Did not have a wash station to wet your hair. Carelessly hacked away at my hair and now it looks terrible. Was not communicative about what style I wanted and was very reckless cutting. Ended the haircut with so much hair even after showering. Terrible customer service

Great place for a quick haircut. Prices are reasonable $15 + tip for the haircut. Typically takes 5-20 minutes to be seen. Busier on the weekends, team abides by COVID requirements (at least in May 2021). Been going here for 2 years will be continuing.

Came here for my first haircut after moving from New York, expectations were high. Saw the good reviews and took the chance. I got a bald fade and it came out amazing. Great attention to detail and very professional barbers in here. Unless you’re cutting your own hair you won’t find a better price for this quality of haircut in all of San Diego I guarantee it.

Been taking the family here for 8-10 years. I got tired of stylists charging $20-60 to spend 5-10 minutes on my kids hair. With these guys its 20-30 meticulous minutes, even on my bald dome. Over the past 10 years the price has gone from $10->13. With a $2-3 tip Im out the door for $30. Some of the barbers are a bit better than others, but again the attention to detail is genuine. Can be a wait, thats why I gave it a 5.

Happy barber gives great haircuts and they dont talk to you. Every once in awhile the lines are pretty long.

Living near La Jolla gives college students like me a bad time when it comes to finding cheap barbers. This place has the most affordable price around ($11, compared to the many $20+) and each time I have gone, service has been fairly quick and done well.This is definitely my go to barber shop.

I recently came in for my third haircut at this establishment, and I have been very pleased with the results each time. The $12 price cant be beat either. The waiting time varied from about 5 to 30 minutes across the three visits, but it was definitely worth the wait.

Worst place for haircut. I dont know what the deal is in San Diego to sit customers at the barber shop facing opposite to the mirror. Never seen that before. When I got there I was one of the last ones for the day and all of them were in a rush to xlocl the shop. They dont know how to blend. I got out feeling guilty of trying this barber. Would never make the same mistake again.

Pretty good mens haircut for the price. Be sure to be very specific about what you want. The barbers dont speak English very well and things can get lost in translation. If you want a non-standard cut, youre better off going somewhere else.

For $9 you get a complete simple haircut with no frills, or any other unnecessary procedures. Its a small place, so it can get crowded and wait lines can take up to 30 minutes, but hey its cheap.Its cash only place so make sure you take enough.

Asked for a cut and a shave cut went fine, then he pulled out a buzzer and buzzed my beard. What kind of Barber does not know how to do a shave! Not really a Barber Shop just a mens salon.

This place is my go to barbershop because they are cheap and they know how to fade hair.They raised their prices from $8 to $9 recently. I usually give them $10 including tip anyways so I guess Im technically just tipping less.I really dont like the way their line works there...well, there is no line. People just sit down and the barbers try to go in order of who was first, but sometimes they forget or in my case thought I was waiting for a specific barber who just so happened to take a half an hour break so they skipped over me. You have to really be assertive to get what you want.Ive seen certain guys just stand up and take a seat, cutting people in line and the barbers dont do anything.The barbers can be somewhat inconsistent sometimes, some will spend up to 20 minutes making sure everything is right, some will do it rather quickly and leave strands of hair sticking out that you dont see until you shower.Anyways, there are problems, but I like it enough that I dont need to really look for another barber for now.
