This is the best car rental service I’ve ever used. I got the last car on the lot and I got it for a good price too. I don’t have insurance so I ended up only paying like $245 for the week with the insurance they provide. So it’s economically reasonable, quick, efficient, easy if you want to rent a car for yourself. Michael and his parents own a very respectable company and I would recommend this place to everyone.I always leave an honest review, whether it’s bad or good so thank you guys for making a good review easy to be honest about!

UHaul services were terrible, no one on sight & no one available to answer their phone. My truck was empty despite having paid extra to rent dollies, then I was charged for the rentals after the fact AND given an after-hours fee despite having brought the truck back and submitting the online check-out form exactly when required.

Very good 👍service I highly recommend them.

I love this place because you can rent an older car for like months at a time, for the cost of a regular car payment!! My roommate used to rent from here, not me, but I used to come here to pickup and drop off. Very nice guy, awesome to work with based on what Ive seen and talking to the owner. If you cant afford to buy a car, this is the perfect long term solution!!!

Placed reservation online and called today to change my pick-up time and Esther informed me that the online reservatons werent being taken and that they are not taking any pick-ups. Then informed me that the car needs to stay in San Diego and cannot go outside of the county. None of this is online and if theyre not taking reservations they shouldnt offer it! Worse service! I dont even want to give a star but wouldnt post without it

The new owners of this business are really amazing! Excellent customer service! The prices are impeccable and they have a great selection of quality cars! Besides the prices, I love that there are no extra or hidden fees! Everything is included! I love their flexibility and I highly recommend using this business for daily, weekly or even monthly rentals!

Awesome place clean professional organized business

These guys make car renting easy. I was fed up with the long waits and headaches of the big chain car rental companies and decided to give a local company a chance and Im so happy I did. I was in and out in a matter of minutes and had a car for an incredible weekly rate. Their prices crushed the big chains and I wasnt pressured into buying more insurance like the big chains do. I ended up needing the car longer than I thought I would and they were able to put me on the monthly plan without any problems. Their monthly rates were also incredibly low and I was able to return the car when I was done with it. Just a pleasurable experience from start to finish.

The mechanic that works there is an excellent mechanic he does such great work plus hes friendly and while youre waiting for your car to be fixed you can throw darts or just hang out

This place has awesome customer service specially from the new manager Julian. He makes me feel comfortable when renting a car here at Sensible. The prices are good and the cars are very clean and are excellent for me. Compared with the service before and after, he has truly shown his duty for improving the business and I would recommend that anyone needing a car should check Sensible out.

If you dont want the hassle of the major car companies then head to Sensible. These guys really have their act together. I needed a car at the last minute to take to a wedding in Rancho Bernardo. Sensible let me pick any car and even worked with me on the directions. I was just really impressed with the professionalism. Thank you!

The owner Amir is very responsive and helpful. He tries his best to resolve any problems that arises with the rental. He even responds outside business hours. The other staff are friendly and helpful too. I recommend this place.The only downside is the $250 deductible they have on insurance.

We got two broken cars in a row and the customer service is ridiculous. We couldnt get a refund because the responsible employee said she can only talk to her boss once in a week and is not able to do it on her own. We wanted a mechanic to repair our car then, but that wasnt possible either, so we had to stick with a car with a broken indicator and paid the full price. Avoid this place!

Not as organized as the big rentals but the person in charge was good and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for long term rentals

Update: manager contacted me and asked how to make things right. ended up giving me a small discount. Cars arent great, but better than nothing for that price. for a long term student rental it will do the trick.Took an uber here this morning to pick up my car for my 9 am reservation. Nobody was there. Called and got no answer even though they were scheduled to be open from 8-5 that day. A man who showed up said that these guys never show up on time.Had to take another uber back so i could get to work on time. Out 30 dollars and no car. The guy called me hours later and didnt have a good explanation for why they were not there on time.I will be taking my service elsewhere.

We rent a first car which pulled to the right.We wanted to give it back and get a refund because we just filled up the gas. Instead we got another broke car. The turn signal at the back was broke. We realized that when we were in LA. It made things really difficult for us.Never again.

I called this car company and spoke with a nice gentleman who by the name of Julian who informed me of the requirements to rent a vehicle. I made sure I asked him several times if he was sure of the requirements. He also informed me that we didnt need a reservation, as they had plenty of cars and would have one available to rent when I got there around 6pm. My boyfriend and I showed up at the rental car place, and no one was inside at first because the guy was outside assisting a customer. We waited and when he came inside, he rudely said, what do you need? My boyfriend and I told him that we wanted to rent a car and that we spoke with someone earlier about renting, we didnt have a reservation, but we wanted to try them out anyway. It was 6:30 when we got there, so there shouldnt have been any issues. The rude guy asked for a major credit card and drivers license. I informed him that I was told that we could use our debit card to rent, and he rudely told me that we couldnt use it. He told us that the guy who just started working there misinformed us, and that we needed a major credit card per the manager. I told him that we spoke to Julian, who he confirmed was the manager, but he still wouldnt rent us a car. I was furious that I drove all the way down there, and he spoke down to us as though we were in the wrong. I wont ever rent from this place, seems kinda shady anyway. Ill be calling the manager today and possibly reporting to the better business bureau.

If its their good day they will help and your work will be done faster otherwise. They have some decent cars at a reasonable rate.
