They are quick, my main drain was clogged, i called them yesterday evening. I received their call first thing in the morning. They were here within 20 minutes. They are professional, knowledgeable, Kris & Keith explained everything to me. Their prices are affordable. I would highly recommend using their service if anyone has plumbing issues trust them.

Kris and Keith unclogged sewage drain, and showed me the the problem with the drain. They explained repair needed. Very thorough and professional. They took the necessary time even though it was end of day.

Today I had Lance from Neerings Plumbing come and unclog the drain in my apartment. He was very knowledgeable and made sure to give the best information possible. Upon realizing that the problem was due to the common drain in the building he informed me what steps to take to get reimbursed from the HOA. He went out of his way to make sure we didn’t overpay and potentially save us money. I would definitely recommend Neerings to someone in need of a plumber.

Mike Flores did an AMAZING job, he may have saved not only my swamp cooler, but also my roof! He was kind, professional, and so easy to work with. Jon and Ammon were very professional and friendly. They explained the work they were going to do and answered my random questions I asked during installation of our tankless water heater. They were respectful of the living area they had to get through to get to the water heater location and cleaned up after themselves leaving the area as good as it was before they came. They gave me adequate instruction on how to use the system and let me know that if I have any questions or problems after they left to call their office and somebody would help me out.

The Technician, Lance, was very helpful and curious. We had them check our water heater that had leaked. Lance explained their process and was very knowledgeable and polite. The technician came the day we had called. I recommend using them.

I had my old evaporation cooler replaced. Jacob and Trenton were real pros and dealt with the idiosyncrasies of my house/cooler and did a great job. Also very pleasant. I am very pleased with how responsive and effective the whole effort was.

I had an evaporative cooler replaced. They were able to work me into the schedule on a days notice. There were some issues with compatibility with the new unit and the old framework and electric systems. But Greg and Pablo were able to troubleshoot the system and make the necessary adjustments to make it all work correctly and safely.

So so happy that my regular plumber was too busy to come help with my emergency. Will never use anyone but Neerings now! Tyson was able to get here a half an hour earlier than expected, super knowledgeable, crazy efficient and so very nice. He made a messy expensive situation much more bearable and actually pleasant. A/C went out on the hottest day ever!!! We got a response early this morning from Neerings and HVAC specialist Norm was here quickly. It was time for new furnace and A/C. Very informative visit, beyond just this is what is wrong with the unit, they gave me more information about how the AC systems work and how to properly take care of them. They record the incoming call so the service techs can listen to why you called, which was nice because then I didnt have to repeat myself when they got here. They knew why they were here and brought all the right tools to get the job done. They gave me options and their recommendation but werent pushy. They let me decide what I felt was the best option for us given our current circumstances. 4 not 5 because the visit took 3 hours. It was a big chunk of my workday.

Mark and Brynn came to do an entire meter and panel upgrade on the house. They were informative and responsive to any questions I had and got the job done in no time. I was only without power a few hours for a whole system overhaul. Their customer service is top notch, they even stayed late just to thoroughly clean up.

The Neerings technicians arrived at our home quickly, and they were professional, communicative, and thorough. We had our basement drain backing up into the house -- they evaluated the situation, provided us a reasonable estimate, and got to work clearing the main sewer line from our house to the street. While they were down there, they scoped the pipe and sat down with us to guide us through the camera feed with what they did and what issues still remain with our pipe, from intruding roots that will be on ongoing issue, to separated clay pipe segments, to aging cast iron. They were patient with our questions, provided some advice, and gave us an estimate for the sewer line repair work. Would recommend and use them again!

I had the best experience with this company! I just moved to Utah and was having an issue with my master bath jetted bathtub button and drain. The team: Kris B. & Santana came over, brought their own booties and took really great care of my home. They were very kind and professional. Neerings sent a technician to work on our swamp cooler much faster than other companies. They were professional and punctual, and restored the power to our roof unit.However, they wanted to charge $1000 to replace a $200 motor that didnt need replacing, and a failure to properly tension the belt left the unit making noises and not transferring power to the fan drum. 10 minutes, a hammer and some nuts and bolts, and I have fixed it myself.

Both Keith and Shayne were very professional and delivered great service! They walked me through everything step by step and cleaned up any messes made (which were minimal). The company gets dinged a star for cost only. It was waaaay more expensive than I had anticipated to unclog a shower drain. Other than that, awesome.

Have used bearings for years and never had any issues at all. Had them come out today to quote a bearing replacement and float replacement. They informed I would need a new blower shaft as well. The total cost of the 3 items needed is under $25 however I was quoted almost $1200. The last time they were out and one of their techs told me I needed a new bearing he even said he’d have done it for free it was so easy and cheap but didn’t have any on him. A $6.99 float valve replacement was quoted as $192. Bearing replacement $1,000! Unless you’re charging $500 per hour and this is the first time you’ve ever done this, this is an insanely large quote. Too bad 7 years and have used them for all my services including furnace. Guess that stops now.

Neerings was the only plumber I could get to come out the same day to deal with our water leak. The plumber was very nice and they did a very good job. However the price was extremely high. Probably will look for something a little more reasonable in price next time.

Our water heater died and flooded our basement. Within an hour of making a call I had two technicians at my house ready to help. They replaced our water heater and added a water softener the same afternoon so there was minimal disruption for our family. This is not an honest group. We called because of a clogged kitchen sink drain. They came and gave us a quote of $450 because there was no clean out which made the job more challenging. I asked how much would it be if we did have a clean out and he said $325!!Most other quotes we got were in the $100-$150 range. We called another company and they came and cleaned the drain, didn’t mention anything a out lack of a clean out.These guys are commissioned based it seems so expect the pricing to be reflected by that.Neerings also charges a $49 dispatch fee. No other groups did that. When I said I didn’t want to pay a $49 dispatch fee in case their pricing was outrageous and we’d be stuck with that fee, they relented and removed that cost.I’d stay away from this group and go with the dozens of other plumbing companies in SLC.

This was a semi annual inspection and an AC install.They replaced my shower head and checked out the water heater. Chris and Chris were both thorough, professional, and friendly. The AC team was also excellent... got done in record time and explained everything thoroughly. I will always recommend Neerings

I was TOTALLY impressed by the efficient service that Tyson and Tony delivered. They installed a new modern garbage disposal unit finally solving a long time problem and also solved why there was no water pressure or hot water in our shower (despite there being no such issue in the kitchen and bathroom sinks) — my wife is now exceedingly happy! They also went the extra mile by diagnosing and fixing an electrical issue of which we weren’t previously aware. Neering is VERY fortunate to have such quality people working for them...

I needed the evaporative cooler prepared for the new season. The technician was prompt, polite, dog-friendly. We had a wrinkle with a broken water line and he promptly repaired that. He was transparent on needs and expectations. i recommend him and Neering.

Called Nearings for dishwasher issues because they did such a good job with our swamp cooler that Quick Quality Plumbing installed and could not fix multiple issues with. The tech had our swamp cooler fixed in 45 minutes.Unfortunately our experience with our dishwasher issue wasnt the same. My Dad is a multiple cancer survivor who recently had a liver transplant. He was pretty sure that he knew what the issue was and that the dishwasher just needed the drain hose unclogged. The tech was here about 40 minutes total. For the first 30 minutes he looked under the sink and really didnt do anything. At about that 30 minute Mark he ended up breaking the drain hose off of the garbage disposal and saying that it was already cracked even though there had been no previous leaking from the cracked hose. The tech then took all of his gear outside and said he was going to look for a plug for the garbage disposal. After about 5 minutes he came back in and said he couldnt find a plug. The tech then asked where the nearest hardware stores were which are about 5 minutes away. He said he was going to go buy a new hose and would be back Monday to install it. Right before leaving he wanted my dad to sign an invoice to prepay for $492. This $492 that he wanted my dad to prepay for was just for the hose and installing the hose. My dad said No he wasnt comfortable with that and he said he would just pay him the $89 for the dispatch fee. The tech then ended up declining charging him the $89 and ended up leaving without my Dad paying anything. We went to multiple hardware stores looking for a dishwasher hose that was long enough but couldnt find any, I then looked online and found the perfect length for about $20 I ordered it and two days later it was here. That same day we installed it in about 20 minutes and fixed our dishwasher issue that the technician wanted to charge us $492 for. I would absolutely recommend Neerings for swamp cooler issues but would never recommend them for dishwasher issues.

TL:DR - Neerings is overpriced and doesnt actually fix things.Update: Neerings contacted me back and offered a refund. Raised a star for professionalism.I hired Neerings to clean and prepare my Swamp Cooler to run for the summer. It is an older cooler that the previous homeowners didnt take good care of, and was in need of a *professional* cleaning, and likely a new coat of sealant. (A DIYer like me hires a pro for their time, tools, and know-how)The tech convinced me to purchase a service contract ($318) that included them getting it ready in spring and winterizing it in the fall. I told him great, but I still needed it cleaned, and possibly repaired.So, the tech got on the roof, couldnt pull one of the panels, gave up, pulled a different one, plugged the motor and pump in and had me test it. The motor worked (its new, of course it did), the pump did not. Any easy fix, right?No. they dont fix things, I have to go buy the pump and get up on the roof and do that myself. Oh, and the pads need replacing. They dont do that either. (So wait... what is this spring service for?)But you will clean it out? Sure.So, he tells me he swept it out, and put it back together and wants me to pay $318.I refused, since he didnt perform the service indicated (the cooler is NOT functional, and he advised me to just buy a new one - for the same price Id been quoted for installing A/C by other companies), but I said Id pay for a service fee.They charged me $204. To sweep the cooler, remove the tarp, and plug in the motor, and walk away with it not functional. So I bit the bullet and paid.Oh, and that sweeping? I got up there today to fix the Swamp Cooler myself. He hadnt done it. There was leaves and dirt, and all sorts of things still inside the cooler (You can see the pictures attached). 3 minutes of sweeping it with a kitchen broom and it was 10x cleaner.So really, I paid $204 (almost $318!) for the tech to .... plug in the motor, and remove the tarp.

Mark came out and helped answer my questions that I had about some electrical on my home. He was extremely thorough and made sure I understood everything. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to get someone who knows what they are talking about and not just trying to sell you on every service in the book.
