests via email in a matter of minutes. Very pleased with this level of service.
People can say whatever they want about VASA, but if you like to work out and are serious about your fitness you wonβt find any excuses for not reaching your goals working out here. There are plenty of machines and other resources available, if you plan your visits you will learn which times are busier than others. All around a good gym especially for the price
Nice clean place to workout. Ive noticed some of the bikes have issues and could use some work done on them.
Very spacious and affordable. Worth it if you are gonna go to the gym frequently
Although Iβm glad they extended their open hours til 12pm. My issue with vasa is that there is obviously a large influx of people coming. This gym has been extremely packed lately (Possibly due to new year fitness goals).I feel like this over crowding issue could be easily resolved by reopening back to what I had originally signed up for.... 24 HOUR ACCESS! Once thatβs taken care of Iβll change my review. Thanks βπ½
Itβs clean, checking in for a workout is super easy.
Do not! And I repeat DO NOT sign up with vasa. They say there isnβt a sign up fee yet charge you the fee three months later without telling you. And when cancelling your membership they charge you for the next month as well which they do not tell you about and it is also very hard to cancel. If you get a membership and decide to cancel it be prepared. They charged me $110 to cancel my membership and they will not tell you about all their hidden fees when your signing up. STEER CLEAR OF THIS GYM. Horrible customer service and too many hidden fees to make it worth it.
Nice facility. A little crowded, but nice. A little disappointing to see people leave their trash everywhere. I also seen a lot of weight left on the machines and unracked. Staff was nice. I will return to workout there.
Vasa is a great gym. Plenty of equipment for all and any workout. Just stay away from evenings(crowded)
My friend Stockton Bart Brockbank and I go around 7:30 Am every morning after basketball at the church by the roundabout. Thereβs a really good crowd there. Keith, Crystal, Summer, Meg, Piper and Mia (to name a few). The atmosphere is great and the employees are helpful. The 1600 VASA has enabled me to do my favorite free-time activity; picking up heavy objects and putting them back where I found them. 5 stars.
I was a member for almost five years. VASA changed from Golds Gym (I was told by their marketing team) in part due to the poor reputation their company had regarding billing and collections. So I tried the new βimageβ and not to go into great detail they can, will, and have switched up their agreements without the members knowledge or consent. They left me, I didnβt leave them. Time to go to the community rec center I guess. π€·ββοΈIn response to your responseMy membership number is 4683137..... but prior to my posting this comment, had already talked with Colleen and was told I am out of luck. She βtalkedβ with her supervisor (maybe I was just placed on hold while she pretended to talk to someone.... I donβt know) but I tried to come to an amenable resolution to why VASA felt that they could change a long term agreement regarding my memberships. to have them call my children and myself liars when it came to this subject was a bit on the unprofessional side.... even after I provided evidence that the agreement was in fact the way I had claimed.I was told that VASA would not stand by the agreement that the manager of the VASA location originally had made with me because he was βnot corporateβ. Who the heck can be considered a representative of the company if not for a MANAGER?So please, I understand your job is in damage control of the reputation of your brand but I am not interested in public platitudes where you try to convince the audience that you care what happens in this situation. You have my number as requested. If you want to make it right feel free to call me and I would be happy to amend my rating.
This place rips you off like no other company Iβve ever used. First of all, the gym is so crowded that I could never get a chance to work out on the machines that I wanted, and that was exceedingly frustrating. So since I canβt really even work out, I went to cancel my membership and I get slapped with a $104 bill just to do that, even though the associate that signed me up in the first place told me that canceling would only cost $25. Thatβs just ludicrous. Cancellation cost more than 4 times what they told me. I even talked with a rep and she confirmed the amount. I got just a little off the original $104, but not nearly enough to make me happy. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone ever because of how busy it is and the amount of money they rip you off on
Great environment for working out, great people.
The gym is fine. The cost is ok. But you better be prepared to keep paying for whatever you sign up for for at least 6 months no matter how much or little youre satisfied with it. Otherwise, if you try to cancel, theyll charge you an arm and a leg for it. So might as well get your moneys worth. Also, be aware that the personal training is really good, but the actual company is really shady with how they charge. My trainer was sick one week so we canceled, then I got sick so I missed two sessions and I got charged for them anyways, and I found out that they just keep charging for sessions, whether you actually go or not, so youre supposed to make them up, or something, I guess. If you just want to work out, get the cheapest option, dont listen to their shady salespeople trying to get you to get the premium. Dont be tricked into it. PS if VASA actually reads this, paying your salespeople with commission just annoys the customer, rather than getting them to get the better plans. If you want us to get the better plans, treat us fairly and make them worth it. THE END (sorry for the novel) TLDR: Good gym, good people that work there, shady company, be prepared for all sorts of fees out of the blue.
This is one of the best gyms so far. Friendly staff and swimming pool.
I love it so much. but i have to say, it gets extremely busy and crowded and sometimes causes my social anxiety to be through the roof. Iβve been here for a year now and I can proudly say this is by far the best, most affordable gym membership iβve ever had. i just wish theyβd hurry and go back to being open for 24 hours because i cannot stand how busy it is during the day - especially right now being the time ppl are coming out of quarantine and into a new year π«
Good place to workout, hidden fees to join, fees to STAY, and fees to leave, fees to change membership levels. RIDICULOUS.
Amazing I dont know why I didnt do it sooner!!
Good facility, but WAY over-booked. They need to have a cap on memberships or something because its very difficult to get the machine or weights you want.
Do not trust this place with your finances.I canceled my membership and had proof of it through email. It was a battle having them contact collections and every time I talk to Collections they said VASA I had not emailed them yet. When I would call VASA back And told them they said they were had already contacted them.Over the nine months they had been billing me they never contacted me one time. Instead they just sent me straight to collections, when I posted the story on Facebook I had numerous friends, and say they knew someone that they did the same thing to. I hate this place..
I requested my membership to be canceled and was told that I would receive a confirmation email. Why have I not received the email? Now they say that they have found my account and it is not canceled. Then 2 minutes later they say your account is officially canceled now. Still no email to confirm that my membership is canceled. I have received everyones emails except for yours. Why do you continue to claim that you provided the email when clearly you didnt. Just a scam to keep charging members by not confirming that the membership is canceled.
Signed up yesterday and went in today a bit nervous, I have never been to a Vasa before (or any big gym before) and didnt know what to expect. I asked for a little tour and Erin walked me around and was super helpful! (Thank you!)The facility looks great! I love the Lady Vasa area especially. The downside was how busy it was and how many people were not wearing masks. My anxiety was a little heightened by that. But I know it is not Vasas fault if people dont use their masks while doing non-cardio exercises.
I have been going to this VASA for several years. The new renovations they are making have helped improve the look of the gym and also my personal work out routine.I have four kids who LOVE going to the kids care! Beth and Rachel are so great to work with and they make things fun for my kids. They do activities and crafts everyday. My favorite is the kids yoga time!I do team training four days a week and it has changed me. Paul and Gina have improved the efficacy of my workouts as well as my form. People of different fitness levels attend the classes and the trainers tailor the exercises to fit every need. When I was pregnant they helpto make sure I didnβt hurt myself and made adjustments when I needed to. If I was injured they helped work through my issues and not hurt myself more. The group-x classes are hard! And the variety is so great. I love high fitness, pump and cycle the most.I had to visit the corporate office a few times for issues with my membership. Kylie and Jalayne are wonderful! Quick to help get my families membership in order and very friendly.
Just cancelled my membership... watch out for their hidden fees when you sign up. Seems cheap but its not, there are freeze fees, price hold fees, cancellation fees. Im tired of it and am canceled my membership today and paid the $53 fee to do that just to stop the surprise billings. Very poor customer experience given the current COVID situation. Bar Code: 985985V
Always has had great service, sometimes can be busy but if you pick the right times its more than easy to be able to get done what you want to get done. definitely recommend its very nice facilities.
Good Funnn people and a lot of amenities
Itβs a vasa. A sweaty, busy, smelly, crowded, buff, poppin, beefy, happy vasa.
Great gym. I have heard bad reviews but I personally have never had a problem with them. Tons of treadmills and a large free weight area.
Overall, this is a decent gym for the price you pay. It has all the equipment you need. My main complaint would be that it is always very crowded. I try and go during the βslowβ times around 1pm or 2pm and almost always end up having to wait in line for a squat rack. It isnβt uncommon for me to have to wait 10-15 minutes for a rack. I canβt imagine what itβs like during the mornings or evenings. My other complaint would be that a year ago, I went in person to downgrade my membership from the second level to the basic membership. The boy working said he changed it for me. I have heard of the horror stories of people trying to cancel and vasa making it almost impossible for them to so I even asked the boy working if he could make note somewhere on my profile that I came in that day to change it in case of any future issues. He said that he did. My fault for not asking for some kind of confirmation in writing through email or on paper. A couple months later I noticed I was still getting charged the $22 a month or whatever it was for the second level membership. I went back in person and told them but because there was no proof of me asking (the boy apparently didnβt make note of me coming in that day) to change it a couple months prior, they couldnβt reimburse me. I found out that I had to change it online. There was no problem once I did that. My friend had a very similar experience when she tried freezing her account due to covid. I think the root of the problem is poor training of employees. It seems like these should be basic skills staff at a gym should have β how to cancel, change and freeze accounts without issues.
My original trainer I had was let go and I was assigned a new trainer. However, Im not getting much out of these training sessions and my new trainer is horrible about reaching out to schedule with me. I have expressed my concerns and he is the only trainer available during the time frame I am free. I wanted to just cancel but was told I can either sell my membership and pay $100 or Id have to be 25 miles away from VASA fitness. I dont understand why I cant just buy out my contract or cancel when none of this is my fault. This has been an extremely negative experience which is a shame, since Ive been a long time member at my VASA location.
We joined this gym because it was cheap and had all the equipment we wanted, but we soon realized it was a mistake to sign up here for several reasons. The treadmills always had gum or tissue in the cup holders. The bathrooms were always disgusting and I dreaded whenever I had to use one. They would randomly take padding off of equipment without leaving any signs. There would be blood on the base of the squat racks. Their free weights were always a mess. They had a ton of employees standing around talking to each other, would have been nice if some of them could have addressed these issues. They have a very convenient system for getting into the gym, but they even managed to ruin that. Even though you should just be able to scan your phone and go, they insist on holding the scanner themselves so we would often wait in line for an employee to get off the phone or stop talking to each other and sign me in. My husband were finally able to cancel after waiting the 6 months to avoid the fee. This took forever and the front desk employees were no help. We finally figured it out and realized it was so difficult because both of our birthdays were entered in incorrectly by one day. The fact that both were this way makes me wonder if they didnt do it on purpose to make it more difficult to cancel. Either way we are relieved to be done with this gym and would not recommend it to anyone.
Vasa has poor business practices and I would not recommend signing up. They tell you its 12$ a month but neglect to tell you all the other fees they plan on charging you. They charge a heck of a lot of money to cancel and dont tell you up front including a cancelation fee and rate guarantee fee which totals over 90$ . They have terrible communication and miserable customer service.
Wouldnβt waste your money here . I went for 2 years but now itβs always full open -close . Canβt find a machine you want cause itβs always full.
Way too many people I used to be a regular and now Iβm getting ready to switch to a different gym .salem fitness
I KNOW YOU CLOSE IN 30 MINUTES, STOP TURING THE LIGHTS OFF. im paying to be here until 4pm let me be here until 4pm or whenever you close depending on the day. Also please fix your machines and racks, they have been broken for over a month now.
Itβs always pretty dirty
I was a member for over two years. And when COVID hit my membership, like many, was put on hold. I did not receive any sort of proper and clear notice asking me if I would like to reinstate my account, and was charged for multiple months even though the last time I had entered a location was in February. When I disputed the charges due to a global panic, the gym did nothing to help me. Absolutely shocking. They do not care about their customers at all. I have canceled my membership.
The worst experience since the pandemic hit.It is supposed for them to be closed during the pandemic time, but they reopened putting the members lives in risk to get infected, and they did it just to charge you whether you go to workout or not.I explained to them that I was in quarantine, because many of my coworkers were infected positive to the COVID-19, but they didnβt care. They were charging me for the annual membership, for all the months they should have been closed plus interests and fees.In their ads they claim: $10.00 dollars a month, but thatβs not true.If you are looking for a decent and honest gym, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. I would recommend you to go somewhere else. It is better for you to commute a little bit more, instead of paying all the hidden fees, interests, problems with collections agencies and more.
...Iβve been told someone will reach out to me quickly, and they havenβt. See my original post. Weβre on to two months of spinning wheels and hollow solutions from Vasa; but they want to charge me for non-use of their facilities while theyβve been delaying helping me. Iβm waiting for Vasa to step up and resolve my issues.
I love the amenities. Plus, the selection of weights and equipment is fantastic. The price isnt bad either. The one thing that irritates me is the Rate Guarantee Fee! It is just an excuse to earn more money. Vasa might as well charge us $15 dollars for the base plan, but to make it more appealing they say it is $9.99. It irks me to say the least. With taxes I am essentially paying $18 a month, when it should be just the $9.99 monthly rate with 3 dollars or so of taxes on top. It is a sly move on Vasas part. I appreciate business strategies, but this one toes the line between smart and deceitful. I am sorry to bag on this particular Vasa, but it is my Vasa. I am a fan of this gym, but not appreciate a scam like the Rate Guarantee Fee. How about instead of paying you more money to keep the rate $9.99 a month, you just give us your word that you will not change it. We dont need to pay you for this service. It should be a given.
Beautiful with beautiful people and beautiful employees. We live like Larry here. Also Joanna is the best customer service rep Iβve ever spoken to.
I was happy with my experience with Vasa prior to the pandemic and I was thrilled that they froze accounts when we had a spike in Utah. My frustration with this company boils down to how things are being run now. In order to keep myself and others around me safe, I decided not to go back to the gym and have keep my account frozen. Now, Vasa is charging a fee to do so and, if you want to cancel, they told me they would charge me my annual fee + a 1 month membership fee because, as I just found out, they require a one month notice...Sure feels like Vasa is trying to encourage me to be irresponsible and be in a gym full of people who dont take this threat seriously.
Kade was super helpful as we sorted out our memberships!
Bathroom is never cleaned. NEVER! Always stinks and never cleaned. No TP during rush hour either. Itβs sad. Never seen anything like it.
One of the cleanest and largest locations and best of all they donβt require masks! Please donβt change that policy. Would probably loose me and a lot of people as customers.
Like other members I was notified by VASA that membership dues will be suspended due to Covid earlier this year and probably like other members, I was NOT notified that membership dues would resume in May and through the summer months of the pandemic. They refused to refund any of the charges including the membership renewal I was charged last month for $80.00 without notification. I did mange to get them to cancel my membership though. How very nice of them! What a poor way to conduct business and treat your customers. Even worse theyve lost a member forever who was simply waiting to return when it was safe to do so. Good luck VASA! Im sure someone from VASAs marketing department will read this and keep on scrolling while sipping on his/her wheat grass smoothie. Ive also posted this review for VASA Riverton. ***IN RESPONSE TO VASA. PLEASE MY MEMBER INFO. Member Number: 7483002647227WBarcode: 1034133V
You have to pay money to cancel, you have to pay money to freeze, like seriously how greedy is this company
Terrible communication by VASA. Me and my wife canceled last summer when the height of Covid was around. Well this week, we had a 64 dollar charge from them almost a year later. They couldnβt give us a reason as to why we had this charge so long ago and would not refund it. As always, VASA being greedy/shady.
Love the gym, classes, and kid care!! Honestly the daycare is what keeps me going back- my little girl absolutely loves it and always has so Much fun with all of their little activities- feels more like a preschool than kid care. Loving all the new upgrades with the new gym as well
Itβs a great gym and you can really get a cheap price for your membership! Whenever I go earlier in the morning like 9 or later at 8/9pm I never have any issues finding a rack.
Very helpful staff.
Please see my review for the Murray location. Tons of others who have had their memberships sent over to collections ILLEGALLY! I paid my last month, and should not have gone to collections. I called and the agent was worthless. AVOID VASA!
Absolutely awful service, my wife went here and was told she could sign a waiver and workout for free for a day and they ended up creating an account for her which went to collections because of failed payments and then we had to dispute it on her creditkarma.Along with that their phones are never answered when trying to resolve literally anything so all you can do is go online to pay to cancel (after paying annual renewal fees and cancellation fees) even after their reps will tell you there arent any just to get you going so they can sell you their (average) workout routines/plansstraight cheeks
