The people here are so sweet & the atmosphere was calm. But, my nails are shaped terrible and I really wanted to like them so bad but look cmon I spent 75$ for this I wanted to say something when I was leaving but I was in a rush already because it took awhile. My nails have little bubbles & the nail polish is just coming off & it’s been a couple hours.

They did a beautiful job. A pedi, eyebrow was and nails took me about an hour and a half and theyre BEAUTIFUL! Andrew does a beautiful free hand design! Love!!!💖💅

Paid $70 for this. I have never paid that much for short nails. I usually get a lot longer for less. They charged me extra for the nail design that they offered, all I said was that I wanted them short I didn’t care what color. The color is fine but the nail design itself & shape isn’t all that & I wouldn’t have paid extra for it. My cousin got long stiletto nails with a nail design & got charged LESS. That makes no sense.Besides that pedicures were amazinggggg. Just wouldn’t come back for the acrylic nails. Thanks.

Sooo happy I found this place!!! After a bad experience on my daughter’s 18th birthday in June (at a different salon) we decided to find OUR place and Luxx Nail Bar is it. From the great service (our nail tech and pedicure tech are superb!) to the chandelier, music 🎶, and the overall welcoming decor. We don’t plan on going anywhere else.

I had a terrible experience this visit. I often come to this salon and Vicky is always on top of the technicians ensuring they do great work. However, this trip was different and Vicky apparently no longer works there I was told. My boyfriend was waiting for 2 hours to get a pedicure and they burned his leg and made his toe bleed . My technician told me I was taking too long to decide on a color and then put the wrong size nails on my hand. Then we had to call the manager who only offered my boyfriend 10% off, not me. He was very rude and I am very disappointed as I was a loyal and long time customer, my nails do not look good and was not worth $120. Will not be returning and will be looking for a new salon. Very sad. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They messed up my nails.if you see in the picture where half my nail isn’t even painted. They offered to fix it and said they were tired and had to go home.

Luxx Nail Bar has been my go to place since day one. My first time I tried a dip service with them and it lasted for about 2-3 weeks. Other places I’ve tried last barely a week. I have always left super satisfied with their quality of service. Staff is respectful and kind. Highly recommend for your mani and pedi needs.

I was assisted by a nail tech by the name of Vicky and she is excellent!!!! As always exceptional service!!! I will try to upload pics along with this review. I love this nail shop! Vicky removed a whole entire set and did a complete new set and it looks very professional and clean! I can’t stand for my polish to look bumpy as well as thinly coated. I’ve very satisfied with my set and as usual will be returning!! The large variety of products paired with the great talented staff it’s worth the wait and price! Once again, I left very satisfied! Ive been reading a lot of reviews and ofc everyone will not leave SATISFIED!!! Maybe this is not the right fit for everyone. But, everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinions. Im not as picky as long as I receive good quality work, so far every tech that has worked on my manicures, fills or whole sets, each one took their time and did awesome work! No cuts, no dry cuticles, no disrespect and they are very in tuned with safety procedures in regards to the current pandemic. I think what many customers experience; the behavior of the staff may come off as rude but you have to be aware of our cultural differences, respectively. What some may find disrespectful, the staff doesnt. And no, they shouldnt have to conform to our standards as long as nothing was done maliciously or on purpose. You do have the right to voice your concerns and not to tip nor ever return. Ive been getting my nails done for many years now and Ive had my share of bad moments but in my case I havent received any negative treatment from this business and staff! I will continue to do business with them as it is extremely difficult to find a good nail tech that does exactly what you ask for or even better suggestions! Until I personally experience anything negative they will continue to be my FIRST go to place for my nails and nail art! What can I say? They NAILED it🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣 P.S~The services can be a tad bit pricey but its well worth it. If youre looking for cheaper prices over quality then youre gonna get exactly what you paid for. And if youre not satisfied then let them know, theres no way Im paying for anything that Im not happy with, Ive learned a hard lesson keeping my opinion to myself of bad work. They will fix it until they get it right and you are satisfied. Other than that Im GREAT!!! Ive been rocking this set in the photos for over two weeks now! My fingers are dry after just showering, with a little cuticle oil they look brand new and Ive gotten a ton of compliments!!!

Posting a update on what i just got done. Okay so when i asked about the ombre nails the guy said it would be $55 but if i wanted shellac it would be $10 more and the shape would be $5. I guess since covid they charge for length now. My girlfriend posted pics of her nails theyre black with white marble and they never told her they would charge her extra for length. The guy didnt tell me the prices for length because i was already gonna get them short. Theyre definitely not losing out on business thats for sure so I dont see why they charge extra for everything. This place has their ups and downs. My girlfriend and her friend couldnt wait in the waiting area but for some reason they let others and the people that were waiting werent wearing masks. There was a couple ahead of us and they never told the boyfriend to leave just let them sit down.

My first time coming here wanted a manicure and a pedicure, but definitely had miscommunication with my nail tech. I wanted a gel manicure on my natural nails, but she ended up putting on fake nails. I figured since it was my birthday I should just go ahead and see how they turn out. She did ok, but I wasnt happy with how they turned out. I had shown her a picture of how I wanted my nails, but to me she missed the mark. She made me late for an event I needed to be at early. I hurried up and paid, and got out of there as quickly as I could. I wont be returning even though I should because of how much money I spent on something I dont even care for.

$50 pedicure for shellac. Cuticles are super rough, nails not shaped at all, my big toe is already throbbing in pain and chipped from the aggressive pedicure. The service was terrible. This was the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. I can’t believe my nail is chipped and all I’ve done is drive home. Now I need to soak my feet in hydrogen peroxide. Thanks guys!Just to provide an update thanks for checking but I indeed have the right place and I will NOT be returning. After being disrespected and now INFECTED.

Love this place!! Havent been here in a long while and omg it is still magnificent!! I came with my bestest to have a little pampering session. When we walked in we were greeted and told to check in, we were offered drink options (complimentary) and the atmosphere and staff are very uplifting and friendly! Horrible service both my manicure and pedicure were rushed the work came out horrible even let them do my browsalso big mistake smh. So disappointing being my first time here and all and given the high ratings. the lady that did my nails was obviously rushing and so was the guy that did my pedi im disappointed. Ive had plenty of pedicures done to know the routine of a good pedicure, and its been years since I got a manicure so I was excited to get my nails done. But this was my after work. Normally before the final coat of polish they would have you wash your hands. Didnt even do that. By far the worst experience Ive had. And I even tipped them to. I never post reviews but this was one I had to review on. Not saying that all the nail techs did work like this but the ones that had me, horrible.

My FAVORITE place to take my grandmother and I to get our toes done, I do not care much for nails but they seem to have very satisfied customers every time. Super friendly, great at massaging, especially since i am pregnant it feels great on my feet, and I feel their prices are reasonable. I leave relaxed and happy with myself every time, I will not go any other place, this is my go to spot.

Took my girlfriend here a week and half ago and look at her nails. Paid a decent amount of money here for this to happen. Called the salon and they said its only good for one week. Wow 1 week most places are 2 weeks and I seen on here the owner says 10 days. Hmm lools like Im taking my business elsewhere.

I wanted to try a new place so I walked in And there was someone to greet me which I liked. I signed up on an iPad and chose what services I wanted.I took my daughter with me because she wanted to get her nails painted too. She is three years old. We went to go look at the nail polishes and I had her choose a color then I had her hold it. I chose my shellac color and we went to go have a seat. My daughter is very calm and she was standing up while we were waiting. I was sitting down and we were just conversing. I could feel the young girl staring at me and I was wondering if I was going to be next. But it wasnt giving me a good feeling. Then the next thing I knew it she walked up to me and took the shellac nail color sampler And the nail polish bottle from my daughter. I was a bit confused as to why she did that but then I let it go. I started looking around and noticed that other people had their colors chosen also. So I walked up and the shorter older woman approached me So I asked her was I not supposed to Hold on to the color that I wanted. And she rudely told me that she didnt want my daughter breaking her nail polishes so I needed to choose a color and just let her know what I wanted. I told her she shouldve told me that from the beginning instead of being rude and taking it away from me. I felt very offended at this because my daughter wasnt acting wild. And she took the nail color sample from me also . She hadnt said Anything previously to me about holding the nail polish. She just walked up to me and took them from me which I found extremely rude. I will not be patronizing this nail salon!

They DO NOT prioritize appointments. I made an appointment 1 week in advance for an event I had coming up. Waited 30mins PAST my appointment time and still wasn’t helped so I left. Meanwhile they took care of walk-ins while I waited. Appointments should always have priority!

The salon was really busy and it was a Monday. I am from out of town and took a chance. Luckily I hit the jackpot. Asked if I wanted a drink when I sat down. Decided on a full set of nails with magnetic color and a paraffin wax pedicure. Kevin did my nails and another male did my toes. Couldnt be happier with my results. Will definitely be my go to when I come back to San Antonio. Oh and 10 day guarantee if a nail chips or breaks!!!

Not the best experience because they always end up changing my nail design if they do not feel like doing it or over pricing it. My last set I had to go back next day because I lost a nail due to wrong tip placement. This time I had to ask to fix the glued nail tip because it was really bad glued.

I came in without an appointment during the peak of the pandemic. They attended me quickly and promptly. When we came in we were required a temperature test, to wash hands and sanitize. They are social distancing and have screens for every customer including at the pedicure section. I was very satisfied with their cleanliness.I came in for a simple gel manicure/pedicure which lasted me a very long time and came out beautifully. I’ll definitely come back whenever I visit SA!

This was the worst ever i have been coming for years and after this visit I will no longer come here i came with my daughter so we can do our nails together and i had to wait for 45 min so she can tell me i will get my nails done at a different time me and my daughter came in together and its now an hour later and i still havent even done my nails so im not going to get them done wish she would of told me that before so that me and my daughter could of gone somwhere else mind you 3 other people went in front of me why because there picking and choosing who they want well i send alot of people over here not anymore thats messed up good luck soon no one will be coming here

Waited a hour and a half, when I walked in to sign in lady said it would be 30 to 40 minute wait. Then lady called me after waiting almost an hour I went inside where I proceeded to wait another 25 minutes and A chair for no one to help me. I have nails on so they could have at least started soaking them if I was just going to be sitting there for almost 30 minutes, I just feel like poor customer service so probably wont be back.

I’ve been going to this location for the past year and TAN is always requested by me he’s such a great nail tech I always get compliments on my nails because of his work! The location is always clean organized and they’re staff is friendly and welcoming offering drinks and services

Some are really good some are really bad. Ceck your receipt they may try to over charge for services provided. Ive had this happen twice. Basic tip with pedicure is well over 100 dollars

Got pedicure. The main reason i get them is for calluses. She used the rasp for maybe 1 minute total between both feet. Wife says they messed up painting one of her toes and instead of doing it over they just painted over it. I went and got a proper pedicure elsewhere the next day. Waste of money.

Massage felt great during the pedicure. First time I have ever gotten a pedicure done, and will definitely come back for more. Nails were done super quick, and the nail tech paid attention to the nails being straight and even and I really appreciated that because Ive always had techs who rush through and dont care how even they are, and if they arent Ill pick at them or fix them myself (and whats the point of paying for my nails to be done if I end up having to fix them at home?) Greeted when I walked in, and the place was pretty and well decorated with food and snacks and drinks, and LOTS of colors/designs to choose from. Will be getting my next set done here and I already have them picked out!

I had an awesome tech named Wendy. I had old dip removal and new colored dip applied. She was calm and patient. She really took her time and was so thorough. Definitely gonna schedule with her in 2 weeks!

Andrew was great! I had black originally and wanted orange for my new color. We both knew it probably wouldnt work but he really did try anyways. Instead he recommended another dark color which turns out I love! Looks great and it matches fall colors right now.My daughter also had her first manicure and they made it special by letting her pick out a sticker to add to her color on each hand. She was so happy and cant wait to do it again. We will definitely be going back.

This place gave me fungus on my nails!. Called this place to see if they could remove the rest to see if I had fungus on my other nails and I was willing to pay to get them off. The lady who answered the phone was very disrespectful and told me they could not remove them because I did not have the printed receipt and that they were not going to do anything about it.But I have my bank statement as proof I got my nails done at this place. I was not asking for a free service or a new set for free. I just wanted them off. I did already reported them because what they did was not sanitary and professional.

Ridiculous first time and last time. i. got steven because i saw him doing a good job on another customer but when i got him he did not care he kept getting up and talking. he was in the back for more than 15 minutes eating and talking and he comes back and tells me what. literally a waste of time!

The staff was rude. I was helping and older black woman when I noticed the young lady helping her was not explaining or helping her out. It had been 8 years since the lady had a pedicure/manicure. I chose the Deluxe pedicure and they half-fast it and the nail paint has smears. Not impressed at all. I only went because I received a gift card and will never go back.

It was my first time there today, and I absolutely loved it! My nail tech was Hayden and he was very nice and took really good care of me. The atmosphere of the whole salon is very relaxing and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back!!! (Plus they have a 2 week guarantee if your nails chip or if the rhinestones fall off they will fix it)

The social distancing and guards they placed made it really safe. Henry was the one that did my nails and I haven’t had them done in a while so he was very patient with me and what exactly I was wanting. After not being satisfied with the set I had previously and being charged $95 the nail tech was nice enough to correct the mistakes from another nail tech he cleaned up the nails and reshaped them with cutting around the cuticles at no charge. Of course a well deserved tip was given. I do not recommend getting assigned a new tech.

I went to this salon after a bad experience at another place. Tan redid a full set for me, and did a wonderful job! He was very detailed and made sure my nails were perfect in every way before I left. Even in a pandemic they were quick to get me in, and the service was quick as well. I’ve been coming here for 4 months now never had any issues but my last visit the other day was horrible. The guy did a horrible job on my set, didn’t even do my cuticles until he was going to take a picture of his work and noticed how bad they looked and then cleaned them up. Charged me 75$ for a rushed unprofessional set.Update all my nails have lifted off except 4 most of them ripping my nail with them. I’m so sad and disappointed with the job the tech did. Obviously he did not prep my nails correctly I’ve never had them all lift
