I went in to buzz off all of my hair after waiting out the pandemic. I was looking for a clean, professional buzz cut and skin fade. The barber seemed uncomortable with my being a female who wanted a buzz cut, spoke to a man i didnt know about me before actually addressing me, and spoke to me as if I didnt know I was at a barbershop where they cut with clippers. If you want to go to a place that is not about diversity, equity or inclusion, you can head back to the stone age here.

Just needed a quick and dirty buzz. Most places love that because they can get you out the door in 5 minutes. She didn’t, she gave the same amount of attention to detail as someone getting a fade. Very nice, Thank you!

I almost didnt want to leave a review so that this place doesnt get more popular and potentially crowded, but I had to. Ive been to Barber Side, Mr. Browns, and Razor Line and for my money, Id recommend Adams Ave Barber Shop above them all. Its no frills but very cost effective. I just get a simple fade but the woman who has been cutting my hair lately is quick, thorough, and gentle. This place is a throwback, and not in a hipster way. Save yourself some money and check this barber shop out.

First time I came here and it was absolutely amazing! The barber is a very skillful guy. Super fast at cutting my hair and left me with an amazing haircut. I wish I could have gone there sooner. Ill be going back for sure.

Went in today after a long long time... I was traveling and visiting family. Sat in the chair and barber said you have long hair. I told him I was out of town. He charged me $17 for long hair. But cut it short. And took much less time almost half than the guy before me with shorter hair. Sign says $13 for men. He charged me $17 for long hair. But what pissed me off is that he says to his wife while I was exiting. He expects a good price when he hasnt been here for almost a year. What a douche.

First time going here and he did an exceptional job. Took a chance of not going to my regular barber because he was closer and I admit it was worth it. Fantastic job. Will be seeing him on a regular basis

No wait, $20 cut and beard trim. There were two barbers when I went, male and female, the female cut my hair and I cant recommend her enough. Very meticulous, gentle, overall great experience.

Mike is the best damn barber I have ever been to. I let no other human being touch my hair unless it is a dire emergency. This is a little family owned shop with amazing service, great pricing, and generally open availability. If you are a dude looking for a great barber without the trappings of the Normal Heights attitude this is the place. I asked and I asked and I asked please cut it shorter on the sides and back to no avail I just left and went to a neighborhood barbershop near my house. Paid double but at least got what I wanted
