Ive been to Pinkys years before pre-covid and got the mini spa pedicure. Its still available now but may no longer include the scrub.Today, I had the most relaxing pedicures with Culle. I chose the passion fruit pedicure which was $40 and included the scrub, lotion and mask. He massaged my legs during all 3 parts so I felt so pampered! Well worth the money spent! Definitely recommend asking for Culle for the ultimate treatment!

I love going here Kelly always does an amazing job and is always learning new techniques that never disappoint. They are kind and very open to whatever it is you want done !!

I’ve been to so many salon’s in my 40yrs of living, but Pinky’s is BY FAR, the BEST I’ve ever been to!! There were friendly, attentive, helpful and food an amazing job!! They even made my daughter feel important by including her into our conversation (she was waiting while I got my pedicure).I forgot to tell them to do shellack on my toes, so after they were finished, I mentioned it. Without batting an eye, they immediately redid them (it was after hours at this point) with hesitation or complaining. It was also the best pedicure ever! Super excited to go back again!!❤️I came in for eyelash extensions (which I’ve been doing for years at other salons) and was happier with them than I’ve ever been with other salons. They now have a lifetime customer!!❤️I would recommend this salon to anyone that wants any of their salon services preformed professionally, proficiently and efficiently. I promise, if you let them know exactly what you want, you will walk out of there happier than you’ve even been in the past!!

I called and booked a 6pm for 3 people Jan 17,2021. We showed up promptly. All 3 of us were getting pedicures and two of us were getting pedicures. All started out well until the man filing my natural nails were shaping them wrong. I asked for round and he was filing them straight across. He would not stop filing so I had to grab the file. I did not want to be rude at all, but I couldnt let him ruin my nails. Thankfully a woman stepped in and did a perfect job right off the bat and I was grateful! Before you know it I had 3 technicians working on me. They were all doing different things. They were rushing me out the door before I knew it. My nails were all still very wet. I expressed this concern but they insisted I have a good night! As they shoed me out. For $125 for pedi/mani I would expect better end results. I do not recommend this place. These photos are 4 days in. You can see how they didnt clear coat properly either. Didnt cover the entire nail.

The staff is very nice, but the service was poor. 3 little girls had their nails painted. It was $40, he did give me a discount on my daughters shellac.Unfortunately, all 3 girls had peeling and chipping within 2 hours of leaving there. All we did was go eat, they should not have come off so easily. 😞

Professionals make even short battered hands and feet look good!😊 I usually book with David Jr or Tina. Today, David Sr was my technician because I HAD to get in at a specific time. Stays up-to-date on all health codes. Clean salon with several staff. Nice new pedicure chairs with massagers. All professionals here are good. To secure a spot, be sure to make an appointment. Its a popular place so many technicians have loyal clients with standing appointments. Walk-ins can sometimes be accommodated. Tuesday is usually best day for walk-ins. Conveniently located at 1604 & Redland Road.

I feel very comfortable here since opening during this crazy time were all living in. So first off, their protection gear is all on. There are plexiglas between you and the nail artist. Theyve gone above and beyond to be safe. Sencondly...they have a million shellac colors to choose from. Also nail polish. Their pedicures are amazing. My husband and my daughter and I go for family pedi days. Love this place!!!

My experience was ok, I felt kinda weird 3 different technicians working on me but whatever...they need to be fast. But $85 before tip....they took 15 min to ring me up because card readers not working & then never told me how much mani was...I saw pedi was $30 but possibly more with shellac. My basic mani pedi was kinda expensive but Im happy with color...never going back

Tai did my nails last night and they came out amazing. They are really friendly there and do really good designs! I will definitely keep coming back here for sure, I get my nails done a lot so I am glad I found this place

Have been loyal to Pinky Nail for the last 2.5 years since moving to San Antonio. LOVED the old crew very dearly and always tipped each person I had $15 separately, but I am extremely disappointed with the new crew they have in there. My sister and I go our nails done on 10/1/2020. Both of our nails fell off to the slightest touch. My nails were blue dip. Right after my appointment I could see cracks throughout each nail under the top layer, which I ignored because I had no time to fix and it wasn’t horribly noticeable. A day later, my pinky nail fell off and I got it redone...The lady used Shellac & a UV light to set it because it was her “first” time and she did them wrong. It set, so I just went along. Now brings us to 10/7/2020, and my nails completely fell apart. I went into the salon to have them redone at 5:10pm, but another lady had an appointment at 5:15 and couldn’t wait for me to finish, so I decided to just have them removed and allow the lady with the appointment to be on time. So, I sat and took my own nails off with the bowl on boiling hot water & acetone (which left my hands red as a fire truck). After I finished, the lady, who I was later told us the NEW OWNER, told me my total was $10. I said to the other lady at the register “$10 when she didn’t do anything? I took my own nails off?!” which she then told me $5 and it was over with.I guess my overall review is negative for the new management at Pinky Nail. If your heart is set on going here, request Christina. She is part of the old crew from Pinky Nail and is the only lady I would trust there to do a quality job.Very disappointed in Pinky Nail’s new management. This is not how you treat loyal customers, especially when you’ve done no work on them.Lauren J.

David Sr. Was the best! Im diabetic and he was super careful with my pedicure and clipping my ingrown nails. All the he staff was friendly and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely return to this salon! Thank you David!

Cantonese or Vietnamese? No disrespect intended I just didnt know?But I am looking forward to going back!And yes, my feet couldve been feet that are used to model shoes, or attire! I went to Pinkys nail & spa for the first time for a pedicure & manicure, and it was a very pleasant experience. Great staff service, everyone was very nice. The price was reasonable compared to other places around the 1604 area. They are always busy, so expect a little wait, but that means they have a lot of customers which is a good thing. Will definitely go back again! Highly recommended!

TodayI went to Pinkys Nail &Spa for the first time and I was greatly pleased. Despite I didnt have an appointment and I was late in the day they did accommodate me and I was able to get service. I needed my eyebrows done and Tanya did an excellent job. She listened to what I was looking for, what I wanted to accomplish and what I didnt want. The outcome was perfect and I will definently make this my place to go. Tanya was very knowledgeable, kind and very gentle. I love my brows and I am very thankful. 100% recommended.

I’ve been getting my nails done by this family who owns the salon for the past 19yrs! They first started out in North Star Mall then moved across from the mall to a shopping center off Rector then they opened up Pinky’s off Redland. I love everyone that works here. Quality, very experienced, I’m always greeted by my first name, salon is always clean, and my nails look amazing every time! If I could give them 10 Stars I would!

Went last week and paid $45 for a full set. Within 2 days the nail polish was coming off and my heart design looked like a circle. Now 6 days later the nails are bubbling up. Definitely do NOT recommend them and I will never go back.

I had a really great experience at Pinkys Nail & Spa. The prices were great and the color selection was very big. However it did take awhile to be seen, and they took awhile to finish. My nails did come out very nice and they are very good quality.

Called this morning to set up an appointment for a full set and pedicure for my birthday . I work hard and really wanted to treat myself. The man on the other line asked if I wanted shellac gel I said yes because shellack lasts longer and drys faster. I just walked in for my appointment and they said that I was scheduled for manicure shellack not a full set shellack and would not be able to be seen because other people have appointments. Apparently the person they scheduled me with does not do full sets. So thanks pinky’s for the great birthday customer service.

Just came here for the first time. Met the owner and they took us in at the very end around 5pm. For it being the end of the day last minute, it was the best pedi Ive gotten. Im a dude,and have gotten ones at other places and this by far was the best. Loved the chair, loved everything they put and they were very friendly. They gave great service and are first class people! Deffinitly highly recommended.

Moderate pricing, very popular. I made an appointment. It is a good idea to call ahead and make an appointment. I was glad I called ahead, they still try to work in drop ins . I have sensitive skin and requested Mixhele. She did a great job. Above and beyond. I have been going to Pinkys for 20 years. Nice family very clean shop best practices.

When I first moved to San Antonio, I searched for a good nail place to get shellac done. One where I felt comfortable, where I didnt feel like everyone was talking about me. After trying a couple of places, I found Pinkys. This place is amazing! Everyone is so friendly! They do a great job! They make you feel comfortable and they are not pushy! They stay busy which is great! That means they are giving great service and people keep coming back! I have been going here for about 3 years now religiously! I even moved about 30 minutes away and still make the commute because they are worth it! They have tons of colors from regular polish to shellac to solar nails. They all do quality work! I recommend this place to all of my friends. I have friends from all over the country that rave about my nails and want to make appointments when they visit me in Texas to have their nails done. That should say something! Give it a try! :)

I went in for manicure. The woman who was doing my nails was very sloppy. She didnt cut the cuticle correctly so I told her about it. She complaining that my nails are too short. Then she told me to go away and never come back. What kind of service is that? I know they are not educated but if are in this business yippy cant do that to customers. Never going back for sure and Ill let other people in our community this is kind of service you will get from here. Terrible.

First of all, I never write internet reviews, but 3 days later the experience I had at Pinkys is still on my mind. I went into Pinkys on a slow business Tuesday morning without an appointment. I was looking for a new salon close to my house and I chose Pinkys based on reviews and powder dip selection. A gentleman began working on my nails, and as he was working he kept telling me to relax my fingers. I was sitting there totally chill, watching the Travel Channel BBQ show and I was not aware I my fingers were being unruly. I have been getting my nails done since I was 15 (over 20 years lol) and I have never been told that I was too tense to work on my nails. As he worked, he kept making noises to indicate his frustration with me. He complained that the white powder dip I chose was hard to work with, and every time a tiny bit of the red glitter got on the white powder he would make a huffy frustrated noise and aggressively wipe it away with frustration. He continued to tug on my fingers and make frustrated noises @ me- this happened half a dozen times and I was getting irritated and he finally said Im so nervous to do your nails because you dont relax... at which point I got assertive and said well then maybe you should take a break and let someone else finish up, because you sure are complaining about this a lot and you are a professional, you should be able to work with all kinds of customers and products. I did not express one single complaint about the way I was treated or the service I received the entire time he was working, but he did nothing but complain. Finally he passed me off to a nice lady who finished up the buffing and top coat. I had a nice conversation with the lady, she said her name was Jemmy I think. She was pleasant and friendly. I have no complaints about the nails, they look great with white and red glitter candy cane colors - but I tend to spend a lot on my nails and I want to be treated decently. Im not expecting champagne and a palm frond to fan me, but I dont expect to be treated like an inconvenience or like Im a problem either. There are too many nail salons in this town to throw away customers because a nail tech wanted to be rude.

I just came from Honolulu Hawaii I hadnt had my nails done for years, so my sister took me to pinkys nail I was very impress with the place customer service was awesome and they were so friendly and I have being going to them two months now, my sister have been going to them over seventeen years, so Im very please with them. Awesome job well done I recommend my friends.

Although they have many colors to choose from they are not considerate and convenient to their customers on their operating hours. I feel if you walk in to get service 30-45 mins before closing they should service regardless! Any good business would even service 5 mins before closing if you ask me! The first occurnance I walked in mid day and it was busy but no one greeted me or anything I felt bad bc I had to interrupt a other customers experience just to get some info as far as okay I would like an mani/pedi but the nail tech seemed irritated at me and basically would not look at me and just said we are too busy so it will be a long time before we can help you...she didnt say have a seat we will be with you ASAp, literally nothing so I just walked out. Second occurrence I walked in 45 mins before closing and they said they were about to close and I had to choose one service bc they ddint have time to do both a pedi and mani!?? They third occurnance I walk in 45 mins til close just for a pedi and they said oh we cant help you bc everyone here is about to go to a baby shower! Okay maybe you should change your hours of operation to 30 mins before you close! Terrible...

The quality has gone down while the prices continue to increase. Over $50 for a fill with shellac - I have found much better quality with lower prices elsewhere.

A week after getting dips, 2 nails are chipped and one is cracked all the way down the middle!! I can usually go 3 weeks between services. This was my first and last visit. The people were friendly but I don’t have the budget or time to get a $45 manicure, weekly.
