When I moved to Austin and had to change my vet, Willow Pet Hospital had recently opened. After a lot of thinking and hearing from friends and coworkers who started going to Willow, the choice was easy. Since then Ive had reliable service. The employees are all incredibly kind and helpful during even the hardest moments. They are willing to answer any questions Ive had, even over the phone. I cant imagine going to another vet.

My experience was wonderful! WILLOW PET HOSPITAL was the only clinic out of 5 or more that took my dog when I felt he was in dire need of medical attention. I am forever grateful!

Willow Pet Hospital is an amazing place to go for care for your pets! Everyone there is so nice and will take the time to explain what is going on. I made the mistake and came to an appointment on the wrong day and they took the time to see if they could fit me in since I was there! I wouldn’t trust my pets care with any other pet hospital. Starting taking my 10 year old Great Pyrenees to Willow first of this week. They called me with updates and recommendations to further treat him. Called me a day later to check on his condition. I did not get or ever received this type of service from the other guys in 4 1/2 years they had been seeing him. I highly recommend Willow if you love your pets. Nice folks and very professional.

I have read some other reviews, echoing what Im about to complain about.Im sure that the veterinary doctors themselves are fine, and the vet assistant I spoke with was very kind, but this poor review is based off of the front office staff, that made my fiancé and I feel cash cows, rather than clients.The very first person I ever tried to set an appointment with, during our phone call told me that I could go ahead and set an appointment today or try and call back at midnight when my cat is inevitably worse.Apparently the doctors are the only people who are qualified to write up an estimate?Both times we needed an estimate we had to wait over a day for one specific person to come into work. Which has never been the case at our preferred vet. We always leave with estimates for future work in hand, and everyone on staff is qualified to write one up.I understand with somethings, estimate speed is not a huge deal, but we were trying to figure out if my old Kitty had cancer or not, and it turns out she does.This place gave us a lot of attitude and ended up quoting us quite a large bill just to diagnose her, not even to treat her.When I asked why a dental cleaning was listed on the estimate, when she had just had this very same thing done less than 5 months before. I was told it was in an effort to give me the best price, which, in all fairness, did make since when she explained what all came in the bundle.BUT she very coldly followed that up with if I wanted the dental cleaning removed from the estimate it would probably make everything more expensive and a very sassy side remark of well you arent just going to get all of this work for half off if thats what your afterWhich we werent after?We were just trying to ask some clarifying questions and figure out why my 17 year old cat would have to go through the trouble of getting their teeth cleaned, again, on top of already having an oral form of cancer that causes her pain.But karma is kind sometimes, because our preferred vet in Rochester ended up giving us a lab diagnosis, and proof of cancer in less than 30 minutes, and less than a third of the cost that they were quoting us here at Willow.We got to skip over being broke, on top of  receiving devastating news.And after talking to about 3 different front desk employees in total, and being covertly talked down to by all 3 of them... we decided we know longer trusted that this place had our pets best interest in mind, and ended up switching back to our preferred vet.I understand a lot of these issues could be caused by under staffing at a small town vet that has too many clients, but personally I dont care, I dont trust them, and I wont be returning.

Best place and best employees!!! Having never been here before and needing emergency help on a Friday morning they were the ONLY place in 40 miles who offered to see my injured dog. They saw us same day, and were very reasonably priced. Would recommend again and again!

Willow Pet is an amazing vet clinic! We have gone to Dr. Mike & Sara Sassee since they opened their doors and have been nothing but caring and compassionate! Sara had to help us put our dog down a while ago and you can see the compassion during the process. You can tell she cared about our Tyson.Shes patient! Our new pup is a psycho with people and she did great with him!I highly recommend Willow Pet for anything! And if they are unable to help you, they will direct you into the right way!

All staff was very considerate and kind.Very receptive to my questions an concerns also. Veterinarian was very thorough and caring for my cats needs. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Took my 6 week old Pitbull puppy On June 3rd and spent close to $400 and today I found him dead. All they said was well we told you he had a 50/50 chance... instead of sending us home with all these instructions and admistering IV in him for fluids and not to mention hope. Bunch of crooks. Will never recommend them and send my dogs there anymore.

My dog had a really bad cough and they refused to see him without getting. All vet records first and left him really Ill when they were only vets with open appoint around

The staff was very nice and informative. The wait time was short, they got my puppy in pretty quickly. And the price for the visit was very affordable. I can’t think of anything that would have made it better. I would definitely recommend Willow Pet Hospital.

Instant love. Im not from Austin but Had a very sick dog when I had the opportunity to meet the staff and dr mike . Not only did they fit me in the same day but allowed me to arrive early and squeezed me in. Took immediate action checking me in and diagnosing my poor babies ailment. I was informed every step of the way what the expense would be and told up front if the choice available was the best for my money and his health. Super sweet and caring staff. Would absolutely recommend to anyone many times over.

Everything was perfect! The check in call the next day was very sweet and caring. Even though it’s distance appts, I felt like I got the same attention as in person appts. The vet tech that came out to tall to me was AMAZING!!! She was beyond helpful and super sweet. Thank you for helping relax this crazy anxious cat momma!

What a racket! Clearly, I am in the wrong line of work.420 dollars to treat my cat. Gave him iv fluids and steroids. At the end of it all, all we got was he got better. NO diagnosis, so we have no idea what actually caused the issue.The woman I spoke with on the phone for paying the bill was extremely rude, as well.The Vet and the assistants were nice people though.What kind of a vet doesnt supply a diagnosis?If you need an emergency veterinarian for your animal, i feel your pain, but at all costs avoid this place.

The whole team at Willow Pet Hospital are amazing. I have 2 cats and a dog. Everyone is so nice and genuine. My dogs leg was bleeding and they got her in within the hour. My cat today was sick and they made room last minute for him. They do dental work as well.

Staff is SO kind and caring! They were able to diagnose my cat within 30 minutes whereas my last vet hadnt even diagnosed her condition in the years we spent with them. Prices are fair and they are willing to do payment plans if needed. I am so happy we switched to Willow!

Ive been to every vet hospital in Austin and Willow Pet Hospital is definitely unique and stands apart.They treat my pets like family, not like animals. They are compassionate and kind. They really take the time to listen and answer questions and get to know my animals. My dog being treated like a dog is okay at other clinics, but after switching to Willow I just feel like...WOW...they really care about my pets, just like I do, I would never want to go back to our animals being treated like they arent important to us.They are also affordable. We recently took a stray cat to them, and we didnt break the bank to make sure kitty was healthy. Weve done that at other vet clinic and spent more money at other places.We took my dog in to be fixed last year, and he had a skin infection that we were totally unaware of. Im so grateful they did a full check up to make sure he was healthy so that we could fix the skin infection before it got out of hand. They could have just done what they were hired to do, fixed him, and moved on, but they went the extra mile.I will never go to any other vet clinic as long as they are in business. 10/10 would recommend.

We started using Willow Pet Hospital when our older cat was having difficulties; and the staff was wonderful and full of compassion when our beloved cat passed away. We got phone calls, emails and even a sympathy card, signed by the entire staff. We have a new kitten now, and we are again so happy with Willow’s approach to providing the best care to our kitten. The office is always super clean, the staff is very friendly, and the doctors are so knowledgeable, gentle, and kind. We are happy we made the switch to Willow!

We have been taking our dogs to Willow for a little over a year now. I took my dog in for what I thought was a eye problem, little did I know it was much more than that. Our dog was diagnosed with a auto immune disorder and thanks to Willow that did not go undetected. Not only have they provided Buddy with excellent health care, they have provided us with excellent customer service and support. They always take the time to make sure we understand exactly what is going on, and what our options are. They have also always been available to answer questions and give advice. Willow’s office staff is just as amazing, they treat our dogs as if they were their own. Buddy is always excited to go to his check ups because he knows the girls spoil him with treats and affection. I am so thankful we have found Willow Pet Hospital, I highly recommend taking your pets there.

Willows pet has ALWAYS been my go to vet since having my pet Nikah . They have amazing staff who are amazing on giving each pet the same amount of love and attention 💛I absolutely LOVED as much as Nikah did how they distracted her with can food goodies to get her mind off the fact that she was getting vaccines .The team’s always super informative!As long as my pet continues to feel welcomed and safe Willows pet is the place to be !

Dr. Mike and his staff were outstanding! My husband and I had to put our black lab Harlie down. They were so compassionate and so helpful throughout the entire process. They provided a room that was quiet, clean and even played some beautiful music while our girl drifted off to sleep. I cant say enough good things about Willow Pet Hospital! It was really convenient to set up my appointment online, they sent a confirmation so I wasnt wondering, every staff member I encountered was super-friendly and they even called me the next day with the lab results for my pup. My human doctor doesnt even do that! If you are near the Austin area, you MUST take your pet there!

We have four border collies and recently switched vets. Willow is far superior to our previous vet.

I’m happy with the care we get, and everyone is patient and kind.

I love this clinic. Ive only been there once so far by Dr. Sara was great. Even though they were running a little behind she spend the time to listen to my concerns. The best part is I have a dog that is very reactive to other dog and animals. Both Dr. Sara and the rest of the staff understood this and help direct traffic do we didnt have a lot of interaction with other pet. I was very impressed and will keep going there.

I love this place, and so does my dog. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They even remember my dogs name even though we dont go there all that often. Taking your baby dog to the vet is not fun but I am never worried because they treat him excellent here so I have peace of mind.

Willow always goes above and beyond. We have taken our pups to other vets in town that dont seem to be as attentive and we so appreciate the opportunity to be able to go to a vet that is as caring, patient, and understanding of our companion animals. Couldnt say enough nice things about the work that they do.

We have been so happy with the care we have received for our dog Sophie. Everyone in the office is very friendly and genuinely concerned with the health of dog who has had some challenging issues lately.

Sometimes life deals you a pretty crappy hand. Our cat needed surgery and while he was at Willow we received word that my mom was on her death bed with hours to days left to live. We called Willow and Dr. Mike and Dr. Sarah were beyond understanding and compassionate. They were so flexible. They watched our cat an extra day to allow us to be with my family during a very hard time and arranged for a special Saturday pick up when they would otherwise not be working. They went above and beyond anything we ever expected. Their care and compassion for both animals and humans is second to none. In addition to the doctors, every one of Willows staff shares that same love of animals and helping others. They all do great work and are great people. Highly recommend them!

Very friendly staff who love all animals! They take very good care of my fur kids when we need to be there.

There are not enough words to express how much I love this place! Both Dr. Mike & Dr. Sara are AMAZING with all of my animals as well as in the hard situation where my sister had to put her dog down recently. They have all the new up to date techniques an equipment. Some people may think that they expensive but I believe the amount and quality of care given to the animals is FAR above the price.

They are more worried about the money than the animals they treat. I will never bring an animal here.

My dog was hit by a car so I rushed him here as fast as I could, but he died before I got there . They were the only vet hospital open until 7pm. When I arrived, they checked him over and took him. They were incredibly kind and compassionate. They also provided me with cremation for my pup. A huge thanks goes to Stephanie for making a very difficult time as smooth as could be.

I cant thank Willow Pet Hospital enough for the care they are currently giving my cat, Benny. Willow staff showed compassion and concern from the moment I called and were able to get Benny in within the hour despite not having any openings. Although we are still unsure of Bennys health problem, I have full confidence that Dr. Mike and staff will do what they can to help my little guy.

Took my cat there within the last year. She hadnt been eating or drinking due to an impacted (and broken) tooth. Gave her a week post surgery before comming back to do more tests. Told me my cat was dying (liver failure). Will NEVER go here again (my cats name is SADIE)
