LITERALLY THE WORST PLACE EVER. Please save yourself the awful experience of wasting your money living here. This place is trash. Roaches in the kitchen, roaches in the bedrooms, walls are thin as paper. Parking lot sucks!! There’s no room at all times of the day. Maintenance doesn’t know how to fix anything, you’re better off fixing things yourself! Not to mention the CONSTANT parties nearly everyday of the week! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who enjoys their own peace of mind. Do whatever it takes to avoid this place. They make it seem so nice online but just read the reviews! This place deserves 0 stars!

Horrible place to live ignores you when contacting does not return emails broken furniture that they never replace then try to get you to pay for. During snow storm was put out for 7 months and charged. Given temp that was not ready. No parking at night. All the things they promised to provide all lies. Do not move here tell your friends save your money and get a better place

If I could rate them lower I would. Me and my roommates were extremely excited to move in this semester, however, upon our arrival to the apartment everything was wrong. We came in to an extremely messy and unclean apartment, our tv was not mounted but rather just lying on our coffee table. Our kitchen sink does not drain properly and only allows you to have the tap running for a few seconds before it starts filling up. There were messes left by the previous tenants that we had to clean up. It has been three (almost four) weeks since our move in and maintenance has not come to fix our tv or our sink. I would have rather continued paying my the higher rent at my previous apartment than to have moved here.

If I were to rate this place 0 stars I totally would. Where to begin, upon move in, our apartment was super dirty, & rooms were filthy. Not to mention my restroom sink cabinet looked like someone yanked hair out of their scalp and glued it to the cabinets. Also took me and my roommates about an hour and a half to fully clean our restrooms due to how dirty they were. It is going to be 4 weeks since we moved in and not a single maintenance request has been completed. Our sink, which is clogged, has yet to be fixed. Dishwasher smelled like something had rotten inside. They mention their flat screen television on their website, well upon move in the tv was literally laid out FLAT on our table and has yet to be fixed. Its like they expect us to do some parkour and glue ourselves to the ceiling in order to watch tv. To top it off there were an infestation of gnats in our fridge. Nothing about the apartment was move in ready like we were told. Furthermore, I paid for covered parking and they decided to place my parking spot in front of a building I do not even live in. I practically have to walk a mile to get to my apt. Will definitely not be renewing my lease, I would rather pay a fortune to live in a hotel.

From a Dad,Honestly I don’t think the owner of the property has surveyed or walked the property. Considering after the cold storm no excuse for lack of services and construction build back. I came to visit my daughter to get a hands on experience and to that event I see no effort on ownership to make this place a great place to send your student to live. Won’t go into details but I’ll leave it at that. To all the families that are here god bless you for being tolerant to lack of commercial real estate management services. Just hope ownership realizes the hazard here.

For starters, they provided the bare minimum of help with breaking my lease due to the corona virus pandemic. I lived four hours away from San Antonio, and like most of us know and experienced, utsa went into complete remote learning for two semesters so I decided to go home and be with family. I attempted in breaking my lease months prior to move in and they rejected me every time and mentioned getting a subleaser in which I tried and was never able to receive. NONE of the amenities were available to use most the time. The gym was available for a 30 minute reservation, which even then, was barely useful/available. Elevators ALWAYS down somehow, and the nicest featured the complex the pool was never to be used., I was forced to pay rent for a place I never lived in permanently, I visited every 3 months to check in on my place for a weekend if so, and around December 2020, they had added charges to my account saying I switched rooms and had a roommate reassignment and we’re trying to make me pay a WHOLE MONTH’s rent,(very shady) when I had been paying everything in advance. I had to call for a week and a half straight in attempt to talk to Jessica to fix the matter, which she finally fixed after I sent evidence of me paying everything monthly. Work orders did get fixed. However, they took a week to do for each time. Room experienced many leaks every time it rained, room reeked of marijuana upon move in, here I am hoping they don’t throw any damage fees at me when my lease expires in two months and I never have to hear from them again.

0!! DONT LIVE HERE. THIS PLACE IS TRASH!!! MANAGEMENT IS TRASH! great location in the city & close to school but I’d rather make time to get to school than deal with living here EVER again. Living here for two years & consistent problems such as the elevator breaking down for days or weeks..or a few months multiple times. valet trash wouldn’t be picked up every here and there if whoever is on trash duty doesn’t feel like grabbing two bags that night, they’ll only throw what they FEEL like although we are paying valet trash…unsanitary & very disorganized complex to say the least. Constant dirty halls & disgusting stairwells remained dirty with throw up, dog stool, or other garbage for MONTHS. The Luxx doesn’t maintain outside sanitation unless bugged numerous times by resident. CONSIDER ALL OTHER options before choosing the Luxx! Idk if management or the place itself is worse.

I was greeted by Tiffany. She was very friendly and very professional. She gave me a detailed tour of the facility and the rooms. She also made sure if I had questions filling out the application she would be readily available to assist and answer any questions I may have. Overall very impressed with the services thus far.

Where to begin lol. The luxx had bad reviews but I decided to go forth with living there because the mangement was so friendly at first and I figured Id give them a chance. Upon moving in, the apartment was messy, dirty, and smelled like marijuana. Me and my new roomate had to clean the entire apartment. One of our roomates always smoked inside the apartment and no matter HOW MANY TIMES we tried to address it with mangement not ONCE was a simple email sent to the other roomates. They had irregular trash vallet hours. Sometimes we would get fined if our trash was out past an hour of the regular time YET they decided when they wanted their schedule to work and pick up trash. so unorganized and unprofessional. Upon subleasing the property manager was terrible at communicating with me and gave me NO instructions on how to sublease and I ended up having to read through the entire leasing contract to find out how to sublease. If i could give this apartment a -5 stars, I would. oh and guess what? now theyre trying to charge me for a rip that was on the couch BEFORE we even moved in. it just prooves that they never check the apaartments before moving new people into it.

AN ABSOLUTE SCAM! Do not lease at the Luxx. The model homes look nothing like the actual apartments. The apartment I was living in was infested with cockroaches, even after putting in multiple requests for pest control they would not go away. Most of the appliances were either broken or barely worked. For instance, our microwave didnt even have a handle to open it, and it wasnt until three months after did they get it fixed, but as for our refrigerator the freezer didnt work at all and all of our frozen food went bad. Similarly, the whole countertop on the sink came off and we put in requests to have it fixed, but they didnt see as a priority, so I tried fixing it myself with my caulking glue and the gun. The next day, I come home from classes, I find that not only did they do a bad job of sealing the countertop but they also took my equipment I had to argue with management to get my tools back. Our apartment made my allergies worse, I could not breathe with how much dust collects from our rooms. I vacuumed every day and changed the A/C filter every month. Also, not to mention the water quality was so gross the water smelled like chlorine. The management is not great either, I got charged for a missing mailbox key, one that I never received since they told me I would get mine when they got it delivered from the company, and made me sign off on the record sheet anyway. Save yourself the time and the money and DO NOT LEASE HERE!

If youre choosing between The Luxx and somewhere else, pick the other place. The management and maintenance in this place is horrible. I put in a request to fix a washer and dryer, that was broken upon move-in, and its been two weeks and counting. Nothing has been fixed and I call the office every 3 days and ask for it to be fixed and no one knows any information or theres no maintenance on-site or theyre busy and theyll get to it by the end of the day. And guess what, nothing ever happens or gets fixed around here. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

Ive lived here for two years, and its an affordable, good place to live. Many of the problems others reviews have mentioned are rooted in the UTSA student culture (not the Luxx). If youre looking to live near UTSA, its hard to find a better deal than here, in my opinion. (Ive looked around.) The facilities are good here, and the staff are so kind. If youd like to live in a quiet spot, just tell them and theyll give you a room not near the pool. Theyve always been warm and responsive to me.

Great place to live near UTSA Main Campus! Very affordable for the whole 4 year experience at college. You have access to anice swimming pool, a volleyball area and two indoor exercise facilities as well as one outside.

Do not sign a lease here. I had multiple issues moving in including being lied to about when I could move in. Stating the previous tenant moved out late when they actually moved out over a month prior. Lots of damage to the furniture in the units. Reported it and still charged me when I moved out. I did not have a good experience with staff as they are rude and unwilling to help.

Luxx was good at first, the apartments can be low-quality and a little dirty but that’s normal for student housing. Maintenance takes forever to fix stuff but that’s also normal around here. Rooms are tiny but I also signed up for that.My problems started this fall when I started having issues with my roommates, including destruction of property and physical threats against my other roommate. Me and my other roommate had plans to move out in secret to not cause further drama, but the Luxx leasing office mentioned to my “bad” roommates that we were moving out INLCUDING the specific dates our leases ended, even though they were already aware of the harrassment. I expressed my anger to Alexis the manager that she disclosed private info about my lease and she basically denied everything and told me to call the police if I feel like I’m in danger, even though there was no way for my roommate to know we were moving out that day. Zero support.Also, they charge a $20 fee to pay rent online and then have weird office hours/are closed so you usually don’t get the opportunity to pay with a money order and are forced to pay the $20.And, FOUR TIMES within one week they approved my gym reservation on a day they were closed and knew I wouldn’t have access to the gym.Girls in the front office are consistently rude and unwelcoming.Leasing office doesn’t tell you about an outstanding balance until the week you have to pay it and it’s only via one single email, and they don’t tell you what the fee is for. I was out of town for the holidays when they charged me $50 for a fee that was only payable in person (I had to pay between Dec 21-29 when I was hundreds of miles away)Go to The Reserve, Prado, Estates, or Oxly for something better. Skip Luxx.

The property is beautiful! But the leashing agents make it impossible to renew a lease threw myself and others who wanted to renew our leases in July of 2020 out. Messing with my income and my employment status as a full time remote contract. The office manger Jessica did absolutely nothing but cower behind her desk and never once reached out to me via email or phone call when I original applied over a small misunderstanding about DBA vs LLC means for my paychecks. And her employees delaying my move in in the first place last spring of 2020 by 4 months. Their regional manger is the only one who was willing to work with me to obtain the sublet I moved into last year god bless her. When it was time to renew I specifically specified I would be opened to moving in to another one bedroom. Two were open at the time and the office staff was told to lease them to others despite my intentions. Keep in mind I paid rent on time and up front and was treated awful! My maintenance requests were completely ignored and not put in at all. I would have to call multiple times to even get them in and taken care of 3 weeks later. When I addressed that I might have been exposed to Covid -19 and that I needed to follow cdc guidelines and extend the lease by two weeks they still refused to work with me. One leasing agent in particular makes me getting a lease exceptional hard! I can’t tell if it’s a personal issue she has with me. But I can tell you I feel discriminated against! I have tried to take over another new sublet and the same leasing agent last name Guerra. She won’t use my old application makes me apply with a a new one. She then says I don’t qualify has a women who I think is with regional Lauren reach out to me tells me that unless I apply for leap as a guantor and if I qualify then they will let me in! I am sorry what?! 😡 Why in the world would I need to qualify as a guantor when I was right there a tenet self qualified last year, it’s on her people that made sure I couldn’t get my lease renewed and ruined my local business. If anybody is going to be my guantor then this property needs to be it and give me my old apartment rent free cause I could have been living there in a new apartment last August no issues and no problems and happy to pay rent now! I am still homeless, finical ruined and now I want them to pay the rent if they offered the apartment . They are letting others move in without as any problems and I have friends who tell me that still live on property.That front office staff is wayyyy more trouble than they are worth!

I wouldnt recommend The Luxx to anyone.1. Took my son to go look the place. Showed us their model rooms. They look nice. Move in day, his apartment they gave him wasnt even close to the model apartment. Not very nice at all.2. He applied for a 9 month lease and was approved. Unbeknownst to me, they had him come in early and they put a 12 month lease in front of him and had him sign. I wasnt aware until the following spring when I was about to move him home for the summer and they threw out he signed a 12 month lease. I was forced to pay for the summer 3 months3. This spring, tacked on $12 a month for renters insurance when hes show them more than once he already has it. Him and I have both disputed it but they wont budge. They wont even take my rent money unless is includes the extra $12. I had heard this place will nickel and dime you.......what you read is correct!4. All the great amenities they talk about? Pool is down most of the time. The maintenance crew takes months to fix little things in the apartments.Renter BEWARE! RUN!

Do not live here. They are a bunch of money grabbers and will try to scam as much money out of you as possible (look at other reviews, i.e. 9 month lease turned into 12 months). Would give 0 stars if I could, just look for somewhere else to live. P.S. Rooms look NOTHING like the models they show you.

Worst apartment complex. These are some of the problems I had living there: my washer flooded my apartment, my kitchen sink flooded, my toilet flooded my bathroom, dishwasher was broken, microwave was broken, and there was a roach problem. Some of these problems eventually got fixed after putting in several maintenance requests. During the tour, they say how they’re pet friendly and told me I could have my dog from home visit. This is a lie. I told them I’d be cat sitting for a weekend, and they charged me for it. The office does not give a straight answer for anything. One time, they claimed they lost my rent check and were trying to charge me late fees. Not to mention, I almost got ran over and into several car accidents because the parking lot has no speed bumps so residents just go as fast as they want. Do yourself a favor, and don’t live here. The rooms are so small, and it is overpriced. There are plenty of better options.

My roommates tires were stolen twice during our lease! Walls are extremely thin too which makes it easy to hear noises from surrounding apartments! Please do NOT lease here!

The person that showed us around seemed to hate their life, we didn’t feel welcomed at all and for what they were asking the units seemed pretty rundown. Also.... it’s covid....why they were holding their mask in hand throughout the tour and not wearing it is beyond me but who knows maybe your experience will be better. I’d like to give this place the benefit of the doubt but I personally will not be living here.

There’s always something going on here, something breaking, someone’s being loud as hell, or the wait for maintenance repairs is incredible, there are so many security issues here, save your money and stay away from here. The gates are always broken.

The elevators never work which is annoying. The people that live here are inconsiderate of people that have a job such as being loud at all hours of the night. Some of the office staff are rude and seem uninterested in being there. Looked better online too.

My daughter is currently staying here and i absolutely love the care and attention they give. The manager Victoria has been a blessing. Knowing I have her watching over my baby girl brings peace in my heart.The apartments are super clean with a well laid out plan. Also, assigned parking is highly recommended. Just knowing my daughter will always have a place to park close to her room was a great investment.I recommend a group of friends staying together because assigned roommates could be a challenge. But regardless, you can count on management to correct any problems (if any).I only have one small thing to add: make sure all hall way & stairway lighting is working for your safety. That has been the only issue that wasn’t corrected by maintenance.Other than that....i highly recommend it!!Thank you

I am going on my 3rd year living at these apartments and its been nothing but a blast. Cool events weekly, always doing giveaways, and actually treating you like family rather than just a resident. Would recommend to anyone, UTSA or non-UTSA students. :)

First off this is not a “luxurious” apartment. This complex is cheap, poorly designed, and ran by penny pinching robots. The management is a team of unhelpful people. I do not recommend moving here at all. The washer and dryer are cheap and break all the time. Building C has a plumbing issue, which causes a foul smell coming from the pipes. This affects bathroom and kitchen sinks, as well as the toilet, washer and dishwasher. The maintenance team has to be called multiple times before they show up to maybe fix half the problem. They don’t even check with you before moving in roommates with pets as if there aren’t people with allergies to fur or fears of animals. Occasionally they will send out fraud emails claiming you owe a small or large fee for acts that did not take place such as, pet fees when you don’t own an animal, or for unexplained damages. This management should be ashamed for trying to take advantage of young adults. I could go on about problems here, but the location is nice and convenient for students. Be careful at night because they’re too cheap to put lights at the front of the driveway.

What a mistake to have moved my goddaughter into this complex. Kriszti lived here for the UTSA school year 2019-2020. Elevator was continually broken, trash service problems, pool closed for numerous issues, and fitness center was closed for way too long. The staff always had an excuse for why something was not working and would not be truthful about how long it could be for the repair. When her AC unit was not working I had to email the corporate headquarters to get results. We had such high hopes but were very disappointed.

We are very satisfied & excited to have found this beautiful Student Living Apt for our daughter. We absolutely love the floor plan and all amenities offered! The place is in great condition & I especially love the fact that my daughter has her own full bathroom & carport reserved parking. I highly recommend this place and Im grateful for an amazing staff! Victoria the manager has been absolutely superb!! Great job to her all her staff 👍Thank you God for placing great people in our baby girls second home!

Buyer beware. The Luxx will attempt to charge you for another year past the one year contract based on phone calls - then use threats of reporting to credit bureaus to attempt to collect. We were there for 11 months paid for 12 and their personnel would not accept keys when we left. Their personnel stated I needed to mail them in after the 12 month period. Read fine print!

Recently, I began looking at the Luxx as a potential off-campus housing option for the 2019-2020 school year at UTSA. I began my application process, not being aware of the 48-hour deadline for a promotion they had going on. I received a text from one of the leasing agents letting me know of the deadline. She helped me until all my application and lease was complete, which mind you, was close to 11:30 pm. This just goes to show how willing the company/employees are to help you out. They couldve just allowed the deadline to pass and be able to collect higher rent but they notified me and helped me to secure my promotional discount. This goes to show the commitment of the employees. I was very pleased with the customer service. The leasing agents were also very helpful and informative when I went to tour the complex, all around my experience has been very well so far. Hopefully, the same will occur as I move into and live at the Luxx.

I moved in May 2018 & I have not received my mailbox key. When I go to the office they just tell me that they’ll have it made within a couple of weeks. This has been going on since June.Also, I submitted a maintenance request November 18th and it STILL HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED.The gate is open half the time. So yes, we do have a gate but it’s always broken. So don’t think this is a “limited access community”If you things being taken care of in a timely manner this is not the place for you.

I recently moved in and absolutely love it here! The office staff is so friendly and professional. But most importantly, the maintenance staff is wonderful. Luis came by this morning and took care of all the work orders I placed, I could not be more thankful. He was very detailed with all his work, he cleaned up and made sure he left everything the way it initially was. I could tell he genuinely wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with the work he completed. Im so glad to finally be a resident of this complex and deal with their diligent maintenance and office employees.

I lived here at the Luxx my freshman year of attending UTSA and I loved it. The modern style apartments and Vegas style pool are beautiful. They have great amenities like their two story gym, access to computers and printers, and the shuttle bus that takes you to school. The club house has a lot of great things you can do especially when they have events which are really cute like pancake night. The only one problem with my apartment was taken care of quite quickly by maintenance. The front office was always helpful, one exception worker Urban, I remember helped me a lot with questions and was always so nice and prompt. It was a great first year experience!

Please see updates below.Do NOT live here. The staff all give you different answers to any question you have and most of them have no idea what is going on. Four of us signed (6 months before our move in date) for an apartment together and a month before move in they give us our room assignments and had us all completely split up. We contacted them and they were extremely rude and said there was no way they could fix it. ON TOP of this, they do not even have the correct lease information. They are trying to charge me $80 more per month than what my actual lease says. Overall this has been such a pain in the ass and I would never recommend working with these people to anyone I care about.UPDATE: They finally fixed our roommate situation and my rent amount. This was still such a ridiculous problem for me to deal with so I will change my rating from 1 star to 3 stars for the time being.UPDATE 2: After living at The Luxx for a few months following our move in issues detailed above, I can now say I am happy with my living situation. The staff/management have fixed all of my issues and I have no problems with the complex at the time I am writing this update. I am changing my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars.

Would be nice if property was maintained. Management and sales reps are sketch. Honest opinion and warning. Even asked around to residents got told that his ac hasn’t been functional since he moved in for the term. Very evasive and foregoing personal DONT recommend to anyone. INSANELY MISLEADING: property has sales reps write obviously biased reviews to make up for their very real low and less than stellar reviews by residents. (Hate to call you out but, Jasper one of the sales associates is guilty of this kind of biased review)

Theres a lot to love about this property. But its definitely not their choice of tow companies. I admit I was wrong and did not read the signage correctly. But to be disrespected and cussed at by a tow company employee was unnecessary. Hopefully theyll look into working with a company that can show a little class.

I would honestly not recommend living here to anyone that’s looking for a serious place to live. When I was looking for an apartment I found these and they looked fine so I ignored all of the negative reviews. Please take them into account because they’re there for a reason. Lived there for 2 years (till 2017) at the 4 bedroom apt:-If I was locked out (my own fault) they were quick to send someone to open the door.-Packages always arrived on time and I was notified.-Gym was always clean and organized- Service requests were done in a timely manner.-CON: this is student housing so make sure you buy a lot of ear plugs if youre planning on sleeping early (or sleeping on the weekend)

I have been complaining about the elevator for the past one month. I live with my husband here in very critical high risk pregnancy, where I can’t walk. I have been postponing the Doctor’s appointment believing that the elevator would be repaired as the staffs said. What the point of speaking about the plus when I just have to risk my life by living here.

Last year, I lived in a 4 bedroom and I did not have the best experience. The carpet and the mattress were not comfortable. My roommates were not the cleanest or friendliest people, but the staff made living at the Luxx a lot better. I enjoyed attending most of the events that were held at the property and I liked how much the staff cares about its residents. Alexis, one of the employees, was always kind and patient with all my complaints. I would recommend anyone looking for student housing to live at the Luxx.

I love the vibe here! All the events that are put on by the community assistants every month are so fun. I just went to a nacho bar event put on by Urban and he did amazing. Nacho cheese was on point. Other amazing CAs I have to rave about are Macy and Joseph. Thank you for making my time here at the Luxx the best!

I would like to compliment the Luxx on the amazing front office staff they have in place.  We visited the Luxx on Sat and were greeted by Joseph Landrey.  He made an amazing first impression; immediately offering to give us a tour of the complex.  The tour was thorough and it’s was very obvious that he felt a great sense of pride in the complex.  We really appreciate the time Joseph took with us.  He patiently answered our questions and assisted with the application process.  Joseph also followed up immediately via email with some additional questions we had.  He is an amazing representative of the Luxx and we thank him so much for his time and assistance..

Do not live here! I read the awful reviews and didnt listen, I should have! I moved into my apartment it was extremely dirty and had roaches I had to clean it myself. The management is no help everytime I had issues none of them were addressed. My vehicle got stolen off the property. Conveniently the gate and cameras were both broken.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! The amenities are beyond great and I feel such a high and welcoming energy whenever I walk into the Office. They really go all out on residents events and that is what makes living here so cool. I really feel like more than a resident, I feel apart of the community.

The Luxx charges a convenience fee anytime you pay online. Not just a one time setup fee. My bank said they arent supposed to be able to do this. Only municipals are allowed to charge convenience fees.

Beautiful apartments! The worker upfront named Urban was the whole reason I even signed a lease in the first place! He is so sweet and made me feel so welcomed! Urban goes to extra lengths to help me out when needed! He’s so helpful! The luxx is a great college living apartment complex!

Very friendly staff that are willing to accommodate you. Great living environment and the shuttle helps get you to class without having to find parking. The gym is pretty clean and theres never a lot of people in it at once so you can workout without having to wait for machines. Maintenance requests are usually pretty quick to get done.

Incompetent and unprofessional staff at the leasing office. I was given an appointment for a tour for 2pm and when I visited their office the person supposed to be attending me had left for the day. Moreover all details shared on call was denied & I was said they are false with an excuse that the staff is new. Not a good experience.

If no star were an option that’s what I would choose. Lived here for 2 years and it’s been a roller coaster ride. Everything’s always breaking in the apartment and they will charge you for the smallest things. Maintenance has “inspections” all the time so they’re constantly in your room at 8am while you’re trying to sleep. Management will try to fine you any chance they get. Management doesn’t care about their residents at all. Recently there was a mold problem where a few residents actually got sick. Cops and ambulances are always showing up here. I’ve had friends who have been robbed here at the Luxx. Do not move here, save your money and go anywhere else. Save Yourself!The good reviews are fake, they give you free stuff to write a good review.

I Love this property! It is wonderful student housing with a great office staff. The apartments are modern and the pool is awesome Las Vegas style. And, they have great events for the residents! My student lives there and I feel they are more secure there. Wish I was a student again, so I could live there!

Ive lived at the Luxx for a year and a half now and its been great. In my opinion its the best student housing at UTSA has to offer. Maintenance is always on-time with service requests, and the best part is just how DOG FRIENDLY this complex is. It has a large park for your fur babies to run around in. The park recently got a update thanks to Joey and now it has mulch so the dogs dont get stickers in their little paws. CA Joey cares a lot about our four-legged friends and has always been very friendly to myself and residents. He also hosts some pretty awesome and creative events. If you are reading this and thinking about moving in, ask for a unit in building 3. Overall, I give the Luxx a 5/5.

I signed at the Luxx and I’m super excited to live there this fall! Bryanna helped me through the process as well as gave my parents and I a tour, she is AMAZING and has continued to be so helpful to me even after signing. The space is very clean and the apartament has such a nice layout. I toured many other apartments and these were my favorite as it’s amenities such as their two story gym, Vegas, style pool, and location are outstanding. I never take the time to write reviews but this had to be made, 10/10 recommended !

I signed my lease here in late January for the fall 2017 with 2 other friends we were told it would be no problem being roommates. Now its July and I was just informed that Ill be living with 3 completely random people, Ive tried to email and call multiple times and havent gotten any where its like management doesnt even care. Decent on the eye but HORRIBLE management! I just went to the front office to complain for the FOURTH time since move in that my room had not been cleaned! There were cobwebs in every corner of the ceiling, dozens of dead insects on the floor and window, at least ten pieces of dried chewing gum on the floor and walls. It was filthy and I had to put my own time and money into cleaning it. The TV doesnt work, the fan in the living room spins backwards, pushing all the air up, and theres A LOT more wrong with my 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom flat. Additionally, when I finally went down to talk to the manager, she refused to speak to me?! Instead sending someone in and out of the office to talk for her. EXTREMELY unprofessional and inappropriate service. They wouldnt even discount my rent for a month to reimburse for the inconvenience of having to endure this terrible service. I would give zero stars if I could. Sad because the place has potential too... DO NOT LIVE HERE UNDER THE CURRENT MANAGEMENT.

The only place I know that tows their own residents for parking wrong in a COMPACT parking and made me pay FULL price to get it back. Rooms not even worth the value. My bathroom had multiple issues and maintenance dont treat your belongings with respect. My A/C continues to mess up once a week and emailing them does no help to a solution. I encourage yall not sign or renew your lease here.

This place was THE WORST experience I had! ITS BEEN 3 YEARS. I had a medical issue and NO ONE, NOT EVEN THE ACTING MANAGER was able to help me get out of my lease early. He was also replaced about 3 times. The Asst. Manager was so rude and completely violated the HIPPA laws when nosing into my health condition. I had a medical excuse and doctors notes. Instead of working with me, and without notice, they pushed me aside and sent me to COLLECTIONS. 2 weeks later my ex-roommates all received an e-mail to get out of their lease early. I tried going in and speaking to the acting manager personally, emailed and called them, no answer. Now I have the hardest time finding a place because of the broken lease. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. WORST COMPLEX AND MANAGEMENT TEAM EVER.I STILL HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM THEM.

2-Wheel Resident:I would like recognize one of the employees that has helped me out numerous times with my different requests. One of the things I struggled the most with at the Luxx apartments was the covered parking situation for my vehicle. Oscar (Luxx Employee) informed me that he would take in a personal interest on helping me find a room that gave me clear visibility on my motorcycle from my window. Not only did Oscar help me out on finding a new room, he also was able to find one on the same floor that I lived on so my transition between rooms was pretty simple. I want to appreciated all his efforts on helping me find a room and all other issues he helped me through too. I would like to recognize his efforts at helping me be a happy resident here at the Luxx. Thank you.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!This place has been horrible since the day I moved in. When I first got into our apartment it was filthy dirty and had clearly not been touched since the previous renters. There was old food in the cabinets, clothes in the closet, and hair everywhere. We called the office to let them know 4 different times and they never came. Dont even bother calling maintenance for anything, they take FOREVER to come if they come at all. One time I made a request for something to get fixed and not only did they not come, they sent me an email saying that they had fixed the problem that day even though I was home the whole day and they had never even came!! It is definitely not worth the $600 I pay a month. The stairwells are disgusting, you can find anything from beer cans, food, to even poop from people who dont know how to clean up after their dogs. To top it all off, my room and our kitchen recently flooded and they blamed it on me, which it was NOT my fault, with no evidence and they are trying to charge me $213 FOR SOMETHING I DIDNT EVEN DO! I even have witnesses saying it wasnt my fault. There is nothing I regret more than moving into The Luxx. It ruined my experience of moving out for the first time.

You are honestly better off living at any other off campus student housing. This might the worst one I have ever lived in. When I first moved in they had me wait about 2 hours because they didn’t have my keys for the apartment. They also charge me the full 620 for 2 months ( when I sign for the 561 a month) I had to talk to management more then a couple of times before they fixed the issue. When I first got to my room it was dirty and full of roaches. There was still stains on the toilet bowl. Roaches all in the dresser and restroom sink. My floor boards were coming off when I moved in. It the first day I haven’t even been in my room more than an hour. and when I asked about it getting fix or about getting rid of the roaches I was told there was nothing they can do because I already have moved in. Maintained is nonexistent my roommate try to see if he could get the apartment fumigated and he never receive any respond so he gave up. They will also try to charge you for everything. I got charge for a person who spend a night after we went out. And they charge me because they believe the girl was staying there with me. It’s college and sometimes you might have someone over for a night. But the fact they will charge you for it? It’s stupid. I had live in other off campus student apartment and never once management charge me for a visitor. It’s like the space you pay for isn’t even yours and can’t have the same person over more than once or they will charge you. Management just walks in without even giving you a heads up. Coming in at 8am just to look at the carpet. I also got charge for a dog that I didn’t even have. Also they are the worst with picking up trash. They give you a time your trash need to be out and somehow no one ever picks it up. There been time I walked into the hallway and see other people trash sitting there for 2 or 3 days straight.I am telling you the luxx is the worst place to stay if you are a student they will try to charge you money even before your lease is up. Most student apartment will wait and bill you after leave but the luxx puts it on your current rent due and expect you to pay all of it in full. As a student you have enough to pay for and the fact they are always trying charge you for something new every month is stupid. Also forget trying to speak to management it’s almost impossible to reach them most of the time they are either not there or the email address you are given never receive your email.You are better stay anywhere else but here.

My daughter has lived at two other student housing apartments in the area and had horrible experiences leaving her in frustration with them. This year she loves her roommates dearly and is very pleased with her experience there. Everyone must realize apartments are not perfect and there will be minor flaws that is life. If you handle the situation professionally so will they and everything will be resolved in a timely manner.

Terrible maintenance the washers keep breaking down, the sinks and bath tubs clog easily maintenance take their precious time before coming to your room. The trash people don’t even pick all your trash yet it’s a fee we have to pay, the stairways are dirty, their gate wants to be a toll road so bad the money is not worth it at all. And they like to claim you didn’t pay for certain things when you did so they can get more money out of you . Living at that place gave me all types of unnecessary stress

Please don’t live at The Luxx. They do not communicate. The water has been shut off twice in the last 2 weeks. They have given little to no information. I have lived here for 2 years and it has just gotten worse! Maintenance is slow to get to you when a work order is placed, but there always in the clubhouse playing pool. Maintence has entered my apartment 5 times in the last 3 months for things other than a service request. I understand inspections must be done but I also feel lied too. They enter the apartment when nobody is home and leave lights on. Are they paying my bill? Every week there’s always something broken. The gate never works, the package room is always down. There is always disfunction. I don’t blame management for noise complaints because these are college apartments. But they have to do better. Things must change, I don’t blame the student workers I blame management. Many apartments have had roaches and mold. They will bribe you to live here, please don’t take the bribe. Live somewhere else it isn’t worth it. It looks nice on the outside but everything about these apartments are terrible. I will not be renewing! Please do better.

The dog park has tons of burrs(stickers), and lacks grass, trees and shade. Very few residents use the dog park for fear of the burrs and heat. The amenities, while nice to look at, were almost always broken or closed. I lived at the Luxx for three years and in that time, the pool was open maybe 20% of the time, the gym 40% and the grills 10%. I also had problems with my cable that I had brought to their attention weekly, but it took them nine months to fix, and they fixed it two weeks before I was set to move out.

This place is absolutely horrible! Please do not waste your time and money. My package was stolen from their “secured” mail room, maintenance comes in all hours unannounced and leaves a mess in your apartment and does not fix anything, the water pipes break every other day leaving you without water for hours, bugs, and just so many other things. Paying almost $800 a month and it’s not even worth $300. Management could give rats a$$ about their residents.

One of the worst apartments Ive ever lived in, and Ive lived in the ghetto before. The complex may look nice, but it is being run down by some of the nastiest tenants; people who leave broken glass by the pool and trash in the halls and on the stairs. The trash system itself is beyond stupid- its a fly and gnat-infested room on every floor that people fling their trash bags into and outside and it smells ALL the way down the hallway. All of this might be forgivable considering the fact that it is student living, but the staff is even worse. On a good day, the staff is more than incompetent. I had a 7 month lease here, and I didnt even get my mail keys until 5 months in, and before that I had to get the staff to check for my mail regularly. I had gone in to the office one day to see if anything had come for me, and the girl checked the computer and said no. I was looking on her desk and found the exact letter I was looking for RIGHT IN FRONT of her face. This is just one example, but there are plenty others. Ive always been a full-time student, and one of the absolute worst things about this place is the fact that wifi is constantly going out. In 7 months, it has gone out more than 6 times for more than just a couple of hours. This is the worst! Note: rooms are also so tiny and beds extremely uncomfortable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
