I think all the negative comments have covered the bases. Rude managers that are replaced every 1-2 years. None of the community rooms, tech rooms, workout rooms are every open/available/accessible. Manger/office is rarely open during office hours. They throw away your items, dont care about security risk or responding to requests from their tenants. Total trash management. A family member of mine has been here 8+ years and its always been this way. 3 previous managers have been replaced because it was found they were stealing money from tenants then claiming they were never received. Like I said. TRASH.

NO RESIDENT/CUSTOMER SERVICE. I completely agree with As review and conclusion that you should not rent here. On average, it takes them about four months to resolve anything that needs to be fixed in your apartment. They will tell you that they will fix it, contact you, etc., but trust me, they are all lies. They will have forgotten about your request to fix the problem, not contact you, or pretty much do anything that they say that they will do. Although it takes them months to fix the issues in your apartment, if they want something from you, they want you to comply immediately. I’ve been told by Kim Walker, the manager, to do something that she had requested that same minute “NOW!” Notices have also been sent on the same day that they will want you to have accomplished the task by, otherwise there will be consequences for you for not complying that same day. So if you were working that day, you would be screwed because you wouldnt be home to have received the notice and comply to it by 5:00 P.M. If you dont want a bunch of eviction notices on your rent record, go elsewhere. Like I said, because most of their notices are not really notices due to the lack of advance timing, you will most likely get an eviction notice the day after you receive the notice because you were at work.As far as safety is concern, there have been days where multiple cars have been broken into the same day. Car windows have been broken, things stolen from them, and so forth. Currently, apartments are being broken into. Items placed near your door are also being stolen. When you report this to the office, they really could care less. They will not help you try to find any of the stolen goods by any means at all. This makes their selling points of having cameras, security card, community centers and other stuff useless when they don’t really use those things to their full potential. If you are expecting an apartment building that has any type of customer service, you won’t get it here. They don’t care about you. They do what they want, when they want, and you must comply at their requests. In essence, you start feeling like you are working for this company instead of being a client of it.

Bob Ferguson, the Attorney General and Federal Government must step in and investigate this place to learn where the Feds augmented money is really going as, the federal government augments some of the pay here for lower income individuals and this management is stiffing the residents and federal government left and right by not repairing areas that have been broken and unavailable for many years at the Cambridge Apartments for low-income families.NEEDLES are constantly being found in the stairwells, hallways, and garage of this place. Homeless people are always sleeping in the garages and stairwells and this management does NOTHING AT ALL to ensure its residents are safe other than tell us to make the homeless individual(s) go away ourselves!! Ill bet you that if an infectious NEEDLE were to accidentally poke one of the management members own family members, they would do something about the NEEDLES and homeless people VERY QUICK!Not to long ago, the elevator broke and they left it broken for nearly a month while many elderly and residents in wheel chairs who live here had to struggle to get up and down to the floor their apartment home was located on hence, a TOTALLY RUTHLESS management despite the numerous requests and eventual complaints from the residents to have the elevator repaired. If youre a Tenant Rental Advocate or know someone who is a health or city inspector, or you work for the Housing Authority, please let them know about this place. This management from the Cambridge office staff to the property management personnel above the office staff really needs to be investigated!!The ladies who run this place (as of the date of this posting) are some of the most racist individuals I have ever witnessed. Kelly who went from cleaning lady to office staff overnight is always in a piss poor mood and is always rude. The other lady who sits to Kellys right is just as rude and obnoxious. Its as if they have no compassion for anyone other than someone of their same race/color. If something gives out like a refrigerator or stove in one of the units being rented, she pours it on like a Donald Trump... Shell tell you that the complex is NOT responsible for a failed stove or refrigerator or a water leak and will find and tell you ANY Excuse to place the blame on the resident, PERIOD. On top of those two people with really bad attitudes, the gym has been broken for YEARS. They have locked up many of the balconies and advertise so many amenities that are actually unavailable to use to its own residents.Oh, and if you have a storage unit, youll need to ask them for access to your own storage unit but thats not the bad part. The bad part is receiving a nasty rude attitude for simply asking to gain access to ones OWN items in their storage unit.Ive never in all my years as a student renting a place and now renting until I can save up enough to buy our first home, have I witnessed such manipulation, racism, excuses and flat out lies from a management office in a rental complex. Once again, the Federal Government needs to investigate this place in order to find out what this management personnel is doing with the money because, so many things are unavailable that ALL tenants should have access to but do not either because, the management is definitely not repairing and fixing amenities like the gym and balconies so that the tenants can use them SINCE The Tenants are Paying for them.Make no mistake, this place would be a great place to live but, the management simply doesnt care one bit about its residents. Its VERY Clear that the management does NOT care about the well-being of its tenants and cares ONLY about collecting its monthly $$$$$$, PERIOD!A ZERO Star rating unfortunately wasnt an option.

I concur with the review of Rebeca Anderson. I lived here for close to three years. In the processing of moving out, one of the staff forgot to cash or said held my rental check hoping my deposits would cover what I owed. And for unknown reasons, they reported me to collection bureau. The bureau continued harassing me via phone, and finally reported me to a credit bureau, which ruined my credit. As a result, I have been denied credits, my rates have gone up, even my auto insurance sky-rocketed. I repeatedly reached out to their office, and headquarter and nobody cares about it.

I really had an awful experience with the manager of the building. She is very disrespectful and always unhelpful. She doesnt care about the need of the residents. Even when we pay for it, she doesnt let us receive quality services. If it was possible to give below 1, i would have rated this place zero.

Horrible horrible place. You move in, you pay for everything that needs to be fixed. Light out from last owner, you pay for the light bulb. Leak in bathroom, kitchen, squeak on faucets, and things not working right, they say it normal and no need for apartment to fix; but if you want fix, you have to pay for it. They dont fix nothing. Want money for cheap things that they put inside apartment that go wrong because they were cheap. Then they raise rent every year. Rent pay go up every year, I promise you. They take money, but no fix nothing. Community workout machines, TV, etc. no work correctly. Dangerous to use workout machine because not working right. You tell them, they say, What are you going to do about it? Then they lock community room when it is supposed to be open so no one can use when you pay rent to be able to use it. No move in!
