Our family always enjoy dining at Aldino at The Vineyard. My daughter absolutely loves the salad dressing!Since moving to San Antonio, Aldino is probably our top favorite Italian restaurant.Everything is made fresh in the kitchen and is delicious.They recently came out with some new items and we definitely recommend giving it a try.If you still have room for desert, their chocolate cake is absolutely fabulous.Never had a bad experience here which is why we continue to come back!

Lovely Italian restaurant. We visited for Restaurant Week and enjoyed both the menu offered for the event and the Aldino’s menu. We both had a great lunch during the week. When we arrived there was little to no wait. Good portion sizes and the quality of the food was great.

Service was good, ambience was a good - maybe a little loud at times, and the food was delightful.The Caprese starter was delicious, well plated, with pretty good balance and textures. The chicken stuffed with prosciutto/spinach/mozzarella with risotto was so tasty - better than Id anticipated.We had a little dessert hitch - Id skip the chocolate cake and go for the cheesecake. The chocolate cake was the only part of the meal I wasnt impressed with. My friend enjoyed the tiramisu, but really the cheesecake topped the three we tried.It was a bit of a drive from where I live, so it might be a while till I return, but Ill be looking forward to it.

This was our first experience with Aldinos and it was fantastic. It was my brides birthday AND our 26th Anniversary!!! I called and made a reservation. Faith was our server and a dandy she was. She made the entire experience so much fun and pleasurable. All of the food was stellar and desserts (cheese cake and crème brulée) were simply super. Thanks again for a memorable time! We will be back.

We love Aldino at The Vineyard! My wife and I wandered in a couple of years ago, and immediately felt at home. The bar manager, Monica, is warm, friendly, and extremely good at what she does. We usually sit in the bar area because of her great attention and superb service. The food is outstanding, the drinks are well mixed, and the service is second to none.

It was EXCELLENT..the shrimp plate l ordered were delicious an huge. Salad an most of all the bartender was also great inMaking the Cosmopolitan drink. I give ALDINOS a 5 star rating.

Authentic Italian food. Felt like in Italy when I was there. Best Italian restaurant in San Antonio for pizza, spaghetti. Large portions and great wines. Not too crazy about the capuchino coffee; it was too heavy creamy when served. Bread was warm, but could be hit and miss. Once time I got it served not cooked all the way.But the services were nice, and could not beat the location, in the shopping center with Target and Whole Food!

I know, no restaurant is perfect. But, Aldino’s comes close to it. There is nothing not to really like here. parking, atmosphere, staff and food are all top notch.I had to scratch to find something to complain about. It might be the fact that their clams linguine are not in their little clam shell but pieces of little clam spread loosely through the pasta which does not give the dish it’s full clam flavor. One cannot be sure that they didn’t open up a can of clam meat, grind it up and spread it through the pasta.Having found that, what a great Italian restaurant, one of the best, if not the best in the San Antonio area.

Even with the crazy storm, that left the restaurant with out power, the staff cared for the customers above their usual stands of excellence.Monica, who works the bar, took hold of the situation and made me feel very comfortable with the situation. I have dinner at Aldinos often and see Monica, Cody and other staff care for the guest with wonderful Smiles

Absolute pleasure. Not rushed but steady flow, got my appetizer with plenty of time before entree. Lunch special is $13!, for quality Italian food that’s a deal. My server was Candy, delightful and was caring professionally for several tables around mine.Cudos to the management, well done. *****

Have enjoyed their brunch numerous times over the last 15 years, however had never made it out here for dinner. Was very pleased with the entire experience. The waitstaff was very nice and attentive and the food was excellent! The bruschetta appetizer with shrimp, crab and avocado was amazing. Both pasta dishes we had were very good. Extremely reasonably priced for such high quality food. Will definitely be back soon.

Second time here and its been a consistent exeptional customer service, ambiance and all senses inmerse in my meal from first to last bite. Great selection of drinks and my Sangria was made just perfect for my taste. My seafood medley soup was brought out at a perfect temperature and didnt disappoint, until the moment I noticed I had none left. 😆 I definetly recommend paying more than one visit to Aldino.

My wife wanted to give Aldino a four but I found too many faults.We went here for Restaurant Week in San Antonio, as it gives the Chefs’ an opportunity to showcase their talent and we wanted to see what Aldino had to offer.I’m in agreement with the other reviews, the staff is friendly and accommodating.The presentation was also well done. Unfortunately the meal was severely lacking.The steak was initially undercooked and lacked flavor, the vegetables were over cooked, the potatoes were hard. My wife’s fish was chunky and a clear sign of also being over cooked.The strawberries needed ripening, and the crust was extremely tough on the desert.

The food was pretty good. The restaurant was not overly crowded. Our server was kind of interesting. She did a good job but was a little slow to get things done. I would have given 5 stars but my friend and I both couldnt taste lemon in the sauce of our pasta dish despite them stating it was a lemon white wine sauce. Also, there were several people at the bar watching a sports game I believe. One woman screamed a profanity very loudly when the other team scored. I had my 6 year old child with me. When I go to a restaurant and pay $25 for a pasta dish Id prefer my child not hear such words from the staff. It was just very inappropriate for such a pricey and beautiful atmosphere that they have created there.

I thought this place was awesome. My waitress had me laughing Non-Stop. The food was awesome, the portions were great, the Ambiance was spectacular. Sure, a little pricey, but well worth it.

It was good italian food. For how much you expect to pay for a romantic dinner; we dont want to feel like we are eating with others. I know some restaurants have really close tables and this place does as well. Sitting so close feels like you are joining your unknown neighbor for dinner. Easily being able to listen in on other conversations and trying not to look their way since you are sitting so close. It takes away greatly from the romantic one on one dinner experience. Other than that the food was good. Decent bar cocktail menu. We ended up sitting at the bar after deciding not to take a table that was so close to another.

Such a good place. Always consistently delicious. And service so personal and observant to your needs. Pizza great. Also potato encrusted halibut (weekend special) and grilled salmon with caper dill sauce..to die for!

Me and my grandmother have been coming here for years and today we came by when the power was off. the bartender was incredibly rude. She yelled at us multiple times that they werent going to see any more which is understandable, my grandmother asked to use the restroom and the bartender got even more rude and started yelling at us even more. She was a blond woman with glasses and shoulder cut hair and was very rude to her employees as well. I hope you all can resolve this issue. Very low class employee let alone bartender.

The restaurant itself is great but the bartender, Monica is still there after repeated complaints of HOW RUDE she is! Makes me question management. My wife and I use to go on a regular basis to pick up our meals and now we dont visit due to Monica. She complains, talks about customers that dont know what they want, rude to customers. Sad that ONE person can make sales go down to to the same on our next door neighborhood website. MONICA is RUDE people do not want to go back to restaurant to pick up orders because of it! Get rid of her and many of your customers will come back!!

The food and service at this restaurant is amazing! The fresh Seasonal veggies used on the fettuccine were delicious! (Caprese salad pictured). Our waiter was also very friendly and he even ran out to catch us after we forgot our boxed leftovers. Awesome service, will be back!!

Everything tasted amazing. The cappuccino was to die for. I had the spicy chicken pasta and I ate the whole thing! The bread with olive oil was phenomenal, set yourself up for success by limiting how many youre allowed to eat, lol. My boyfriend has the linguine shrimp, he loved it. We will be coming back here! You can tell the high quality of ingredients.

The atmosphere and service were excellent, but the food itself was sub-par. The birthday girl had hair in in spaghetti, the salmon smelled fishy and was dry, the risotto was bland and under cooked.The desserts were decent, but overall the meal was a disappointment. If youre spending $20+ a plate you expect the execution to be perfect. Id say the chef in charge yesterday either doesnt care anymore, or is surrounded by amateurs.We wont be back.

This is Italian food done right! The atmosphere is upscale, but not pretentious. The staff is extremely kind and the service was impeccable. We even got a happy birthday message from our water (see pic). But the real star here is the food. Fresh and balanced, with tones missed by many other Italian restaurants. I dont even like Italian food, but Ill go to Aldino any time. It is a little pricey, but I find their prices to be typical for this genre.

First time eating at Aldinos and we came here to celebrate my birthday. We made a reservation for a large group and when we showed up we were blown away that we had a private room and the staff was very friendly. The food here was delicious and I even got a complimentary birthday dessert with candle. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back for sure.Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Phenomenal Italian food!! Wish I would have taken pictures. The lobster bisque was SO good. Lasagna al forno also delicious!! No wait on a Friday afternoon and the service was great. Will definitely be back when we’re in town again.

The most delicious salad!

Eating over at Aldinos was a last minute decision, that payed off very well. Food was spot on! Everything tasted wonderful! Specially the Penne Al Vodka. They even brought out a very yummy and light cheesecake for my wifes birthday! How wonderful that is!

My wife and I were just blown away. From our latte to our meal to the dessert that my wife just loved. Food could have not been any better. Everything is made fresh in-house and it shows. This was around 3:30pm, around 9 tables and our waiter Austin was just crushing it. Come to find out some of the staff were sick and he and the manager were taking care of everyone. We were checked on and taken care through the whole visit. Can not wait to go back and see how the service is with a full staff. Cause the bar was set very high with the staff being shorthanded. Just amazing, five star service that goes with five star food. And price, please. No matter what you get you should not ever feel you paid too much. I have paid a lot at places and have never gone back cause the service, food and overall feel of the place did not add up to the price. This feels like home, family, friends and wonderful food. Worthy of the hour plus round-trip. Will do it again very soon.

I really enjoyed it there. Granted you have to consider that there was not a lot of people there. That said, I lived the atmosphere. The waiter was beyond outstanding and earned a nice to four it. The food was tasty.

They make everything fresh in their restaurant.We had two baskets of complimentary roles with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.The NOODLES ARE MADE FRESH. And the sauces are not overwhelming, the taste is perfect and you feel healthy after eating an entree there.Their produce is A++. Their fruits and vegetables have to be the finest of any restaurants anywhere. My wife made fun of me because I had never tasted an artichoke so good.This is a 30 yr old San Antonio restaurant that everyone knows as the best restaurant. The owner is very nice and is not charging unreasonable high end prices like he could be.

My daughter and I wandered in on this Friday lunch time. Everyone has been pleasant and warm. Drinks and super hot fresh bread came quickly. Cesar salad came just as quick and it was also delicious. The lunch trio and the lunch tilapia were amazing. First visit but not the last. I have seen this restaurant here but never came. Glad we did! Great job

We had Christmas eve dinner there and everyone was raving about how good it was. The cheesecake was a consensus favorite. We are so happy that we have this place so close to us. Were going there at least 4-6 times per month and love the quality and consistency.

From the hostess to the waiter to the managers, every interaction was above and beyond my expectations. Customer Service was superb. Everything came out perfectly and the food was delicious. Aldino at the Vineyard by far exceeded are expectations! Love this place!

Let me start by saying I LOVE THIS PLACE and there are many reasons why. It’s a beautiful restaurant and a relaxing environment. The food is excellent and the staff is nothing short of amazing! We actually just tried this place about 4-5 weeks ago. We like to sit in the bar area and enjoy good conversation with maybe an extra dirty martini to start and wine with dinner 🍸We had an excellent experience on our first visit and met Monica who was bartending that evening. We went back the next weekend and were so pleasantly surprised she remembered us! We are both in sales and love when someone takes the time not only welcome you to the bar but remember us after 1 visit. If you haven’t visited Aldinos, I highly recommend you do to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing evening!UPDATE 7/19/21 Visit: I am thrilled about the quality of service we always receive when we visit Aldinos. We love sitting at the bar because Monica knows us by name and takes excellent care of us! Last night we visited and the electricity was out due to the storms that moved through. This is a favorite spot of my parents so we have been there quite a bit. It has an excellent happy hour special for food and drinks. Service is always top notch and the food is good. A nice casual date night or spot to hangout.

The food is consistently good. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. There wasnt a single complaint from anyone in our group of six. Portion size is good and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant does get very busy; so patience is needed when it comes to drink refills or requesting more bread.

Great service, great food, great atmosphere.My co-workers and I went for lunch, we were very quickly greeted and seated. Our server was very prompt. I had the Chicken Gorgonzola dish. The flavor of dish was fantastic, and the portion was great for lunch. Prior to the dish being brought out we were served fresh bread which was also very on point. I will definitely be returning to try several other plates. Additionally shown is the Lasagna and the Talapia.
