We hired Aquaman Pools to convert our swimming pool to use saltwater. But we wanted them to drain our pool and clean the tile first. When they cleaned the tile, they used glass bead blasting and never cleaned all of it up on the bottom before we refilled the pool. We asked them to come back out to fix the parts that weren’t thoroughly cleaned and they came back and poured a solution onto the tile that ruined the Pebble Tec.Thomas, the Operations Manager, kept telling my husband he’d be out to come take a look (each time we waited around for a few hours). I finally called him the morning after the second time he stood us up with no notice and he completely lied about his conversation with my husband and was nothing but condescending towards me. Then, when my husband called him back and asked who was his boss, Thomas essentially said he was in charge and hung up on him. We sent emails to their office administrator telling her we didn’t Thomas to contact us anymore and she said she’d immediately have the owner, Chad, call us. He never even called! Thomas had the audacity to call us back to ask if we wanted to continue service!Aquaman Pools is rude towards women, they are incompetent, don’t take responsibility and have no respect for their customers. We have thousands of dollars in repairs that need to be done and when we do, we’ll also have to drain and refill the pool AGAIN which is already time consuming, a pain and costly.

I switched services to Aquaman a couple months ago. What a fantastic and refreshing difference! My pool is always clean and chemicals updated. The people are always professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. And a live person answers the phone!!!I had an emergency right before a weekend. They showed up right away - assessed the situation, and had it repaired the second business day!Kirsten was especially helpful and empathetic - and helped to calm my nerves, as the repair made the pool not able to run, and I had already emptied the pool, acid washed, and refilled after the previous pool company let the pool go green two months in a row. I was extremely nervous that time and money would be spent for that again. No, Kirsten spoke with me, acknowledged it would be taken care of, promptly, and it was. By professionals who knew exactly what to do.This is the company to use!

I have been using a less expensive service for years. It was less expensive but over time my pool began to look like I was not taking care of it. Efficient and personable pump and filter replacement for our pond. Jeffery did a great job with the work in a timely manner and efficiently solved a modest leak from a backwash valve. Aquaman recently completed a mechanical remodeling of all my pool equipment including valves, pumps, heater, lights, and added automation. Project was completed on time and functions as advertised. The work was performed in a professional manner and the employees were top notch with good communication throughout the project. Since I was changing all the equipment I thought it wise to turn over the weekly maintenance to Aquaman. The service has been very good and I receive an email as soon as the service is complete detailing what was done along with the water chemistry and pictures.I would definitely recommend Aquaman for any pool services

For 10 years I took care of my pool. Brushing, filter cleaning, chemicals, etc ect. Keeping out the algae during the summer months was always a pain point and if I slacked for a second I was dumping hundreds of dollars of chemicals in the pool to get it back to normal. Great service. I had a leak at the pump and couldnt get my weekly service guy to address the problem or find the leak. Also had rats eat up the heater wiring. Jeff P. was great, backoffice communication was quick to schedule and service was complete same week no issues.

Scott is the name of the technician they sent out, and he did a thorough inspection of the pool to determine exactly what the problem with the filter/cleaning system was. I scheduled the follow up for the fix while he was still here because of the great initial service.

Buyer Beware: 352% markup for parts + $95 diagnostic fees + $95 service fees + undisclosed fuel surcharges ($6-8 per trip). When speaking with Chad, the companys president, he insisted that a 350% parts markup was appropriate and necessary for them to run their business. The sales person, similar to other reviews, spent half of his selling time badmouthing the equipment I had and the choices other companies would make if I went with them. They did show up for weekly service on time, so give them credit for that.

Thanks to the good work of Scott, Ruben, Josh, and Bruce, my pool in great condition now. The repairs and service were done with excellence - and I feel fortunate that I called on Aquaman to care for my pool and spa. As a newcomer to Phoenix, I wasnt sure how to go about finding a pool service company, so I relied on the great reviews for Aquaman Pools. From the beginning, this company has been outstanding. Scott signed us up and arranged to install a new heater, which I had requested. The installer did an excellent job. Then Kyle, Service Manager (hope I have the names right!) cleaned our pool the first time and talked me through the various options. Since then, our weekly cleaning has been performed by Derek. Derek is terrific, thoughtful and thorough. I felt bad today as the pool was full of leaves and debris after the storms of this past week. I try to keep up with the leaves in between Aquaman weekly visits, but this past week I didnt touch it and the pool was a real mess.Derek cheerfully cleaned the pool and leaf traps and quickly caught everything up. Great guy!Aquamans follow up communication, via email, are always helpful. Office staff have also been professional. Appreciate everyone at Aquaman!

Amber made the whole process of signing up for service easy. She was quick, professional and flexible to our needs regarding scheduling.

Scott took about 30 minutes to evaluate some electrical issues with the lights, pumps and heater. He was able to make some adjustments and get everything working properly. Will definitely call Aquaman Pools again when I need work done.

We are new to the valley, and moved into a new build and built a new pool. We have had pools in the Midwest but owning a pool in the desert is quite a bit different. Last week when Gene Hyatt came to empty the pool and acid wash the pool, he quickly found out the issue of stained pool surface and worked hard to remove the stains(probably these stains were the result of a high chlorine). Not only did he make the pool surface look clean and sparkle, he also diagnosed the issue with pool light and GFI switch. Although he was busy with other jobs, he got back with a quote and was on time to fix the light and wiring. Im really impressed with the way the pool looks now and I want to express a sincere Thank you to Gene Hyatt for the service he did for the pool. At the end we want a clean and good swimming pool for the summer season and Gene worked hard for the job to make it.

We have always had assigned technicians and they have all been great, but would like to say our current technician, Gavin, saved us quite a bit of money today by going above and beyond his job in locating a leak for us. He is always so pleasant, does everything to keep our pool healthy and great. Im a new customer, new to Arizona, with an old pool, and no experience with AZ pool upkeep. Aquaman drained, cleaned & refilled my pool this week. They also replaced my pump, the pool light, and raised the equipment, among other things. Scott suggested the repairs, Ruben did the work, and they got it scheduled & completed within two weeks. Ruben was extremely communicative. He would let me know when he was coming, what he would do that day, and when he was leaving. He also got me up to speed on AZ pool upkeep. My pool, still old, but looking great. Im happy with everything. Hired them for ongoing maintenance, and will hire them to resurface the pool when the time is right. A+ job guys!

I used this aquapools to install a new pool pump and plumbing. I was not impressed with their service initially but once I raised concerns about the quality and follow up from the initial encounter, they we’re responsive to my concerns.

They have the best customer service. we have had the best experience, from installing a new filter, regular maintenance and cleaning to helpful tips we feel like they are always out to make us happy instead of trying to sell. Just an update after using Aquaman Pools for six months. We continue to believe this is an excellent company for its service and billing practices. We used a small service provider for about three years and had spotty service. Since switching to Aquaman, our pool water has never looked better and the equipment is performing well.It has only been a few weeks since we switched to Aquaman but am very happy with the improvement in pool water quality!!

Showed up a bit early, i thought he was casing my house. He came and introduced himself, represented his business well. Explained really well what he would be doing with our pool. And even said the past services! he did research. I let him alone.After that we have had no pool problems.We have a complicated system that is prone to calcuim build up but that has not been an issue since.
