It is a good place for dancing. Right now at the moment 525 Swing Junction is hosting swing lessons and dancing. The first group to use following the pandemic.I recommend this place for weddings because of the parking and floor, plus there is a bowling alley.

We came to Hermann Sons Ballroom for a swing dance event this weekend. The room large, plenty of space for dancing, and had sufficiently slick floors.

My son and daughter in law had their formal wedding in the ballroom and now my granddaughter attends dance class here in the same ballroom. I love how the generations continue to celebrate here. It is wonderful that they have continued to honor the values that the buisness was built with.

Serious vintage place. So much character and love in the bar. Just beer and wine right now, but the vibe is totally worth it. Cal, behind the bar kills it. Come be a part of history.

My wife had a Christmas party and he had a great time. We thought this placed had closed but we just heard its making a come back. This place is a historical venue its a part of San Antonio and Im glad that I was able to come to this party because we had an awesome time.

Daughter is in dance here, she loves it and loves her teacher. Very nice and always smiles. Then they have a bar down stairs with good prices on drinks/food.

I grew up around the hermansen since I was younger. I used to come here and play bingo with my grandmother when they still had Bingo. I just recently got back in with The hermansons and joined up and my daughter started dance this year and it was awesome she loved it and we will definitely be back for another year

Im guessing that the age of the building causes the unpleasant odor upon entry. The venue is small and quaint. Ask about the history prior to this place becoming a bar.
