I love OBriens Salon in Rutland! I always worry about finding a good place to get my hair cut, as Ive had my share of tough places! I started going to OBriens on a recommendation, and that was six years ago, They are super clean, professional, friendly, and do an awesome job - I cant recommend it enough. Thank you Lisa and OBriens for being awesome!

I have been going to see Lisa at OBriens for years. She and the rest of the staff are warm and friendly, and are great stylists. I highly recommend them and have the opportunity to do so frequently!

I’ve been going to O’Brien’s for around 10 years. I usually see Lisa, but have also gone to Cathy. Both are excellent. I’m a very picky client, but I trust them to use their judgement when something I’m looking for may or may not work or may need some adjustments to best compliment my facial features. Their attention to detail, patience, and experience are what ultimately keep me coming back. I love their work.Also, if you’re looking to get an up-do for a formal event, definitely go to O’Brien’s. I thought my asymmetrical haircut was impossible to look formal enough for a wedding. With her help and expertise, Lisa was able to make my hair beautiful!

I dont understand the bad reviews. My sister made me an appointment there when we were there on vacation and the service was wonderful everyone was very friendly and the place was very clean. I dont remember the name of the girl who cut my hair but she did a wonderful job exactly what I wanted. Getting ready to come up next week I hope I can get in to see her again I highly recommend this salon I drive 7 hours to get to it LOL

I tried the Rutland O’Brien’s salon today and it was a great choice. I’ve been going to their salon at the University Mall in Burlington for a few years, but recently tried a different salon with a bad result. When my hair was ready for a new cut, I decided to try the location in Rutland. Karen did an amazing cut, going from having a heavy shoulder length drab bob to a cute, short razor cut. She was very nice, too! I went to cosmetology school so I know when someone is really good at their craft. We talked about doing hair, color, perms, and shampoo sets we used to do with color washes... just a fun overall experience. I’ll defiantly go back!

So like most woman I have a hairdresser or two that I go to regularly. Yesterday I thought Id try someone different and without a reference. Well, to my pleasant surprise I got a GREAT haircut by a new hair dresser on their staff - her name is Katie. She did a fantastic job of listening and although only out of school for less than a year I have to tell you its the best haircut Ive gotten in a while. Thanks!

Best place in town! I wouldnt think of going anywhere else for all my hair care needs! Karen has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 10 years and she is amazing! The whole staff is very professional and friendly! They are the greatest!

I cannot possibly say enough about the staff (specifically Kathryn). Everyone is so friendly and easy to work with. As a self proclaimed stylist jumper I am proud to say this has ended. Strongly recommend this salon to anyone and everyone!

So for the 2nd time of coming here I yet again got another bad cut!!! It took months for me to get the courage to even come back, just for my hopes to be crushed again. The lady told me she was going to do one cut, to then do a whole completely other cut. I watched her through the mirror go to cut my hair then stop to listen to her co-workers as they were talking to only their clients. I understand the female I had was young this time,(both times actually), but she didnt only mess the cut up, she also ruined my eyebrow s. She waxed too much off one side an not enough on the other. I wouldnt recommend anyone I know to ever come here. Not even my male friends. Wasted money an the time growing all my hair back out. Lesson learned

Omg, never again. Gave them 3 chances, the last girl that allegedly cut my hair had a hangover with an attitude.

Called to make an appointment for my sister for single process for short hair. I Asked the woman on the phone what the price would be and she said she couldnt tell me. So I asked for just the approximate range or what the prices start at and how much it would be to also include a hair cut and finish. She said $99. So i asked what the color alone would cost and she said $90. Either way, both sound ridiculous! She was extremely rude when I asked if that was correct.... Going someplace else!

I stopped there to see if they had an opening to have my nails done. I had met the owner before when he was shopping where I work. There were only two employees there at dinner time, and one customer. I asked if there were an openings and she just sat there showing no real interest and said you have have a appointment, didnt offer a business card or say what days currently has openings. The place was not very clean looking so I wont go back there.

I have never been to this Salon to the best of my knowledge
