Horrible services. I ask for a polish change. Black shellac. One day later the color bubble so bad and started peeling. I go back, to have them fix it and waited ovee an hour to get sevice and she still didnt fix it. I will never ever go back...

I have been coming here for years and suggest this place to all my friends! they’re attentive and always do a wonderful job! it’s priced fairly well considering all the little things they do for you!

Place is nice. But they sure make you wait long. The technicians are very nice. I just wish the place was a bit more on the clean side. It be nicer. But for the price..I think Ill look somewhere else. A cleaner place. I had a powder dip manicure. The girl took like 1 hr and half. Paid 55. Plus 10 of tip.

I called to make an appt for a fill, they said they were not busy so I could just walk in. Walked in, and they were busy. Not a big deal. I waited and someone took my gel off for me. Pointed me to another guy a few minutes after. He was not in the slightest paying attention to me and just went to work. Filled my nails and shaped them not how I exactly wanted, again okay because I’m easy. I washed and looked at the acrylic fill. Many missed spots, uneven nails, two nails were missing so much acrylic that you could almost see my natural nail, and they were extremely sharp. I just had to get up and pay. I was not going to let someone who clearly didn’t care about his work finish them. I am a hairstylist and I was trained in acrylic nails so I know how they should look. I’ve also been getting acrylic nails for 8 plus years. I’m sure there may be so other technicians here that care about their clients but this is not a walk in friendly place that does quality work. I even tipped the guy because I was not there to complain about price, I just wanted a good fill. I’ve been searching for a nail place on this side of San Antonio for a while now and clearly I cannot find someone who takes pride in their work.

This place is terribly unprofessional. I came in and asked for a time lapse of the waiting period due to customers in front of me. They told me 30 minutes. After 30 minutes they started my pedicure because the design I wanted originally I asked for they said not everyone could do and I would have to wait. Half way through my pedicure before applying color I asked how much longer is the wait for me to get my full set done. I was then told there were 3 people in front of me. I did not allow them to apply polish to my nails because I could not stay for 3 clients to be worked on. They appeared to be steady but not terribly busy. I am very displeased as my first experience with this particular salon. The staff did not speak to the clients which and had conversations amongst themselves instead. Which I believe is very rude. I would not recommend this salon to anyone that I know. This will be my first and last experience at this specific salon.

Went to try this place out for the first time. Left completely disappointed. Paid for a pedicure, and the lady that did my pedicure did not bother cutting or reshaping my nails one bit.

The staff and my nail tech were friendly. I apparently got the new employee because he was moving slow and taking his time, which is completely fine. But a simple nail cut down and polish change should not take an hour and a half. Because they didnt think to put dividers between my toes, my big toes kept rubbing up against my other toes and coming off. I had to have my big toes repainted 3 times. The final time I got a piece of paper towel and put it in between them. Never received an apology, will definitely not be going back.

My daughter and I went to get pedicures. Signature $35. My feet still feel rough, my little toe wasnt painted all the way, my legs are sore from the horrible massage he gave me. It actually hurt. Then wanted to charge $15 dollars extra for shelac. I should have stayed on my side of town for $40 dollars, with shelac and the pedicure is way better. Lessoned learned will not be back. The only thing I liked was the massge chair and the blue color on my toes.

Went in for white tip nails and a pedicure, pedicure experience was great moved on to nails, one lady removed my polish told me Itd be 35 for white tips was changed to a guy, noticed the shape was off had already been there two hours whatever lets move on he couldnt get the white tip I wanted, whatever remove the white lets move on go to pay 50 bucks for my pedi 50 for poor quality nails smh dont waste your money or time here

Lol, No but really he fixed my nails a few weeks ago and I forgot to put a review but I had my nails done at another nail salon they were 4 days old &looked 2 weeks old and he did an amazing job at fixing them!!!!!! My sister in law recommended him and I’m going back to him again *the last picture is what the other nail tech did* obviously you can tell which ones are better. Thank you so much for fixing them!

My nails came out horrible. Customer service was also very bad, wasn’t offered anything to drink by my nail tech. Kevin Truong swore he was the best and did great nails. However, when it came to shaping my nails, the job was horribly done. Design was good, but a messed up shaped defeats the whole purpose. He showed me his work on FB and they were all long nails, they looked good. But he only showed me because I had already complained about the shape and length. So I just let him do his job, paid with a tip, and left.I would advice to go with a different nail tech especially if you want to go with shorter nails.Now I’m stuck with 70$ nails that I absolutely dislike. I will just stick with LV NAILS, which is located down the street. They have great customer service and complementary drinks! (2 per visit)

I just left this place! Learn how to care of your customer before opening a business.Too many bad things happening in there. I called at 11am and said I would come back at 4. They didn’t attempt to do an appointment. I arrived at the place at 3:40pm and it was full with people waiting. I accepted to wait and in less than 10 min they asked me to wait in the pedicure chair. I was offered to pick the colors (terrible selection) and left it on the side of the chair. After 10 min another staff member came and took it away without asking me if he could. I asked him to come back as I wanted to see the number one more time. He did a bad face and gave it back to me. When I offer to give it back to him he said terrible customer servicehe didn’t need it anymore. I stand up and left.

I have been going to this place for at least 2 years now and I keep going to them and Im frustrated because my shellac nail polish peels off, my nails are always breaking off, and chipping. I even wake up in the morning and my whole nail is off. Theres no reason my nails should fall off like that. I explained this to them giving them time after time and they have done nothing to help me but give me 5% off which was like $2 I think. So I decided to go to a different place and got my nails done to see if the problem was me or are the just not doing something right... and what do you know my nails didnt chip the shellac nail polish didnt peel off! So I ended up giving this place a last shot because I like to go to a regular spot and this time the guy rushed threw my nails and my nails were crooked and I kid you not a day later my nail chipped and the polish was peeling off. Im so frustrated, Im done with this place. It really is disappointing I have to find a new regular spot.

I WOULD HIGHLY APPRECIATE SOMEONE FROM THIS SALON GETTING IN TOUCH WITH ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I spent my whole evening there just to leave disappointed. I have many family & friends that attend this salon so I finally gave in because the weather has been horrible & after 4 hours of workers constantly coming over to discuss MY choice of nails I found out my total which completely took my breath. I wasn’t satisfied with the time it took to do such a simple set nor the experience. I left with one hanging nail & now all my fingers are sore & heavy beyond belief.

Omgosh they charged 100 for a set of nails1 eye braw wax and just dipped on my short nailsThe lady that stated my daughters nails was placing them All wrong! Then a guy had to redo them she cut my daughter fingers, my lady was filing them and was just filling them 2-3 at a time, then as she was liling with machine all my fingers hurt and have raw skin as well as my daughters.never again then she brushed some oil on my fingers and she said rub on hands oil good for you all my hands turned red!!! Lol never again i will not recommend this place!!!

This was my first time visiting Gloss, so far so good! The guy doing my nails was very nice and thorough, he took his time to make sure my nails were perfect!! Look at that perfect polish!!!! I will definitely be back!!

They dilute their gel polish with [too much] acetone (per their own mouth) which gives me unnecessary issues. I’ve always gotten the dual set where it’s gel on my nails and regular polish on my feet.The first time I went in, the colors didn’t match even though they came from the same set. I asked them to make my finger nails darker to match my toes and after a little bit of back and forth, they agreed. (Posted both the before photo and after she had to add THREE more coats to match the regular polish from its own set)On my second visit, I had black gel on all nails except ONE (it was orange) within a few hours the BLACK polish was already peeling. I’m over this place.Sidenote: I did love Moon as my nail technician both times but the diluted polish bothers me and that’s not something she can fix herself. So...I’ve got to find another home.

I always enjoy doing my nails here. Everyone is always so nice and they make everyone feel comfortable. My nail tech is Bo he never disappointments always does a GREAT job. But dont get me wrong the other people are just as good. I always get compliments on how beautiful my nails are and always am proud to say where I get them done at. They also have a reward program that you can use the points. Thank you for doing a good job.

I asked for a set with the dip powder. Im not sure if they used something else or used the dip powder but did it like regular acrylic. But the point is, they didnt do what I asked. I might as well have gotten regular acrylic in that case but I payed more because I wanted something better. Also he was super rough on my cuticles.

My experience was frustrating.I was looking forward to just relaxing and getting my nails done but it was anything but that, I got my nails done with “Mike” I wanna say I’m not to sure if that was his name but from the time I sat down he was already being rude. He asked what I wanted and I told him just a WHITE TIP!! He was acting like I asked him to do something impossible he was explaining to me and was telling me that “I didn’t get it” like who says that to someone paying money for the services? My natural nails were somewhat long so I told him he could cut them, when he was cutting them he would clip a little part and pull the rest I’ve gotten my nails done before plenty of times and that has never happened!!He proceeded to put the white tips on and was still telling me “ I didn’t get it” like I’m telling you I want a certain idea and I’m set on it so just do it if I’m paying for it like thanks for the advice but no thanks.He was talking in Chinese to the guy next to him and I know he was talking about my nails because the other guy would look at my nails and laugh like what is so funny? They’re not even the same length, size, and air bubbles.I’m so disappointed because I haven’t gotten my nails done in so long and was looking forward to doing them just to get this. It was seriously so unprofessional.Never going back!!!!

Not impressed. I didnt mind the initial wait but after I got my pedicure they made me wait a long time to get my nails done and even let those that walked in after me get theirs before me. My pedicure was ok and my skin wasnt as soft as normal. They over charged me for my solar set even though I was told wasnt getting extra service. My nails are a little uneven and the person that did my nails did not lotion my hands, put oil on nails and did not get excess polish off my hands. If you are going to charge me more you better give premium service. Wont be going back.**** Update... Within 1 week my nails started becoming unglued and looked like I had them for 3 weeks and needing fills! All that money wasted. My daughters nails chipped within 2 days and her nail bed is damaged and all I requested was a kids manicure. Ridiculous! Worst salon Ive been to. Save your money and your nails go somewhere else.

The man that did my nails was so angry because he was asked to wake up. I got a dip done and he did not do a base coat. He was not consistent in anything he was doing. He dumped the polish on my fingers. And didn’t even ask me to wash my hands. I paid and left and will never go back!

Nice staff but quality of the products might be poor. Pedicure polish was a pinkish color and began to chip within a few days. Went to another shop to have it redone and he said they must not have used a base because my nails actually had a pinkish tint and the polish chipped off.

Took my daughter to get a full set and the guy had the shakes the entire time. Maybe he had too much caffeine?? He was very quick and usually thats a good thing but in this case not so much. He was not thorough. He didnt measure the nails to make sure they were all the same length and the thickness of the nails were thin on some and thick on the others. On top of that the thumbs were 2 different shapes. :/ We will not return.

The lady was nice but i went to get a pedicure i asked her forsquared shaped and couldn’t even do that for me made my toe nails soooo short and the paint job was not even good either i wouldn’t recommend it here.

Nina did a good job. She paid attention to detail and gave good advise on how to select color. The other lady who did my feet nail polish was not so good. She did a mistake and was hoping I would say everything was fine. When I showed her where nail polish was missing. She was not very happy. My son who went with me had a good pedi by someone else. But when he asked for flip flops to go get his eye brows waxed (wanting to still enjoy the feeling from the pedi) they weren’t offering so I asked and they insisted he put in his tennis shoes. What’s the problem with asking continuation on getting serviced. He’s still a paying customer for continuous services.

The worst nail salon when it comes to customer service. They charge you for products and services you didn’t ask for and did not used. The first couple times they seem to be very careful with your manicure and pedicure then after that they rush you in then out and do a sloppy job. The owner is by far the rudest person I’ve dealt with and will argue with you when asked if you like it and you say no. I was publicly humiliated when I challenged what they charged me for and I didn’t receive when they said I just didn’t want to pay for my bill. They bullied me into paying then bullied me with other customers who came in after, one being a friend of mine who got up and left after telling them they should be ashamed of themselves.

They do a fantastic job and I will definitely be returning in the future

*UPDATEI gave 5 stars the first time but this 2nd time, HORRIBLE, I paid for gel polish, they scammed me my nail chipped and started lifting not even 2 days later. LOL not coming back. ITS INFECTED AND SWOLLEN AND IVE TRIED EVERYTHING IN THE BOOK THAT I COULD DO TO MAKE IT GO AWAY AND NOW THE PAIN DOCTOR THAT I WORK FOR IS STATING IM GOING TO HAVE TO GET A I AND D PROCEDURE TO DRAIN ALL THE PUSS OUT! My friend recommended me to come here so I came in at 7:40 and they said they were closed? but had a sign that said open never again I made a trip over here and wasted my time coming here for nothing!

**DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON** They do not care about there customers!!! My daughter and I gave them so much business and they didn’t care we weren’t important. I would make appointments in advance and they would get canceled or if I called to schedule one there was always an excuse. They don’t know what customer service is they expect there customers to get there nails done when it is convenient for them. I made an appointment in advance with my nail tech and I showed up 15 min early started soaking my nails and it wasn’t until I was there 30 minutes when the hostess or front worker came up and ask me if the nail tech rescheduled. My nails were already soaked off and on top of that they didn’t offer me anything. Where is the manager or owner they are no where to be found. I didn’t get an apology nor did they offer for any one to do my nails since my nail tech could even bother to show up...I was very upset this is not how you should run business where employees are not responsible and can blow off customers because they have better things to do, cancel on customers hours before there appointments. I will never return and I will make sure I refer no one to this salon.

Idk where to begin, went in for a fill and to get my nails repainted. The guy rushed through it so quickly, my nails were a mess, missing paint and residue all under my set. I got home saw it in direct light & called back. They fixed the missing paint and glitter areas, but five days later one of my nails is already coming off. I wanted to like this place but this is the worse experience Ive ever had! The last set at a previous place lasted me almost a whole month! I will never be going back to this place again!

This story needs to be shared on why I will never use them. I was in there a few weeks ago with some friends (our first time). I had walked in behind a lady and her daughter who were trying to pay. From what I gathered she was being charged for a service that was done wrong on her daughters nails. I get misunderstandings occur however, the way the staff handled the situation was highly unprofessional. If YOU do the wrong service as a business and YOU admit it then the customer should NOT be charged for YOUR mistake. Yet, that’s what you did, charge her for YOUR mistake. You offered to correct it by soaking the nails of a young girl whose hands you just painted with the wrong shellac to then have to scrape her nails and repaint with the right one. Her mother stated that A) she didn’t want to put her daughter through that and B) that they had already been there for almost 2 hours so to wait for all that to happen again would have easily added another hour to them being there. So what do you do? You charge them anyways. My friends and I made the decision to walk out with that lady and NOT get any service from you. When we talked to the mother outside, what you failed to know was this mother has a severe back problem and was tired of being couped up in the home and wanted a quick outing to have some fun time with her little girl. So for her, your option of “fixing it” would have caused her more pain than anything. What really sealed your fate of losing my friends and I as customers is when the mother decided to review you on FB and you not only argued back but then have a client clearly stalk her FB and you used her personal business to continue to argue with her about how she rated your business. Not only argue but belittle her as a human being. I felt it my obligation and duty and set the record straight based on what I witnessed and what you had to say about this poor lady and her daughter. There wasn’t any yelling, she didn’t try to get out of paying, she simply didn’t allow you to take advantage of them without saying something. Shame on you gloss nails. You may do a semi decent job on nails but as human beings you are not nice people and not a business I could support because of it.
