Took my son in for a cut with Mike. It started with a hot towel wrap and massage, then he proceeded to perform a meticulous fade which is definitely key to a great cut. He spent a lot of time making sure no hair was out of place and everything blended perfectly. Lastly he explained styling techniques and product application so that my son could replicate the style once we left. We will absolutely be back!

Definitely an amazing Barbershop experience! Mike Perez (SmoovCuts) is an artist and takes his time to give you the best experience money can buy. Great attention to detail, professional, kind, and all around good vibes within the shop. I rate Mike a 10/10 and would highly recommend. Best barber in San Diego!

Great vibe at the barbershop. First time getting a fresh cut and beard trim at this place, and I wasn’t disappointed. I’m always skeptical about going to a new barbershop, but you could tell they all knew what they were doing.Prices are reasonable for the great service they provide. Not to mention the free drinks, even beer for those 21+•••I’ll definitely be coming to this place, and thanks to my first barber Eric for the fresh cut.

I love this place. My son and husband get great haircuts. The young men and woman are so friendly. Its like walking into that TV show Cheers. Everyone says hello when you walk in. So dont be rude, say hello back. I bet you can go all day and no one will speak to you first or you them. These talented guys get you in and out within and hour if you make an online appointment. The music is funky and the conversation never disappoints. I let my son sweep hair here as a side job as long as he keeps his GPA above 3.7. I dont leave my kid around anyone. These guys are really good roll models and they teach my son about responsibility.

Shop has a dope and hip vibe. Jose is my go to barber and cuts my hair consistently every time I go in. The whole crew is very entertaining. I HIGHLY recommend making an appointment, otherwise you will be waiting for a bit. They take there time and care to make sure you walk out of that store looking fresh, so if you do a walk-in you may find yourself waiting.

As someone who is transgender, walking into any barber shop is intimidating and sometimes scary. I have been only in shops where I feel completely out of place and unwelcome until I came to country club, each time I walk in I feel excited to be there. Peso and Mark continue to give me the best cuts I’ve ever had, they listen to what I want and put in the work and care to execute it perfectly. I plan to continue using their services as long as I live in the San Diego area.

So Im looking for a new Barber shop. this one just opened and has good reviews, so I walked in at 4pm on Sunday and sat down.. nobody said a word to me, I figured I was waiting for the next barber then another person walks in 20 minutes later and gets addressed by one of the barbers and asked if he has an appointment he says no just a walk in, the barber says were booked for the day were not taking any more appointments for haircuts, this after I sat there for 20 minutes waiting all the while thinking I was going to get a haircut..LAME and very unprofessional I will never come back here again and would advise everyone to steer clear of this place unless you got time to waste..Id give them no stars if Google would let me.

Sometimes an appointment not necessary need to get a haircut but the haircut was worth it because when I went there it was a blast I like it how did done with my hair most likely be going to a few of them about myself again And very careful with their detail The employees were really nice to me and we had a beautiful conversation about life and what is what is going on finally did give me the good backpack that’s a great start 5/

I have to say they did an excellent job cutting my hair. They pay very close attention to detail. I unfortunately had a busy day so I did not have all the time in the world to stay there. That was my mistake I did not realize that is what I should expect when I get there. This fits the whole genre of the barbershop. A place to chew the fat, get a shave and a haircut. I will definitely come back, but on a Sunday or on my day off, so that I can probably appreciate their attention to detail. Excellent business I wish I knew about this place sooner.

Probably one of the best haircuts I have had in my life, including 16 years of getting my hair cut almost once a week in the Marine Corps. They take their time and ensure they do a good job. With that said, it is a more expensive cut because you also pay for the atmosphere. They have free beer, many televisions playing sports, and the barbers foster a joking/entertaining environment amongst them and the customers.

Update: went for 2 years dont go here anymore. Neither do my 3 boys. Thats 4 heads. They forgot that they exist because of customers.Really want them to succeed. Guys work hard. Hope they figure it out.

Walked in without an appointment today at around 10am. Was told that they had an appointment at 11am, to sign in, and return at 11am and did.By 11:35am the trimmer that I had an appointment with had spent over 80 minutes on the customer before me. Women don’t sit in the chair that long. What working man has time for that in the middle of a workday? How can they make any money....he had 3 appointments all day. They don’t is my guess. I digress. Oddly, not once was I acknowledged or spoken to as I waited patiently and listened to stoner music and observed the bizarro setting.Complete waste of time, not to mention the strange haircuts I observed. I was curious where these people receiving these weird haircuts were employed. Unprofessional all the way around. Too bad. Convenient location. Won’t be back.Also, very filthy shop. Observed suspect cleaning techniques of grooming equipment as well. Hepatitis potential, allegedly and hypothetically of course.

Really really Bad customer service especially my first time. Nobody approach me or greet me atleast! Did not get haircut, reason is I waited close to 45mins and just left to go find another barber shop. This should be no star but needed to leave a comment below.
