Yonas is an extremely excellent barber. He gave me a fantastic fade from the photo I showed him. He even let me use my own shaver that I brought there. It is a great community as well because he communicates with all us customers and makes sure theyre satisfied. I had a great experience at Yonas barbershop. You should definitely check it out. The best place to get a cut in North Park. The shop is unassuming and unpretentious compared to the other more hipster spots in the area. But its a real barbershop. The community moves through as you get your haircut and everyone seems to know Yonas. Hes easy to schedule with or get a spot in the chair during a walk in. Very nice, friendly, and interesting if you wanna chat and chill if youre more of a silent type. Great spot. My go to in San Diego.

Yonas took care of me at the last minute. I was in a rush to get to a wedding and I was stressing over getting a good cut only an hour before I had to go! Keep in mind, I hadnt had my hair cut in probably 4 months! I was in trouble. Yonas jumped to the gun, and gave me a great cut and even took care of my beard at an awesome price. Hands down the best barber in North Park actually in San Diego. Reasonable price, and clean atmosphere. Younas is very professional and polite. I see cutting kids hair and he is very good with kids. He takes appointments as well as walk in but I recommend setting up an appointment. You need a hair cut go see this man.

Have to wait a bit sometimes now the word is out about how good Shawn and Yonas are, but its worth it. You can tell how highly regarded they are since you see the regulars making reservations and lining up before the place opens. But theyll get to you pretty fast, even if you just walk in without an appointment.Its a relaxed atmosphere and they know their craft. Plus its open every day of the week, and til 6 Tue-Sat.

These guys are the best kept secret in the city. You can get a haircut anywhere. But if you want a really great haircut and a down-to-earth atmosphere, this is the place to be.Shawn has been cutting my hair for years. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
