We moved in 2 weeks ago, and so far we love it! The location is great. The neighborhood is vibrant and just a few blocks away from Capitol Hill. So you get the benefit of it being a bit quieter while still having access to fun eateries and nightlife. The staff is super kind and accommodating (shout out to Kiara, Ming, and Althea). My partner and I moved to Seattle from Nevada, and we reserved out apartment sight unseen. The management team were very communicative throughout the entire process and were very accommodating. The reason I am giving it a 4/5 however, is because when we reserved the apartment, we were told it was a fully renovated unit. Meaning that our unit would look like the updated, modern apartments that are prominently displayed on their website. However, upon the prior tenants moving out, we discovered that our unit was actually an older unit with updated appliances despite the backend listing it otherwise. This is likely due to an error made by the prior management team. Kiara and her team were willing to meet us halfway and had the carpet that was throughout the entire unit removed and replaced with brand new vinyl floors which have made our lives much easier considering it requires much less maintenance to keep clean.I look forward to living here for the foreseeable future!

He was very knowledgeable about to the property and was able to answer all of our questions with ease. They truly made a memorable first impression which ultimately lead to me making Verse Seattle my new home.

Great place. New building. AMAZING GYM!! best part of the place. Neighbors were quiet. Management was good, Mindy always addressed things in a timely manner. Maintenance was also timely with repairs. Plenty of parking and quick access into downtown and cap hill.

Steer clear of this building. I lived on the first floor. It always smelled of fish thanks to the fish market that rents a retail space, and the trash compacter was consistently left open making the hallway smell putrid. The management staff consistently rotates out. They had 3 property managers in the year I lived there. The elevator and first floor lobby was consistently dirty and I would have to email the leasing agent about spills. Also it is impossible to get packages as their office hours are 9-6. I was never home during those hours and would have to wait until Sat, when they dont open until 10. I would love to have the luxury of working those hours. The worst was when it was time for me to move out. It took them several weeks to send me the final charges. I went by the office and the person working was sleep at the desk with a pillow. (I cant make this up). Once I finally received my final charges I saw they charged me for carpet cleaning-I did not have carpet in my unit. I contacted them trying to get access to pay online but I was told to put a check in the mail or drop it off. I mailed a check (within the city of Seattle) that magically never appeared. Instead of contacting me, a resident of this property family for 2 years in 2 cities they sent my account off to collections. There are newer buildings with better staff, package concierge, that dont smell that I would recommend you go live at.

My roommate and I toured a room at Verse and decided to take it. We then filled out the application and paid $200 (an application fee + an internal application fee + a holding fee to guarantee the apartment). They said they had a discount for the fees, but that it would be credited to our first rent payment. A few days later we received a call saying that wed been approved for the apartment, and that theyd send us welcome documents and have us sign the lease a few weeks before move-in. That seemed like a red flag; wed never signed a lease that late, and we felt uncomfortable signing a lease after telling our current landlords we were leaving -- especially since wed never seen the lease. It seemed like a good way for someone to trap you into a bad lease. We both called and emailed Verse asking to sign the lease at least a month before move-in, and they never got back to us. Were now about a week and a half from our supposed move-in date, and they havent contacted us or provided us the lease info. Were lucky that we had a bad feeling about it and decided to wait to notify our current landlords about moving out (they only ask for 20 days notice), even if it meant paying an extra month, because now we can stay another month or so until we find a place. Were out $200, which sucks, but it would be even worse if we had to move out of our current place and had nowhere to go. I recommend avoiding this place; their communication is clearly terrible, and they essentially took our money and didnt care enough to even let us know that we wouldnt have a place to live. Im guessing they accidentally rented the apartment to someone else, even though we paid an extra $150 to guarantee the apartment. As much as that sucks, Im mostly mad that they didnt call us or let us know what was going on. I cant even imagine what we would have done if wed told our landlords we were moving out.Update: They did reach out to me about a week before our move-in date saying that the apartment was still ours and that the 1-2 week lease signing was standard for them. If you want to sign it earlier, you can tell them that when you apply. I updated to 3 stars.

Loved living here. Amazing community, wonderful amenities, and a great spot to find something to eat. Location is super convenient with the distance to downtown Seattle and with beautiful views on the top few floors, this place is a no-brainer. Five stars for verse and its wonderful staff.

I have lived here for 6 months and love it. The gym is great and you really dont need anything else from what is included. The staff is always friendly and curious and a pleasure to interact with. In terms of package pick up the staff is always available during normal hours and if prompted will try to stay longer if needed for a resident to pick up a package. The parking issues within the garage are complicated as there are condos in an attached building and the spots for Verse residents are intermixed within these spaces. I had parking for the first two months but decided to get rid of it and i park on the street which is more then enough room and it is safe. There is a school directly across from the property which also makes living in the area very quiet in comparison to other parts of Seattle. There are a lot of dogs in the building too and an indoor dog park down the street. There is also a park directly across the street for your furry friends to go as well.

When my search for a new home began a few months ago, I mush admit Verse Seattle wasnt on my list of buildings to tour or a building that I really considered moving into, but a building I fell in love with as soon as I toured it for the first time. I left a couple months ago, but I wanted to write about my experience about the staff and how seamless the application process felt.Verse Seattle made all of this possible for us. The helpful staff was one of the main reasons we choose this place. From the first time we visited, it truly seemed they cared about finding us a home that would work best for us--a home where we felt comfortable in.They were very attentive to our needs and concerns, making us feel welcomed and warm. The whole application process felt so easy and seamless, which I really appreciated. One of the most helpful employees was Austin Charaba! He told me about all the nearby hotspots and things to visit in the Seattle area! Thanks Austin! The building speaks for itself, the view are incredible and breathtaking to say the least--some of the best views in the city I would argue. Upon touring the building we fell in love with the rooftop, which offered an unparalleled view of Seattle!Again, thank you to Verse Seattle for everything!

My roommates and Is apartment (B205) flooded at the end of June 2018 when a pipe burst on the 5th floor, and the flooding made its way down to our unit on the 2nd floor. Water pouring from the light fixtures at 6:45 a.m., alarms ringing, a firefighter at my door telling me to grab things that matter and get out.. and the management and staff at Verse Seattle did nothing to help us figure out what to do going forward. They did however inform us that rent would not be abated if our stuff was still in the apartment (even though it was unlivable and would need multiple weeks of drying, tearing out drywall, etc). We were told to deal with our insurance. End of discussion. No help. Not even an Im sorry, my hands are tied.So over the course of 3 days my roommates and I packed up everything and got it all in storage while we dealt with insurance.Verse Seattle seemed relatively pretty on the outside at first, but it was what was on the inside that really showed us why we never really felt at home there. There were all sorts of small things that never got dealt with over the course of our 7 months there. Its unfortunate that you can become homeless over the course of the weekend and not have anyone acknowledge how horrible and stressful it is or offer an apology or some kind of assistance. So if youre looking for a great place to live. This isnt it. Go somewhere else and find a building with owners and staff that actually care about anything other than their bottom line.

Leasing staff and property manager are responsive to requests and questions. Service with a smile is not lacking here! :) Apartment was clean and move-in ready when I arrived. My only wish is that the parking stalls were not so tight but thats not in control of the leasing staff. Thanks for a great living experience! Im moving back home to CA but Verse was a nice home for me during my time in Seattle. Cheers!
