Customer service was fair better than most places for me it was the shaping and the polish. I dont believe Ill go back but Im glad I tried it

I don’t usually post reviews but I felt I needed to given the gravity of the situation. I also would hate for someone else to experience what experienced at this establishment. My time at O’Connor Nails & Spa was spent with David doing my nails. It was at my 3rd or 4th visit with him that I began to notice a green tinge on my nail. When I questioned David about it, he told me that it was from moisture and it would be fine, then he proceeded with my fill. It was after this last visit that I noticed my nails had an odor. I went to another nail salon to have my nails removed and I saw what you all see in the pictures. I have NEVER encountered anything like this the 20 years I have been getting my nails done!Now before I went to another salon, I actually went back to O’Connor Nail & Spa to see Yen (whom I had appointment with). Only to arrive prior to my appointment time to be told by David that Yen is too busy to do my nails! As I sat there waiting for my Moms nails to be done, Yen sat in the back room with several other ladies. There was one other customer and my mother getting their nails done BUT Yen was too busy to attend to a SCHEDULED appointment!Please do not be fooled by this place. I was for a few months and unfortunately it took mold to be on my nails and unprofessional staff for me to come to my senses! The powder that was used on my nails was of poor quality and they do not clean their instruments between clients!Hope this message touches and resonates with many of you because it is not worth the health of your nails!

Had probably the best experience. At first I couldnt get the guy to talk and carry on a conversation, about half way in he started cutting up and joking with me. Nails were good too.

I got my nails done Wednesday Nov. 13th. By Sunday Nov. 17th my nails started chipping. They are supposed to be Shelac that last at least 2 weeks. When I called this morning to let them know, I was offered to come in and have them redone for free (I am out of town with work til Thanksgiving) I was told that I could get a discount next time I come in. Horrible customer service in my opinion. Not my fault nails were not done correctly and definitely not my fault I cant come back today or tomorrow. Nails should be done for free. TAKE ADVICE OF REVIEWS! I should have and did not. BEWARE!!!!

This place does great work and takes their time. I have never felt like they are trying to hurry to fit more clients in. The staff is friendly and not pushy. This place is always a wonderful relaxing experience

Ive been coming here at least once a month for the past year for a basic pedicure and Ive never had any issues. Normally I go in on Sundays and if no one is available they give me a time to come back and sign in at the desk. I live very close so I dont mind driving back.

Never coming here again! Planned on getting regular nail polish then they asked me for shellac, so I said yes because I want the polish to last. So much for that. Shellac didnt even last for a week, terrible job!!! There are so many other nail salons. Better ones! Go there.

My nail tech is Nancy, and she is the best nail tech ever. The place is always clean and this is always where I go to get my nails do e.

The man who did my nails (I don’t know his name) he kept laughing every time he cut me with the drill. The shaping was clumpy and uneven.

I told him I wanted coffin but he did them square nail police looked like trash uneven nails I will NEVER come here again worst place ever

Got my nails done on Thursday. They were quick and professional. Monday broke one down through the actual nail. They fixed it with no problem. Nancy was great and worried whether or not she was hurting me. Ill be back.

I have been coming to this location twice a month since I moved to San Antonio a year ago. The staff is friendly, professional and accommodating. Ive never had a bad experience here, and the Deluxe Pedicure is on fleek. I would refer everyone I know here, and continue to cone here until I transfer out

Being coming here on and off for years. Never had a bad experience. Always leave feeling refreshed with perfectly painted toes.

Was not happy with how my nails looked. Lumpy, cut more narrow on one side of nail, didnt look even with nail. Went home and made my own improvements to look more natural with my fingers

Buyer beware and read reviews.... I would have this place was a joke! I paid $45 for shellac that lasted2 -3 days and started chipping. Worse place ever!

Yesterday I went to get my nails done here for the first time and it was the worst. The guy David did my nails and it was no where near what I wanted and almost let me leave like that until I said something redid my nails and there still messed up and very uneven. Mind you I did the dip so it was my real nails and he made them so short now well some of them. I’m very upset I still had to pay 45$!!!! I was there forever. Now I have to go somewhere else and spend another 45$ because he messed up two times. So disappointed. I will never go back

Went and asked for a certain manicure French tips with sparkle white powder and two solid white accent nails very simple even showed them a picture and they did what they wanted! So o ended up with a plain old French manicure and was cut!

Friendly staff, nail techs are thorough and very willing to fix anything you are not happy with. Appointments are recomended as they get busy quick.

David is amazing!! I’ll be back!

Didnt like it. I was almost waiting for like an hour to get my nails dry. They didnt even check. Nail polish is the worst. Never coming back to that place ever again!

The best place ever been going there over 10 years

I took my girlfriend here for an early valentines gift and this was her experience in her words..... The worst place Ive ever gotten my nails done at....they overcharged me for nails that I hate! I repeatedly told the nail tech I didnt like the way they looked and he just ignored me, I would never recommend this place to anyone....waste of money and time! When I complained about being overcharged for a horrible job, he just told me since I dont like them, that I shouldnt come back. Well I will never come back and I hope you dont waste your time or money there either!

My mother in law had fallen down on the street near her house and broke her pelivc bone and her left shoulder, this was in december of 2012. my sister in law had bought her a gift certificate from oconnor nails, didnt realize it that it expired in 3 monthes in march. well my mother in law finally got better and is able to walk now and do stuff for her self after my husband and I had moved in wiht her to help her get better. well she decided to go do our feet, well when she showed them the certificate they told her that it was expired and no good. the gift certifcate is like the same as money. sister in law paid 50 for it and to them it was no good. it is like a 50 dollar bill fading away on your desk. then they have the gull to tell me that the owner is the manager, they forgot i had been a customer then since they open and knows whois the owner of that salon. well after this, I will never ever go there again to that place, I would rather have rough dry feet and ugly looking then to go there. bad manager, bad workers and bad atmosphere. and besides I always think it is unprofessional to wait on people and talk in your native tounge knowing very well that the customers dont know what you are talking about. how rude

So like i just walked in and iv been here before and paid 25$ for full set i come today guy says 33$ how is it 33$ i have 10 fingers very mad will never come here again !!!
