Blake did a great job, he put a lot of attention into my cut and was friendly to talk to, giving me some good BBQ recommendations. The decor in here is cool and a throwback to the classic barber style

Anyone who gives this place a bad rating doesn’t have a CLUE. Mikal did great and it was my first visit. I recently lost my barber of many years bc he moved to Austin. I tried a few in OC with no luck and bad haircuts. I decided to give these guys a try and read some reviews about Mikal. Loved the booking online bc I don’t have time to waste, walked in and was out in 30 minutes. He listened to everything I asked and had no attitude or ego about it at all. True master of his craft.

Made an appointment online so I avoided a wait. They were ready for me when I arrived. Great barber shop feel and experience. Its the little things like the brushes they use on your neck, the razor shave with warm shaving cream on your neckline, the after shave and powder on your neck at the end. A much better experience than a Supercuts or similar haircut stores. Plus, the haircut itself was awesome. Definitely recommend.

Their shop was a perfect place to visit, for it was clean, comfortable, and stylish. Also, what I loved them the most was their way of servicing customers. It was great and satisfying. Thank you so much! I will continue to ask for a service here.

When I came home to analyze my haircut a little better, realized they did a horrible job. My Mohawk was uneven on both sides and thicker in the back, wanted a 1 to skin fade and left me with a 1 and a few bald spots, it wasn’t blended and they didn’t follow my parts. Worst barber I’ve been to

Ive switched to different haircut places but no place has done my hair better than Leftys Barber shop. Very cool guys very cool spot in a very good location. Ive been here twice but damn do I come out satisfied with my hair.

I asked for a low fade and got a medium-high fade.The actual haircut was really good, but not what i asked for.The second time I had Felipe. I asked for a super low fade and light trim on top. He was really friendly. However the haircut sucked. I got a high fade on one side and just a high buzz on the other side (so with no fade at all). Took about an inch and a half off the top.Based on the other reviews this must be an anomaly.Probably wont go back since the cut is 19 bucks and I still have yet to get what Ive asked for.

I highly recommend this shop! As a woman, I never felt more comfortable in a barbershop. The staff is very respectful and knowledgable about all hair. Very diverse customer base and very clean! The owner is very welcoming and accommodating.

Ive been coming here for a haircut for the past 4 years and can trust that no matter which barber I get Im going to come out looking fresh and properly lined up. Haircuts are $19 and they do not shampoo or wash your hair after which is a bit of a downside but you cant beat the consistent quality of cuts. The gents here know how to make a guy look great!

If youre tired of stylists and want a real haircut, Leftys is the place to go. All of the guys there will dial you in to a good looking haircut. Maybe even one you didnt know you could rock. Not cheap but worth every cent and the conversation is great.

Great barber shop nestled down near the heart of Pacific Beach. Make sure if you decide to go, call ahead of time for an appointment. I showed up and it was only luck that the 1pm appointment was a no-show. Jason was awesome letting me slip in and did an skillful job on my executive contour. Will definitely go back. Make sure to bring cash ;)

Same guy cuts my hair for years. I go out of my way to make sure I get a good cut. Friendly guys, good small talk, and they all have skills.

I have been coming to Leftys on Garnet now for 3 years and have never been disappointed. Everyone in the shop is very friendly and really interactive with their clients. I myself have used Doug for all of my cuts and on occasion a beard line up. He has been awesome and I wouldnt go anywhere else.

This place needs zero advertising or word of mouth for its business. It is already quite busy and if you decide you need a top notch haircut and want to go there do yourself a favor and call ahead and get an appointment. I find haircuts a chore and sometimes an awkward experience. Not here, in addition to giving the best haircut you could get the guys cutting the hair are very easy to talk to and the place makes you feel at ease. Its the guys guy place to get a cut. Nough said, this place rep stands alone...

Walked in to what appears to be a conventional barber shop and take a seat in the queue. Waited about 20-30 mins before what I thought was my turn in the chair to be told that it was appointment only and the next one was in 2 hours time. Clearly I should have asked on arrival but all the barbers were speaking to their respective clients and didn’t want to interrupt. So I cannot attest to the quality of the haircuts but I’m irritated enough by the failure of their customer service to leave this review so take it as you will.

Got a great cut here a couple weeks ago. Really happy with its look and the barbers really know what they are doing. I always have trouble with fantastic sams and great clips and finally found a new spot i trust with my looks and style. great local barber shop and I love their old style and ay of doing things. Definitely worth trying if your looking for a new place to get cut!

Just got my hair cut by Chuck... Worst haircut and line up Ive gotten since living in PB. Didnt hear a thing I told him about how I wanted my haircut. I told him a medium fade, but keep it close, he did a low fade and kept it nowhere near close, until I told him I wanted a medium fade for the second time. Finally got something close to a medium fade, but still doesnt look very good. I can literally see the line where he tried to fade it. Then he attempted to line up my beard and came nowhere near a straight line...
