The reviews posted here were before ownership of this agency changed. Now there is NO Joy found here. High mileage 10 year old cars are rented here. One guy is the owner and only employee. He cannot be trusted. I paid $250 with a credit card. During my rental period he attempted to charge my card on file $7,000!!! This is no joke.

Wow needed something right away for my mom last second vacation planning and they came through, simplified the process also. Economical budget also for monthly rental. Most important is the positive attitude and great customer service and understanding my situation and their flexibility.

First I would like to thank Joy Car Rental and the amazing staff that does a great job. I travel all over the world, I rent cars and unfortunately I have had these big companies take so much of my money. It was frustrating, until a friend to me to Joy Car Rental. Price is what matters to me most, and they have unbeatable prices as well as selection. In addition to that it was a great expletive from beginning to end. They were kind of to check on me throughout the trip and give recommendations. I know I will never rent a car from anyone on the West Coast but Joy Car Rental. Again thanks and if you want to rent a car and not get taken advantage of Joy Car Rental is it.

I usually dont leave reviews but I had such great service that I thought its only fair to share my experience. I required a last minute rental and found these guys near my office. They pick me up from the body shop where I had dropped off my car. Maui put me in a great rental which btw was spotless inside/out and a full tank of gas. Most rental places dont do a great job keeping their inventory clean.I would definitely do business with this establishment again and highly recommend them to others who want an A+ service. Thanks Maui for all your help!

Definitely recommend this place over the big players in the market. Never have I seen a car rental being so accommodative and helpful. They are amazing and Ill definitely rent them again. The girls are very helpful and I could not, but, awe at their professionalism and customer service.This place was so good that I created an Yelp account to review them and since I value Google reviews the most, making sure I share my experience to help others.

I went to rent a car that was fast and easy, and that was the experience I received! Mehdi was super nice and helpful, which left me with a wonderful and satisfying experience of renting a car, previously frustrating with larger companies. Anybody should avoid this company. First by the lack of professionalism from the staff. Then the car was delivered to me in an unsafe and bad condition which led to damages that i had to pay on my own! They are just there to collect money. No assistance and no follow up! TO AVOID

DO NOT RENT! STAY AWAY! HORRIBLE COMPANY!I was involved in an accident with someone who rented from this company. The accident was not my fault and Joy Car Rental has refused to provide their insurance information. So now Im stuck paying to get my car fixed for an accident that was not my fault. The individual who rented the car did not have a US drivers license and no insurance. Isnt that the first thing a rental company asks for proof of?!The phone number I call directs you to the owners cell phone number and she yelled at me for calling her cell phone. Im sorry but thats not my fault you advertise with your cell number.This whole incident was not my fault and this company and owner is being completely unprofessional. Would definitely not recommend renting from them.

One of the customers from this company crashed their car into my vehicle and now they are giving me a hard time trying to get my vehicle fixed. Horrible service. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I will change my review if they attempt to help my situation

At the oposite of other car rental company, Joy car rental has a staff with courtesy who is always willing to help and explain to you the details for you to make the best deal

The worst car rental company ever!!! We rent a car for every vacation we take and this has absolutely been our worst experience to date. We reserved online through Expedia but when we picked up the car the employee started a whole new reservation. They charged us $50 more than our original reservation and blamed the extra on taxes they couldnt explain, they did not give us military discount like they said they would and they charged a $200 deposit that I am still trying to chase down. Every time you try to get answers from them you just get the run around I would not recommend this company to an enemy.

Awful car! No wiper fluid AT ALL, car speed maxed at 55 or it would vibrate, ...wait at off site lot is ridiculous! 40 minute at office just to get car...completely ill prepared for business! NEVER. AGAIN!
