In reality they have been great for us. Maintenance is quick and the office is nice and easy to work with but the pool is always closed when I have a day off. It’s bloody hot out here and the pool is closed which is really all my kids ever want to do is swim

Friendly staff and the price cant be beat. Great location thats 15 minutes to downtown. Easy walk to a convenience store. Biggest perk was being pet friendly!

Love it here & have for many years! The Office Michelle & Samantha are the epitome of Wellington Estates! They always go above & beyond too make sure things are done with excellent detail. Especially through a of this new way of life with the Covid-19. The maintenance guys Cole & Richard also go above & beyond and work very hard! I always appreciate their work & respect for their jobs! We have been blessed too be here as long as we have & look forward too many more years!

From the moment that I moved in I have had issue after issue. First I was told my fist month would be half off then covid hit. The management was continually rude and incredibly difficult to communicate effectively with. When my wallet was stolen and my bank account was hacked I was waiting to hear back to get a buffer on my late payment. Management did not return the call till the next day and told me that Id she had spoken with me the previous day I could have avoided the late charge that she still charged me for when my bank clearedthe cash for me to use I paid the entireamountwith late fee becauseI wasnt believed about my circumstances basicallycalling me a liar. When I had maintenance issues I asked for the. To call and schedule time to arrange for someone to be present they never called then entered my apartment without permission, And still failed to correct the issues that persisted past my stay.

Nothing spectacular and my oven was left w chemicals and not properly wiped down, fridge freezer has a mismatch side part and dirty stove covers (those lil bowls one was dirtly). Carpet new but the dust and dirt i pick up was sinus allergy hell!! I hate carpet!!! but most think carpet is great!! Its not! wish i had an option i would have told them to use that paper cover in the entire apt.

This has been an amazing place to live the neighbors are very friendly and the location has been perfect to get to 410. As for as the Manager and Office team they have always been very help on all work orders and requests. Any issues I have had been fixed in a timely manner.Was pleased with how fast Management responded to my issue and how fast someone came out to fix the problem.

Ive been here for about a year now. Honestly the pricing is not that bad in relation to the square footage. Its an old apartment complex so take that into consideration. I dont write reviews but there is some things that have been bothering me. Just about every day Ive had weed smoke seep into my apartment. I dont know which apartment its coming from but it leaves my room smelling like weed including my closet where I hang my clothes. It sometimes irritates my throat and give us a headache. Management has been informed about this but it was fruitless and I tried to let it go but its been EVERY DAY these past few weeks. Also the dog poo situation. People dont clean up after thier dogs and it is a constant smell when walking around this complex. I understand that its not the complexs fault so I didnt count it into the rating but the weed smoke is definitely a minus star.Despite this, as of 2021 this is a good apartment complex overall.

This will be our 3rd time leasing here. Family is happy here. Friendly and helpful staff, landscaping is kept up and office practice covid safety guidelines. I only wish they had more 3bd townhomes available. Rent price are descent especially for 3bd 2ba. i love you only have one payment to make. Rent and utilities are all in one bill. You dont have to call or deposit to set services. Office takes care of everything. Maintenance or any issues are handled in a timely manner and are willing to help with programs for rent assistance where people were effected by the pandemic. I recommend living here.

During our stay at Wellington Estates my children and I were very pleased at our apartment. We loved our home and if something broke down we would notify staff .Then maintenance would come to fix what ever needed to be fixed. Our apartment home was also very close to my job which made it so convenient to take my children to school and arrive to work on time. It is also very close to restaurants and several hospitals.We would truly recommend the Wellington Estates to everyone. We lived there for 3 years. If I should move back to San Antonio in the future, I would definitely go back to Wellington Estates.

Ive been living in the complex for over 30 yearsEventhough its a small property, the amenities are good. Both 5he office staff and maintenance are friendly, courteous and professional.

Every time I had to call the office the management made it seem like I was bothering them. When I would put in a work order it would take forever for anyone to help and then when they did help it seemed like it was a waste of their time. I absolutely hated it there and glad I was able to get out of there. I would highly not recommend anyone to live there.

I lived there for 8 cumulative years. The staff is amazing. Everyone is kind and takes care of concerns in a timely manner. Hands down, Wellington has the best property management team I have encountered. As a realtor, I refer many clients who are looking for an apartment or townhome. My experience was that great.

Leasing agents were very helpful and nice! They accommodated our time needs and dates, explained the lease thoroughly, and talked us through the inspection process. The neighborhood is really calm and quiet, and location is great!

I have been apart of the Wellington Estates Community for a few years. I lived there in 2015 and again in 2017. It was bittersweet to leave this time around because I began my journey as a homeowner. The office and maintenance is staff are very helpful and quick to respond when there was ever an issue. Wellington Estates is a quiet and clean community and the area is conveniently located near grocery stores, a gym, restaurants and near 410, which is a major highway which will give you access to other areas around town.

Been at this complex for almost 5 years and have nothing but positive things to say. From the maintenance and office staff to keeping the grounds in great condition. Definitely a great and affordable place to live in Medical Center.

Friendly staff that are willing to work with you. Nice apartments and facilities, especially for the cost! A generally quiet place with a convenient location. The only complaint would be all the stupid cats around...but then again Im not a cat person. Would recommend to anyone.

I would not recommend no one to rent at wellington very pricey when you move out you are charged for everything and i mean everything. Be careful cause you cant even get your deposit back cause staff findseverything to charge you for. Apts are 60 years old. Walls are painted over nothing replaced appliance need to break down completely before you can get another one. Piping in kitchen connected to other apt is the worse always backing up and water overing flowing on to carpet and never replaced. Had to put up with smell of carpet afterwards, the apt office never sent anyone to replace carpets dealt with smell year after year. Be very careful leasing from this place. I would think twice before renting or leasing from wellington.

Lived here for over a year and loved it. Management is always friendly. Maintenance is always on top of their game. I am going to miss my town home. Would highly recommend living here to anybody searching for an apartment.

Great first apartment, I did have some issues initially with a few LARGE holes in the wall that was letting bugs in but once we realized the problem it was fixed immediately.I really enjoyed the ladies in the office and it felt very homey.

From management to the maintenance I want to say thank you, you guys are always amazing, treat every work order as top priority so thank you, always helpful and nice thank yall.

My girlfriend and I just moved out. We stayed in Wellington Estates for a year and overall we had a pleasant experience. The property is very well maintained and quiet for it being in such a highly transited area. There is not an assigned “dog park” but there are plastic bag stations all over the property, which makes it very easy to walk with your pet.Now, moving into the apartment. The unit that we lived in was a 700 ft2 1 bed/1 bath. The unit is ample with carpet in the living room, bedroom and both closets. The kitchen, dining room and bathroom are covered with plank. When we moved in they had just installed new carpets and planks. There are ceiling fans in the dining and bedroom.During our time here we did experience some issues. Our refrigerator went out and it took about 3 maintenance visits for it to work properly. We had a problem with our A/C that caused a water leak in our bedroom ceiling. However, each time we requested a repair it took management less than a 3 days to get the work orders done.The apartments themselves are old and could definitely use a makeover. In spite of this, it is clear that management stays on top of their game to ensure that everything that needs fixing gets done.The sole reason I am giving 4/5 stars is because my unit lacked a washer and dryer. I believe that the larger units do have the hook-ups.Good luck!

The price is awesome, $575 for a studio. The management is nice and funny and works with us on things we need. Maintenance is great, put in a request about a clogged toilet, literally ten minutes later they came and fixed it. They spray for bugs so a roach is a 1 per 6 month occurrence lol. They have pizza parties and garage sales every few months, pool, outside grill and picnic areas. Most friendly and well kept (for the price) apartment ever! Older apartments so they dont look all modern and whatever, but great. Very great.

This place is a dump. My apartment caught fire because of faulty wiring and I get a call at work to come home and the red cross is there. They tell me dont worry none of your stuff is damaged too badly meanwhile my stuff is soaked from the firefighters. They ask if I would like help moving to the new unit, and I told them absolutely. Then upon move out I am charge over $1,000 for damage to another residents car port when I did not own a vehicle the whole time I was there. I have had it, stay away, the place was infested with bugs, I am taking them to court, enough of the abuse.

Bugs, mites, terribly infested! I advised the complex of this bird mite issue in my bedroom weeks ago which came from all of their many trees outside my window. So far nothing has been done. In the meanwhile I had to throw out my brand new bed, half my clothes and towels and sleep on an air mattress while they play guess that bug The only thing I did receive was a threat that if its bed bugs I would be charged 300.00 I requested a new unit, an exterminator and a free month of 1k rent since thats how much their bug problem has cost me so far yet I have received nothing to resolve this. Ive missed days of sleep, work and spent many hours washing and lots of money fumigating myself. their bird mites are all over the complex laundry and I know they know because theyve put a bottle of vinegar out in the laundry room. This is ridiculous. I literally dread coming home everyday. I may as well sleep in my car under the bridge but noooo cuz the bugs followed me to my car too. Once the bugs followed me to work my job sent out the corporate exterminator right away he immediately confirmed bird mites. Yet nothing is being done. I reported this 2 weeks ago to the complex and theyre dragging their feet. For 1k/mo you can find somewhere bug free. Id rather deal with roaches than this mess. The flying giant kind! Thursday Im meeting with my attorney and Ill see what I can do to get out of these apartments because I cant keep living with all my clothes (that I could salvage) bagged up and in totes. I cannot live like this. The mites get in your clothes hair skin, everywhere. I literally went to my dr in tears about them on me.

My family and I just moved in and so far no complaints. The office staff is super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to help with any situation. For example, I had a package sent to the wrong apartment number and the staff helped me track down the package and even called the other tenant. The maintenance crew gets problems done quickly and let you know when they are finished. I love this place and the apartment is cozy and beautiful. They take pride in the upkeep of the grounds.

This was my 1st apartment. From day 1 everything went rite, the ladies are sweet, sammi took care of me...thank you sam! ther super spacey, in good conditions, they take care of the outside, and inside. I felt safe ther, at night it was nice and quiet. If ther were any situations, theyd fix it! i was only here for 6 months, and honesly i regret not renewing. One thing for sure is i know il come back!!! thank you ladies for everything!

Been living here for about 3 years. Its been great. The management is nice, maintenance is also nice and fast. Place is well kept and price for footage is hard to beat. Staying here till i can find a forever home. Only complaint i can bring up is the parking. If u live in back yu can fit 2 cars in your assigned space. Other than that not much vistor/extra parking.

No I dont recommend this apartments to know one at the beginning they were great now that I been there for a while it has gotten bad....There people that live there that manage to get in too my truck and took what was in it>>>>I seen other review before I moved there from the same situation and I ignored them... I needed a place and know I regret it because what other people said it would happen well IT DID SOMEONE IS STEALING FROM HERE I dont know how but they did Be careful you can always find another place to live....

I moved in last year n iam so glad I did, these apartment are well maintained n have very large floor plans, maintaince is always on point when i have an issue which is very rare they are quick n fast to resolve the problem, love these apartments plan to stay here long term! N will recommend Wellington estate apartments to anyone seeking a great spacious quite place to call home!

In my experience management is rude an unhelpful. They are very slow to handle important maintenance issues. We have been without hot water at the apartments, all of them, for 4 days now and they dont seem to care.

I really enjoyed living here but at the end of my lease found a rat in my appt and decided to move. My lease was almost over and move out and now Im being charged a whole lot its crazy

Weve lived at Wellington Estates for almost two years now, and lived in a 2 bedroom townhouse before moving into a 3 bedroom townhouse a few months ago. We have no plans to move any time soon because we do like it here a lot as a family-of-four, and we even have more family moving into an apartment in the complex through our recommendation!Weve had no issues with noise (bonus of a townhouse maybe?), crime, or pests, people stealing parking spots, etc. Any maintenance requests we have submitted have been resolved within 48hrs and the head maintenance guy is a lovely fella who you can tell cares about the quality of his and his teams work - he doesnt do a half-arsed job is my point. The ladies in the office are also all really lovely and helpful, and Ive never had an issue getting questions answered or assistance when needed.The complex itself is kept nice and tidy (youll hear a mower or leaf blower going at least once a week at min), and they decorate during the holiday seasons. The two townhomes weve lived in were thoroughly cleaned before we got the keys, with new paint/carpet done throughout. The cupboards and white goods arent shiny brand new things with the most modern of styles, but everything works just fine and get the job done so its not a negative in my opinion, it matches the lower price.Pics below are of the 3br townhouse the day we moved in. I forgot to take photos of the 2 full & 1 half bathrooms and also the patio, sorry! I think the images make the rooms look a bit smaller than they are, but I think theyre good enough to see the quality of the units available :)

I lived in two different units during my time at Wellington Estates. Overall it was a positive experience - the location was convenient to everything, maintenance was done in a timely manner, and the office staff was friendly and available, and they were pet friendly, which was a plus. My first unit was a larger one bedroom - it was perfect for me and my little dog. When I met my husband, we outgrew the one bedroom, and due to an absolutely nightmarish ordeal with the downstairs neighbor, the complex let us transfer to a larger two bedroom townhome on the other side of the property. I wasnt thrilled with the layout of the townhome - the washer dryer hookups were in a weird location. The walls were pretty thin - I could hear conversations from the next door neighbors. But we still basically enjoyed living there - it wasnt perfect, but apartment living never is. We ended up moving to a house when our lease was finished, otherwise we would probably still be living there. I would recommend this property to others looking for a place to live.

We just moved in to these apartments people are nice and everything but weve just been having problems with the apartment reported to office the problems and they take their time to fix them like the ac wasnt working it was hot and me the resident had to fix it because they took almost a week and half to by and bar to hang our stuff 2 weeks and are refrigerator has not been working and are food keeps going bad because they havent done anything about it and weve reported it to be high priority.

Trying to move in but these bad reviews suck. Very discouraging. Here it is months later & they still have not responded to the messages that Ive left them for availability inquiry. They need new management for sure !

Ive lived in these apartments for 5 months now. Im not super picky about my housing or I wouldnt like the place. After moving in we noticed a few things that would make any OCD person go crazy! The floors and/or cabinets/walls are not even (our bookshelf doesnt touch the walls at the top but does on the floor, our fridge looks crooked but is sitting just fine on the floor), you can feel the nails where the carpet has been tacked down around the entrance to the bathroom, kitchen and the main entryway (Ive learned to not step there). There are also random bumps under the carpet like whoever put it in didnt clean up after themselves before finished the installation.I have been annoyed with how often the water has been turned off without notice (or the notice being walking around knocking on doors but not waiting to see if anyone is actually home.) Its been off at least 3 times a month since weve moved in. Weve had notice once- maybe twice.The parking is not the best- especially on the outside where double parking is allowed and towing- though posted- is NEVER enforced. It makes inaccessibility through the driveway at times but if people would follow the No Parking signs or just use common sense it wouldnt happen.Everything else had been great. Like I said Im not super picky and Im glad I have a place to live. Management has been good so far aside from not having set office hours. They are closed for lunch at the most random times and have been known to leave early. Any maintenance issues have been taken care of promptly (the maintenance men have all been wonderful and very nice!). Anything that has been brought to the attention of the office has been taken care of. I really like the laundry facilities. The location is great. Its a 2 minute drive to 410 and close to the Medical Center. Id recommend this apartment.
