Went to chart house expecting a beautiful view and delicious food. Unfortunately the experience was nothing close to what I expected. Our appetizer came out looking good however was cold in temperature. Ordered a chart house combo which included a salad which came out 20 minutes late, was wilty and 1 minute before the main entrees came out. Main entrees were prime rib and sea bass both of which came out at cold to lukewarm temperature. Can you image getting a COLD steak entrees delivered to your table in a restaurant??The only hot/warm food we had was an order of sizzling mushroom. 😬Needless to say it was not what should be expected when you pay the prices listed on the menu($40-50). If you charge 4 star prices then you should deliver 4 star service. On the elevator down, another couple said that their steak was also cold too.Landrys really needs to look at the management on improving the overall satisfaction of the food and service. As a result, we will not return. The 1 start is for the view.
Giving this place a solid 5* review. The view alone is worth it, and the food is pretty good and not as pricey as I was expecting. Even better was the chef, after hearing someone in my party had allergies, he ran right out and asked questions. He was more than happy to accommodate, and went way above and beyond. The waiter was fantastic and attentive. It seemed like they genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great time.
Its too expensive for me to do often, but then I wouldnt want the experience to become passé. I came here for lunch, sat at the bar. The bartender was delightful and served intriguing and delicious variations of traditional drinks. Ever had elderflower tonic? Chart House has combination meals that are a great value, allowing you to get smaller portions of several delicious things. For lunch I had a cup of clam chowder and a lovely pan fried chicken breast with asparagus and potatoes. Both were out of this world, just like the view.
My husband surprised my son and I for a Family Date Day and we came for lunch. In addition to incredible views, the staff was very friendly and professional. The food was delicious, one of the best Salmon salads Ive had. My sons kids meal was more than enough and my husbands French dip was Amazing! We started with the spinach dip and from there I knew we were in for a treat. Dessert... OMG ... fried banana split with 3 incredible ice cream flavors. Will definitely be back.
Certainly a experience to remember! It was disorienting, but I thought slowly spinning in the Tower of the America’s was really cool. Not to mention the views were lovely! As for the food, my Beyond Burger was amazing! That bun was so soft and delicious with sort of a biscuit-like texture. I have to know what kind of bun it is! Our server (I think his name was Justin?) was so helpful, bubbly, and an all-around lovely person. Certainly wasn’t judgmental towards the two in our party who wanted to order off of the kids menu despite not being children. One of my party got a hot chocolate lava cake that we all shared, which was divine! The server then heard us mention that my mom’s birthday was the day before, so he gave her a free slice of cheesecake! The sweet potato fries needed more seasoning and the cheesecake was just fine, but overall I would certainly come back for dinner sometime! (I was there during lunch)
Amazing experience all a round, as you rotate 360 degrees around as you dine! The food was amazing send cooked to perfection. Key lime pie was divine. The service was spot on! If you ever go, definitely head to the observation deck for a bit history and breath taking views! Manned elevator with a view as you rise 700 ft up! An amazing piece of innovation history, built in the 60s for World Fair!
We had a great experience here. First off, the view was really nice. Being able to see San Antonio while dining was relaxing. The food though, it exceeded my expectations! I had the Artichoke + Spinach Dip for an appetizer, my entree was the Bistro Veggie Burger, and for dessert, we had the Hot Chocolate Lava Cake. They all tasted really good. I plan to come back here when I’m in town.
Such a fun experience to be so high up and see the beautiful view! The rotating platform on the top floor was very unique and created a feeling like the city was moving around the tower. Since I went during the day, I didn’t get to see the city at night but the interior was marvelous. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Food is not pricey, overall i like the experience.
Had the Teriyaki steak and calamari. Food was amazing! Drinks not strong enough for the price. My waitress was nice but idk if she was working several tables, but it took a while for her to make her way back to my table a few times. Oh, and them elevators take TOO LONG 😩! I was afraid my sister was going to catch me with her cake and balloons before I could get to the table to set up.
Was very excited to go to the top of the towers to view the San Antonio sunset while having a great meal. I had the lobster bisque, prime rib, and lava cake. The meal was mediocre. Barely any lobster in bisque. Overcooked prime rib. Lava cake with no lava. Its okay, but if youre looking for a foodie experience, this is NOT IT. If youre looking for a tourist experience, THIS IS IT.Beautiful sunset though.
This was an amazing experience to sit at the window side and able to see the entire city while you eat. The first level of the restaurant rotates so that you can see everything without having to get up. Downside is there was very little Air Conditioning, and when it is 94°F outside plus the heat from the kitchen, it gets really hot. The food was great and the service wonderfully attentive. There was the lack of light at the table to eat for some reason. But I improvised by turning on my phones flashlight and taking the battery operated candle they had out of the colored bowl they were using and turned it down on top of the phone, which proved to be more than enough light to read the menu and eat by. I had seen other tables struggling with the same thing using their phones to read the menu and eat. Hopefully it was just a fluke and they fix these two issues.
Awesome breathtaking views of San Antonio city. Great service and delicious food. Convenient parking. Lobster bisque and clam chowder soups are expectacular. Salmon was great, steaks very good too, appetizers with a very unique presentation, lava cake is delicious too. Worth every penny. Great for family and couples. You get admission to the observatory. Great experience.
Friendly service and great views of Downtown San Antonio from above. The lunch options are sufficient and were delicious! The presentation on my Coconut Battered Shrimp exceeded my expectations and was complimented with a tasty coconut dipping sauce. Eating here at Chart House and visiting the Tower of Americas is a place you will have to experience once in a lifetime. Hope to visit here again in San Antonio and maybe try their dinner offerings.
I went to dinner with my family yesterday to celebrate my fathers birthday & the experience was phenomenal! We did make reservations in advance to avoid any wait time which is definitely recommended for this place. This was not our first time dining here, but it was our first visit since this covid era commenced. I want to especially thank our server, Chris, for exceptional service. He was attentive, had a wonderful personality, great humor, and made excellent recommendations. For starters, we ordered the Artichoke & Spinach Dip and this was surprisingly delicious. Tip: they have both regular tortilla chips & fresh chips made in-house so be sure to try them both out! For entrees we ordered the Peach Bourbon Glazed Scallops & Shrimp (absolutely delicious!), Maple & Ginger Glazed King Salmon (also delicious!), NY Strip with garlic mashed potatoes (yummy!), Chart House Cut Roasted Prime Rib (not the prettiest dish but very tasty!), & the Paneed Chicken (this one unfortunately disappointed). Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our meal. The view is incredible and really takes this experience to a new level since it is like no other dining experience. I greatly appreciated them allowing me to bring in a cake we had custom made. Chris brought it out for us at the end of our dinner with candles lit so we could sing happy birthday to my father & it was perfect! We very much enjoyed every aspect of the night & will certainly be back.
Honestly not what I expected. There is no dress code even though they advertise it. Its not an upscale fine dining restaurant. Its no delfrisco or davios. You pay alot of money for very average food. You actually pay for the view. However, the service was extraordinary absolutely professional. The views are spectacular.
Really nice restaurant and a good experience to try for the views. We went right before sunset so we had the day and night view went for my mother-in-law‘s birthday and had reservations still had to wait about 15 minutes before we sat down and the service was great. Was kind of disappointed because two of the items we didn’t really want to try we’re unavailable. 45 minutes to an hourIs the amount of time it took to circle around and eat.
My husband ordered the paneed chicken and I ordered the filet mignon. The steak was cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor and we both loved the garlic mashed potatoes, although it was a bit too salty for my liking, so I would maybe ask for less salt in the future. We also had the artichoke & spinach dip, which was one of the best spinach dips I’ve ever had! We finished with the hot chocolate lava cake, which was divine! Brooke was our waitress and she did a wonderful job! ⭐️The only reason(s) I took off a star - is I was surprised you had to pay for the dessert, even when celebrating something (I guess I’m not used to that), and the elevator took awhile when we were ready to leave. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and will be back!
It was a great experience for multiple reasons. The restaurant rotates as you get many different views throughout the course of your meal. The service was outstanding - very attentive but not overbearing. The portions are on the smaller side but yet leaving you a full feeling which is to be expected with fine cuisine. My main course was delicious, meaty asparagus to the perfectly cooked salmon, flavors well balanced with texture. Following this very filling feast, I was able to enjoy a scrumptious dessert of Lava cake .All in all it certainly was a great experience and a fantastic culinary journey.A must for anyone visiting San Antonio. Cant beat the spectacular panoramic view.
We made it a tradition two years ago to come each year for our anniversary. This year we went 3 days early due to my work schedule and as always the foods very good. We both had the prime rib and the bottle of wine we got paired well with it. We actually ended up getting more bottles at Specs afterwards! The only reason why they received four stars was because it was very cold in the restaurant. The amount of money they rake in you would think that they would be able to turn the heat on.
The food was good, a bit over priced for the quality, but youre paying for ambiance. It is a great place if youve never been, just for the expierience of seeing the city. The service was meh, with the food coming out at strange times. The kids meal and 1 entree came out before the soups of the other 2 entrees. The last 2 entrees came out 50 mins after ordering. It took 15 mins to get some ketchup for the kids meal.
Took my fiancé here for her Birthday. It was our first time visiting. We made reservations but it was still a wait. It’s a wait for the elevator and it’s hot. The setting it intimate but make sure to request a window seat to enjoy the experience. Out waitress was great and also sang happy birthday with me. She suggested items and knew about them. Overall okay experience.
We were disappointed that happy hour specials was only at the bar, even though same drinks and appetizers are on the menu. The bread was nice and hot. The food was delicious and so was the dessert, the wait times were long. I recommend placing your dinner order when you place your appetizer order and your dessert order when your dinner is served.
The Sea Bass I had shined through as the main event. With the rotating backdrop of San Antonio making the atmosphere second to none. My fish was sautéed to a nice crispy golden brown and baked to perfect. My vegetable couscous was perfectly done and all the vegetables blended well. Food should be allowed to present itself, and at Charter House, the food is no exception.
This place is amazing! We arrived hoping we could eat at their restaurant not knowing anything. We asked the staff, who informed us that if you want to eat on the spinning part of the restaurant you need a reservation because it is always booked, but the bar area is first-come-first-serve, and serves the same food as the restaurant. We arrived at around 5:30pm on a Saturday and the bar was practically empty. Our mixologist, Angel, was fantastic, she was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about her craft. We watched the sun set over the city from the bar as what I can only describe as breathtakingly beautiful. The food was delicious, I recommend the shrimp and crab fondue for the appetizer. I would love to come back here one day and eat on the spinning part of the restaurant.
Unique experience. Service is friendly. We arrived at two, which is the same time they stopped serving lunch but our server gave us the lunch menu anyways. Prices are steep but youre paying for the scenery. Lunch for four with a dessert was approx $100. The meal came with a trip to the observation deck. Going up to the deck was okay but the line for the return elevator took forty minutes. Hardly anyone was wearing masks. Probably should have gone after sunset to see the city lights.
A review for what it is. Being located at the top of the tower of the americas and revolving three hundred and sixty degrees for a magnificent view of the city, it is more of an experience rather than just a nice place to eat. Although the food is both high quality and delicious, the ultimate appeal is their breathtaking view of the city and their immaculate service.
Great view. Would visit again, but dont expect a truly upscale experience. Definitely a great tourist stop thats air conditioned & slightly classier than the Riverwalk, but wouldnt choose it for the food alone.
I took my fiance here for her birthday, she loved it. You cannot get these views from anywhere else, so you find yourself along with the others always looking out the windows. We had ordered drinks, my Fiance got the Ultimate Margarita, she said it was really good. I ordered the Bloody Mary and it was also really good that we each ordered the drinks again. For food we each ordered steaks. I got the NY strip and she ordered the filet mignon. Both were really good and a large cut. I had ordered mine medium rare and she ordered hers well done. Now my steak did come out over cooked but I kept it because it tasted really good and I almost finished it. Her steak was perfect for her she said. It was her birthday so I had ordered the lava cake and they even put a candle on it. The lava cake was also really good. We walked out of there full and content. This place is for those special occasions and the prices reflect that along with the views. I will still give this place 5 stars. The waiter we had was Nathaniel and he was friendly and attentive, he did a great job of making it special for my Fiance, Thank you Nathaniel!
Service was exceptional while the food actually exceeded the service was phenomenal. To top it all off the views are godly.
Wonderful environment with the view of the city, on the top of the tower rotating with mild music.
We went here recently and had an AMAZING experience. The ambience, food and service were great. The chocolate dessert was okay but all other dishes were very good. Highly recommended for someone who wants to try something new!!
Very nice birds eye views and delicious food. 👍🐦🙂
Walked in and the stench of grease lingered all over the place. That tells me they don’t wipe down surfaces. Food was good but it’s hard to eat when your smell and taste buds are taking in grease and dust. Our booth wasent properly clean. It’s very unpleasant to eat in a place where your table cloth is caked with dust. There were 2 dead flies and a moth on the edge near the window. Waiter Chris was awesome nothing bad on service. But please please please clean your restaurant so customers can have a clean dining experience!
Came to celebrate our 15 yrs anniversary. We will be back for another visit at the bar they seem to have a better appetizer selection. The menu is limited still due to covid no doubt. The non alcoholic drinks where amazing.
Outstanding food. Outstanding service. Outstanding view.
Enjoyed everything about this, the view is amazing, the food was will prepared and tasty. Our server was amazing. Will definitely go again. I had the Calamari, lobster bisque and the mixed seafood grill (pictured)
View was the best part. Got there at 615 and was able to see the daylight, sunset and night. Within 2 hours. The food was gross we got the calamari, and seabass. Would not recommend. Also saw other people not happy with their food as well.
Got the coconut shrimp for an app. Very good with three different dipping sauces. The monarch margarita was also very good. The entree was the Mahi Mahi with green beans. It was cooked to perfection and served with rice and green beans. The view was awesome!
Amazing food, great service, and breathtaking views! The food below was steak and lobster/ shrimp carbonara.
The food is bland but is very nicely presented. The view out the window is what brings the crowds. The weather outside was 32 and the building couldnt keep up. My girlfriend and I were very cold. The couple next to us said the same thing very uncomfortable. The service was good 👍 I wish it was better for all the effort that you have to make to go. Parking was $15. The food was pricey as expected at a high end restaurant no surprise there. Just the food wasnt tasty. I had the crunchy shrimp 🍤 and girlfriend had the salmon. She did said it was good. The chopped salad 🥗 wasnt good or the artichoke dip neither. This was our Valentines dinner 🍽
My husband and I decided to try Chart House for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We arrived and were greeted by a nice young woman who was polite throughout. We waited 10 minutes for water and another 10 minutes for a glass of wine. We ordered the Burrata and the bread was cold and hard. Not crunchy, but tough. The artichoke and spinach dip was luke warm. I ordered a Caesar, which came out soggy. My husband ordered the lobster bisque and it was room temperature. Not hot at all. The entrees were tasty, a filet and the mahi. We received a complimentary dessert but unfortunately, it was melted and the message on the plate was Happy Birthday. It was our anniversary. The facility itself was dirty. Soiled utensils and old food remained on the window sill. Never received a refill on water. Would not recommend at all and as a local who has never had this experience, it was sorely disappointing.
Food tastes better when youre up in the air
It is a very unique experience! Overall, I really enjoyed our dinner and I would recommend. The only downside was that the service was extremely slow (our appetizer didn’t come until were sitting down for 1 hour). Otherwise the food and wine were delicious and the sights were pretty amazing.
Tower of Americas, San Antonio, Texas. One of the coolest restaurants in America!
This restaurant was amazing and beautiful. The food was outstanding and our server was excellent and really nice with us. Only manager need check the bar in second floor because when we finish our dinner we went to the bar in the second floor and the cocktails were different and the quality and taste was horrible.
Beautiful views, the best are right before dusk to see the sunset and then the night view of San Antonio. The food was delicious and the service staff awesome! A must do in San Antonio.
Great lunch with our daughter, we had the shrimp and mango to start followed with NY steak and espargus.
Was a fantastic dining experience for celebrating my birthday while visiting San Antonio! The staff were very nice on wishing me a happy birthday. We were very early but they were still we able to seat us. My salmon was fantastic while enjoying a great view of downtown while up in the tower
Atop the world! We love the casual feel and big city views! I couldnt think of a better place to propose to my lady! Deliciois food and the wine selection great!
Our waitress, Rachel, was amazing! She suggested the perfect drinks and was always helpful with whatever we needed. She also gave us a customized dessert for our anniversary! Perfect food, with a perfect waitress, in a perfect restaurant!
It was our anniversary and we requested a private seat overlooking the view since they originally seated us at a big booth, and they honored our request.we had the MOST AWESOME WAITER-DUNCAN!He was AWESOMENESS and we were truly catered to!Thank you Chart House for making our Chapter 42 anniversary UNFORGETTABLE
No complaints whatsoever! May gal and I decided to spend our anniversary in San Antonio dining at Chart House. Unfortunately, the only reservation we could find for the day that fit our schedule was at 4:00PM, not their fault. On to the review! Parking has a fee of $15, and puts you within a 2 min walk to the Tower of Americas. Elevator ride was quick, I mean quick! Shot up to the top within a minute, fun to see the city from the windows on your way up. Gals at the lobby on the first floor relayed our arrival to the gals up top, and we were sat at our table within minutes after our elevator ride. Our server did a hell of a job trying to up-sell, kept our glasses full and checking on us without being bothersome. I had been craving a NY steak all week but got a glimpse a someones salmon as it passed by our table, so I ordered the salmon on a cedar plank. Boy, was that a great decision! The salmon came with roasted fingerling taters, and a side of broccolini. My gal went with a zero proof cucumber + honey cocktail that was to die for. Too girly for me but tasted amazing. The Paneed chicken which she enjoyed but didnt finish so I got to taste test it when she was done with it. We picked the small hot chocolate lava cake to cleanse our palettes and absolutely loved it. The cake was super delicious! The cake is thick, moist, rich and the toffee spread on the bottom was scrumptious. The center was warm and gooey, it was a perfect way to end the lunch.
Best place to eat at San Antonio! You can see all the city and take amazing pictures while youre eating an awesome menu...
Where to start. Upon getting off the elevator we were overcome with heat and humidity to a point where it was really uncomfortable while we waited at the bar for our table to be ready, luckily once we got to our table it started to cool down. Now for an honest review about their food... They no longer have ribeyes “what a shame”, shrimp and crab fondu, or calamari on the menu anymore and not to mention they ran out of bread and lemons during my visit, we are definitely off to a really bad start. I ordered the Ny strip medium with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked correctly and was seasoned just enough to not need A1 sauce but the garlic mashed potatoes was lacking garlic and was bland and not warm, they also did not have much flavor. We ordered sizzling mushrooms as an added side for both of us and they were in fact sizzling as they came to the table and just needed a little salt to enjoy endlessly. As an appetizer we ordered the corn chorizo dip that was very tasty so i would recommend it but it was in no comparison to the shrimp and crab fondu that is no longer on the menu. My wife got the penne chicken with garlic mashed potatoes. Her chicken was crunchy on the outside as expected and juicy and flavorful in the center so no complaints their but her garlic mashed potatoes were just as tasteless as mine so i do not recommend anyone getting them as a side. We ordered the chocolate lava cake that had no lava in the center... even Chilis can get that right, not to say it tasted bad but the kid in me wanted to see some chocolate pour out of this desert upon first cut. The service we received from our waitress was great i just had to keep reminding her that i like ice with my drink but other than that she was great. All in all for what i spent i expect far better prepared dishes and had it been not for the stunning view we had this review wouldve been 1 star. Ill be back once ribeyes and shrimp and crab fondu are put back on the menu.
Good cocktails, lobster bisque, apps, seafood and steak entrees. Servers are friendly and will recommend the good items. Great view of San Antonio at dusk so you can pick out landmarks.
We celebrated my daughters graduation with dinner tonight. We all got the Chart your Course special, which comes with soup or salad, an entree, and dessert. I dont personally like seafood, but my family said the Lobster bisque and the shrimp trio were divine. The Caesar salad was good but a little fishy for my tastes. Prime rib, some of the best weve had. And the mini chocolate molten lava cakes served with ice cream were the perfect decadent dessert! The food took a little long to come out, in my opinion, but I realize restaurants are short staffed right now, and the rotating tower view of the beautiful downtown night lights, as well as good conversation, helped to pass the time. Our server Rachel was fantastic- she was sweet, attentive, and really went above and beyond to make sure we had a special evening! I highly recommend Chart House for a unique dining experience!
Food was great & view was amazing. Very enjoyable dining experience.
The best place to visit from the top and have delicious food !!
Loved our spinach dip & chocolate lava cake !!
Been here several times throughout the years and it is always a favorite to go for special occasions. The view alone is a reason to visit, but the food is always amazing. Weve never had a bad experience and the staff is always nice and try to make it as special as possible!
The calamari was delicious, my seabass was a little over cooked, keylime pie was good, and service was excellent.
Probably one of the best restaurants weve dined at in San Antonio. So far of the higher end restaurants weve been to this has definitely been my favorite. The views and the service is what really made it for us. This is definitely a great place for date night or to take out of town visitors to. Our server Breana was top notch and took really good care of us and made sure our drinks were always filled and was very attentive, never did we have to ask for anything. Definitely the best service weve had in San Antonio thus far. Also the food was all cooked really well. My favorite of the meal was probably the lobster bisque. It wasnt heavy and just really delicious. Will definitely be returning. Cannot recommend this dining experience enough.
In town to celebrate my friends birthday, we decided to tour Tower of Americas then stop for a snack. I ordered their tuna poke appetizer and my friend ordered lava cake. We were warned the cake takes 30 minutes to prepare. However, their kitchen was backed up, and her cake appeared over an hour later. She barely had time to eat it before we had to dash to hotel for our late 4pm check out. She said was it delicious even in the rush. Just a warning...order only when you have time to wait. Otherwise, our server was warm, friendly, and attentive. If she could have baked it herself, she would have.
Nice place. I got crab cake and shrimp ($21). Amazing lava chocolate cake. But waited for a while for our food.
Beautiful dining. Was a bit disappointed that many were not dress formally but none the less the view and food were amazing. Everything tasted delicious from the beverages, to the appetizer, to the main course and then dessert.
Worst experience! I developed food poisoning for a week! Just by eating their salad and bread. Dirty cloth napkins with lint all over them. Hair on water glass and I couldnt believe there was a ant on the table. Disappointed.
The view is GORGEOUS! The service takes long! Youll go thirty just waiting for a waiter. Food takes long to get to you and serving sizes are small for the amount of money you pay for it!! You are basically there for the view
Excellent- will return! Great for kids and adults. Food was slightly slow but our gal worked hard and comped my coffee. Also- they let you up to the observation level after your meal. I’ll add a kids menu pic because if you have kids like mine you want to make sure there’s something for picky eaters.
Did not eat here, but four stars for the view and the excellent happy hour. The wait time for service even at the bar can be a little long, but youre here for the scenery so be prepared to trade off a little bit elsewhere. Great spot to meet friends for post work drinks or for a date night.
Waitress and staff were great. Food was disappointing. Shrimp was overcooked. Salmon was overcooked and under seasoned. Lobster croque was eh. Potatos had no seasoning. And due to a need table taking up our waitress attention food came slow and not hot. I expect better for a $115 bill for 2.
Good experience, very friendly staff, nice prices for food and drinks, plus the beautiful view, definitly a must go in SA Tx.
Fine dining experience. I had the New York strip. Wasn’t the best I’ve had but was good. Drinks and desert was good. The best part is the experience. The dining area slowly spins while you eat for a panoramic view of the city. Really pretty during the day and fantastic while the sunsets. I recommend you do this while in San Antonio.
Slow Service, Bland drinks, Cold Food. Atmosphere was great, unfortunately everything else was terrible. Waste of money for our Anniversary Dinner
Right atmosphere! You almost cant feel the restaurant rotating; its easy to forget you are in constant motion.
Loved it. My husband made a reservation here for my birthday. As we arrived they greeted us and asked if there was a special occasion we were celebrating and we said it was my birthday. Once at the restaurant we dis not wait at all and got out table right away. Our server was pleasant and very attentive at our needs. Food was great. The only thing I am not sure about is why did they ask if we were celebrating anything for???
The food was just ok to be so expensive. The dishes that the hostess gave us initially were filthy, but our waitress brought us clean ones right away. She seemed like she was over worked but she did try her best with us. I guess you pay for the experience here, because the food is blah and the service is ok.
Not worth it. We ordered an appetizer right away and it never came. We ordered our meals with salads to start and the salads came and there was no silverware. By the time the silverware came the salad was hot from the sun. We ordered a drink before the salads and it was sitting in the sun until we pointed it out and now had a warm glass of white wine. The steak was ordered medium and it came so rare it was cold on the inside. Toward the end of our meal, we finally got a bread basket. Finally, we asked about the banana dessert and they said they fry the dessert in the same oil as the fish.. No thanks. It took so long to get mediocre service. Save your money, come enjoy the views at the bar then go eat somewhere better.
Food and atmosphere top notch. Scallops were very tasty and the chorizo shrimp with sweet corn appetizer was almost as good as the lava cake. The only thing that held me back from a 5star was the servers seemed to be spread thin.
The rotating restaurant on top of the Tower of the Americas is a must see for your San Antonio experience! Make your reservation and enjoy the views-I recommend lunch; though its menu is somewhat limited, the prices are quite reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber. The crab cake and coconut shrimp were PERFECTION. Casual dress is accepted, but I recommend taking your look up a notch as a nod to the beautiful setting that you’ll be enjoying. Save room for Lava Cake! It was more than amazing, but order when you arrive, it requires a 30 minute prep window.
The Chart house at dark is an amazing evening. The food is amazing,as well as the drinks and appetizers.Definantly a place to go if you visit San Antonio Tx
Food was plenty and pricing very nice. Drinks need alcohol for their pricing....only complaint. Was there even a drop in the Mango mojito?Staff wonderful as ever. Nick was quite the server. Very professional and very efficient.
We had a fantastic dinner at the Charthouse Tower of America on 9/14/21. Not only were our dinners delicious, the view was magnificent with the revolving restaurant, but the best was the excellent service that we received from our waiter, named Sunny. If we return we will definitely definitely come back here we will make sure we request Sunny
