Highly recommend Tower12 if you are considering moving in! Great location with amazing city views, professional staff helps streamline the leasing process, and most importantly, amazing concierge and support team who are always there for you!We really appreciate the staffs efforts in cultivating a sense of community through neighborly events such as BBQs, Yappy Hours, and yoga classes. The maintenance team is always extremely responsive to requests and the cleaning staff are always taking care of us behind the scenes. Furthermore, the building is extremely pet friendly and even your fur baby will love it! :)
Christina Nguyen, leasing consultant, went above and beyond to help me find a perfect apartment at Tower12. Initially, I was interested in an another apartment and I just called Tower12 to casually explore my options. However, after talking with Christina, she has been so fantastic and helpful that I chose Tower 12 as my new home in Seattle without any hesitation. Christina has been by far the most professional consultant that I have talked to in several years. Thanks a lot!
Pros: Clean apartment with a great roof. The best part was the incredibly friendly and helpful concierge. The concierge genuinely made my experience living here much better and helped me out multiples times when I needed things like a few sheets printed or for them to hold onto something for a little bit. Also its been great to have AC. It was very rare for anything in the apartment to stop working and when it did, maintenance was prompt. I also loved the gym and the incredible view you get when running on the treadmills. To top it off theres free sodas in the movie room and nice periodic community events!Cons: The trash chute was out of service very regularly and I think the building needs to have 1 more elevator than it currently does. Every now and then Ive seen long lines forming waiting for elevators and there have been times when the elevator doesnt come for 10 minutes and when it does its packed making me wait once again. When we moved out, they repainted the entire apartment (walls and ceilings) and took it out of our security deposit which makes me feel they took money from our security deposit for maintenance rather than actual damage.
Location, location, location - with all the amenities of a high-end complex. The workout room equipment is state of the art, with expansive views of the waterfront and Elliott Bay. Outdoor deck gives you an unparalleled view of the Olympic mountains and a comfortable spot to entertain friends and clients on a sunny day.Just two blocks from the Pike Place Market and right across the street from the historic Moore Theater music venue, and surrounded with dozens of quality eateries in the area.
I feel so sad to no longer call Tower 12 home. We had some of our best memories there. The building management and staff did everything they could to make us feel at home and taken care of, especially during the challenging time of a global pandemic.Apart from the amazing staff, the building itself was also too notched: well maintained facilities / amenities, great location, and the best view of the bay in the city.Thank you, Tower12, for two good years!
We toured Tower 12 with Steve and fell in love with the building and location. Steve is one of the best agents weve worked with in the city. He took the time to understand our needs and was extremely thorough. (Not to mention his professional broadcaster voice haha)Highly recommend Tower 12 for anyone wanting the high rise experience in a great location with an excellent staff.
This is a very nice building with an amazing service.
I only toured the apartments so I cant speak to living there, but the leasing agent we had (Christina), was incredibly attentive and thorough. My girlfriend and I toured over 10 apartment buildings in the area and none were as professional and caring as Tower 12. Again, take this review with a grain of salt because we havent signed with Tower12, but if the building/management is as good as the leasing office, youll be in great hands
Great, safe, quiet and beautiful building. Team at leasing, front desk, security and maintenance are all kind & responsive. Good overall value for units, amenities, location and more. Thanks for making T12 a wonderful home!
We have been living in Tower 12 for more than two years, and have a wonderful time here, although there are a few small problems – nobody is perfect. You guys are friendly and caring, especially during this difficult time when we are experiencing together – COVID-19 and not peaceful environment in the city. We highly appreciate your great efforts and help! The masks and sanitizers provided, the extra security personnel hired, and interesting inclusive activities in safe form organized mark your significant excellence as a great apartment operator. Thank you so much, Team Tower 12!
Beautiful apartments, views, and amenities. The staff is very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Everything feels clean and well maintained.Maintenance requests are quickly resolved and there are community activities offered weekly, which is nice. The dog run is a nice perk, but some dog owners want the whole area to themselves, so sometimes you have to wait in line.My only complaints are that there are not quite enough elevators and the trash chutes are often out of order.
Awesome modern high rise in the heart of downtown Seattle. Spectacular views, great floor-plans, nice community, charming and friendly staff.
Tower 12 is the place to live in Seattle! The staff is so friendly and personal they make Tower 12 home; Always happy and attentive. The resident events are perfect for meeting new friends in a new city. The sunsets are amazing from the 24hour rooftop deck. I would recommend it to anyone moving from out of the city as well as locals looking to move downtown.
We lived at Tower 12 for the past two and a half years and absolutely loved it. The staff are amazing, we will miss interacting with all of our good friends in the concierge and leasing office every day. We’ll also miss all the fantastic events and gatherings that made Tower 12 really feel like a community. Not to mention hanging out on the rooftop with THE BEST view in the entire city. Highly recommend Tower 12 for anyone looking to live in a downtown Seattle high rise.
I love it here! First of all, the staff has always been kind and friendly-- who doesnt enjoy a great welcoming environment when youre coming home; and I feel like everyone is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure any of my concerns are taken care of. Location is prime and our views are excellent!
We were going to rent a unit here but got a bait and switch instead. We got a price yesterday for 12 months from Taryn who is the excellent leasing agent who there on the weekends. Of note, we were also willing to leave our current place a month early and pay double rent for a month to live here.Today, we called to apply and was told by another woman visiting from corporate who said they are no longer giving out 12 months leases and are only doing 14 month leases now. She told us she mentioned this to us the day before. For one, neither me nor my husband heard this and two, it isnt any different of a deal when you calculate the overall cost. It would have actually been $200 more per month out of our pockets in the end.We wouldnt even have minded signing a 14 month lease because were looking for a home for several years until our condo is ready, but this person specifically left a really bad taste in our mouths. Tower 12 must be having serious problems if theyre bringing in corporate and treating potential tenants like this. Her and the leasing agent were practically fighting in front of us when we were there. In the end, were disappointed, but were glad the flag was raised because now were going to confidently rent from another property who has much nicer amenities and seems like a more secure of a place to stay for a couple years.Dont waste your time here, theyre obviously on the way out, no matter how nice the apartments are or how nice they may be to your face.
Everyone enjoys their stay at Tower 12. This building has great amenities, views, and customer service. Specifically, Brandon Smith provides the best customer service to all residents, guests, and vendors!
I would not move in to Tower 12. There is a high risk of contracting covid 19 there because management does not seem to care. They have a policy of not enforcing social distancing or wearing of face masks. The elevators are frequently very crowded (because there are only 3 elevators and one of the three is used for moving and often locked down) and there many residents who do not wear face masks in the elevators. YOU HAVE A HIGH CHANCE OF BEING EXPOSED TO COVID. Unlike other high rises in the area where management has set a good example by posting signs and encouraging the residents to wear masks, the management of this building states its a government mandate to wear masks and as such it is the responsibility of the government to enforce mask wearing.
I love this team! So kind and always are willing to lend a helping hand. Amazing views! Great location.
The building presents a high risk for coronavirus. Your life is being endangered by self absorbed residents who live there and refuse to wear face masks. The building management I feel does not care and rather seems to enable those who don’t wear face masks. The elevators are usually crowded since there are only 3 elevators for over 300 apartments. In the small confined space of the elevators you are exposed to one of the many residents who don’t wear masks and is a perfect spreading ground for covid. The management has minimal signage about wearing masks and has done little to encourage and nothing to enforce mask wearing
This community is absolutely breathtaking! The views are phenomenal but more significant than that was how great the staff is! They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and right at home!
Tower 12 is a wonderful place to call home! From the concierge desk team that goes above and beyond to provide great, personalized service to the hard working crew that keeps the common area clean and updated, and I can’t forget to mention the T12 has some of the best views in Downtown Seattle! The pet relief area is also a treat for the dog’s in the building and the group fitness classes, resident events, and friendly neighbors are all something that makes living here amazing!
Tower 12 is THE PLACE TO LIVE! From the breathtaking views, beautiful apartments, location and one of a kind staff- Tower 12 is perfect! The location is walking distance to a never ending list of restaurants and shops. They host SO MANY amazing resident events so if you’re new to Seattle, you will have no problems making friends- the residents here are all so friendly, they’re like a family!
Tower 12 is a great place to live! The office and maintenance teams are professional and kind. They also host great resident events.
What a gorgeous property! The view is unparalleled and the amenities are awesome. You feel like you’re living in a five star hotel.
I LOVE living at Tower12. I have lived in various buildings downtown and this is by far the best. From the amazing staff, to the gorgeous rooftop, to the social residents (no Seattle freeze here!), this is definitely a great place to call home. Highly recommended!
Beautiful building. Everyone is so friendly and down to earth. Rooftop is amazing. Came in to tour in the evening. The sunset from the rooftop was perfect, could totally see myself living here!!
I love Tower 12! The only thing that beats the views of Elliott Bay is the team that works tirelessly to keep the residents happy! 12/10 would recommend
I wasnt able to move in to these amazing apartments due to work logistics. Both the apartments and management are wonderful so you will not be disappointed.
Just have to say, Tila is a wonderful leasing agent!!! She gave us a tour of Tower 12 and was very friendly and personable. The building is welcoming and the view from the rooftop is awesome!!! Would love to live there.
We were shown around the premise by a knowledgeable young man. The views are gorgeous! And the deck off the lounge was to die for!!
Tower 12 is in an amazing location in the heart of Belltown. It is loaded with wonderfull amenities as well as an extremely Attentive staff. The view from Tower 12 is breath taking in all directions. Ill rate Tower 12, hands down, the best in Seattle!
I absolutely LOVE Tower 12. The staff is amazing and so are the views! 😍 Tower 12 is such a great environment to be in!
I visited Tower 12 recently and was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the well-designed interior with amenities. Looks to be an great place to live!
BEST WATER VIEWS IN THE CITY! You cant beat their 34th floor roof top! Staff is very nice and building is kept very clean!
Ask residents, take them aside and inquire their experience. Do this outside the building when residents come and ho. Elevators are often down creating 10 to 20 minutes to get off your floor or even back to your unit. Staff are very nice However. This is a construction flaw. There are only 3 elevators. One is reserved for people moving in or out. This leaves 2 to operate. And when one is down imagine the hundreds if folks trying to come home or leave in one elevator. Do your research fully as the MGMT company offers no concessions for these frequent frustrating events.
If you are looking for beautiful views of Seattle Tower12 is the place to live! This building has great amenities and an amazing staff who hosts awesome community events every month.
Wonderful service. Very kind people. Gorgeous builiding!
Great apartments in a good neighborhood. Everything is great unless one has any issues or complaints. The current staff is not so helpful when a resident has a complaint. Extended lease here only because I didnt want to spend time and money moving to another apartment.
Complex has a great location, with amazing views of the city. Workout room has lots to choose from with a nice view as well.
I lived here for 9 months and found both teams to be quite capable and friendly. If I had to break it down I’d give 5 Star for staff and 3 for other things mainly elevator issues and trash. I don’t blame current management as they have been trying to address it but seems more like poor choice of mechanicals for these items. Also, the rent was high - I did have a nice view but with the increase the cost for a larger one bedroom was just too much. I did think though the central a/c, gym, rooftop were great. The regular staff was awesome but also a special shout-out to maintenance staff - they were always friendly and willing to hop off elevator if it was full. Thanks!
Great views and the building is great in theory. While I love living here, it is too expensive for how many issues there are. For starters, the elevators are always down, causing 10-20 minute delays to exit your building. The trash shoots are also always broken which is very inconvenient to take down to the lower levels, especially since the elevators are slow. We moved in in July, and since then we have lost hot water twice, not being able to shower. There has also recently been incidents of cars getting broken into in the garage. If it werent for the price we pay to live here, it would not be as big of a deal. We have never been compensated for the issues we experience.
My boyfriend and I have toured and viewed all of the high rise downtown Seattle apartment buildings. Out of all of the new buildings, Tower 12 stood out the most. This is the only building that allows your dog to go anywhere in the building. When you are allowed to have your dog on the rooftop, that is a huge selling point for us. Based off of the other reviews, we decided to go with a 4th floor apartment to stay away from the elevators on a daily basis. All of the new buildings seem to have some growing pains. This building is a bit more expensive than the other buildings but has the best dog friendly attitude and does not require a pet deposit like most of the other buildings.
Update 9-2018 - I am still very pleased with the building and I do believe the current management is doing a very good job. Our elevators woes have decreased substantially and the steps they took to manage the bad trash behavior from the residents has made a huge difference. There are always going to be problems in buildings this size but I think everyone is doing their best to please as many people as possible. Its all about how you approach the problems. Making an appointment and discussing the situation that is troubling you goes a long way in being part of the solution. I believe the staff here starts each day with a desire to help people. Hopefully people remember that before posting complaints on the internet. I am very appreciative for the help and consideration I have received of late. It has taken some of the stress out of my current situation. I love my apartment, my view and the location. And I am grateful for the team at Weidner.Past Review:Couldnt be happier with my apartment and the view that comes with it. Strong sense of community here. Glad I chose Tower12!
I always enjoy visiting this building! Outside it is archeteual eye candy! The lobby only continues it with the ceiling art. The staff is sincere and caring in everyway.
Anthony Bourdain would have loved it here!
Weve lived in this building since June 2017 and have enjoyed it from day 1 until now. We would recommend this building to anyone in a heartbeat. Centrally located to everything! It is not perfect by al means but comes pretty close. The rooftop is the best especially if you enjoy admiring the PNW view and just all of downtown. If you like to stay active, oh boy, theres a pretty good gym for you with a yoga/barre studio. If youre super buff and needs other fitness toys, it may not have everything, but trust me, youll be fine! Working out never got easier and nicer when you have the best views in Seattle! The apartments have nice finishes and appliances. I believe theres an apartment size for all. Weve been lucky enough to live on the 6th floor with one of the large/r/est (still smaller than penthouses) patios that we use everyday to play soccer with our dog. We did choose this unit specifically for its strategic location to the dog run area and for the size of the patio when we pre-leased this unit in January 2017 :) In the summer time, weve grown a lot of plants from (smaller) peach tree, to lemon, jasmine flower, rose, kale, tomatoes and a bunch of herbs such as cilantro, parsley, lavender, oregano, etc. Yes, we just love our apartment! Really enjoy the open floor plan! Can you believe that we were able to fit our 10-seater acacia wood dining table in our dining room? --> we had 2 of those, one we placed in the patio for the summer outdoor gatherings!Staff: The best. Concierge team cares about you and gets to know you. Theyll take care of whatever you need. (Thanks, Nate, for knowing whether its my book club time and/or my workout time (or any other event) with the girls for my womens group). Maintenance staff: fast and efficient. Honestly dont know all of their names since you dont interact with them much nor see them if you need something fixed but when you do see them, theyre very friendly! Leasing staff: all very nice and approachable! LeAnna and her whole team deserves an applause!Again, its not a perfect building and it certainly has had many issues the past 1.5+ years, however, theyve done their best job to resolve many of the issues.Advise to new residents: if something is broken and/or you need help, seek help by telling someone, maybe concierge and/or leasing officer, and guaranteed, someone will try their best to resolve your issues. And really, lets all be kind in this world, and show your gratitude/appreciation by letting them know the positives as well.Thank you, Tower12! Youre the best!Isabel and Josh
Stunning views of the bay, friendly staff. Very accomodating!
Tower12 has been my home since when it first opened. I was in love with this building then and NOW. This is in a perfect downtown location, so if you are looking for a new home.. this would be it! Its in a corner that is quiet enough because its not Pikes Place Market yet and not yet Belltown per se. You cannot beat its rooftop views! The gym is on the rooftop overlooking the water and the Olympics and the sky lounge is overlooking the city with views of the other mountains. The staff are extremely friendly both from the leasing office and the concierge team. Yes, there have been a few issues within the last 18 months, however, I truly believe that Weidner has done its best to resolve issues/situations the best they can. Weidner was not the original owner of this building, so they did not oversee the build out of this building. Trash chute issues always clogged, well, theyve hired someone to monitor the trash chutes throughout the day so we dont have this constant issue anymore. Slow elevators, well, theyve worked with the elevator company and have now made changes to make them run faster and also to have 2 fob units so people dont have to rush punching in their apartment floors with 1 fob unit inside the elevator. 6th floor - I live on the the 6th floor so I can definitely talk about this. Many complained about the smell on the 6th floor due to the dog run, theyve changed the floor from carpet to wood by the elevators so that has helped tremendously. Theyve also added the covering/awning for pet owners and pets in the dog run so youre not being rained on when you take out your dog. And lastly, lets talk about the multiple events that they put on for residents every month from Italian Night dinner, to Paint and Sip, to football season events, to Yappy Hour days for pet owners, to rose all day events, to different prizes that they give away (that Ive missed sadly)... really, no one should be complaining. The management team do care and they do listen... youll see if you choose to see and hear them out. Really, you can walk everywhere and take buses everywhere. Of course, you can uber/lyft too! Beautiful building with great staff.
The roof top is never cleaned, nor your windows. The garage is constantly being broken into (women beware)!!! Everything is always broken (expect 10 mins waits from the elevator- ALWAYS)....nobody looks after the gym equipment 🙄 (broken). Not the highrise you would expect 🤦🏼♀️
Amazing building with breathtaking views and the amenities are top of the line
This is a public warning! every since this new company took over this place has gone down hill. Ave 5 really knew how to manage a hig rise place. LeAnna has no clue on how to manage an apartment complex. The staff is rude. One person by the name of Mark talks ill about people of color( which explains why there is no staff of dark pigment working here). Since the new company has tooken over there has been serveral brake ins into storage unts, cars, and into the building.Trash chutes are always down, elevators never working, hot water is often down, no heat during the cold months, AC not working, building always has an issue and it has not been a year since its been built. The security sucks, all they do is sit down and do nothing! There is such a high amount of holmess people in a secured area using drugs and every time you enter into the building you have to make sure you are not walking into a filed of syrines and needles. The amount money that is being paid to live here is a joke. Coffee machine doesnt hardly work and you cant find cups in the gym as well as clean towers. The place is always a mess! hallways are never cleaned the dog area is always a mess and smells smh! Save your money and go else where! As the person mentioned before me TALK TO THE PEOPLE THAT LIVE HERE! every month they throw a cheap event that last an hour or two smh when they should be using our money to fix the freaking building! As stated in the opening AVE 5 was the best! the staff was friendly the front desk staff ( Andrew, and Chris) would get off their butts and clean and the two night security officers were friendly as well ( James and Tiffany)! I truly do miss them! The staff allows residents to post pictures of your trash on a site called Activebuilding displaying your name and personal information. The stairs require keys which is crazy cause the elevators never are working and you have to wait 30mins to an hour to get to your apartment. They dont have a service team that lives in the building so get use to no AC,hot water, or heat. Oh let me not add the storages units were flooded out due to a broken pipeline they failed to fix in a timely manger! I asked to be let out of my lease they stated I woud need to pay to break it which is a joke! Front door lobby doors do not work when you use your key smh! Fire place on the 6th floor never works! ......I can go on and on about how bad this place is! We the residents should file a class action law suit against this place for false advertisement! This place is nothing more but a pig with pretty lipstick! Outlets doesnt work stove always out OMG just turn this place into section 8 housing already and be done with it!
Great higher end city living. In the middle of it all with views and amenities.
Staff is very friendly as well as professional they always bring a smile to your face when you walk in.
This place is AMAZING! The view from the rooftop is what living in Seattle is all about!!!
This property is fantastic!!
I loved it, I went to visit and stayed for two weeks and it was a very beautiful experience, I liked it a lot.
