We had a fabulous time!! Really enjoyed the whole experience. I wouldnt recommend this if you arent in halfway decent shape. Youre on your own for the bike ride part of the tour, so pay attention to the directions. 😂The Muir Woods part of the tour was AWESOME, and the bus driver was great!!

I loved the tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We took the Muir woods and Alcatraz tour. We saw some neighborhoods in San Francisco, then we went to Muir woods. After Muir woods we ventured to Sausalito to have lunch. Our tour guide gave us plenty of options and time to explore. We went across the golden gate bridge twice as well. And for the better part of the afternoon we went to Alcatraz. If you just have one day to explore the city, this is a great way to do so.

We did the city tour with Muir Woods and lunch in Sausalito. We had 5 people in our group and this day surpassed all of our expectations! Our tour guide, Jake, was entertaining and informative. We did this tour on our first full day in the city, which I would highly recommend. This gave us a good overview of the area and we received lots of great tips from our guide. I would absolutely recommend Dylan’s tours to anyone visiting San Francisco.

Fantastic Tour! We did the 4-hour electric bike tour of the city and had a wonderful time. We saw sites that we would have never had the opportunity to experience. I chose the tour that included biking across the bridge and a shuttle ride to Muir Woods, and I could not have been happier with my experience! Picking up my bike in downtown SF was a breeze, and the ride was pleasant. I went with a non-electric bike, and the 2 uphill sections of the ride were a bit strenuous but easy to walk if you need to. I had enough time in Saulsalito to ride down the main street and eat a nice lunch by the bay. Sean, our guide on the shuttle portion, was very knowledgable and helpful. I walked to the end of the main trail and back in Muir Woods, and the ride back to SF was smooth. We even got to stop for a bonus view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts! My main concern in booking the tour was that I would feel rushed, and while I didnt necessarily have time to dawdle, I definitely felt like I got to see everything I wanted to before moving on to the next stop. I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting SF!

My kids and I completely enjoyed our 1/2 day tour of San Francisco ending beautifully in Sausalito. I researched area tours but decided to go with Dylan’s tours because I wanted a smaller group setting on a smaller bus. I’m not a fan of paying tons of money to deal with lots of people with other companies. Dylan’s was just what I was looking for, the bus was spacious, the group was small, we had access to water and snacks during the trip as well as a few restroom breaks. Our tour guide Rolando treated us like family and gave us all the interesting details & information. We ended our day in Sausalito, spent the afternoon shopping in small boutiques and then caught a car back to the city. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED & ENJOYABLE TOUR ❤️ Thanks for the amazing service!

We did the one day in the bay tour with an Alcatraz visit. Wow! What an incredible day! Rolando, our tour guide, was a very entertaining and delightful San Francisco local.Rolando recommended the best Burrito in San Francisco. We took his advice that evening - and - it was the BEST Burrito we’ve had.Muir Woods was incredible. The bus tour and history of 1960’s musicians was top notch. I highly recommend this tour as a MUST for everyone!

Dave was such an excellent tour guide! We had a smaller group and it made it so much more intimate. I loved learning about the city and its history and its ins and outs. If you have the time I highly recommend the 6 hour city tour! Dave even recommended restaurants for lunch and lots of other time its for later exploration.

Rented Rad Runner ebikes and had a blast cruising around San Francisco. Over 6 hours we rode 21 miles with hills and still had more then 70% battery left. Note we did not do the tour just rented ebikes.

A good location down by The wharf easy to find the bikes were in great shape instructions and maps priced reasonably.

Our guide, Pateick, was knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging. Our 7 hour tour featured many photo ops in San Francisco as well as great stops in Sausalito and Muir Woods. Patrick entertained us with great music, informative stories and lots of chocolate! Do yourself a favor and take this tour!

Loved Muir Woods, lunch in Sausalito and Alcatraz but it was a tad too much driving through so many neighborhoods. Would have preferred more stops at iconic spots.

Perfect tour to show us around our first time to SF. Opted to get a rental car later in our stay, so this was a perfect combo to show us around to all the special places! Our guide, Sean/Shawn was great and provided us with insider info, including showing us where the Record Plant was located. I didnt know about this place and it wasnt part of the tour. But turned out to be one of my favorite parts! We have added some of the songs recorded there to our Spotify lists! Def take the tour! You will LOVE the first stop lol

Aaron showed us the sights of San Francisco and it was hands down the highlight of our vacation. He took us everywhere. We got to exit the bus when needed, we never felt rushed. He provided water and a snack. We had lunch in Saucelito, then continued onto Muir Woods. Highly highly recommended.

Dylans famous tour is one that I would highly recommend. Our tour guide was Charles and he was very welcoming towards everyone on the bus. The tight knit group is made up of about 12 people and it takes you everywhere around San Francisco. If you enjoy the outdoors and city, then this is the tour for you.

My 9yr old and I wanted to explore San Fran and this was a great way to do so. We had such a blast. Pick up was quick and easy! We had a wonderful lunch in Sausalito and the best part was the 1hr plus visit to the Muir Woods. We would do it again for sure! Our driver/tour guide was amazing as well.

Our electric bike tour with Dylans tours was the BEST part of our SF vacation! I highly recommend it. Our tour guide was wonderful, and we got to see a lot of the city in 6 hours. My first trip to SFO was a solo trip. I took advantage of Dylans Tours as an easy means to get out to Muir Woods. I got that and so much more. Our group was small and comfortable, our guide crazy knowledgeable, and it truly provided a perfect overview of the city and surrounding areas. Not only was my time in Muir Woods incredible, but the stopover in Sausalito has possessed me to plan a special trip there later on. And the thoroughness of our tour of the SFO neighborhoods and highlights helped me plan the remainder of my time in the city, plus hit a number of the things that were already on my to-see wishlist. I highly recommend this, especially for a solo traveller and especially if its your first time in the city!

What an amazing Tour we had as a family. We were in one of the new TukTuk’s that Dylan recently purchased. In 3 hours we saw tons of the city and even kept 3 boys under the age of 12 interested the whole time. We used Dylans tours late last year when visiting San Fransisco and we absolutely LOVE everything about it! The tour was amazing, as was the tour guide, and it was a great way to see the city. We were only in town for 48 hours and were very happy that we spent 5 of them with Dylans tours! Next time we visit, we are totally doing the bike the bridge tour!

Probably the best and the most effortless way of experiencing San Francisco is renting an e-bike and the best place to have it is Dylans. We joined a tour: It was great to see the city on the bikes while our guide Aaron gave us great advices and interesting info about different parts of the city. We decided to rent bikes from Dylans to see the rest of the city by ourselves the next day. The bikes are reliable, fast and comfortabke and Dylans staff is always there to help you even if you encounter any issues.

Dylan agreed to take us on a tour at the last minute when our tour with the love bus cancelled. He was on time, very knowledgeable, professional and entertaining throughout the tour. Its our first time in San Francisco, and we learned so much! Thanks for sharing your beautiful city!

We took the Dylan’s Famous Tour with Muir Woods in early March and were very happy with it. Our tour bus driver was named Sully and he was terrific. He was a well traveled man and very knowledgeable about San Francisco and gave us a lot of information on the city. I cant say enough good things about Sully. We stopped at a lot of iconic spots around the city for photo ops and our stop in Muir Woods was awesome. It has a very magical feel to it as you walk among the redwoods. I really enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend it.

ABOVE AND BEYOND!I can not recommend these guys enough. I had contacted them by email ahead of my mothers tour with them, and they provided prompt responses. However, unexpectedly my mother was running late as she was coming from the Airport. They did earlier stretch how important departing on time for the business was and if I were running late and notified them I could be eligible for a refund. But I really wanted mum to do this tour, one of them called me up when I informed she is running late and they asked me to let then know when she is near the pick up spot and they can (go out of their way) pick her up in their personal vehicle to ensure she can join the rest of the tour (so dropped her off wherever the tour was). I found this such a great act, plus a good balance ensuring everyone has a good experience including those who arrived on time and wanted the most out of their tour. So anyone reading this, please dont get late expecting the same service as it wont help this amazing business, but I am only emphasising how this business is simply more than just dollars, it is about ensuring everyone has a great experience without compromise to others.

The tour was very interesting and informative. It lasted all day but was never boring. Time flew by. Patrick, our tour guide, was entertaining and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend Dylan’s for an all-encompassing tour of San Francisco. Our tour also included a stop at Muir Woods which was well worth it. No need to get a parking permit and then drive there. It was very convenient and the pick up location was near our hotel.

This was a great tour to hit the highlights of San Francisco and Sausalito in one day, plus fit in Muir Woods. While we would have liked to have a little more time at Muir Woods, it was a full day and we were satisfied that we’d seen and experienced plenty in that short time. Dylans Tour Group was an awesome tour group to use in San Francisco. Rolando was our driver and he did a great job, Very nice, informative, and a safe driver. He showed up early and started gathering up all the people that was going to be in his group. I would highly recommend Dylans Tours to anyone wanting to see San Fran, Sausalito and Muir Woods.

We did the Bike the Bridge/ Muir Woods combo. This was a great activity and I highly recommend it for adults or families with older kids (teens). Bikes were comfortable and the route beautiful and fun. The Dylans staff were friendly and explained the route, bike drop and meeting place for the afternoon shuttle clearly before starting and everything was easy to find. Only two hills - the steep sections are not long and worth it for the amazing views of the bridge, bay and downtown SF. We left at 0915, made lots of stops for views and photos on the way, pedaled at a moderate to slow pace and were still in Sausalito by about 11. The Dylans guide picked us up exactly on time in Sausalito and the shuttle trips to Muir and later back to San Fran were great. The driver pointed out a lot of great sites and information along the way. Muir was beautiful - we had about an hour and 20 minutes there and that was plenty. All in all an easy, hassle free way to do and see a lot in a day.

On our first trip to San Francisco in July, we had the good fortune to happen into a Dylans Tour. Our guide, Aaron, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We flew from NY to SF to get married in August and knew that we had to do a city tour with our guests. My now husband and I worked closely with Coleman to create the perfect tour for our party of 14. The private tour bus was immaculate; it was clean, new, and comfortable. We could not ask for better accommodations. To keep it short and sweet, the tour was amazing from beginning to end. We had such a great time on our tour. Originally we were scheduled with SF Excursions, but they moved us to Dylans. Adam was our tour guide/driver and he was fantastic! We saw so much of the city and he had just the right amount of conversation/information vs music time. The tour moves at a quick pace and we did wish we had more time at a few spots, but we are excited to visit the city again now that we know more!

Our group of 8 had very limited time in SF so we booked a full day private tour and were not disappointed. The driver was knowledgeable, knew his way around the City very well and kept us moving along. We changed our pickup destination very times (with no problem) and had many questions all that were answered quickly and thoroughly. Would highly recommend.

Great time! We visited in late August and took the tour of San Francisco, lunch in Sausalito, and Muir Woods. The minibus was the perfect size for traveling and comfort. Our guide, Adam, was on time, interesting, pleasant informative and funny yet professional. There were plenty of stops and enough time at each. Our guide even offered to take pictures of us which we appreciated. I was slow getting in/out of the bus and around due to a physical limitation and he was not only understanding but helpful. We were on the city tour that included a stop for lunch in Sausalito and a stop in Muir Woods. We were at a port stop on our cruise and felt like this included everything we wanted to see in SF, plus we had time to shop in Fishermans Wharf when the tour concluded there. My husband and I had such a great time on the Famous Tour + Muir Woods. We had to move our tour to another day because we were both sick and Dylans Tours was so accommodating and let us move it without any fuss. The tour itself was so much fun. Our tour guide, Rolando, was hilarious and informative. This tour was an A+....if you are in San Francisco you MUST do this tour.Marlin was an awesome tour guide. He knew so much history and even all the recent facts of San Francisco. He is also a great photographer. He was so willing to take pics of our family. We did the all day tour with Alcatraz. It was the best way to see SF....the only thing I would adjust is to maybe stop in China Town or Italy town. But I understand timing could be an issue. I guess well have to do another tour from Dylans. But over all best tour weve been to. The classic Dylans Famous Tour was perfect for our visit to San Francisco! I traveled with my elderly mother and she was able to stay on the bus at many of the stops when she wanted to relax and see the views through the windows. All the sites were wonderful and our guide was funny, knowledgeable, and definitely passionate about his city! This is a great way to start a visit to SF and sample many locations to see where youd like to spend more time. That was Muir Woods for me! I wish I could have bottled the smell of that forest. Thanks to the Dylans team!

An enjoyable tour with our experienced guide. The day was a bit rushed though, would have liked to had more time at various spots. Was expensive for us with the exchange rate from Australian dollars to US dollars. A tip: once you meet the driver, get to the bus as quick as possible to get a good seat. Unfortunately for us, we were polite and let others on before us and family groups sat apart to nab all the window seats so we had to split up and sit next to strangers, with a filtered view :(

We rented bikes to cross the Golden Gate Bridge into Saulsalito and then a shuttle to Muir Woods and the adventure was great! We were able to ride at our own pace with plenty of time. The tour guide on the shuttle, Patrick, was excellent and kept us entertained with trivia, jokes and chocolate on the shuttle! Loved that our tour guide was from San Francisco! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We loved his casual nature, too. We also loved that the vehicle and group size was smaller than the mega bus and it seemed we were able to tour some of the neighborhoods without disrupting the community.

If you only have a day to visit the city, this is your tour! I chose this tour and I am very happy for that. We visited the main spots in SF, including Muir Woods. The guide, that was really really nice (I dont remember the name, sorry, but he mentioned he is from Santa Bárbara), stopped in the 6 spots he had to do, and in a couple of more because we had time. I recommend to do this tour if you dont have too much time to spend in SF. I did Dylans famous tour.

We found Dylans tours from trying to find last minute tickets to Alcatraz, and bought the tour due to us only having a couple of days in San Fran. Really glad we did. I had been there a few times before and was impressed with the knowledge of our tour guide. Aside from the standard attractions, all sorts of knowledge about different places. Best small group tour in San Francisco!! We took the 7 tour of the city, Sausalito and Muir Woods. Adam our guide/driver was a SF native and very knowledgeable about the area. The view from Emerald Peak is the most beautiful view of the bay area I have ever seen! A well deserved 5 star rating.

Absolutely best value. We rented electric bikes and did half day bike tour across the golden gate bridge and were picked up in Sausalito and shuttled to Mirwoods national Park for a 1.5 hour walking tour of the giant redwoods. Our tour driver (Adam) was entertaining and informative. A pleasure to have as a guide! I suggest electric bike rental as it makes the trip effortless and enjoyable Next say we rented electric bikes for the day and went back across the bridge and all around the city, including going down crookedest road. Service and price were outstanding! Check with your hotel to see if they offer any negotiated discounts with this vendor. They have several tour packages to choose from.

Dylans came highly recommended by friends who had visited San Francisco a year earlier, and it definitely lived up to expectations. Memories of a lifetime for our family of four! … If you are spending several days in the city, I recommend booking the full-day tour as early as possible during your stay. We learned a lot and went back to areas that we especially liked on our own later in the week --- things we might have missed all together without the initial tour …. Time and money well-spent!

Id give our full day San Francisco and Muir Woods Dylan Tour 5 WOWs!!! It was reasonable ($98) and small group (maybe 15 to 18) on an air conditioned bus(on a rare 95 degree Wednesday?!?). But, most especially, I have to rave about our home-grown driver/guide who not only took us through neighborhoods/areas we could never have easily reached by public transit, but also shared his excitement about the city. Reynaldo gave us tips on restaurants and and other places to visit too. All this made for an outstanding day!!!

My sister and I took my grandson to San Francisco while the rest of his family was at a baseball tournament with his brother. Our Dylans Tour was the highlight of our trip. We loved the open cart (although at my age it was a little hard to get into) and our guide was charming and informative. I have already recommended it to everyone I know.

We did the Famous tour July 4, 2019! Julio was our guide! Fantastic! Our first visit to San Francisco, so the information he shared was very interesting! I’m a type “A” personality, so I loved that he kept things moving and on time! Muir Woods stop was one of our favorites!

This has been one of the best city tours Ive ever done! I wasnt sure what to expect but from the limo bus, to the tour guide (shout out to Rolando!), to all the great places we went, I loved every minute of it. Also, the communication with them was five star. It was going to be a bad weather day and they offered us to change our tour, and they were easy to deal with on the phone and through email. I would recommend this experience to everyone traveling to SF (especially those that have never been)!

What an INCREDIBLE tour. I recommend everyone do this when visiting San Fran. My wife and I were in San Fran for a short period of time and this was the best way to see so much in 6 hours. Our tour guide Josh was AMAZING, one of the best days!

Took a day tour (around SF, Muir Wood, Sausalito and Alcatraz) with Dylans Tour while in SF. The tour and schedule are great, you can see so many things (and learn about many fun facts & stories) about in SF in just one day. As a tourist, I would recommend taking this tour on the first day so you know where you want to go and spend more time during the rest of your stay.

Great tour! Our guide went above and beyond to give us the greatest experience possible in such a short period of time. Its amazing to be able to see SF, Muir woods and Alcatraz all in one day.

The staff at Dylan’s went above and beyond meeting our needs. We were a group of 5 who wanted to tour the sequoias but some of us wanted to take the ferry and some wanted to ride bikes over the bridge. The staff was very helpful planning our day as well as giving us exact directions for where to make connections. All of the advanced planning let us have a relaxing day touring. This is customer service that you don’t encounter often .

This was an excellent way to see the city and the electric bike is a huge asset on the steep San Fran hills. This tour was really fun and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Overall- well worth the price!!!! Highly recommend.

This was a the best city tour Ive ever had. They really took us to places other tours didnt go. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, fun and personable, and I could tell that he really enjoyed his job. He could give us recommendations of places where we could get the same tourist-trap experiences without the wait or being overpriced. I could tell that he really has a deep understanding of the city and its history. I had a great time.

We booked City Tour and Muir Woods. Best decision we made. City Tour is very comprehensive. There is no way we would visit all the places ourself. Muir Woods and Sausalito are must see if you are in SF. Our guide was super informative and funny. Best value if you want a semi-private tour of San Francisco!

We had the absolute BEST time! We came to SF for our anniversary and I think we picked the best way to see the Golden Gate Bridge and the Res Woods in Muir Wood! Oh! And the electric bikes were so worth it. Those hills are no joke! The bikes made it easier to really take in the sights and enjoy the ride. Also, I really liked how we got to venture off into SF and make our way to the bridge verses following a tour guide. The Muir Woods were also amazing and our driver was so nice and knowledgeable about the area. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting SF especially for the first time like us! Dylans Tours are awesome! We had Rolando as our guide and he was amazing! Such a fun young guy who was a native of San Francisco and knew his way around the city well, and gave us interesting tidbits along the way. Dylans goes to great locations, including Muir Woods which is beautiful and probably not somewhere I would have visited without them! The trip is a good idea to go on and see what areas you want to go back and investigate further. I would definitely recommend Dylans Tours!

We recently to a tour of SF and Muir Woods with Charles as our tour guide. It was our first time going to SF and Charles was terrific at providing commentary, history and answering all our questions. The tour gave a great overview of the variety of neighbourhoods in SF. The time spent at different spots was perfect.
