I’m the pickiest nail woman ever & I love this place. It’s not fancy from the outside like so many other nail salons but they’re attention to DETAIL & quality is unmatched. I’m also extremely hard on my nails & they never seem to lift from this salon because they handle with care. Kristie’s excellent.

Best pedicure experience Ive ever had. I came on a walk-on basis today and was immediately taken care of. My toes were in DIRE need of attention, due to being 7 months pregnant and unable to reach my toes anymore! I chose the Herbal Pedicure which had multiple amazing massages and smelled fantastic as well. Ryan was my nail tech, and he was very nice and did a great job. My feet and lower legs are very happy now...plus my toes are now cute again! Will definitely come back again.

I have been here about a dozen times in the last year and they NEVER disappoint. The staff is kind, friendly and professional. Not just one but everyone, consistently does an amazing job. There is never a rush to get you out, the quality is great and it is so clean. A great environment to relax. The price can get high but completely worth every penny. I recommend going around payday and treat yourself to the minilux pedicure with a margarita ❣️

If you have just moved to San Antonio or are just here for work this is the place to go. I have been several times and the work that Mike and the crew does is so immaculate. I have been a happy customer several times over. I like that they listen and when you show a picture they are spot on image to what is on your nails. This has been the best nail and spa that I have been to.

Today was my first time visiting! I got dip on my natural nails and I love how they turned out! I didn’t catch the name of the girl who did them but she was very sweet and did a great job. I definitely plan to go back!

I came here after leaving my longtime nail tech and when I tell you this was the best decision ever! First of all there was no wait, the space is clean and very intimate. Lilly is my new forever tech and she gave me the best pedicure and manicure ive ever had! I literally couldn’t stop looking at my nails! I felt warm and welcomed I loved it so much I got my sister a gift card on the spot to get her nails done too! If you are thinking just stop and see for yourself ! I’d give 100 stars if I could ! New nail home !

I had a wonderful, first time experience this morning. I made an appointment via Facebook the day before which was easy and convenient. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and asked what I wanted done. As you can see by the photo, I got a gel manicure with pink polish (#074). The color was exactly what I wanted and the male nail tech who did my nails was very accommodating. The salon was also very clean which I appreciated. Although I live far from this location, I will definitely be back soon!

I’ve been coming here every month since I moved here a year ago. They recently remodeled and the store looks even better than it did before. The store is super clean and the staff is always professional and timely. I will continue to come back and get my Nu-Skin pedicure :)

I genuinely wanted to like this place, but i unfortunately wont be returning. I made an appointment and wasnt helped until an hour later. The staff didnt ask for my drink and when i finally requested one, they forgot. Then, my actual acrylic started lifting after 4 days and its because my nails werent preped(cleaned,cuticle pushed) properly. I went back to get them fixed at no charge but i wont be returning because of all of this

I’m a regular but this is my favorite nail place. I just moved to SA and I won’t go ANYWHERE else. I like how detailed they are. The staff is always really really nice. Those pedicures are something else. My favorite so far is the milk and honey. They use all natural products for them too. I mean like real milk and real honey and it smells so delicious. I like the constant discounts too. The drinks are also really good and they even offer food. I love the staff most of all though. They make you feel comfortable and I love coming to get my nails done to see them!

Ive heard about this place from a few people so I decided to treat myself and Im so happy I did! It is very clean, the staff and owner are all very nice and eager to please! They even stayed later just to accommodate me! To top it all off the prices are amazing! So if youre looking for a new salon definitely do yourself a favor and give them a try you wont be disappointed!

This was my first time visiting this nail salon and it was very relaxing. I got the Fuji pedicure and they used real fruits and it smelt amazing. The staff was so friendly and they even often a bunch of different cocktails that were delicious. I recommend the Sunrise! Definitely will be coming back.

I went to get an express pedicure with my sister. The guy rushed through my sisters while the girl working on me took her time. They seemed to have got after her. I decided to go again. I spent more and also had my finger nails done. I asked for French tips on my toes and they just painted the with tips with white smudges on the nails. The quality was horrible. I wish i knew how to post photos

The service was great. They greet you as soon as you walk in and they have menus of what color you want and what kind of service you are wanting. Alcoholic beverages are also available. Was a great mom treat.

Shellac manicure was left with streaks on each nail. Didnt notice until I was outside in the sun. They offered to fix, but I didnt have time. Manicure last less than 1 week.

The staff at Athena’s are so welcoming. The first time I visited this place was to get an eyebrow wax and they did an amazing job. Today, I came in to get a basic pedicure and I loved that they took their time and allowed my feet to soak in water for a decent amount of time. Definitely recommend.

This is my first time visiting Athena Nails & Spa. The staff is very friendly. They offer you both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages made by a bartender they have on staff. He is also very friendly. I had a pedi from Tony, he is professional, funny, and tries very hard to make you happy and comfortable. This salon is VERY clean and also aesthetically pleasing. I can’t wait for my next pedi with Tony.

My daughter and I went to get our nails done and ended up being there for over two hours. We were two of three patrons there at the time and there was more than enough staff. The people were nice enough but the customer service was not great. This was the first time I have ever paid to have my nails done but had to remove the previous myself. They had us soak them in acetone and scrub them with paper towels until it was all gone. There was music on but it was not anything we were familiar with, the t.v. was on a menu screen the entire time we were there. It made the time drag on. The employees kept stopping to chat among themselves periodically. The end result was mostly okay. I did have a lot of excess color around my nail beds that I had to take off afterwards. Overall, not a great experience. We will not go back.

My friend and I planned to come as walkins but they were booked since everyone is off for MLK, so we made an appt and came back. I got dipping powder and my friend got tips with shellac. It took a little while but the finished product is great, the staff was professional and friendly and they serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks! We talked to another girl that was there for a mani and a pedi and she recommended the milk and honey pedicure. I plan to try it when I have a bit more time.

This is my GO-TO nail salon! Katie and Linh are my girls for a mani/pedi!! Every time I go there, they are always so welcoming. Complimentary drinks are included. They never disappoint and ALWAYS do a clean job. I like that they are always asking me to make sure I want a certain length or color. I wasnt sure about a color and Katie offered to try it on one nail to see if I like it which I appreciated because some nail techs Ive experienced in the past wouldnt even bother to ask me. Linh also is so friendly and always is precise! Definitely recommend this nail salon!Jo
