I am not a resident but my review is based on the experience of trying to lease an apartment here.Reached out to them through several channels. All communication attempts went unanswered. All phone calls will go straight to voicemail and they will never revert. If thats the experience when you are trying to lease, imagine how it will be if you have get something fixed once you are a tenant!

Since it came under new management the apartment complex has plummeted into something that I am willing/going to break my lease to get out of!! The manager Jesse is condescending and has a passive aggressive attitude toward tenants and problems. Look elsewhere! I am!

Sherry from the leasing office was great, professional, polite and very patient with questions. The community itself is beautiful. The rooftop solarium, views and interior of the building are all quite impressive!

I lived at this property for one year and I only have good things to write about. The management is really helpful, considerate and they make you feel at home. The apartments also have good sound proofing. The building offers great amenities like beautiful city views from the roof, nice relaxing lounge, monthly events organized by the management etc. My only concern was the fire siren noise from time to time. I got used to it in a few weeks, but if you are a light sleeper thats something to know about.

The staff at Verve really make this place a home. Its a great location and its a modern building, of course, but those things arent nearly as important as the people we interact with on a daily basis. Thank you Britt, Bri, Sarah, Val, Nick, Antony and all of the others who have made daily life much easier and more pleasant. Bonus, this place and almost all the people who work and live here love dogs! Watson, our terrier, is a very happy resident.

Ive been living here for a few months now and have been blown away with the management! I have lived in quite a few apartment complexes and this by far has been the most well managed, friendliest and most responsive management team. Nick specifically has been so helpful! I am honestly blown away by how hard he works to provide excellent service and am impressed by the team in creating events for the residents in the building to meet each other. The facilities are beautiful and the location is great. Definitely feels like a very community environment and as a transplant to Seattle it has been nice to so easily make friends with people in the building!

Saw an ad for a listing but nobody has answered the phone. Ive been calling literally every 15 minutes for 3 days as we are looking to move ASAP to Seattle for job relocation. Ive also left two voicemails but no reply. The lack of responsiveness at this stage concerns me.

The friendly leasing agents told me about all the specials and the community amenities. They were very knowledgeable about nightlife, dining options, outdoor events.

Moved from Orlando, FL to Seattle in October and decided to make Verve our new home. We looked at Alto, Astro, AVA, and a few others. This place was the best by far. This place has a good selection of amenities, the rooftop 360 view on the 14th floor is incredible. The rooftop indoor common area is very nice, big windows and tons of seating and outlets to get work done with a great view of Queen Anne and Seattle Center. Our apartment is a studio floorplan, 540 sq feet and is a perfect size for us. Ceilings are exposed concrete and transmit very muffled occasional sound from upstairs neighbors, much better than traditional building construction using wood. Windows are very large, rising from 20 inches above the floor all the way to the ceiling. Two windows open about 6 inches and let in plenty of ventilation. There are also 2 foot wide vents that can be opened along every other window all the way across for maximum air movement. Beautiful, quiet, matching new GE appliances (glass stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer) that sing short tunes when they are done. Plenty of power outlets in good locations. Overall lighting is adequate and all LED, the kitchen track lighting is the best and we supplemented it with LED lamps. Closets are nice, we have two and they are great. Spacious bathroom, tub and sink, nice granite counters in both the kitchen and bathroom. Floor is wood laminate, but it works fine and looks great. We installed a set of dark panel curtains from IKEA to separate the living and work area, allowing us to bring the TV to the center of the space. Kitchen cabinet space is tight, but just fine for a studio apartment.Located near lots of things to do. Seattle Center is right across the street. Downtown is a 15 minute walk away. Mantra and Zeeks Pizza are right downstairs. Groceries are at QFC about 4 blocks away or Whole Foods about 6 blocks away. The building has Wave G gigabit internet access, unreal speeds for working, gaming and streaming movies. Hallways are small and private, only about 12 units per floor which makes it quiet. The floors and walls are concrete, very good for noise reduction. Over three years and multiple neighbors, Ive heard them only a handful of times. Two fast elevators are in the center of the building. Garbage and recycling are on every floor, large recycling and food compost are on the 1st floor. All doors are controlled electronic access, including the key to your front door. Very private, very secure. We have not had a single issue with the move in process, nor living here for nearly three years. Ill update the review over time. I highly recommend checking this place out!Update 2017-02-08: Verve installed a locker system called Parcel Pending before the holidays. Its been very convenient for retrieving and tracking packages 24/7 over the last 2 months. Just input a 6-digit code sent to your phone and your locker opens.Update 2017-06-17: We had a portable AC unit installed about a month ago in preparation for some hot days this summer. Works great in our small space. If youre a current (or future) tenant whos curious about the setup, I added two photos to their Yelp page.Update 2017-10-11: Just signed another 12 month lease, very happy with our place. The lobby and rooftop just had major upgrades to furniture, looks great! Location has been excellent for us over the past year.Update 2019-05-16: We signed our 3rd lease last fall in the same unit. We had our floors upgraded around this time, the new floors are wonderful. We moved our stuff into a storage unit and stayed overnight in the guest suite, crew was in and out in less than 6 hours. The new staff in the office are wonderful, Franklin and Amelia are great!

Pros:The building is great for views, and maintenance and services are prompt.Cons:Thin walls: Voice travels between apartmentsLot of noise from ambulances and fire enginesLogic behind move out charges.I am leaving these details about the move-out process so that fellow tenants are aware of the issues.I had bad experience with the move-out process. I kept my apartment is really good condition, and didnt use any nails or drill holes on the walls, and when I moved out, the paint and the walls were in really good condition. After moving out, I chose to be present at the time of inspection. First, they gave me a Sunday appointment. When I got there, they said they dont do move-out inspections on Sunday and gave me a Monday 9 AM appointment. When I got there on Monday morning, the maintenance supervisor said they have already done the inspection, and didnt find any damages or issues. He said that we will paint the apartment, because its standard, and thats what we do for all apartments in this building. I trusted Nik and didnt argue about this.Later, I read the WA state tenant rights and realized that they cant charge me for paint, giving this reason, and tenant can only be charged if the damage is beyond normal wear and tear.I tried to dispute the charges with greystar but got these responses:1) We disagree with you on the wall damage and we dont need to provide you any proof or pics for it because we are not obligated to do so.2) You should have been present at move-out inspection. Now, I am not a lawyer, and neither I have enough time on my hands to hire a lawyer and drag this, nor I am going to sweat over this amount, but I was expecting some logical and decent conversation with greystar instead of being given standard answers which basically mean Screw you for not covering all your bases. The amount of paint fee and cleaning fee itself is very reasonable, but it was more of an issue of principal for me. I wouldnt be leaving 1 star rating despite the charges if people from greystar were not rude. In the end they just said, what are you going to do. True words. So, Ill just leave this review here.
