Started out 5 star but unfortunately as time went on service waned. Mainly due to poor communication from the office staff to their field techs and to us. In one instance we made it clear via phone conversations and emails that we would handle the filter cartridge cleaning on our pool pump and 3 months later we were charged for the cleaning (I had just cleaned the filters about 3 weeks prior to the invoice being sent out). When we called and inquired as to why this happened we were told that was an administrative mistake and the filter hadnt been cleaned per our instructions. When we asked why were we charged the $100 there wasnt a real reason given besides an oops, sorry If i hadnt randomly checked the invoice we wouldve paid $100 for nothing. Which brings me to the reason we cancelled service with them. They serviced our mothers pool and her hot tub as well. Family members staying at my mothers house called and said the hot tub was nasty. When I went to check on the hot tub it was dirty and had a line of scum around the entire unit. I called and spoke to their lead pool tech and said that I would like the hot tub cleaned, ran then drained. I told him I had a submersible pump and could empty it myself but I felt it needed to be cleaned before being taken out of service, especially since we were paying a monthly fee for said service. He agreed. About 10 days later we saw a $100 invoice for Spa draining & Start Up Chemicals I went and looked at the hot tub and it had simply been drained and left filthy. I left a message with them for the lead tech to call me and when he did, he basically denied the conversation I had with him 10 days prior. I told him I couldve drained the tub myself and not cleaned it and saved $100. He recommended I reach out to a spa cleaning company. (I thought thats who I was talking to) I asked about the start up chemicals on the invoice. His reply administrative mistakeWeve moved on to another company that came highly recommended. They came out to check the status of the pools that are going to be serviced and the chlorine levels in our pool were through the roof. Moores had us drain our pool about 1 year ago and start with fresh water (hefty expense to do that) and in less than a year our chemicals are out of whack again? My moms chemicals were fine but her pool vac was broken and didnt move when the pump kicked on. Just sat on the bottom grinding its gears.Glad we switched.

We are new first time home owners and therefore, have our first pool. We moved in and the previous pool service had roots growing in the equipment and it wasnt functioning right, and the pool was pretty filthy. Bill Moore of Moores Pool Service gave us a great quote to fix it. He drained our pool and worked some magic and now the pool has never looked cleaner with shiny white walls. I now feel comfortable having my kid swim in it this summer and will be using him for monthly service. We are really happy with our results.
