I’ve lived here with my dog *Sasha* since March and I’m almost positive this is where we will stay until our time in the city is finished. I’ve lived in Seattle for 6 years, three buildings including this one and I am beyond happy with my experience so far. Tika is such a pleasure to talk with, she’s on top of everything, she’s friendly, accommodating, and she makes the entire living situation just that much better. Management in general is just beyond great. I feel safe as there are many precautions to entering the building and reaching each floor. The pet area remains clean and is very convenient, the rooftop is always clean and the amenities are so nice. We love the pet spa as Sasha loves to swim across the street where Sculpture and Elliot Bay are conveniently located. Safeway is only a few blocks away, nightlife across the street and within a few block radius. I’ve become such a home body because this apartment is very cozy. My favorite touches to the experience of living here are the package lockers, coffee bar, the gym and importantly, there is night security- these are all excellent bonuses. The neighborhood is quiet and nice to walk Sasha around, even with my late night schedule. I moved into a unit that appeared unlived in because it was spotless. I’ve had some pretty nightmare management and cleanliness issues in my last two buildings, so this literally is just a huge upgrade from what I thought was “normal” for Seattle. My only complaint is ConService- a third party water, sewage, garbage company that calculates individual unit bills- this means, whether or not you’re in or out of town, you will be paying for a % of the entire buildings usage every month. I’m a very organized budget type of person and this is just not what I would prefer to do, but it’s been pretty fair so far. There is zero reason to ever leave here (unless I’m buying a house, haha), so A+ to all of it.

These apartments are absolutely gorgeous! The rooftop views are amazing! Damian (the leasing manager) was so friendly and knowledgeable! We came here for a tour and was blown away! Their game room is awesome!

Ive lived here for a few months now. No issues with the apartment. The staff is nice and welcoming. I like how its a smaller complex making the inhabitants more personable when seeing each other around. It is pet friendly so theres dogs around. The parking is nice and accessible. The view at the top is great and the fireplace/grill are nice amenities.

I’ve been a resident at second and John for the last three months and I’ve had nothing but great experiences. The view from the balcony is stunning the amenities are great. This is a great value for the price you pay and the location is perfect for inner city living. Wait until you see the rooftop!

I would give zero rating if possible. We lived in the apartment for a year. When we vacated we cleaned the apartment for 2 hrs. The apartment still took all the security money and gave extra bill of $800 for normal wear and tear like paint and stove top which are meant to be used. They are charging us to buy new appliances for new tenants which doesn’t make any sense!The management turned pretty unfair and rude when we told them that we are ending our lease. They didn’t let us book elevator for our move which was pretty inconvenient. Please avoid this apartment.

I highly recommend this community! The location is convenient to walk to local restaurants and bars. The apartments themselves have great views and I love the layouts! The management staff has been terrific! Thank you!

I do not live here but the tour I was given was great! The property itself is amazing, great views of the sound and of downtown Seattle. The fitness center is huge with up to date machines and a great staff! Everyone introduced themselves to me and the leasing agent wasnt pushy. I look forward to moving in later this year

The location alone had my interest--its gorgeous and in a walkable part of the city. What more could you want? A rooftop deck? They have that too! Communicating with Angelica was a pleasure. She took the extra care and time to answer my questions and address my concerns. Two thumbs up!

I usually not a fan of rental companies but this one really changed my mind. The staff answered all my questions, no matter how silly (Thanks Angelica!). The views are great and the amenities make this place feel like home.

I’ve been looking around for an apartment in the area. Marina and the team are fantastic! You can tell they genuinely care. This property is very conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants and public transportation. If you’re looking to move this is an amazing place to call home. Marina and the team at 2nd and John are the best in the business! They are professional, attentive and focused on making sure the tenants are happy. The amenities are everything you look for in luxury living with water views, top notch gym facilities and game room, and amazing roof top deck. Highly recommend you go check it out for yourself!!

As a potential renter, I am extremely impressed by this property and the team managing it. The very first thing I noticed during my visit was how cordial and professional the leasing team is. They were flexible, respectful, provided information in detail, yet with transparency with great attention to all my questions. They truly value their potential renters. I would lease an apartment here just because how nice the team is!The property by itself is happily situated, with promoximity to all everyday life essentials and the amazing water view is so totally worth a special mention. The gym is by far the best I have seen in any apartment complex that I have lived in or shopped for.Overall, the building is truly state of the art, with other perks such as a game room, great interiors, tasteful decor, among many other things. The floor plans are well laid, with a modern appeal and generous spaces.I have fallen in love with 2nd and John and it’s amazing staff! Kudos to your efforts!

I applied online and when I filed the application the leasing office stated that the $22 application fee was non refundable but didnt state that if I ended up changing my mind the security deposit of $300 would also be gone. Sure the contract says that but it is also in a very deceptive manner. Every other apartment Ive applied for charged a application fee but didnt ask for the security deposit until after signing the lease. Avoid this place at all costs.
