It was the worst experience I have had in a barbershop ... and I dont think Im picky at all..The guy was texting while cutting my hair and when he noticed I wasnt happy with that, he tried to finish me as son as possible.Hitting my head harder than normal he finally was done with horrible results.. and one of my ears almost bleeding.. I wouldnt recommend this place at all..

Ask for Glenn when you get a cut. Best barber in town by far, it’s not even close. He pays attention to detail unlike anyone else I’ve ever seen. He is very consistent and will spend as much time as needed in order to ensure that you are looking great by the time you leave. He is so great at what he does that he needs to start up his own barber school. If Glenn is your barber when you come here, you will be thrilled with the way you look by the time you leave. Glenn is the man!

They do really great work at very reasonable prices. Most of those big brand name barbershop have absolutely butchered my hair in the past. Im glad to have found one that not only is a local business, but employs barbers with skill.

I’ve gone to Paul, the owner, for undercuts. Each time I have been pleased by my cut/design. My last appointment was 10/21/19. As we all know, hair grows. I have an upcoming event and wanted my design to look fresh. I tried to schedule an appt, with Paul, and received confirmations. After a short time each one was cancelled with no explanation or referral to another barber at the shop. At first I thought maybe it was the program he was using. On my 4th attempt I was not even given a choice of barbers to choose from. Paul has removed himself, and others, from populating as choices on the scheduling system. WOW!!! How very unprofessional in this business. I suppose talent does not equal professional. I will not be recommending Paul or DTown barbers in the future nor do I plan on returning as a client. This is no way to run a business!!

These guys are great! Been growing my hair for three years, so I really wanted my first cut to be good. Paul did way better than good, I couldnt be happier with my cut or the experience 100 thumbs up!!!

Best Barber in town. These guys are on point when it comes to hair. They regularly attend competition around the country. They can cut anything you want. Some of our employees at the dance studio get cut here every week. I recommend DTown Barbers to anyone!

Sergio took a really rough cut I got somewhere else and turned it into a spectacularly crisp look and a clean fade. This place has some seriously talented barbers dedicated to making you look your best.

I went to this place some time ago, I surprised its still open.Got two haircuts after making appointments. Great haircut. Quick and clean. The third appointment I had I arrived 5 min early as usual, Paul (the owner) had taken a walk in before my appointment and was working on him. He tells me this and I had no problem with it. The issue was that he didnt finish that haircut until 15 minutes past my appointment time. The client leaves and Paul says hell be right back before retreating into the back. Comes back out, grabs something from his station as I stand up he says not yet. Eventually he comes back out OVER 30 MINUTES later to finally attend me.So, I think maybe next time Ill just try a walk in. I come in a couple of weeks later and hes not with anyone. I ask him for a cut and says he has an appointment in 20 minutes. Are you freaking kidding me?! That didnt stop you last time!Tl;dr: Horrible customer service from the owner.

Got my haircut by DAngelo. I gotten a great cut at a very reasonable price for downtown San Diego. The attention to detail was superb. I will definitely be back in 2 weeks!

Ive had the worst experience today... I walked in and not one barber provided any type of customer service. After nearly 2 hours of waiting around I decided to take it upon myself to go ahead and leave. I called and asked if they take appointments and they told me they didnt! To just come in !? Why were people getting preferential treatment if I was there first ? Its sad that there are talented barbers there but with ZERO customer skills. Ive come twice before this (walk in) and have had an amazing experience. Not coming back after this experience.

Paul D has been cutting my hair since well before he opened the shop. Everyone there lives up the the high standards he has set! Attention to detail and he truly takes pride in the way your hair looks.

Walked in waited an hour and still didnt get a haircut, 3 barbers taking their time, they were arguing about boxing since i had say down and non of them made sense. One Barber was done but kept arguing with the rest and after an hour i just got up and left. Worst experience ever would not recommend not professional at all none of them.

I had been going here for quite some time. It was the first barber shop I tried in San Diego. At first it was great, love the cut, adequate price. However the appt part of the barber shop isnt honored as well as it should be. If they have something to do, even though you made the appt, they will honor their interests first. Huge disappointment for me, especially because I spend quite a bit of money here.
